Incheon International Airport transfer

Something I just find very foolish: I am traveling from Taipei to Chicago with a transfer at Incheon Airport, South Korea. After I had went through the security check at Taoyuan Taipei Airport, I had bought three can drinks and I had filled up my water bottle. I drank one can and I decided to bring the other two cans and my water bottle onto the plane. After I arrived at Incheon Airport, I headed to the gate for my connecting flight, but I had to go through another security check. At the check, I told the security folks at Incheon Airport that the drinks were purchased and my bottle water was filled AFTER I had gone through the security gate in Taipei. Nonetheless, they threw them away. I find a second security check between connecting flights that restrict water or liquid purchased after the initial security check to be stupid.

I agree with you. They even didn't talk with me in English, no explaination and it is worse that they kept all my body lotion bought in Atlanta airport (not threw away)

Incheon International Airport behavior of sm duty free staff at the food court

To whom it may concern,

On 23rd February 2016 at about 1400hrs, I was waiting for my departure flight at 1635hrs back to Singapore and decided to have lunch. Therefore I went to Gate 25 level 2 food court. It was lunch time for Incheon staffs as well and the place was a bit busy.

While searching for seats, my friend and I saw an empty table and we was about to pull the chair to seat when we saw a lady threw across her purse to book the table. I was appalled by the behavior and when I turned to look, the lady was actually in uniform working under Incheon international airport, the top 5 airport in the world. However we searched for other table and gave in to her.

It was my first time being in Korea and I enjoyed my whole 10 days holidaying in the country with happy experience. I was disappointed and sad to end my great trip with this bad experience from an Incheon airport staff. Representing one of the best airport in the world, she should have not behaved in that manner towards a foreigner visiting her country. It is disrespectful and she has casted a very bad image of a service provider of Incheon International airport.

I asked for her name to send a feedback and she refused to give me and I had to asked many many times before her friend actually gave me. Her name is Kim Su Jin, working for SM Duty free.

I would greatly appreciate to get a reply regarding this matter.

Hi I'm Korean America and live in Seoul. I agree with you that many many young Koreans have a very insolent behavior. Especially those in their 20s. I am 50 and Male. I look Korean because my parents are both Koreans. The young Koreans are very arrogant and order me around. I was at A food court at incheon airport and walked up to the self service to get some side dishes like kimchi. As soon as I got to the counter a young man who was a worker their told me to move. He wanted to get some dishes from below the counter. I had just got to the counter to get some kimchi. As I am a customer and also old enough to be his father he should wait until I'm done. Who does he think he is? On the arrival floor my 70 year old mother had to move because two young insolent girls in their 20s did not move for her as they walked towards her. I am so shocked at this barbaric behavior. Even in America white American girls with blonde hair show respect to their elders. But these young Koreans who are nothing compared to white Americans act like they are better than others. I don't know whether to laugh or get angry. Even when I went to Europe, I was cut off by a Korean woman in her late 20s. I was waking in a train station food court and dragging my suit case. The Korean woman who was far from me suddenly walked in front of me so I had to stop immediately. She cut me off and didn't even say sorry. So I calmly told her she was very rude. I thought she was mainland Chinese. Suddenly here young husband came running at me aggressively and started shouting arrogantly and loudly to me "who are you?! Where are you from?! Do you want to fight?! I am from South Korea!" I was old enough to be his father or uncle. And then he pretedend to punch me with his fists. He wanted to scare me. I was so ashamed because all the European people heard him shouting. So I told him I didn't want to fight him and walked out of the food court. But about 15 minutes later I walked in again because I was very hungry. When I walked in the Korean woman saw me and gave me an arrogant insolent laughing look. I don't know why. Normally when strangers have an argument and then go away and tweet each other again they ignore each other, but she was like a immature psycho. She continued to want to fight. This behavior is very typical in South Korea. I don't know why they think they are so great. Nobody in the world thinks they are.

Sorry for my spelling. I meant that the Korean woman who cut me off in he European train station gave me an insolent arrogant laughing look when she saw that I returned to the food court. She saw me. Not tweeted me. Koreans can be very arrogant. I don't know why, because nobody thinks they're great. It's really laughably funny but also infuriating.

Incheon International Airport lack of luggage services and counter

I am utterly very disappointed, while I'm waited for going back to Malaysia and during check in my luggage, the staff only open three counter, for Malaysia Airlines while the counter for Jinx Air is more than three, all the families need to make long queue that includes all the family members and as for me i bring my aunt and she's on the wheel chair and we need to wait for a long time. The counter for Jinx Air already finish to check in the passengers and as for us we still wait with three counter.
I hope that the company can take this issue seriously because it will make the other passenger getting frustrated with the long queue and late service.

Incheon International Airport not honest retail shop at incheon international airport

I would like to draw you attention on this matter…

As per attached my purchased and the shop detailed.

I walked to the ship and requested for Ginseng Gel for kid…

A correct product (1 individual Pack – think and long) was shown and given to me. I am sorry, I have thrown the pack after consumed. But I have download similar packing as below for your reference but it was with entire Red color package (the one given to me)

Thick and Long Stick (as per below picture) & the picture shown might not be the product one that I am looking at.

As per attached actual product that was given from the shop, It is liquid instead of Gel form.. Interm of package and product, they are total 2 different from what I want and the sample shown/given…

My kid and myself was very disappointed. We are lost our confident in shopping at Incheon airport which rated the best airport worldwide

Incheon International Airport rude manner of the clerk of "아워홈ourhome food empire"

I am very disappointed and upset by the unfriendly attitude which is so unacceptable from the staff of information desk and transfer desk but what i cannot stand the most was the rude, insolent manner from the clerk at "아워홈ourhome food empire" which is located at the 4th floor of incheon airport.

My friend and i wanted to eat a kind of noodles which is called jajangmyeon(자장면) and went to "food empire" at 21:10 on 2016/10/22. We told the female clerk that we would like to order jajangmyeon and she replied "no jajangmyeon! Here rice! Noodles there!" (She pointed to the other side) we thought she was referring to the self-ordering kiosks so we took a look at it. The female clerk stared at us with disdain, tutted, shook her head and said "no!" she pointed again and this time we realized that she was referring to the counter at the other side.

We went to the other side but the clerk there said if we wanted to order jajangmyeon, we should come back to the original counter; so we came back to ask that female clerk "do you have jajangmyeon?" she replied "jajangmyeon done! Only rice! Korean food close one minute!" with curt. My friend looked at the menu and the female clerk slapped the table and yelled at us "hurry! Order close one minute!" we felt so offended and decided not to order.

I've traveled to many countries but have never seen such an impertinent behaviour! I heard of many unpleasant travel experiences at incheon airport from others but not until i had the same displeasing experience did i resonate with them!

Incheon International Airport security check

Prior to entering the security check, my laptop pc was fine.

However, after passing through the security check, when I turned on my laptop it was malfunctioning- I brought this to the attention of the security team, but without considering the situation, they simply said they had nothing to do with it.

More than that, they implied that I was making up a story.

Incheon International Airport transit tour lady

September 17th 9:00 am I have met a Korean young lady at Transit tour desk, they hourly coming to collect Costumers.
Information people gave me Booklet about tour, i was waiting my flight from 6:50 am to 7:00 pm.
The booklet said clearly, you don't need visa in Korea for taking tour.
But the lady saw my Citizenship and Trip tickets said "You cannot take it". I was asking her to explain about the Booklet she said NO!
She was rude and I asked her If i could see higher official she said, You cannot! Manager don't come.
I don't understand, I told her, Why yr booklet said that, showed her English and Russian version.
She didn't answer.
This is discrimination!

Incheon International Airport rude airline manager mr li hong guang

Dear All,
I am here to show you my worst travel experience at Incheon International Airport! Because of MR LI HONG GUANG!
Me and my wife flying with 3U8904 on Nov 6th 2014 at Incheon Airport. Check-in counter open at 19:25. There were lots of people Q -ing in the line, and there was no business counter at all.( but there were a few business class passagers) I was in the line also, about 10 mins later we were at the check-in counter ready for check-in baggage and get the boarding pass(Did not sign Business Class). MR LI HONG GUANG came to my face and told me: Sir, they are business class passagers and they will check-in first. (note: he was speaking in Chinese and never use "Please and May I ask...") his tone of voice was sooooo RUDE! So my answer was absolutely NO! And Why they can jump the Q? MR LI HONG GUANG was so shocked, may be the answer is opposite what he thought. And MR LI HONG GUANG spoke to the check-in staff and ask her take the business class passagers passports, then MR LI HONG GUANG removed my baggage and throw it behind the counter. I keep asking: Why not you ask me politely? Why the business class passager jump the Q? Why don't you open a business class counter for this airbus 330(big air-plane)? MR LI HONG GUANG only answered me: YOU DO NOT HAVE OPTIONS! THIS IS WHAT YOU MUST DO! ( WTF?!) I really could not believe I am in Korea! I am in Incheon International Airport! Which is providing the best customer service Airport in the world!
Today, I still want to ask Incheon International Airport: Why you chose this kind of person work in your airport? Do you still do service coaching?
Today, I still want to ask Sichuan Airline (3U8904): Why you promote this kind of person to be a manager?
Today, I still want to ask MR LI HONG GUANG: Why can you be so proud of yourself as an INCHEON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ground service duty MANAGER? Where is your confidence comes from?

What do you expect from Korean? They are the among racist people I ever encountered in so called developed nation. I even smack the TV if I saw my people watching their lousy drama without any experience going to Korea. All started with how I was treated at Incheon last February. Their ground staff handled white people grouses with smile and when when my turn to ask, no whine, no grouse, no complaint, upon seeing me a dark complexion Asian from South East Asia, her face suddenly change beforehand. Their conversation suddenly turned like between me and a TV star that forced to work at airport unwillingly and try to tell me 'you are dark and ugly'. Maybe all the smile are mere plastic, as their plastic-surgery faces. Skytrax only take rate from white people that these Korean serve full fledged. That makes this racist airport staff never make the airport rating down.

my brother Moussa Ahmed Maher Internet engineer networks from EGYPT and lives in United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi, , he booked a ticket to south korea and hotel room to travel in 21 january and he get approved for going there and in 21 january went to south korean seoul airport with hope to enjoy every single day with korean culture and people and democracy system and to find his owen space life which we all heard about it and dream to see it one day, and after when he arrived to the seoul airport . there is employer whos in charge of travelling ask him whats your plan in korea, and Moussa told him about what his gonna do verbally or orally, and the employe refuse and told him he dont believe what he said and thats because there is egyption people escape in korea when they get in, and when Moussa asked for a calling the Egyptian Embassy, the employer told him he dont have the right to talk more or to Draw upon the Egyptian Embassy and become speak offensive, let him setting in room for hours and he killed his dreamed and his holliday and Moussa came back again 23 january to where his lives with big A disappointment
is that Korea which we all heared about it and dream to see it . he need your support as soon as possible for saving him and all other people who dont want to hear this sad story killing his join and intense interest for travelling to Korea
