ticket inspector characterless misbehavior
Compalint number 1.
To indian railway authority
It’s been very bad experience traveling in our own country were indian person wont respect indian.
The complaint is for the ticket inspector (fat, with mustache) I don’t remember the name as if I haven’t seen him wearing his uniform, he use to remove his uniform frequently.
He was in charge for the b2 compartment dated 15-sep-2011 train no: 17031/hyderabad exp. He got down at pune station
I am traveling with my wife, 3month baby, mother and my younger brother (my berth was 5, 6, 8 and 14.
The ti was so rude and don’t know how to speak with passengers using all slang and vulgar words, his intention was just to find some money out of passenger through any means I have seen he had taken money from people who were traveling in b2 with out proper tickets and making them berth taking money.
The argument started: I was sitting in my berth which was 8 and his berth was 7.
Ti (ticket inspector) to me: go to your berth.
Me: sir my berth is 8 I don’t want go upper birth I will be down.
Ti: if you won’t get up I will sit in your berth number 1.
Berth number 1 was were my wife was feeding my baby and ti was continually staring at her. Berth number 4 was were my mother sleeping
Me: why sir you will seat at berth 1, as your seeing my wife is there and feeding milk to my daughter.
Ti: so what? Berth no 1 it’s not your berth.
Me: I know it’s not my berth but the passenger over here will join in solapur mean while I can use it.
Ti: no you can’t use it; I will sit there and work.
Me: sir why you want to sit beside my wife. You sit at your seat itself and I will sit with my wife and you can work at your seat.
Ti: no I will seat there its self it is not your seat.
Me: my wife is there and she is sleeping with my baby and feeding her then also you need to sit beside my wife, what is your problem sir
Ti: don’t ask question that is not your berth.
Me: it’s not my berth but the passenger whose berth is there he will join us on solapur.
Ti: I will send some person here he will travel to solapur.
Me: I don’t know who you will be sending here but your ti you suppose to help passenger not to trouble them, this is not the way you should behave with us.
Ti: using slang language “abbey using vulgar word want you will do if I sit and work in your seat.
Me:I will complaint about you.
Ti: complaint about me, come I will take you to the complaint person you complaint, if you want to complaint to minister you can I am not afraid of any one also I will not leave you. I will see how you will travel to hyderabad and how your families reach there.
My family: ti please let my son go, I am sorry for that.
Ti: no I will call rpf and make your son arrest.
Me: sir rpf is for passenger and not for you, you call rpf, I will complaint about your behavior to him.
Ti: wait I will make you arrest with rpf and I will make you life miserable once he comes.
Ti: calls rpf and another ti and telling them, paseenger is not listening me and telling all false stories.
Me: I was not speaking because my family was not allowing me to speak my wife was crying and mother got afraid what will happen if this corrupt ti will do something, were we will go with 3month old baby, my mother made me to sit quite and she request we are sorry.
The other ti was a good person wearing spectacles; he told the corrupt ti to move away from here and let this family be here.
As I was quite the corrupt ti in front of all passengers telling I will not leave this boy.
This is what happens I have really cut short the incident happened and explained in brief
Why this character less and corrupt ti are making passenger to suffer and why this ti are not humble and good toward helping passenger toward safe journey.
I request railway authority to take some strict action on this type of corrupt and character less ti.
Other requests please take this complaint very seriously in future no family person gets embracing while traveling in train.
I request to keep my identity secret because I don’t want my family get trouble in future with this corrupt and characterless ti.

dirty and used bedroll in a/c coach
Purushottam Superfast Express (Train no. 12801) from Bhubaneswar to Gaya on 10.09.2011. We were initially given extremely dirty and used bedroll to which we objected and asked for clean bedrolls. But the attendant refused us saying he did not have any clean bedroll as all the sheets he had were of the same nature - dirty and used. So we asked him to give us the complaints book on the train so that we could register our complaint. He referred us to the TTE. We asked the TTE at Cuttack railway station for the complaint book and he told us he will give it in one hour's time but through the night he did not give us the complaint book though we were waiting for the complaint book. Then on 11.09.2011 we asked the next TTE for the complaint book and he too told us to wait and never gave us the complaint book. We would like to register a complaint regarding provision of dirty and used bedroll, misbehaviour by attendant of B2 A/C coach and deliberate avoidance by TTEs for giving us complaint book for registering our complaint regarding the dirty bedroll. We request that the matter be taken up urgently as it refers to basic and minimum passenger facilities on a long route train and it is our right to get clean bedroll since the Railways is taking the cost of the same from us in the train ticket fare. My seat number is B2 17 on this train.

most dangerous and killer duvvada railway station platform # 1
Sir,
Indian Railway Department is becoming worst day by day and it is purely a dirty organization in India. Day by Day passengers losing confidence in boarding trains from Duvvada Railway Station because many people are losing their lives in the Duvvada Railway Station due to the department's negligence of passengers safety. Recently my father(62Yrs) died due to the Duvvada platform's wrong construction and it is very low in height. Nobody is taking care to increase the height of the platform to the 1st step of the train. Presently it is touching 3rd step of the train. Please take action against our Indian Railways very severely. I have lost my father because of their negligence. We cannot bear such a huge loss to our family due to their negligent behaviour. Already 5 persons died in the same spot. My father was the 6th person in that station and same spot and same platform number 1 of Duvvada Railway Station. Today also one person(27Yrs) died on the same spot fell down from Janmabhoomi Express. My concern is Railways has to take personal interest immediately to increase the height of the Duvvada Platform No.1 to reduce further death incidents.

unauthorised passengers without legitimate ticket
The 3rd AC Coach in the Rajendranagar Banka Intercity express train no 13242 is occupied rampantly by the unauthorized passengers even in the presence of the TTE and the GRP. This is really very shocking; when passengers with regular reservation are made to sit at the behest of these idiots, who are nothing but nonsense to tolerate just due to the lackadaisical attitude of the incompetent and parasitic railway staff, who turn touts during the night, to very gleefully accommodate such passenger's requests at the lure of some money. The present incident is supposedly of 10th of July, 2011. Request all to initiate very stern action against such ineffective and incompetent staff members.
I totally agree. I had to go through the same harrowing experience yesterday, when I travelled via Mahanagri Express from Jabalpur to Mumbai. The TTEs were totally unhelpful, and busy in collecting their commissions from the people. We could hardly walk in the train, inspite of making the reservations. Whats the use of reservations, if this is how seats are allocated. When I asked the TC, why unauthorized people were allowed to enter the bogie, he replied "They are all waitlisted, where will they go!" Such a shocking reply ( I myself had seen a few tickets and they were all general tickets, not waitlisted ). And isn't it a rule that even waitlisted people cannot travel in reserved bogies, if their tickets are not confirmed. Thankfully, I was able to see the name of the first TC ( who was there from Jabalpur ) - 'Mr Geeta Prakash Tande' . I hope, stern action is taken against such corrupt officials, and i ll definitely to try all possible options for this complaint. Don't know what certain Ms Banerjee is doing.
train departed before scheduled time
I, along with my family (wife and daughter) and parents, was supposed to visit From Loharu (LHU) to Delhi Sarai Rohilla (DEE) on 1st July 2011. I had a confirmed ticket (Ticket no. [protected]) in 3-AC in train no. 14706. As every year the Indian Railways reschedule their train time-table, no departure time was printed on the ticket. Instead, instruction was given to get the rescheduled train time and I saw from the official website (www.indianrail.gov.in) that the departure time of the train has been rescheduled to 16:55 hrs from LHU (towards DEE) instead of its previous time 14:50 hrs. On the journey date (1st July) when we reached to LHU station at ~ 16:00 hrs, we came to know that the train has departed as per previous time-table (14:50 hrs). There were many more other so-called computer-literate and illiterate passangers, who faced this terrible situation because there was no other train available from LHU to reach to Delhi. As we had to reach to Delhi by any means by the night, we had to cancel the ticket in hurry (I just received half price as per computer instruction. I had to accept it because there was no time to waste for this arguement.) and had to arrange some other costly alternative, particularly because of my family, aged parents with baggages. I want to bring this to notice the concerned authorities, so that the concerned persons associated for this irresponsible work can be so-caused/ suspended/punished with a guarantee that this will not happen in future and no more passangers will face this type of horrible situation.

I would like to inform that I undersigned travelled with my family members from Manmad JN. to New Delhi on 6th July2011. The information of which is described below:

Total passenger --- 09 Nos.
It is reported that I ordered the train’s pantry staff vendor for providing 09 veg. meals. I was thereby provided 09 veg. meals(THALI) without curd and lesser quantity of food as per scale. Not even that they demanded me Rs 540/- at the cost of Rs 60/= each, instead of Rs, 32/= which was Rs 28/- more as per Rate list fixed by railway authorities. When we asked the Pantry Car Manager Mr.Akhlesh kumar Pandey ) about more charging of meal he replied that they are supplying mix veg. chole paneer instead of Aloo-Tamater in veg meal(THALI), but, the fact was that I didn’t told for any changed menu . Before supply the meals we demand the menu & Price list from Vender Shalender tomer but he refused for the same .I asked other passengers and found that everybody was overcharged and thus cheated.
It means the train pantry staff was cheating all the passengers in huge manner by increasing prices of meal and supplying less quantity of food of substandard quality.i.e. A group of 05 passenger those PNR NO. [protected] From MMR To Faridabad were also cheated by the pantry staff they charged Rs, 300/= for 05 no. of veg. meals Bill no.3847 dt 6/7/11 Such kind of cheating should be stopped immediately and culprits must be punished.
The train’s pantry staff manager ( Mr. Pandey ) also argued with me in very rude manner when I DEMAND for complaint Book then he refused and told us that I have no any complaint Book. Please take necessary action against him for prestigious image of INDIAN RAILWAYS.

I booked my railway ticket for my mother as sr. Citizen from ltt to salem jn. Vide pnr no. [protected] under train no. 1013 for date of journey on 15.4.2008. I booked well in advance on 4.3.2008 i.E. After announce ment of railway budget thereby my mother was entitled for 50% rebate instead of
30 % rebate. There is a Aqua guard cooler cum purifier in the office of the under signed & the same is lying defective since long. After much of chasing up a service representative has visited last week & inspected the plant, reported the water drum to be changed. Accordingly it was requested to give necessary estimate, photo copy of authorisation for service center at Visakhapatnam since becoming a Govt. concern & Invoice to prefer advance cheque . There is nerrow gauge station in Jabalpur(MP) known as Howbagh.i was going for my home last month with a gift (Refrigerator) from Jabalpur to Bargi by narrow gauge for my parents, so i chose Howbagh to go from Jabalpur with my gift(Refrigerator).
When i saw there in howbagh, , no body was ready to book my refrigerator, , i ask them what i need to do for it, , , then after 30 minutes one clerk of (was gossiping with Ticket counter person) Booking office said me that" we r busy this time, You come after the train, ", but i was going by that train only (Train name is 4BJ)actully they wanted to have extra 100 rs then charges, one person cleared me this when train was suppose to go, , but i said i will not pay a single penny to them, , and i stayed that night at Jabalpur, and then next morning, i booked it from Local Transport services.
I hope you can understand the problem i faced, , and these people are doing it regulerly, , , they abuse people, , insult them, , and do whatever they want to do..please do something to control them.there are so many people who have suffered this, , this is not only my problem, , , there r several cases happen daily.

sir, I travelled many times from delhi to allahabad, and almost every time I have seen openly black ticketing at new delhi and delhi stations, when we go to counter for ticket, they reply that no ticket is available and just nearby standing dalal can make tickets within few seconds at 3 or 4 times of the original cost, we have to pay for it because no legal way of finding the tickets left, while doing online eservation in tatkal scheme, within 5 min . all trains start showing regret .many time I talked to dalal regarding this issue that how they can openly black tickets if a police station is existing in railway stations and how they can make tickets if no availability is showing online and counter also, they reply that we have to pay for it to officers.

i am working in Jansansar & ut news at Daman, Daily travelling by Local from Valsad to Vapi By local and Gandhudham( Kutch Express ) on 19 th December of Sunday, when I was boarding at train in last Compartment of local which was coming at Valsad at 9:12 am in the morning, the vada pav sellers try to push me so that I slap him then he was try to bit me use some bad words like galis, then he thrown his vada pav thali and demanding Rs.150/- for damage of his vada, but i have refuse him, then again he try to bit me, so that my freind have given him the money, after that we find out that boy at which stall he was working the stall no.was 15 at platform no.2 of Valsad st. . his owner told me that I will give you money back but he did not refund, and again that boy was try to abuse some bad words, The railway authority should stop this nonsence and should appose to cell in compartment, they should not allow this to cell inside the train
Dear sir, i had booked a ticket from ANVT to ALD(PNR-[protected] by train no 2818 dt 23/8/10.this train was delayed by more than 6 hours.Its actual dept.time was 19:50 whereas it left ANVT 2:30am on 24/8/10.
On arriving the ANVT to cancel my reservation on 24th/8 morning at 9 am, booking staff refused to cancell it and advised to come after 5 days and get 50%fare for non boarding the train.
Then i approached DY.SS of ANVT station M r OM KUMAR and even he could not get a solution AND THEN I LODGED A COMPLAINT ON COMPLIANT REGISTOR WITH DY SS. AND COMPLAINT NO. IS 006 DT 24/8/2010.
YOU ARE REQUESTED TO TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO GET ME THE FULL REFUND OF RS 548.AS A CUSTOMER I FEEL THAT IT IS A CHEATING OF A LARGE GOVT. ORGANISATION AND APATHY TOWARDS CUSTOMERS .WHY SHOULD A CUSTOMER SUFFER FOR THE MISTAKE HE NEVER DID.
According to raiways rule if a train is delayed more than 3 hours customers get full refund of ammount.

The Sawari Train (Solapur Pune Passenger) running between Solapur to Pune station is running late by 2 - 3 hours regularly from last 2 - 3 months & when we ask reason to the station authority the told us that we have to write an complaint at solapur station (DRM) office. They didn't provide us the complaint and suggestion register to write the complaint.

Iam a regular pasenger of malabar express from karunagapallly to kazhakootttam.After malabar express there is only a passenger at 3.0 pm which stops at kazhakotttam..But in kazhakoootam railway station there is season ticket available only after 10.am..Malabar reaching at kazhakoootttam at 8.30 or 8.45 and passengers have to wait till 10.am to take seaason ticket .Today since tehre is no passenger
for taking tickets, they are refused to give season ticket...They asked to wait till 10 'o' clock...Remember there is no trains after malabar upto 3'o' clock...Please kindly make arrrangements for changing this season timings.
Status shown online for wait listed ticket does not change for many days. e.g. WL1/WL2 was the status for over a Month.
Tickets get confirmed last moment by the time passengers get frustreted & make alternate travel arrangements.
Passenger has to cancel wait list or confirmed ticket since he cannot predict due to status is not regularly up dated.
Seems there are some vested interests of agents or staff to keep such system.

Pnr number [protected], 29 jun 2011, onboard 18238 chattisgarh express, jalundhar city to hazrat nizamuddin, ac 1st class, coupe "c". ordered for food. waiter came & served the food. then asked where are you going. I asked why? replied 'paise lene hain'. I said okay. came back again & asked the same question. I said why are you asking. again the same reply. I said 'abhi' thodi der main le jana". after I had finished he came again, & picked up the tray. I asked how much to pay. waiter replied -"jitne dene ho de do". I asked what do you mean?. he said - seva ki hai. I then curtly asked"how much" and what do you mean by what you said. on this he said 80 rupees. I paid. thereafter I said please call your manager. he said sorry galti ho gayi. I said this is not galti, your intentions were wrong & I will complain. on this he started touching my feed. I then called for the coach attendant, who then went to look for the manager / incharge but no one came till next one hour ie 10.10 pm. I then went off to sleep. my e mail - [protected]@yahoo.com.

i lost my mobile phone in pick pocketing at "Madwadih Station" the time of the incident was 2.00 am when a boy come on plateform an take my mobile form my pocket through window. The train name was Swantrata swanani Exp. Boarded from Darbhanga jn to Delhi. and traveling date was 7th of june 2011 . When i told about this incident to the railway police who was in train, they reacted very rudely and told me" TUM BACH GAYE NA, ANKH NAAK KAAN KHULA RAKHO" . I was shocked . I was travelling though kaifiyat (12225) from azamgarh to delhi on dated 27.04.11 in b2 couch seat no 03 my ticket pnr no [protected]
While travelling I faced many types of problems listed below-
1- no soap liquid in soap container in toilet
2- water leaking from the floor of toilet
3- dirty seat of compartment
4- curtains were absent in compartments
5- towel was not provided by attendent inspite of demand & reminder
I query for all above to the attendent but he misbehave and casually said that this is always happening in this train.
I am sending you this mail in the hope of some good change for the facilities provided by railway to the passengers for which they pay to railway and not merely the assurance to the passengers by the railway.

Sub: complaint against two reservations in one seat and absence of t. t. e.in sabarmati express, train no.19168 dated 27/04/2011.
I have booked three tickets to travel with my family from cnb to adi vide pnr no.[protected] on 12.04.2011 departure date 27.04.2011 by sabarmati express (19168) and all the three berths were in wait list 6/7/8. on traveling date one berth was confirmed in s-5/24 and remaining two were in rac s-4/15 as per detail shown in reservation chart as well as communication received on mobile.
While journey, I found that the same berth was allotted to ‘mr. mahesh pandey’ from lko to brc on 26/04/2011 vide pnr no.[protected] according to ticket. I tried to search the tte in all coaches of the said train but no one was found till ujjain. therefore, my family and I were suffered instead of safar till ujjain junction. thereafter one tte examined both ticket and told that how comes it happen, I don’t know but he allotted me the same berth and transfer him to another berth.
The slogan may deem fit for this type of arrangement for passenger:
“mamta ki rail or rail ki mamta – seat eak aur do ki satta”
Sir, this happen gives my family painful journey and me because no one tte was available while journey. so many questions arise about this happen.
1. why has not checked the train by tte?
2. where tte was?
3. do tte staffs avoid checking the sabarmati express?
4. tte was sleeping elsewhere.
5. tte was absent without or with information.
6. tte has left the train after making his attendance.
7. tte has left the train after signing the chart.
You are requested to kindly expedite the matter to solve the problem.
Sir, few photographs are also attached herewith for your kind information, which are showing the story itself that the vendor is making the tea by using the water from toilet tab in western railway with electric rod. is it hygiene or not? any one can assume.
Hope you will take up the matter seriously to avoid suffering and serious sickness of passenger, while journey in future.

ARA is an important junction of eastern central railways in aspect of everyfield. Good amount of revenue is produced by ara railway station.passengers volume is always high at ARA railway station. but ARA is always cheated by rail officials of ECR. Lack of facilities at station complex is there. many trains don, t stop at ARA like patna secundrabad, patna indore, haridwar exp and so many are there. These trains connect important places of study and proffession where thosands of people of ARA stay.non stoppage of trains cause great difficulties. I want to ask railways if Good revenue and high population city is not criteria of stoppage of trains then what is the criteria. This is cheating to people of ARA.

I had complained to Railway Board, Railway Minister and IRCTC regarding harrassment by TTE. Except for IRCTC customer care, no-one responded. I am started to wonder if the entire railway board is spineless with no bones to take strict action or probably they are also part of this.

Dear all,
Further to my email, since no action from your side is visible so far, I am highly disappointed by your callous attitude. We checked with Sanjay further events that transpired that and and found that TTE told them that on this ticket that only two of them can travel as the third one did not have any identify proof.
And TTE sold the third ticket to a lady for Rs. 1500. The passengers on this ticket had to accomodate themselves in 2 seats available. I am shocked to see such irregularities in Indian Railways and TTE taking under-educated passengers for a ride.

Dear all,
I had booked e-tickets for Sanjay Kumar, Umesh Yadav and Sushil Yadav on Tatkal Quota for travel on Train Number 12626 Kerala Express from New Delhi to Palakkad for date 22 March 2011 and I had received confirmed PNR [protected]. The details of the ticket are attached in the mail trail below.
As required for eTicket, I had taken the printout and provided it to Sanjay Kumar for their travel today. They boarded the train today morning from New Delhi and when the TTE came, they presented the ticket along with Sanjay Kumar's Voter ID card. The TTE started to ask for Photo-ID proof of other two passengers as well and told them that if they fail to present he would disembark them from the train in Mathura. They provided him Photo-ID proof of other passenger as well but he consistently threatened them and eventually Sanjay had to call my mother and have her speak with the TTE.
When my mother asked his name, which he did not tell; and told him that we had booked the ticket as they are travailing to our house in Kerala for work and why he is bothering them as they have presented the ticket and provided him the necessary proof, he said nothing and let them go.
As I understand and quoting what is mentioned in eTicket -- "One of the passenger booked on an E-ticket is required to present any of the identity cards noted below in original during the train journey and same will be accepted as a proof of identity failing which all the passengers will be treated as travelling without ticket and shall be dealt as per extant Railway Rules. Valid Ids:- Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt /Student Identity Card with photograph issued by recognized School or College for their students /Nationalised Bank Passbook with photograph /Credit Cards issued by Banks with laminated photograph."
This is not the first time it is happening, on two previous occassions as well this has happened on Kerala Express, once in North Division and once in South Central Division. Each time we have to intervene or the fellow passengers help to resolve issue. Probably, they may go through this issue once again tomorrow morning when they reach SCR Division and TTE harassing them once again.
I did not complain on earlier occasions but now I feel it was my mistake. It has become a routine feature of TTEs harassing under-educated passengers with eTickets to extort money. If you expect the person booking the ticket to travel along, kindly mention it so in the eTicket. I'll make a point to accompany them and ensure that TTE do not take advantage of situation.
It is a free country and everyone has right to use technology, if TTE expects under-educated passengers to use only "Printed Ticket", probably it is time that they need education. Instead of Indian Railways becoming modern, it is degrading day-by-day. I would suggest all of you to travel as an average passenger in these trains and understand the plight that an average Indian Railway consumer face.

I just want to tell you about the development of Prayag Ghat Railway Coach Terminal situated at Daraganj, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.Development of this railway station is very slow. Last date of completion of this Project is January.2013.but according to its present situation it seems that it cannot complete within 1.5 yrs.So the main thing is that as soon as possible start this terminal project.
If you want to save this Railway property and government money as soon as possible start this project.
At this time this railway station is in very bad condition.Its like useless property.
So as soon as possible take the relevant actions.And kindly inform me.

what a shame, I'm living my youth in a country where government, bureaucracy and people all are equally participating in corruption. Wonder, what would Jan Lokpal bill do, when our moral and ethical standards have been brought down to such levels that whatever wrong we see is so, but whatever wrong we do is right !
Inappropriate collection of parking fees at Villivakkam Railway Station
Recently there was a tender raised and a new contractor has taken over the Parking license for Villivakkam Railway Station. Tender notice was published in the newspaper stating that for parking Rs. 4 on a daily basis and Rs. 100 for a monthly basis for two-wheeler parking and Rs.2 for cycle. However they are collecting Rs. 5 on a daily basis and Rs. 120 for a monthly basis for two-wheelers and Rs.3 for cycle. Even the tokens that they provide has the amount prescribed as in tender. When verified with them they were rude in replying and said that they would collect like this only.

The railway track from Chennai to "Nagapatnam" has been under construction for more than two years. Lots of people travel to "Velankanny Shrine" everyday and now find difficult to travel with small kids by bus. May I know when will the railway ministrycopen the route and operate trains to "Vailankanny".

Dear Sir,
I along with my brother and sister-in-law came to Bharat Nagar MMTS station, for travelling of my brother and sister-i-law to Lingampalli. As they both were new comers to Hyderabad city, I came to drop them in Bharat Nagar MMTS and waits until the Lingampalli MMTS arrived by 7:40AM. They both had the tickets and entered in the MMTS. while I was returning from station TC asked me the ticket as I have the platform ticket also. He suspected me that the time for the ticket is completed and asked to show ticket in the name of BharatNagar. He tried to evade himself by asking me to produce Identity proof which I produced. He absused me and threatned me to pay an amount of 520.00 as an excess fare ticket, fare 20.00 with fine of 500.00 even after having confirmed and valid ticket. In the Extra fare receipt Q 0785002 he mentioned as number of passengers as 2, though I'm only at platform.
When I asked Ticket collector to furnish his details, he refused and importantly he was drunk on duty and without name badge.
I want some serious action to be taken on such employees who are hindering the reputation of the whole railway department. Please punish such nasty fellows who are behaving against their rules with drunk in duty and looting money from people without proper reason. I hope I will get justification by this complaint.

non displaying of coach numbers
Dear Sir,
I travellrd by train No.& Name:18238/Chhattisgarh Exp.# on 30.3.11 from Bhopal to Bilaspur. I boarded from Habibganj Railway station. My PNR No.:[protected] with transaction Id:[protected]. I faced real problem in Habibganj Station, Bhopal. There was no display of coach details in the station. The train came on the No.4 platform. I came without asking the position of A1 coach. Then was waiting for display of coaching. But perhaps they forgot upto last moment. When the train was entering the station, on that moment they started announcing the position of the coach and it was a real mess in the station . All the pssengers started running here and there as the stoppage was just for two minutes. When the train entered the station then only they dislplayed the coach numbers. It is a request to look after such incidents.So that the passengers do not suffer.

disabled reservation
The 04 seats in the train coach next to guard are reserved for disabled persons. But usually they are occupied by other fit people. Even guards do not stop them. Can railways deploy a police person in that coach who can take care of it so that the disabled are not deprived of their rights. The police person must be honest enough that he doesn't accept 10 rs as bribe and sell the seat.. Thanks.

delay in gaudge conversion between gonda via naugarh to anand nagar rail route
I would like to pay attention for Indian Railways and North Eastern Railways -Gorakhpur officials regarding gaudge conversion between Gonda and Annand Nagar via Naugarh, Barhni. Since Trains are running between Gonda & Annand Nagar Only, We commuters are facing lot of problem during Train Change at Anand Nager Speciaaly for Old Aged, Ladies & Patients.
Another issue is Trains Between Gonda and Anand Ngr are Very less as compared to Year 2007-08. At this route Huge no of Population are living in mumbai/Delhi/Banglore and other parts. They are really facing a lot of problems during train change at Gonda (Frequncy is very very less) and two Train Changes at Gorakhpur & Anand Nagar.. For Exmple If I want to Travel 73 KM from Gorakhpur to Naugarh, It takes almost 5 to 6 Hrs to reach after change one Train in at Anand nagar. My Humble Request to all Railway Officials either speedup the process for Gaudge conversion between Gonda & Anand Nagar or Increase in Train frequency between Gonda & Anand Nagar...

poor service and indecent behaviour in tvc rajadhani (12432)
I am thoroughly dissapointed by the indecent behaviour and poor service of the railway staff's inside Rajadhani Express (12432) scheduled from Nizamuddin on 22 Dec 2010. This train was delayed by 7.5 hours and reached Mangalore (from where I boarded) at 01:15 AM on 24th Dec 2010. Following are the few incidents I would like to bring to your kind notice,
1. Train delayed by 7.5 hrs both at source (Mangalore) and destination (Trivandrum) causing us to miss the connecting train from Trivandrum to Kanyakumari on 24th Dec morning.
2. No proper Food and Water supplied in the train through out the journey. On requesting for Breakfast on 24th Dec morning, we were given harsh response by both the waiter and the bed roll supplier.
3. Bed rolls were not provided at the time of boarding. The berth's (A1-3, A4 - 7, 9) was occupied by other passengers while I and my family boarded the train in the mid night at 01:15 AM.
4. On repeatedly requesting for Bed rolls, the person in charge provided us with "used" bed rolls which was disgusting.
I have filed a TDR (for PNR # [protected]) for the delay which has caused severe loss to me and my family in terms of covenience, moral and money matters. I request you to kindly do the needful with the Refund amount and also request you to take such matters seriously in order to keep the reputation of India's premium train - Rajadhani Express.

late arrival of trains
dear sir,
i want to lodge a complaint on indian railways because of the late arrival of trains.
1.i am waiting for the secunderabad patna express on november 14, 2010 at patna junction(train no:2791) from 7.10 pm, its right time till 12 pm.
2.this is the second time i have been waiting...always the train comes late.there is no response in the station managers room at patna.perhaps the person most of the time will not be in his seat.
3.the additional superindent (commercial) is not responding properly. there is no complaint sheet available at the station.
4.the train was stopped for 4 hours in nearby stations eg.danapur...no sorry annoucements.
5.this is not we expect
misbehaviour and taking of bribe of tc
sir, i wish to lodge a complain against a tc/ booking clerk and dy. station manager of Gaya jn. (e.c.r.) i travelled from gaya to Howrah by train no. 3010 on 02.10.2010 vide ticket no. E [protected] and E.F.T. no. B577023. this ticket was issued by the TC/Booking clerk after demanding a bribe of Rs. 200/- which i had to give after all my protest failed. i went to Dy. Station manager to file a complain against the said corrupt booking clerk but to my utter dismay the dy. station manager of gaya jn. rudely rebuked me saying that the complain book is finished and he has no fresh copy of complain book and if i persist i shall not be able to purchase any ticket from the current booking counter. it is very shocking that a senior official of the largest railway network in the world could behave in such an appalling manner and disgusting behaviour.
you are hereby requested to please look into this matter at the earliest and take appropriate action against the officials to redeem the image of Indian Railways.
The Hon'ble Railway minister is also requested to please take this complain into her consideration and do the necessary action as she deems fit.

You shouldn't criticize all the TT's coz there are people who do good to others.. There is an incident which happen to me couple of week back. Iam 72 years old man, often travell from coimbatore to chennai. During one of my travell to chennai (14th may 2011 cheran exp) my ticket was not confirm and it was in waitinglist. Soon i met a young TTE in the platform and requiested for the conformation. But he told it was very rush that day and least posibile to get a seat. On my requiest he made me to sit in his seat and told that he will try his best to give a seat. He got back after two hours letting me know that there was
know single seat available.
It was 01.00 A.M now, i was so panick, i begged TTE for not to get me out of the train, the TTE was found to be very liberal and he told that i can share his seat, i was so happy. We had been talking till 04.00 A.M and came to know that he belong to kerala. After that he arranged seat for me.It became a memmorable journey in my life.
According to me he was such a nice person who considered my age and provided me seat.
