I can't even give them a review
I can't even give them a review. They made it very difficult to get my funds and delayed, stalled so much that I had to borrow money. Terrible company!

I submitted a request to rebalance my stock over a month ago and it still hasn't happened. I submitted a request to their support team weeks ago and even though they were initially responsive, they haven't been able to help me, and more recently their support team has stopped giving me any information about my request, to the point where I'm guessing they are just hoping I forget about my request.

If I could leave 0 stars I would
If I could leave 0 stars I would. It's been a complete nightmare working with this company. We've been having issues since implementation (July) and were told they'd be fixed in January . Still not fixed. No one answers emails, no one will fix the issues. I can't even get managers to respond to emails, it's such a joke. My employees request fund changes, 2-3 days pass and nothing changes and no one answers emails as to why. It took 6 months to see these changes last time. I cannot wait to leave them and tell everyone who asks about 401k how horrible this company is at customer service and doing their jobs.

As a plan participant, a former employee of a company using Human Interest for their 401k plan, I found Human Interest to be unacceptably unresponsive, frustratingly unknowledgeable, and strangely lacking in protocols to find correct information. When I was able to communicate with them, I was promised a call back, or email, and never received anything. Later, one week I called everyday, leaving a message, asking for a call back, and never received one. I eventually took to calling every hour until someone finally picked up. I am refraining from conjecture as to what may be at issue with this company, instead just relaying my experience. Having worked with multiple other 401k providers as a plan participant, Human Interest stands out as a company which seems to try, if you can get them on the line, yet fails to provide a professional, knowledgeable service in this industry. I would not recommend Human Interest to companies aiming to provide a high quality 401k plan and service to their employees.

On 7/16 I requested to withdraw my retirement funds
On 7/16 I requested to withdraw my retirement funds. After many back and forth emails I was told my funds were being mailed to me 9/4 and to allow *** business days to receive. On 9/21 I emailed them to let them know I had not received my money. After many more back and forth emails, on 9/29 I was told there was an accounting error and and the issue has been escalated and to allow an additional 1-2 weeks. Each time I would ask where my money is they would say there was an issue and to allow additional days and/or weeks.

401k Company Human Interest had a severe bug in its system that erroneously took money out of an individual's paycheck when it should not have been. Human Interest continually makes up excuses as to how / when it will return the money to this individual amounting to almost $400. Human Interest has been delaying this process for months with no end in sight to a resolution / refund date, especially when continually pushing for an ETA. Human Interest further has transferred this case around several times internally as it appears nobody working there knows how to proceed.

401k Distribution Request and recieved by Human Interest on 5/18
401k Distribution Request and recieved by Human Interest on 5/18. It was a company/contract change and I had the option to withdrawal and pay penalty. I was told 3-4 weeks from that date. Since then I have several emails from support stating my issue with a status update has been escalated. I was informed it was an engineering issue and that they needed to remove a dividend. It has been over two months and I am still seeing my investment in my account and no record of the Distribution Request can be found on the site. I am now facing a hard ship and need my funds. I have received little to no support through this company.

Employment terminated April 22, 2022
Employment terminated April 22, 2022. Plan advisor is slow to respond to inquiries and assist in rollover. Rollover form is primitive at best. Plan has liquidated investments on May 12, 2022. Plan advises on May 23 2022 they have not yet sent the check to the rollover 401k provider as requested. Plan advises that this is in a compliance check, and will take 3-4 weeks to complete. This is an arbitrary and senseless delay. I request the plan expedite fund availability immediately by sending funds via overnight carrier to the recipient as noted on the rollover withdraw form. Further delays may inhibit my market activities and cause financial damage due to Human Interest's unnecessary delays.

Human Interest stole $4,000.00 from me in my 401K
Human Interest stole $4,000.00 from me in my 401K. I contacted them over a month ago to request a rollover of my 401K funds into another institution, because I left my previous employer. Human Interest was managing my 401K funds for my previous employer. Human interest told me that I will have my funds successfully rolled over to my personal institution within three weeks. Now, after a month my money is gone and nowhere to be seen. I keep calling Human Interest every week to follow up on this matter, and their hold times on the phone are obnoxious. They keep putting me on hold and then tell me to call back the following week. When I request to speak to a manager, they tell me they don't have managers available to assist customers.I want my $4,000.00 that Human Interest stole from me.

The company, Human Interest, is handing my 401K contributions from my employer
The company, Human Interest, is handing my 401K contributions from my employer. Earlier this year, I noticed that my total account value didn't match my contributions and was short of the expected amount. I contributed a large amount each pay check to reach the yearly maximum by the April 15th pay check. When I look at my account summary, the values presented don't make any sense and are inconsistent with each other. I contacted their support department on April 27th about the issues and though their support department has responded and identified the problem in their system, the issue has not been resolved and it is now July 28th. I have send several followup emails and they keep telling me they have escalated the issue to their engineering department but never-the-less my account is still short of the expected value by about $10,000 and I'm also losing expected interest gains.

I completed the paperwork on 2/11 for Human Interest to transfer my 401k via a rollover and was told it would take 2-4 wks
I completed the paperwork on 2/11 for Human Interest to transfer my 401k via a rollover and was told it would take 2-4 wks. They cashed out my funds of the market on 2/15 and show it as a distribution. However I called today as my receiving 401k has not gotten the rollover to find out that they are waiting for my old employer who terminated the plan to do a paperwork for compliance to release my funds. They have only reached out to one individual that use to be part of the firm and may not even be part of it since my start up was purchased and did not notify me that they would not be able to release my funds either and have done who knows what with my funds the last 3 weeks as it is in no account that I can see.Conversocial was purchased by Verint in July and terminated their plan. I am unclear how in March 2022 the proper paperwork was not obtained for my distribution. If this was the case then why on 2/11/22 when I got the attached email from a customer service person would they not flag that my account was no eligible for withdrawal. Many of the team members have left the company in these 6 months so I am guessing they aren't getting any response. The customer service is very poor with no manager available to call me back until tomorrow per the representative. I find it very hard to believe in the very highly regulated industry of 401k this seems like a good ethical business practice.

I have spent almost two months so far trying to regain access to my assets, which Human Interest hijacked without my permission and without notifying me. Their website says that the blackout period would last "up to 15 business days" which is about half the duration I've experienced so far. Since the beginning of this ordeal with Human Interest, I've been trying to reallocate and/or take distribution of my funds. Well, after being brushed off by their support staff and customer advocacy team, a manager reached out to me the day I received a welcome email from Human Interest. He said the right things, led me to believe I had standard access to my assets again, and handed me back off to a non-manager. I discovered that I could not manage my assets whatsoever, and emailed saying I'd like to reallocate my assets and/or take distribution of my funds. She replied "I was looking into your inquiry about updating your allocations, and unfortunately, they would no longer be able to be changed. We look forward to connecting next week."So, to summarize: - Human Interest imposed a blackout period twice as long as promised, so far - Human Interest did not offer resolution when I contacted their support team 10 times - Human Interest did not offer resolution when I contacted their advocacy team 2 times - Human Interest transitioned 6 years of data but all I can see is 0% personal rate of return and $0 change in value - Human Interest will not allow me to change the allocations they chose without my permission, and they don't intend to let me in the future - Human Interest will not allow me to request a distribution through their website, so I cannot send my property to another custodian

I would like to file a complaint against our 401K provider, Human Interest, Inc
I would like to file a complaint against our 401K provider, Human Interest, Inc. I do this to hopefully encourage Human Interest to adhere to its fiduciary obligations to protect its clients money. I also file this complaint so that another company like mine, looking for a new 401K provider, will think twice before selecting Human Interest. While I desperately do not want to spend any more of my time on Human Interest, I can still highlight the most egregious of the myriad issues we have faced in the short nine months that we have been with them. First, when we rolled over our account from Paychex they negligently and recklessly caused our company to miss an entire month of employee and employer contributions by instructing Paychex not to make the contributions and then failing to do it themselves. Human Interest then extended our blackout period more than once because due to an engineering error it had deposited all of our funds into an incorrect account. The most recent, and perhaps the most shocking error, happened to the owner of our law firm. He requested to make a transfer of some of the funds in his 401K to an annuity and completed the Human Interest provided paperwork to do so. Human Interest not only delayed action for more than a month on the request, but then, due to an engineering error, incorrectly removed ALL of the funds from this account, leaving a zero balance. It was us who had to bring this to their attention. There are many, many, other, smaller issues that we have faced with this company. I could not begin to count the number of hours I spent in 2021 finding, reporting, and fixing errors with Human Interest. I cannot stomach spending more time on it now to detail them in this letter. The three massive errors listed above should be enough. Human Interest has failed at its fiduciary duties and cannot be trusted to provide, administer, manage, or maintain a 401K plan.

I was employed by a notable company and enrolled in their 401k via Human Interests
I was employed by a notable company and enrolled in their 401k via Human Interests. They were selected by Next as the provider. Since I'm no longer with that company, I've asked to withdraw my retirement funds. I left the firm in October , and it's been half a year since my departure. I contacted Human Interest for a payout as their site didn't offer this option, which is concerning. They instructed me to complete a distribution form on April 8, 2022, which I submitted immediately. After not receiving any acknowledgment, I inquired about my request status. On April 18, 2022, they replied, stating it takes 3-4 weeks for distributions, and mine was on track. Five weeks later, my funds are still not released. I followed up on May 9, 2022, and was informed three days later of a backend issue with no resolution timeline. Previously, transferring my savings from Vanguard to Human Interest took months, nearly resulting in a $20,000 loss. The difficulty in accessing my own money and their unreliable customer service is distressing. I'm at a loss for further action since they're unreachable by phone and their email support is inconsistent. Assistance is urgently needed.
