Today I went to Indane Gas Agency for gas booking. But I was shocked to see that they were forcing consumers to buy a gas pipe which costs 170/-. I was not agreed to buy this pipe because I renewed my gas pipe only few weeks back. I have been very aware of these things such as gas cylinder and its accessories.

Now agency officials are not ready to book my gas even in this festive season, when a person needs it most. When I tried to contact to the Sales Officer Mr. Swarn Singh, he doesn’t pick my phone. Even on land line number.

I am living in chennai. I am also have the same problem with my area gas agency. Where I have to complain about it.

i agree this happening with me also, i wanted to apply for new connection, Rashmi gas agency in Mysore road bangalore is insisting me to buy gas stove . they are not coming for inspection of my existing gas stove even after i put a formal request 10 days back. they are not giving proper answer for when they will come for inspection.

I am not sure to whome should i complaint ?

IAM USING INDANEGAS FOR MORE THAN 25 YEARS
NOW CHINTAMANI SUPPER MARKET IS ASKING FOR RATIONCARD, I HAVE NOT OBTAIN NEW CARD AS I WAS OUT OF STATION .THEN I HAVE APPLIED FOR NEW CARD FOR WHICH ACK. SLIP WAS GIVEN AND IAM YET TO GET THE CARD.BUTGAS AGENCY
REFUSING TO BOOK MY GAS WITHOUT RATION CARD AFTER SHOWING THE ACK.SLIP .DELAY IN ISSUEING THE RATION CARD IS BY THE CIVIL SUPPLIES DEPT.
PL INFORM ME HOW I CAN GET THE CYILINDER.

I booked my cylinder on 22/04/2008 on that time they said that their cash & carry software is not working .Today i went to Ramnik Gas agency on my village for cash & carry of gas cylinder today they again said that their cash & carry software is not working that why u have pay for home delivery payment after that u get a gas cyliner the cash & carry price is 288.60 & home delivery price is 10 extra. If I m free & I go there for cash & carry so why I pay 10 extra. After that I want sale's officer phone number they said that we don't have sale's officer phone number. So, plz advice me wht can i do on this topic.

The complaint regarding Non delivery of gas cylinder by M/s Uday gas agency, Naroda patiya, ahmedabad is as mentioned below.
* Non delivery of gas cylinder even booking has been made on IVRS System on 04-04-2008 for consumer no.28377.
*The delivery man has replied that, he has not any booked cylinder for above said consmer no.
*IVRS system does not give the booking no.
* The behavior of delivery man is not proper.
So, You are kindly requested to make arrngement for gas cylinder quickly to avoid our inconveniency.

I wanted to book a gas cylinder over phone, but the lines are engaged for maximum time. Is it done puposefully I do not know. I have tried contnuously for an hour or so. Plz help us out. This is the situation at the Baghajatin Gas Service, Kolkata-84.

I went to a gas agency situated nearby to my residence and asked for a gas connection. He told that he will be giving the new connection only when i will purchase a gas stove from the agency. I may please be intimated whether it is mandatory to purchase a gas stove from the agency itself. I am living in DHRANGDHRA, DIST- SURENDRANAGAR, STATE- GUJRAT

The agencies in dwarka refuse to give new connection, excuse is given that all connection are closed due to shortage to gas, also they give an option to go for commercial connection (which not affordable), and later on can transfer it to domestic connection. Tell me how is that possible if domestic connection is closed why gas/cylinder is available for commercials.

I, Sarwan Kumar belong to Bahraich, U.P. I booked gas to my Dist. Agency as on 24.05.08 and after 13 days I have received Gas as on 06.06.08 but Receipt Slip is showing the date as on 03.06.08 and value is 299.35 but he take Rs. 350.20 I asked to Hawker & Agency owner but they cann't satisfied to me.
How its happened.
Plz tell me the logical reason & Sir plz also inform the booking & Delivery Rules.

I am a indane customer with ID #22356 and having booked my refill cylinder in third week 0f May'08 and delivery was to have been recd before end of May'08 on checking for dely fresh regn had been again taken on 30-5-08 and delivery was to have effected on 1-6-08 delivery person had come to the premises and had gone undelivered and on chasing again in person on the delay by the distributor office had assured will be delivered on 4-6-08, did not know all this was to bill the customer on the revised price instead of the old price if had delivered promptly in time.

IT IS DISGUSTING TO UNDERSTAND THE INTENTION TO TAKE THE CUSTOMER ON A RIDE WHICH HE HAS TO GULP WITH HELPLESSNESS. BEING ENFORCED ON - WHAT IS THE CHECK ON SUCH EXCESSIVE ACTS AND WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SUCH SLOGANS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BEST AND ACHIEVING AWARDS AT FORUMS WHEN SUCH INCIDENTS MAKE US PONDER WHETHER TO LAUGH OR CRY ON SUCH HUMILIATION! FEEL, IOC OFFICIALS SHOULD TAKE SERIOUS NOTE ON CUSTOMERS LOSING TRUST IN THE FAIR SYSTEM OF DISTRIBUTION WHICH HAS SUCH REPERCUSSIONS.

CUSTOMER IS NEVER A KING BUT A SLAVE IS PROVED IN SUCH INSTANCES.

booked the cylinder 10 days back. gave them reminder three times already but no use .every time it is said today but in vain...my agency name is NATRAJ, YELAHANKA, BANGALORE 64.if possible take some action.

Agency : S.R.Agency, Gandhi Road, Kancheepuram

I am getting service from the above agency for last one year and earn very bad experience.
1) No one pick their phone at office hours
2) If we go in person for any purpose, we should wait min one hour. The phone in their table keep on calling but no one has worry about it.
3) I handed over my family card to them at the time of cylinder booking (two times) but still they are telling that you provide family card which is not entered in their system. Since we are employed, we can not go in person by carrying family card for cylinder booking every time.
4) Totally I am unhappy with their service. Hence please let me know the possibility to change the agency within Kancheepuram.

I am living in Mehidpur Dist. Ujjain. Me ek gas connection chahta hu par Mehidpur ka distributor kahta hai ki Gas connection chahiye to apko ek gas ka chulha lena compalsary he. our he said to me 4200 Rs. me I gas ki Tanki + Regulator + 1 gas ka chulha. I need what is the procedure for get a Connection.

i went your gas agency in sadar bazar jhansi to take new L P G HOME conection
they said that new conection has been stop for some days in jhansi they con not give conection they want more price(black) please provid me as soon as posible
one things more they can not give conection without purchasins gas stove i have alrady purchase
gas stove from market witch have ISI marks. so i dont need gas stove please provid me as soon as posible without gas stove

i am a resident of seohara (bijnor) of up . i went to seohara gas agency for a new connection but they said that the new connections are banned but petrolium minister says the new connections are opened both statements are contradicting each other.in this matter i wants to complaint higher authority please give or mail me adress & name of complaint authority of indane gas. i also demanded total consumer name & cnnection no. of home connection in cd through dso bijnor in rti but they does not reply

HI. I am Shahnawaz from Seohara of distt.Bijnor .I went to seohara gas agencyof indane Co. for a new connection but the manager says the new connection are banned .however petrolium minister says new connection are open.who is right?
Agency gives my uncle I.B.P. cylinder instead of indane now they are refused to take the empty cylinder back.

I want to book my gas by phone but nobody have picked my phone in Gandhi Nagar gas Service at Gandhi Nagar, Delhi. what can i do for this it is very irresponsible behavior by the employees of Indane gas agency.

I am komal customer of indane gas consumer no 10067 . I went in person to m/s jeet gas agency, karnal road, Indri, pin 132041 (haryana), for booking of DBC, but i was unethically denied by the owner of the gas agency and regarding this matter, i am approaching the said owner since last one year but neither my problem is shorted out nor i was guided properly regarding this.
So your good office intervention is required for the booking of DBC connection.

I also had the same experience from SANKAR GAS agency, Chevayoor. When I booked, they informed that the refill will be delivered after 20 days. After 25 days, when I rang them up, they informed me that it will take more than 30 days. They added that this also cannot be ensured.

I am residing at Puzhuthivakkam, chennai-91, My gas agency name Ranie E/p at madippakkam, chennai-61, Tamil Nadu. My customer no.37579. I am the customer for past 10 years in this agency 7 years back i changed my address nearby. Now they are
harasing me without change of address in ration card they will not supply gas. I applied for change of address & given acknowledgement to them one year back, still i am not geting
any reply from govt. But agency people dont care about govt delay. They are harrasing me to give ration card with new address.

Hi,
Recently i have received a gas from RAVEEN GAS SERVICE, from pitampura Delhi, they have delivered the same when we were ( me and my wife) not at home, but gas delivered with seal opened position. There is no any proper reply from the concern gas agency. That the delivery man is also forcefully doing & not at all giving any valid reason why the seal is opened. Also we have weighted but which less than 2kg as compare with normal filled gas. They are trying to cheating us, Kindly do the needful.

I'm Try landline number of this agency but all the time they have not response. Their Staff down the reciver phone set. That provides bad service their coustmers So I'm Change my Agency.

Sub : Delay/Non delivery of Gas Cylinder

I am one of the consumers of Indane Gas, bearing consumer no. SJ22861 refill the cylinder through Sahaj Enterprises, 256/3, Govind Puri, Kalkaji - 110 019.

In this respect, I would like to bring your notice that we are facing lot of problem in booking the gas. I have booked the cylinder before one week ago but till date I yet to deliver the same also they are not attending the telephone calls for whole day. When we go there, they say that telephone calls will be attended after 3 O'clock but practically they are not attending the calls for whole day. Due to this we are facing lot of problems also it is not possible for us to go there every time. Also they are not providing any booking no. Now it has become a serious issue.

Further, I request to kindly acknowledge my complaint and take it serious also please rectify the same.

I am a consumer of Jagjyoti Enterprises Delhi. Consumer No. JB-76548. Trying to book my cylinder for the last 10 days. No one picks up the given phone numbers there. Frustrating service.

we are also experincing the same month after month. it is unthinkable that being a double cylinder holder our kitchen is void of gas and we have to run outside to have our meal, expensive & unhealthy. but the higher authority is callous in this regard inspite of lodging complaints against the ditributor. unability to take any action against the dishonest and in a word, loothera, justifies the involvement of so called higher authority in this malpractices.

I have called many times to our indane gas agency named HARI SINGH GAS SERVICE situated at Nangloi but they never attend calls. one day when i said them that why don't you pick the calls they said, IT IS NOT OUR DUTY and they talked with us very rudely. my complaint is this HARI SINGH GAS SERVICE never give good service to their gas holders. i think they black gas cylinders. please take some action against them.

am doctor working abroad. my wife she is pregnant stays at hyderabad. MY mife and my self try to contact the Gas agency to book the Gas. But the phone always comes busy tone as if they keep the phone receiver aside(engaged) for more then a week during the office time -- 9:30am -5:30pm. I have no one in my family to go to office and book the Gas.
Am very much frustated and depressed about the act the indian gas agency worker are doing.
I dont know what should i do to book gas
kindly look in the matter and help me and my family
