Disappointing Experience with Ideal Image: Negligence, Victim Blaming, and Poor Customer Service
I recently had an experience with Ideal Image that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had heard good things about the company and was excited to try out their services. However, my experience was far from ideal.
Firstly, I had issues with their customer service. I had to cancel appointments last minute and they were booking me for appointments over an hour away from my home. It was frustrating to deal with, but I tried to let it go.
Then, during one of my appointments, I sustained second and third degree burns all over my legs and private area. It was incredibly painful and I have been suffering for weeks while waiting for the blisters to burst and heal. I was shocked and upset that this had happened to me.
When I called to discuss the matter with Ideal Image, it was difficult to get a hold of someone who could help me. Finally, I was able to speak with Tyler, who was less than sympathetic. He began victim blaming and telling me that the contract says burning is expected. I tried to explain that I understand that burning can happen, but not to this extent. It was frustrating to feel like they were not taking responsibility for their negligence.
To make matters worse, the nurse who performed the initial burn told me that because I am a black woman with dark skin, this was expected. I was appalled and my family member who was with me at the time heard her say it as well. It was hurtful and made me feel like my race was being used against me.
I have been trying to get a refund for the last two of my five treatments and the remainder of my money back, but they are playing games and taking no responsibility for their actions. It's frustrating to feel like they don't care about their customers and are only concerned with financial gain.
Overall, I would not recommend Ideal Image to anyone, especially if you are a person of color. It's disappointing to have had such a negative experience with a company that I had high hopes for. I wish I had read more reviews before going to them, but I assumed that a nationwide company would put patient care first. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me.
Unsatisfactory Experience with Ideal Image: Poor Scheduling and Customer Service
I first heard about Ideal Image through Facebook and was impressed by the positive reviews on their page. I decided to reach out to them on 03/28/2022 to inquire about their services and pricing. Imrana Wali, the sales agent who answered my call, was very informative and explained their services and prices, as well as a promotion they had going on. However, when I told her I needed to speak with my husband before making a decision due to the high cost, she immediately pressured me to make a purchase by saying that I would lose the offer if I didn't buy it right away. Feeling pressured, I signed up for the service.
I requested weekend appointments due to my work schedule, but Imrana scheduled me for different days and split the services. I explained that I could only do it once and needed weekends, but she still scheduled me for April. Unfortunately, it was difficult for me to make those appointments and I asked if they could change it. The next representative I spoke to (who did not give their name) told me that the only available appointment for the full treatment was on June 4th. However, I got sick on that day and had to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, they told me that the next available appointment was in July.
Feeling frustrated with their inability to meet my scheduling needs, I requested a full refund. However, a representative told me that I couldn't get a refund due to the contract, unless their medical director stated that I was unable to receive treatments. I never received an evaluation from their medical director, despite informing them that I was diabetic with unstable hormones. I believe that the contract should be reviewed since they never provided me with a doctor to evaluate me.
During my interactions with Ideal Image, a representative mentioned that they are always booked and have many customer complaints. I did file a complaint on 06/04 and received a call from Ben Braughton, the Executive Client Care Service, a week later on 06/09/22. However, he told me that I couldn't get a refund due to the contract.
Overall, I would not recommend Ideal Image to anyone seeking their services. Their scheduling process is inflexible and their customer service is lacking. It's not worth the money or time to try and book an appointment with them.
Unprofessional and Scandalous: My Disappointing Experience with Ideal Image
I recently had an experience with Ideal Image that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Although I had not yet attended any of their facilities or confirmed an appointment, I called to cancel due to my further research on these procedures and my personal medical concerns. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was scandalous, rude, and downright argumentative. It was a very unprofessional experience, and I was left feeling like my concerns were not being taken seriously.
What really bothered me about this experience was the way that Ideal Image seemed to feel entitled to my finances, even though I had not given any type of confirmation to proceed with the procedure. They make you take out a loan and then refuse to give refunds, even when there are legitimate medical reasons for canceling. It's a frustrating and unfair situation, and it's clear that these cosmetic facilities are more interested in making money than in caring for their patients.
I've heard and seen a lot of bad reviews about this specific location, and it seems like the situation is even worse in the south. It's sad to see that even those in the medical field (cosmetic or medical) can no longer be trusted. As times have changed, I wish that the medical profession would have remained the same in terms of accommodating their patients and putting their needs first.
Overall, my experience with Ideal Image left me feeling like they were in desperate need of money. It's clear that they are willing to use money from a patient who has not even stepped foot in their facility, which is a clear indication of a scam. I would urge anyone considering a cosmetic procedure to be very careful and to do their research before committing to anything. It's important to find a facility that truly cares about their patients and is committed to providing the best possible care.
Predatory Tactics and Unpleasant Experience with Ideal Image: A Review
I recently had an experience with Ideal Image and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I had made an appointment with them but ended up canceling it three days later. The representative I spoke to informed me that I could cancel the appointment but I needed to reschedule or choose from another service. I refused other services and that's when things started to get a bit complicated.
The representative then informed me that I had signed a contract agreeing to services at the time of my consultation. I was a bit taken aback by this as the consultation was done via Zoom and not by an anesthetist. Moreover, I felt that the amount estimated was quite high for a little refresh. However, the representative assured me that any product not used could be used at a later date. I later realized that this ended up costing me more and made the amount financed more than necessary. It seemed like a tactic to get me to finance more through Ally Lending.
When I refused other services and asked to speak with a manager, I was contacted by Ben Braughton. I spoke to him on multiple occasions but the outcome was always the same. He kept repeating that I had signed a contract agreeing to services and they would not refund the money, but I could choose from other services. I felt like this was a predatory tactic to force me into cosmetic services that I didn't want.
Ben kindly sent me the contract by email but it had nothing in it about forcing someone to have services they don't want or not having the right to change their mind three days after scheduling. However, it did have a section asking me to agree not to participate in any class action lawsuits against Ideal Image.
The calls from Ideal Image continued for over a month and after receiving a $2400 bill from Ally Lending, I called and explained that I had never stepped foot in Ideal Image's office and they were insisting I make an appointment. The Ally Lending representative was helpful and said they had issues with Ideal Image and suggested I ask again for a refund and if it was refused, to file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General.
My phone call achieved nothing and the phone calls from Ideal Image continued a month after canceling my appointment. I eventually filed a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General's office. Ally Lending said to disregard the bill and they would file for a return of the money.
Yesterday, I received another call from Ideal Image and they again insisted I make an appointment and that the contract for the $2400 is between me and Ally, and they can't return the money, which is a lie. Each phone call is a different lie or tactic to force services.
Overall, my experience with Ideal Image was not a good one. I felt like they were trying to force me into services I didn't want and their tactics were predatory. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Beware of Ideal Image: Misleading Pricing and Payment Policies
I recently reached out to Ideal Image to inquire about fat removal on my stomach area. I spoke with Danielle Damarmis who informed me that the procedure would require eight cycles, with the first four cycles being done initially and the remaining four cycles to be done four to six weeks later to ensure all the fat cells were removed from the area. Danielle also provided me with a quote of around $4,000 and requested a $2,000 upfront payment, with the remaining balance to be paid in monthly installments of $136. I agreed to the terms and gave my debit card information.
After a month, I was finally able to schedule my appointment for the procedure. However, upon arrival, I was informed that I would actually need 16 cycles to complete the procedure. I immediately contacted Danielle to express my frustration and disappointment with the miscommunication. She apologized and informed me that her manager would be in touch with me.
A few days later, I spoke with the manager who also apologized and offered me Botox and free hair removal, which I declined as I was not interested in those services. The only other option offered to me was to pay an additional $2,500 for eight more cycles, which I declined as I felt it was unfair to have to pay more than the originally quoted price. I then went to my bank to reverse the charges, but was informed that I had signed a paper stating no refunds were allowed.
To my dismay, two weeks later, I noticed that the money for Ideal Image had been charged to my account again. I was furious as I was now overdrawn by $1,900 due to the charges. I felt scammed and misled by a company that was highly recommended. I caution anyone considering getting work done at any of their locations across the US to be wary of their pricing and payment policies. They tell you one price, but make you pay for it even before scheduling an appointment. This is another case of fraud and I urge others to not fall for their tactics.
I plan on taking legal action against Ideal Image for false advertisement and misrepresentation. If anyone has had a similar experience or has any feedback about this company, please let me know.
Unacceptable Treatment at Ideal Image: Prioritizing Profit Over Clients
I recently had some treatments done at Ideal Image in Las Vegas, NV, and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I have reached out to the managers and corporate, but have not received any response, which leads me to believe that this is a widespread issue throughout the company. It's clear that they prioritize profit over their clients, which is extremely disappointing.
To be honest, I am heartbroken about what Ideal Image has done to me. I have trouble getting out of bed in the morning and going to work because of how I look. I don't normally look like a monster, but that's what they have turned me into. All I am asking for is a refund, but the thought of the regional manager, Katie Olsen, and the manager for Las Vegas, Chris Myers, profiting off of what they have done to me is almost too much to bear.
I know I may be obsessing, but it's hard not to when I could look like this for the next 3-4 months. My eyes are so swollen that I have trouble keeping them open, and I'm afraid to drive because of it. It's affecting my work as a real estate agent, which is a huge part of my life. It's clear that Ideal Image is not in the people business, but rather the profit business.
To make matters worse, I was offered a refund for work that was not performed, but only if I signed paperwork stating that I would remove all negative posts and not go on any social media platform to let people know how they treat you at Ideal Image. This is unacceptable. When a mistake is made, the company should take responsibility and own up to it, not ignore their clients like they don't matter.
I am a real person with real feelings, and ignoring me is not okay. I want all of their clients and future clients to know what they are capable of doing to a person's life. It's not just about the physical appearance, but also the emotional toll it takes on someone. I used to be a happy person, but now it's hard to smile about anything.
Shame on you, Ideal Image, and especially Katie Olsen and Chris Myers. Dealing with people's lives should be taken very seriously, and it's clear that they don't understand that. I hope that this review will help others make an informed decision about whether or not to use their services.
Mixed Experience with Ideal Image: Disappointing Results and Unprofessional Admin Staff
I've been going to Ideal Image since May of 2021, and I have to say, my experience has been a mixed bag. My husband bought me the lifetime warranty treatment for 5 areas, which sounded great at first. My first treatment went fine, but things quickly went downhill from there. I was advised by a sales rep that I could get laser treatment and then go out in the sun, which sounded great since I was going on a trip and wanted smooth legs. Unfortunately, this advice turned out to be completely wrong. I ended up with agonizing burns on my legs that took weeks to recover from. I had to take medication to relieve the pain, redness, and swelling. When I brought this up at my next laser treatment, even the nurse said that the sales reps don't know what they're talking about half the time. This was definitely accurate in my case.
Despite this rocky start, I have to say that the medical staff at Ideal Image has been great. The nurses who have treated me have all been friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the admin staff. I've had several appointments changed randomly, which has caused me to miss some of them and have to reschedule. This has been frustrating, to say the least. When my 18-month contract was up, I was told that I couldn't have the treatment I was supposed to get because I had missed the "timeframe" for it. This was because the office had rescheduled me without notice. I was not happy about this, especially since I had spent over $10,000 at this point and was still not happy with my results.
Despite all of this, I decided to give Ideal Image another try and purchased another plan for 5 more areas. When I showed up for my appointment, I was told that I wasn't there for all of the treatment I had booked and that they didn't have enough time to do everything. This was frustrating, especially since they only treat you every 6 weeks for 18 months. As a working psychiatric provider, I can't just take time off whenever I want, so my time is precious. Ideal Image has been very unprofessional in this regard.
Overall, I have to say that I'm disappointed with my results. After 18 months of continuous treatment, my legs, underarms, and periA areas still grow hair. When I brought this up, I was told to "just purchase another plan." Are you serious? I've already spent over $10,000 and I'm still not happy with my results. This has been a waste of money, and I wouldn't recommend Ideal Image to anyone.
Disappointing Experience with Ideal Image: Bait and Switch Tactics and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Ideal Image. I saw an ad for a 50% discount on photo facial treatment and thought, "Hey, that sounds like a good deal!" So I reached out to them to get more information. But instead of just telling me the cost, they kept calling and emailing me to schedule a video consultation. I told them I was on vacation, but they didn't seem to care.
Eventually, I agreed to the consultation, but then they immediately turned it into a video call. I agreed to get the treatment at a location near my home, but then they told me that they didn't have the equipment there. They suggested other locations, but they were too far away for me. So I asked for a refund, but they refused.
I explained that this was a bait and switch tactic, and that I had entered into an agreement for a service at a specific location when I made my payment. But they just laughed at me and told me that I couldn't get a refund. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they told me that I would just get an even worse response from them.
I'm still waiting for a call back and a full refund. It's really frustrating that they have my money for a service that they can't even provide. And the way they treated me was just plain rude. I wouldn't recommend Ideal Image to anyone.
Coolsculpting
Hi, hope all is well! I am emailing you regarding my case with an ideal image located at 8120 Transit rd. amherst Ny 14221 PH: [protected]. I filed a claim and I received a message from bbb regarding their response that someone would contact me from Ideal Image and someone did about 2 weeks later Eileen Janiga was her name. A few days later from filing...

m very hesitant to do this knowing it will most likely be a waste of my time. I have complained on several occasions and received help once only to be taken away almost as fast.
My video consult was a joke. She said i was not a candidate for lol sculpting on my stomach but a great one for my upper arms. I paid via credit card. I went to my appt and low and behold i was a great candidate for my stomach so that is what we did. I had two sessions on my lower stomach and while i was there they work led up a quote for the additional eight sessions. I reviewed the quote, called the office and went over it with the front desk person. I financed it through ally. I showed up for my next appt. I had four more sessions done two on my middle stomach and two on my upper. I had six sessions left that i had already paid for. I had my next appt set up already and upon leaving the front desk girl< not the same one that i went over the plan with, tells me i need to pay another 1490.00. I had already paid for over 7000.00. I told her no that was not what i had been told and to please have the manager contact me. The manager was in New Mexico at this time. I left the office and within minutes received a text message confirming an appt for that afternoon. I had just left so i knew that was incorrect. That day i also found out that another inquiry had been made to ally for the 1490.00. I did not authorize this and was very upset and still am. I waited for a week I called back spoke to the initial person that i went over the plan with and she again left a message for the manager to contact me, which she did the following day. She told me that my credit would not be affected by the second inquiry, she also told me that she would credit me two sessions. After this i was never able to get an appointment. I then received a second bill from ally for 1490.00. I called and placed a dispute. Why would i open another account when the services paid for hadn’t been used as of yet. Besides the fact that i still had plenty of credit available bon the account that i opened.
Next i get a call from Ideal image stating if i do not drop the case i would looses all paid for treatments. I had to end up paying the additional 1490.00 to save my credit report.
I have done everything I promised in the agreement and your company has not.
I really don't expect to hear back from anyone there, as that has been the case since the problems started.
Desired outcome: Total refun
Lies and random charges
So the told me that their lifetime membership is a one time payment hey that a one time payment. But if course a year later since I paid for that lifetime membership I am getting charged again. And they tried to charge me twice but since my card is locked out didn't go through but that's besides the point. I'm scared to unlock my card and get charged by them. It's ridiculous why are they lying. Also I bought a good amount of Botox and yet I've only went in twice and I have no more left on my account. Im only 31 and I don't need that much Botox so why is all my units of Botox gone... Their just a shady business I wish someone would actually go through with a lawsuit against them.
Desired outcome: Stop trying to charge my card!!!! And give me back the units I never used.
My services
I had 5 IPL appts to get ride of my dark spots, the services was great but did not change anything on my face. I look exactly the same as I did before starting the treatments. So I paid over 1000 dollars for what? I am super upset cause this was the suggestion by the consultant without even seeing me in person. Then I was told by the nurses giving me the...

On 6/2/2023 I inquired about cool-sculpting. I spoke to a lady who had me apply for some financing and sign some documents quickly while I pulled over. She processed payment and then tells me they don't have an appointment til much later which did not work for me. I said fine as they already took payment. I got a call on 6/7.2023 that the technician was fired or quit from the Nanuet location. I immediately said forget it I want a refund. The date was inconvenient to begin with and i'm not rescheduling. I spoke to Ben on 6/8/2023, he said they COULD NOT refund me, so in essence, I was forced to pick other inconvenient dates in SEPARATE locations! I sent an email this same evening and got a ridiculous response in the morning. I called four times and corporate would not speak to me and Erin did not find it important to call me back. I am not even comfortable doing anything at these facilities and will not be forced to. Not to mention some fraudulent forms of obtaining payment, I will not go into detail here just yet. I have not had any procedure or even visited a location. This is a grotesque conduct of business. I see why many people here are ready to go for a class-action suit. This company should be more consumer friendly and cautious.
Desired outcome: REFUND
Laser treatments
Hello, I signed a contract with ideal image to get a laser treatment removal for a total of 5248.99$. 2000$ was paid as a down payment through a lender they use and the rest of the money I pay monthly through my bank (203.00$ every month). I am aware of signing contract means no cancelation but I feel the business is breaching their part of the contract...

I had a free consultation a few months ago on 4/13/2023 with Ideal Image Fort Worth Tx where i did not book services or make an appt based on the consultation and her pressuring me to book and pay without even knowing a date or if i would need a letter from my dr. Her name was Barbi Tarighi. I now 5/27/23 have a withdraw from my account that i didn’t authorize for payment or book.
Desired outcome: I NEED THIS REFUNDED ASAP
Services can't be provided
June of 2022, I had talked to a sales rep that was really nice. She informed me that I will love my services and that I will get my laser hair removal treatments every 6 weeks and my skin will be "baby soft." She informed me that the provider will look over my legs to make sure that they can treat me as I was worried because my upper legs have very light hair.
I got there and they stated that they can't treat my upper legs so I said ok well you can take that off my services since I can't do it. They stated that they can't take it off so I'm stuck paying for upper legs that they can't even service.
Since then, I have been trying to get that cancelled. I thought while i do that I might as well keep treating my under arms, lower legs and brazilian. I made an appointment for my second session and they called me the day before stating that the nurse wasn't going to be in the office. I waited 6 weeks. Since that was the first time that happened I said ok lets make another appointment. Made the appointment and I actually got to go to that one as well as my third.
Now it was September. I made my 4th appointment, they called and cancelled it the day before, made another one, cancelled again the day before. This has been happening since SEPTEMBER! All of my hair has grown back, I haven't received any services and I'm STILL paying for my lower legs that they can't even service!
Desired outcome: I would like my money back for my lower legs and get out of BOTH contracts
Ultherapy and BBL
I purchased multiple packages for treatments-
A couple months after initially purchasing a few areas - I was told I would need to be reimbursed for one area because it was a service I shouldn't and can't do as it is contraindicated for a service I had elsewhere. I was reimbursed for that area - When I came to do the third of the two other areas - We were done in 20 minutes instead of an hour - When I asked why, The tech she said you can't do the complete area - because of a pervious treatment (threading) done somewhere else prior. I said then why did you guys not reimburse me for these two treatments instead of just one? Why charge me for the second area and only do half? I shouldn't have been charged or treated at all in the second area - She said -"Well you have already been reimbursed for the first area so we already gave you your money back for that".
I asked again - the second treatment was sold as the lower face which you weren't able to complete as I had previous threading done then why would I pay for full lower face to do half that treatment - "Don't worry she said when we reimbursed you for your first treatment we gave you money back for the lower face"... So you have already been reimbursed for for that area - it comes with the neck area that we couldn't do and you received a reimbursement for that already. But the second area I paid for included the area that you could not do and I paid in full and you could complete half the service - you didn't sell it to me at half price... she said you got reimbursed for it when we could not do your neck-... again. The two services overlap. (BUT I DID NOT GET IT DONE IN THE FIRST SERVICE NOR THE 2ND SERVICE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A SERVICE THAT CAN BE PERFOMED ON ME_ THEN WHY WAS I SOLD THE SERVICE AND STARTED ON INSTEAD OF SAYING I WAS CONTRAINDICATED FOR THAT ONE TOO!? This was sold as a complete lower face not half a lower face billed and paid for - I wouldn't have purchased it or started the service if I knew it couldn't be completed!?
Also my face has reddish blotches everywhere and I didn't want to go further with the BBL - the tech said no - lets not reimburse you for this now - We will just Keep and eye on it and see what it does - These procedures expire if you don't use them - it took months to book to get in for the first visit. I have written a poor review following the services - no one contacted me in regards to my complaints and concerns. I spent over $2,000 on services that aren't deliverable - they have difficlulty getting you in and the customer service number and different sales ppl won't return my many calls and messages. I even called to act like a new customer and talked at length of why I was not happy with services and want a refund for the parital treatment provided for Ultthearpy and the BBL that I am scared to use as I see hyper pigmentation... Again she said she would email me back in the hour and I never heard back - that was my sixth time reaching out to IDEAL Image
Desired outcome: Money in leu of services half performed or not yet performed- PLEASE train your staff not just to sell and service clients but to understand the money aspect!!!!!! and what can and can't be performed before taking their money!!!!!!
Fraudulent charges
Back in February 23, 2023 I called Ideal Image in Manhattan Beach to inquire about their aesthetics service. Although I decided not to use their service I recently received a bill from Fortiva Retail Credit for $4,426.68. On further investigation I determined that the bill had originated from Ideal Image. I never signed a contract and never received any services from Ideal Image. Just yesterday I received a letter from Fortiva Retail Credit stating that the account was past due and being referred to a collections group.
Desired outcome: Cancellation of all charges and associated fees.
Thieves and scam!!!
I had spoken with a representative from Ideal Image for a free consultation that was free and at the end I explained to the representative that I did not want to make any decisions because I was in a financial situation and was not even sure if I wanted to go through with the services! I wanted to talk to my mom and my fiance first before making any decisions! Then I begin getting billed for $300+ without my permission! I am absolutely baffled that they are stealing my money! I am not behind on bills and on the brink of losing my apartment because of these thieves! I am currently connected with a lawyer and I will get the money they stole from me back!
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and the money you have stolen from me back.
Being billed for service I never received
I spoke to some on the Phone. Electronically signed and they approved me for Credit Towards treatment $2000.00. I had to make arrangements for the rest. I then changed my mind and never even made an appt to go for a Consultation. Then sent me a Fortiva Credit card with 2000$ Credit limit. Then I start receiving a bill for this without even making an appt for service. they are increasing by late fees for non payment.. What the heck am I paying for, nothing was ever done for me? Total Rip off, this needs to stop! what can be done? its just not right. I called and they are giving me the run around. Everyone to call someone else!
Desired outcome: cancel this please, it's just not right!!
