The issue that I have experienced was: This is to do with a return of a formal Dress. I was late in returning the outfit as due to extenuating circumstances (sickness in the family- we are fell sick one after the other me being the last to recover) Once able I went to the David Jones store in Parramatta and explained the situation. I acknowledged that i was over the 60 days, but it was due to the reason mentioned above. The dress was in its original condition with the tags and the receipt of sale. I mentioned it to the Rep at the store that i understand that i am over the 60 days and as such will not get a refund and quite happy just to get store credit so that we could buy another dress as the one we originally chose -though beautiful was not very comfortable ( the school formal event is in September) -I was quite surprised when the manager told me that i was late and maybe i should try and sell the dress online ( marketplace etc) as they would not take it back . It was very shocking that House of CB would have such little pride in their own product that they would prefer the sale to happy through FB market place and suchlike websites Would you not prefer to take your won product back and prefer to sell it from your store rather than having a customer sell it on a 3rd party website specially as the dress was in original and pristine condition in its original wrapping with all tags attached . I was advised that no that was not an option so I requested for details of next person who i could escalate it to. I was then contacted via phone and given the email address of the national manager (email [protected]@houseofcb.com) to write to and explain the situation which i did on the 18th of August 2023, explaining in detail of what had transpired and also acknowledging that i was over the 60 day return policy but it was due to a valid reason. I Never received a response nor acknowledgement of my email. I then send another email follow up on 21st August 2023 and then a 3rd one on 27th August 2023- Disappointing that someone at a national level did not even bother to acknowledge the email or respond back.
Desired outcome: Please Refund
