Champion Ruby - new packaging and crumby tobacco
Dear Imperial, I have long enjoyed smoking Champion Ruby, however I have of late noticed some outlets selling the pouch in a stiff/zip locked pouch, and have found the tobacco inside to be crumbs rather than long strands of tobacco that roll well, and don't fall out of the paper as rolled...
I am wondering if this is an intentional change, or if I am just unlucky enough to have purchased a few pouches with lower quality tobacco than I am accustomed from Champion Ruby? ([protected]@hotmail.com)
Desired outcome: A refund would be nice, a return to the old pouch preferred, but more importantly, a batch of delicious Champion that is proper rolling tobacco rather than the crumbs you usually get at the bottom of the pouch...

Riverstone tobacco
I am a regular consumer. Unfortunately the value aspect of the pouch is diminished due to the tarry lumps distributed through the product which are unusable and have to be consigned to the bin. I estimate that 2 to three grammes of a 25 gramme pouch is waste. As a heavy smoker, I have had this experience with hundreds of Riverstone pouches, only continuing to purchase because I enjoy the blend. Please improve quality control so I'm not throwing expensive grammes in the bin.

quality of jps blue ryo tobacco
for the past 8 years i have smoked jps blue ryo tobacco they used to be a decent and cheaply priced tobacco , not any more the quality has gone! i spend $200 a week on tobacco i have found there is more stick like pieces in the pouches aswell as really loose tobacco "crumb like" . as a long term smoker of your tobacco im not happy and will be looking for another brand !

Drum rolling tobacco - dry
I lodged a complaint on 19 July 2022 - 3 weeks ago. To date have not even received an acknowledgement - let alone any offer of a refund for the 2 packs that were dry.
I have since tried another - purchased from Coles in Sanctuary Lakes, Victoria this morning and again, the content was dry.
I now have a sore throat and have been forced to purchase another brand.
At $126 per pack, I have wasted in excess of $350!
FYI, the invoice from Coles this morning is receipt #1857 (9/8/22 at 9:28am).
As previously stated, I would be happy to return all this unwanted dry tobacco to you.

Hi in regards to the above tobacco listed I'm just writing to say how sick of all the bark and constantly how dry out the tobacco is I have raised it with Woolworths at stocklands in Wendouree on the 3rd of the 8th 2022 and they have told me to complain directly with the company I have smoked your cigarettes 4 years and I am finally sick of it if it isn't bark it is dried out if it isn't dried out it is big chunks of rolled black tar.

Jps tobacco
For a long time I have been buying 25gram or 50gram of jps from my local tobacconist at seven hills plaza.
More or less every pack has had a special treat left in the by rats...
Rat fecies.
At least the last 7 pouches in a row has had it in. Mainly the 25grams pouches for some reason.
It seems to be getting worse. Never mind about the health risks.
Does imperial tobacco have a quality control check in order? And if so how can they be missing this?

The butt of cigarette doubled filter paper with excess filter paper exposed. Unable to use. I buy 2 packets a day of this brand and have noticed the same issue with other cigarettes in other different packets.
Desired outcome: Would like to be imbursed a free carton as I am a loyal customer and these are my preferred choice of cigarettes.

Champion legendary rich red 50g
I buy 2 pouches of this tobacco a week and have noticed that the quality of the product continues to drop. There are a lot more stems and 'black tar balls' in product. These issues seem to be getting worse.
However, worse still, I have found what looks like green plastic, similar to garden ties in my last packet together with all the above. I hope I have never actually smoked this stuff.
I am now considering using a local Tobacconist as a result of the ongoing decline in the quality of your product.

I contacted the 1800 number this morning and quoted batch numbers from the packaging ( Which I have since thrown out) only to be told that the information I have provided, together with the photo, will be passed on. Compensation was denied as I haven't got the empty zip lock pouch.
Not a satisfactory result !

Horizon blue rolling tobacco
I buy 5-6 pouches of this tobacco a week from the start of this year I’ve noticed the quality of the product has dropped. There is a lot more stems and and black tar balls in product but the biggest problem is self life at least 2 pouches every week the tobacco is quite dry and it crumbles to very fine almost dust and the taste and smell is not very nice.

Faulty cigarettes received when buying 1 carton
I recently purchased a carton of JPS Silver + Firm Touch Filter with several faulty cigarettes packed within 3 packets. There was a total of 7 cigarettes damaged.

Riverstone premium rum blend 25g
Every packet I buy of riverstone tobacco 25g I have thick black balls of tar like substance almost half a tree worth of stalks and now to my surprise a piece of band aid (plaster) wrapper amongst the tobacco. I felt sick after seeing this. And the cost of tobacco to find a torn piece of plaster wrapper is utterly disgusting. Refund would be nice.

Riverstone 25g rolling tobacco
Phonto attached of defaulted product being weighed bag weight has been removed before weighing I have been smoking riverstone ryo for the last year @ around 75g per week it seems i am constantly getting black resin like chunks in each packet I was trying to look past it but of late they have been between .5-1.5g, so constantly il paying for around 5g per week of a product I can do nothing with I really hope to hear back from you guys and would like to still be an honest paying customer

Champion Ruby
The last few pouches I've bought have had a very high percentage of hard sticks and large chunks of tobacco which are unsmokable and if the odd bit is rolled into a cigarette unwittingly it ruins the entire thing when trying to smoke it. The price of tobacco in Australia is far too high, and if buying a premium tobacco I expect high quality. Unfortunately the quality and consistency is way off at the moment.

Tobacco Pouch Plastic material
These new style tobacco pouches are no good.
The tobacco strands and flakes, crumbs stick to the lining of the pouch.
Even after months of using the same pouch( refilled daily from new pouchs) the tobacco persists in sticking to this plastic material.
Now considering it costs over $50 to purchase we at least expect better from the pouch itself.
They are very annoying to use and many of us don't like using tins.
Can u please get rid of these pouches and replace with pouches who's material is not sticky and rigid.
As in the pouches that were replaced by these inferior ones.

Packaging defect tobacco pouch
Me and my mate bought a 50g pack of white ox from Coles, Port Augusta on 5th of July 2022, each and both packages when opened were ruined under the zip line due to the packet being glued too hard together - it’s resulting in the tobacco drying out incredibly fast because of the hole that was left (he had a tin to put his in to keep it fresh, I didn’t)
Desired outcome: A refund would be great but basically for the price you pay for quality products, I’d expect the packaging to be able to make it last the fortnight so better care in the packaging department would be paramount

I have received two packets of 50g white ox tobacco with these new pouches with the ziplock and both have had the ziplock open not even zipped up and the tobacco feels dry as and tastes like dried out end of the pouch stuff
Can you even get a refund from your local woolies or wherever you bought it from or like a new packet, of course imma touch it and had a smoke out of it cause i am a smoker, but what are you even supposed to do or make this stop happening?

I've been smoking your tobacco for the last 12 months roughly, I go through 4-5 pouches a week and noticed a lot for a while there were lots of little clumps of tar/resin in it, haven't bothered complaining before, but the size and frequency of them are getting ridiculous. Pay top dollar for this stuff and it's getting un smokable. I do really enjoy your flavour but getting to the points where enough I enough. Very disappointed customer

G'day Guys ,I've been smoking champion Ruby for the last 10 years and really enjoy your product ,you have recently changed your plastic pouch to a resealable pouch that I don't like at all. I work on boats and sometimes I have very little time to smash out a quick rollie , this new style of pouch is very awkward for rolling .Its cumbersome seal strip and extra amount of flappy plastic wrap around, Make it quite awkward. I'm having to use both hands and it is almost impossible to do while I'm driving. This new pouch is causing me serious grief to the point I'm almost considering throwing in my $8000 per year habbit. Hi I've been a great supporter of this brand for a long time ever since I can't afford my old choice horizon red. I brought a pkt they other day and I got a different number on each cigarette I looked at my mother's as she smokes Ur brand in gold and it was the same number. I was disappointed as I can only afford one pkt a fortnight as Iam unemployed. So I had to cut the but to make it stronger. I did think of changing brand but I didn't but I would like a response to this as Iam sticking with Ur brand let's just say I give U a second chance.

Over the last few weeks I've been having packets of these cigarettes which taste like burn and a sickly taste I have smoked this brand for over 20 years having between 20 and 40 a day you have always been brilliant I've got 11 members of my family who smoke this brand aswell and I've given them one they said these are not right we are considering moving to another brand like Pall Mall cheaper and at the minute and taste better its really put me off. I've got them from supermarkets so there not fakes.
