Last April, we were faced with an emergency when our kitchen and the room adjacent to it flooded from a leaky pipe. We called a company who helped us stopped the leak, dry the water and relocate furniture. They also recommended IAS to help us deal with the water damage in the bedroom, kitchen and adjoining wall panels. IAS gave us an estimate that was presented to our insurance carrier who later denied our claimed. The damage was extensive and without the insurance money, there is no way we could repair the damages using our funds. The process practically was put on hold. IAS could have charged us with the cancellation fee based on the authorization we signed but was gracious enough to waive the fee. I want to thank *** of IAS for her understanding of our situation and guiding us through the process.

IAS builders was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire experience, after having water damage in my home. Project Manager Kelcy E was great to work with. He knew exactly what my insurance would and would not cover and even helped negotiate with them. Kelcy stayed in communication and checked in along the way to ensure I was satisfied with the work. Carlos the plumber was very friendly and did great work. He even made a special trip to the store when my new sink arrived with missing hardware. The painting and flooring crew also did great work. I had such a good experience with IAS Builders that I called Kelcy again to hire them back for additional updates to my condo. Kelcy clearly explains all of the Scope of Work details, pricing, and payment schedule so there are no surprises. I highly recommend IAS builders.

After receiving water damage from a neighbor's leaky pipe (condo) the mitigation company recommended IAS builders for repairs. Under the circumstances I called immediately. Initial contact was with *** who was very professional & sent *** to provide an estimate. Had several delays due to neighbor's insurance not responding but none caused by IAS. Once my insurance company got involved and we were all on the same page, IAS worked with them & within the insurance budget. Knowing that I needed my laundry area *** saw that work started immediately & was completed within a few days. After completion, a drier hose needed additional sealing, I contacted *** by text and the problem was resolved within a day. Repair estimate I thought was a little high but overall very satisfied with completed work.
We had a pipe burst in the attic and after the drying team finished we were referred to IAS builders and *** contacted me immediately to get someone out. They were very professional and got the estimate done quickly and came to an agreement with the insurance. *** was always helpful in answering any questions about the process.
IAS Builders was amazing! We had a leak in the kitchen that ran all the way to the family room and dining room. I was so stressed about the situation, I have a toddler and construction sounded like a nightmare. *** was very professional, punctual, understanding and explained everything step by step. He answered all my questions via email, text and calls. I had lost my grandfather during this time and I was an emotional wreck and broke down during one of our meetings at my home and was just feeling overwhelmed and *** didn't push. He showed compassion and told me to take my time and get through my grandfathers passing and let him know when I was ready to move forward. I did just that, and called him when I was ready. We were able to come up with a game plan and everything went smoothly. *** helped me with the insurance agent and made sure everything was taken care of. The kitchen looks amazing! I would definitely recommend *** (IAS Builders).

and *** were great to work with! *** was reasonably priced and I was able to file an insurance claim easily for the work they performed as a result of flooding from a leaking water heater. Id work with them again!
It was a pleasure working with IAS builders . They were prompt in answering all my questions and doubts since it was my 1st time dealing with such issues. *** gave me an complete understanding of the process and followed up through out to make sure the entire process was smooth. I would definitely recommend them if you are having any home renovation or any related work. Thanks
This is a long overdue review about my experience with this company.Last year I had a flood in my home, and I foolishly trusted IAS Builders to conduct repairs on my property. I called a flood company to come dry out my home and they recommended IAS Builders. I should have used a company through the insurance company.IAS Builders came out gave me an estimate right after the flooding incident and all seemed well. I was not sure what to expect, or do, but they offered me a solution to my problem. We signed documents and so they started their work. I thought all well be good, but I ended up have a large list of problems.[THE BAD]Poor communication with manager. He would not respond most of the time. I would give him about three to five days before I tried again. They went a month over promised completion time for repairs. They did not even replace one of the walls that was water damaged. (An entire wall that has marks still)They left holes, marks, and scratches on walls. The stairs were poorly done. They are not even level or flat. There is no side boarding running along stairs. One of the floorboards was not set correctly and moves easily. The molding was done very poorly. They ran molding too big in the space for refrigerator. If I move fridge the molding will scrap, and paint will come off. They did not replace a water damaged window frame. (I had to get that replaced myself)They did not replace a ceiling light with the correct one. They sent a guy out two months after with a different model. (I found the correct model and replaced it myself.)They damaged the molding and walls entering my home that had nothing to do with the flood. (I had to replace/repair this on my own.Rounded corners in different locations were having the metal come undone and showing big bumps in paint. These did not replace the fire alarms that had water running through them. They re-used damaged property. They did not reattach the curtains on my large glass doors properly. It is missing pieces, broken, and just falling off the wall.[The Good]They did a rather good job at replacing the drywall on the walls and ceiling. Overall, this company did a very mediocre job, and I catalogued many pictures of the repair process. The quality of the work was very amateur. I learnt my *** the hard way. I have had to spend my own time and money to repair their work. I would highly advise not to use this company. I do NOT recommend IAS BUILDERS.
Threatened to pull workers and told us to hire someone else when we asked them to finish painting the walls and ceilings, they used the wrong colors despite 4 conversations with 2 Mgrs and after paint chips and paint names were taped to the walls and ceilings to prevent mistakes. After they got our 2nd payment, were crude, insulting and would not show up to complete work. 3 No Shows, give you one lame excuse after the next for unfinished work. Made our water damage repairs a nightmare. When they did show up, used our paint, supplies, equipment, sent different staff each time at all hours. Cannot manage staff, basic communication or water damage repairs. Created lost work for us, chaos with other repairs and deliveries. We paid thousands and got horrible service and vulgar conversations from their managers. Dont' know how they can be licensed or operate legally. In the future, will always a Vendor from our *** otherwise there is no accountability once they have your cash. Hope to prevent anyone else from being taken by this disgusting company
I've used IAS twice as they were recommended by my insurance company
I've used IAS twice as they were recommended by my insurance company. I was not disappointed. Gloria has come to my home to doublecheck my requirements and to visually acclimate herself to what I needed in trying to match my flooring after a flood in my bathroom. She has followed up by telephone many times. I worked with Billy and Cameron, both project managers. Cameron accurately informed me of the expected timeline and did all measurements and estimates at my home in one visit. Overall, their work has been professional and good quality. The "hands-on" contractors have been prompt, friendly and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. A cleaning crew came in after my first job and did a thorough job of cleaning up. I would have given a 5 point review, except the painters that painted my ceiling on my second job did not clean up the popcorn or dust very well. That was a disappointment to an otherwise perfect job.
Hugo, Libni, and Isaac were a pleasure to work with. Our situation was unique and they were true professionals as they helped us sort out the insurance claims, etc. I would recommend them to others without a doubt
We had IAS come out to give us a quote after our house was flooded. They used insurance-approved software to communicate with our insurance company. Libni coordinated activity.
I had heard about IAS off of a recommendation from NextDoor. My late father's condo had suffered some water damage and I needed someone to come out and repair the unit. I contacted Gloria at IAS and she sent her "dream team" out the next morning. I had already been in contact with the insurance company, who were surprisingly cooperative and nice, but they still ended up lowballing the repairs, being located in a different state and all. Kelcy pointed out several parts of the insurance line item report that were just plain incorrect, but because IAS uses the same software the insurance companies use, he was able to send them a corrected line item list which was approved for three times as much as what insurance initially offered. After that, we got to business. Kelcy walked me through what needed to get done, asked if I had any preferences or input, and made executive decisions when I was overwhelmed. He always made sure the decisions were within our budget and matched or improved the aesthetics. Along the way we ran into a few problems and Kelcy suggested ways to fix it within budget, or improve it for a little extra. He never pressured me to choose one way or the other, simply provided options and explained his reason for the ideas. I should have listened to him right away, because I thought I knew better, but near the end of our rennovations, I realized he was right about the flooring the entire time and asked if we could change it as he had previously suggested. He made it happen the next day no fuss at all, and boy it looked a hundred times better. Also Mario, the foreman on my project, was a fantastic help, very knowledgable, and whenever I had a question he had an answer. He also hooked me up with new places to purchase things to fix up my own home. The entire team made this nightmare project a breeze, and I can't wait to use their services again on my main home.
I highly recommend IAS Builders!
I highly recommend IAS Builders! Kelcy was my project manager and when I initially met with him after my residence flooded, he explained the entire process, what I should expect and how he would help me navigate working with my insurance company and flooring companies. Kelcy took charge and delivered on every promise he made. He was always prompt, professional and always had answers and solutions for me. He prepared me for every step of the process and was always a step ahead so that there were no surprises throughout the renovation. He helped me with suggestions for temporary housing, arranged for the contents of my condo to be safely packed and stored while the renovation was being done and even had advice for the flooring design and color. The entire renovation turned out fantastic! And I owe that all to Kelcy's leadership and direction. Call IAS Builders and ask for Kelcy to be your project manager and you will not be disappointed!

I recently had a water/flood damage to my bathroom including damage to my wood floors, since this water damage was major I had to put in an Insurance Claim. IAS Builders were highly recommended to me, I met with Isaac and he assessed the damages, he walked me through the whole process of what needed to be replaced due to the water damage and the work that needed to get done step by step. I appreciated Isaacs insights, professionalism and always being in communication with me and my insurance company, which was very important to me, he also worked around my work schedule to get repairs done. I would also like to mentioned IAS Builder's great office staff, Gloria, Libni and Lorena were always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Lorena was a pleasure to work with, she worked with me in choosing floor tiles, vanity and assisting me with decisions with colors to choose from. The work is completed, and I now have a Beautiful restored Bathroom and Wood Floors! I would definitely recommend and use IAS Builders again!

Following an escrow inspection which included testing of the jacuzzi tub, a galvanized pipe in the wall between my townhouse and the neighbor's cracked open and water poured down my kitchen wall and into the neighbors garage. The plumber cut numerous holes in the walls to locate the source of the leak and replaced a section of the pipe. Flood Busters installed blowers to dry everything out, IAS Builders were recommended to do the demolition and restoration. I spoke with Gloria (the office manager) who was very helpful. Hugo (project manager) came to the townhouse and provided a very detailed estimate of the work and time required. The crew arrived on time the next morning and in less than two days the dry wall, insulation, paint, and kitchen wallpaper were restored. I am very pleased with the entire crew who worked on the repairs. I will definitely call IAS Builders if I ever need water damage repairs again and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants excellent quality work completed in a short timeframe.
A plumbing leak did damage at Mom's house
A plumbing leak did damage at Mom's house. Arranged two estimates for the restoration, one from IAS Builders (via referral from another vendor), and another from insurance company recommendation. We ended up using the other company purely out of convenience of processing the claim, but I had to give IAS a positive review based on their professionalism. My elderly Mom and I were overwhelmed with multiple contractors during the diagnosis, repair, and restoration process. We were also stressed because this was happening during the COVID lockdown. Cameron from IAS contacted me, and totally understood what we were going through. He showed up at the house on time, was professional and polite, worked his way around the other contractors while getting the measurements he needed to prepare the IAS estimate, and made his visit very easy for Mom and I. Knowing Mom is in the "high risk" category for COVID, Cameron came prepared with face coverings, clean gloves and shoe coverings, made the conscious effort to maintain distance, and left as soon as he was done.

IAS Builders fixed our water damage, but they made a mistake with the paperwork
IAS Builders fixed our water damage, but they made a mistake with the paperwork. They said I had to pay a $1000 deductible, but when I got the paperwork it said it was a deposit. The problem is that the state law says the deposit can't be more than $1000 or 10% of the cost. They took the money without giving me a bid first.
Got an email invoice from IAS Builders on May 07 for $1000
Got an email invoice from IAS Builders on May 07 for $1000. Was gonna give them a bad review anyways, but this just takes the cake. Didn't even know I signed a contract to cancel, and now they want me to pay up. And to top it off, they backdated the invoice to April 12, even though I didn't get it until May 07. Not sure if that's legal, but it's definitely shady. It all started with a leak in the kitchen, and I was signing forms left and right for plumbers, insurance, quick dry, and asbestos abatement. Ended up going with another bidder to rebuild because I lost faith in IAS Builders. Told them on May 06 that I was going with someone else, and now they want to charge me $1000 for basically nothing.
We had IAS Builders do an estimate for water damage repair, which Quick Dry recommended
We had IAS Builders do an estimate for water damage repair, which Quick Dry recommended. After we got insurance approval and our adjuster said we could choose any contractor, we decided to get other bids and work with IAS initially. The person we first spoke to was hard to get a hold of, but we finally tracked him down. Then we were passed along to someone who was incompetent and didn't know what we wanted and was unresponsive. We asked questions that took several days to weeks to get a response back. We decided to go with someone else and let them know. Then they decided to charge us $1,500 for NOTHING! They didn't disclose that just doing an estimate was going to cost anything. We have other contractors bid on the job without charging anything. They don't deserve a good rating and weren't very responsive to our requests for clarification, so we moved on because we didn't feel confident they would do a good job. It's a con job to get money out of people for nothing.

I used IAS Builders to restore my house after a flood occurred... I have had experiences with many construction companies and contractors for previous remodels and repairs and had extremely low confidence things would go well. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing service, very accurate estimates (both time and $) and professional demeanor of everyone on-site working on this effort. I would use IAS for any of my future needs and am eager to spread the word about their stellar performance. *** was perfect with his communication and interactions with his team. Again, just stellar performance.
After a bad install of appliances by a *** Depot plumber, we called a reputable plumber that came and corrected the problem. But the flood damage was already done. He referred us to IAS and I'm so glad he did! *** was able to make the necessary arrangements to quickly resolve our issue, and our neighbors. *** was quick and responsive to our needs and I highly recommend IAS.
We experienced a pin-hole leak in a copper pipe that ran through the ceiling of our bathroom that caused us to have to demo the ceiling, 3 of 4 walls, and the entire bathtub. IAS Builders was recommended to us for our restoration needs and we have found them to be very responsive and willing to help. Finding the right company was a big concern during this pandemic because it seems everyone is too busy to worry about a job as small as ours. *** seemed to go out of his way to visit our site quickly to generate a cost estimate to get things started. Likewise, *** was on top of all the paperwork; she knew where things were and what the status was whenever we asked. Job well done.
We really enjoyed our experience with IAS Builders. They came through for us at a tricky time. They made the repairs with efficiency and caring. We appreciated our interactions with *** and ***. We would recommend them highly.
