Train
New Jersey Transit trains are not running between Western New Jersey and New York along the Morrison Essex line or Montclair boonton lines properly. For some reason overhead lines are in desperate need of rehabbing and due to a failure to maintain they have to be done during the busiest time of the commuter season inconveniencing thousands upon thousands of commuters. No approximate date for service resumption can be provided.
Claimed loss: I may very well lose my job
Desired outcome: Please provide the mediocre service that we require. Not like we're asking for excellence.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While NJ Transit has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 7% of 528 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- NJ Transit protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
The 890 route in Phillipsburg, NJ
I live in the area of the 890 run and it hasn't been running. I saw one of the drivers for the 891 route and was informed that the busses were in Newark, NJ, they had been fixed and the company wouldn't send anyone to pick them up because they were expecting new busses to be delivered. Is this how the people riding on the 890 route are going to be treated. I went through this before and I expect to be compensated for my expenses of having to pay a cab. I am a 61year old female and never thought I would be treated like a stupid passenger
Claimed loss: Expenses of having to get cabs after waiting for the bus outside not knowing what was, going on till weeks later.
Desired outcome: A refund for my expenses. At least $60 for rides to and from my destination.
I saw the 890 bus once in about 10 days. It could be more but I highly doubt it. The stop is the corner of Wilbur and Congress. I live on Mill Street which is in the direct route of said stop. It goes right by my house. Please insult my intelligence by saying it did, look at the camera onthe number of the bus, for example 103,104,105,106. Thank you

Dear Sirs,

I submitted the my POA document on 8/18/23 to Benefits Department who then forwarded it to the legal department for review. I have been waiting over 38 days for to get a question answered regarding his life insurance. I cannot understand that it takes this long to get a question answered about life insurance. I would appreciate getting this expedited and resolved on behalf of Gerard Loser. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Who is the Beneficiary for Gerard Loser's NJ Transit Retirement Life Insurance Policy? As POA, I have a right to know.

The white shirts at the secaucus train station are not able to help you
September13,2023 Today all I wanted was information at the gate about the train they could not give me information instead they directed me to a customer service girl in a booth that had never been there before. She looked very unapproachable. It would be great if they had more information at the gates for you. It saves us customers a lot of stress.
Desired outcome: The customer service gate agents at Secaucus should be able to be more helpful to customer.
Train delays
The absolute worst. Even if you wake up earlier on a morning and you want to make it to work on time, the transit will ensure you reach late because of some delay. Three times in a row for the week is absolutely ridiculous! They’ll have you stopped on the track for 10 minutes waiting to get to New York like Jesus Christ! You can guarantee to miss your flight with these people
Desired outcome: FIX YOUR TUNNELS AND YOUR TRACKS if that seems to be the problem everytime !
Rail access
On Thursday last week, I was taking the 2:25PM Train out of Newark and going to Metro Park. The train use the low platform at the south end of station. Where you have to de-board using the stairs on the train and step down to the lower platform and ten step down two stairs with no railing or help. It was difficult time go down the two wooden stairs with no handrail or help. I'm handicap in both knees and having tenderest. NJT should help me so I would not fall. Track 4 was out of service.

Lindenwold station
Good afternoon, My husband and I went to the Lindenwold station to take the train to Atlantic City. The inside was closed so we had to walk around and take the tunnel to the train. Once we got up there we noticed a horrible smell. There were people inside the shelter with trash surrounding them. There were used needles and trash all over. We stood at the end far away from the people in the shelter when a woman came out of the shelter and walked passed us. She pulled down her pants and deficated behind the ticket machine. Once we arrived back from AC there were new people in the shelter shooting up. When we got downstairs there was a transit cop talking to random people but didn’t bother to go upstairs. We will never go back to that station as it’s disgusting and dangerous. Something needs to be done.
Desired outcome: Clean up and monitor the rail
Conductor disrespect and failure to provide a pleasant riding experience.
On Saturday, June 10, I was in the first car of Train 7836 that left Princeton Junction at 1:10 pm. At roughly Metropark, after having politely asked two very boistrous young women (ladies do not behave life that) and a couple to quiet down or speak softly, I asked the conductor if he would ask them to do so. He replied "This is not a quiet car." I, of course, replied that I knew it was not a quiet car. He said nothing further.
The same day, June 10, left NY Penn on Train 7875 at 8:55 pm en route to Princeton Junction. Opposite me were three loud women, each of whom put her feet on the seats. I asked the conductor if he was enforcing the rule about no feet on the seats. He said "If I did that I would be busy all night."
NJT signs say that employees strive to assure a pleasant ride. Neither conductor did nothing! Shame on you for tolerating such behavior.
Desired outcome: Enforce the rules!
553 bus driver (older Caucasian lady, short and a bit heavyset)
Time 8:30am
5/25/23
Bus 553
Boarded at Hamilton mall
I am devastated, I can’t believe these bus drivers get away with this stuff. The lady passed my stop after I signaled the button and I told her she did but she proceeded to not let me off the bus. I work long overnight shifts I was tired and she made me walk 3/4 miles home, she was very rude and even made hateful comments on God as she says she is the devil. Somebody help me please I will be catching this bus everyday for work please help 🙏🏼🙏🏼 she can’t get away with this.
Desired outcome: She doesn’t deserve to work this job please watch the camera she a very bad person.I don’t want to deal with this everyday after work I already have my own problems to then be picked on by a bus driver everyday
Raritan Valley Line 11:38 pm Train
I'm complaining about the weekend 11:38 pm RVL train. I left 15 minutes early from work so I could take the 11:01 pm PATH train to the station. It was held up and I ended up at the station at around 11:40pm and the 11:38 train wasn't there. There have been multiple times the train was held back for other connecting trains, but why not for this one? There was an instance the train was held back for over 30 minutes, but it couldn't be held back for even 2? Because of that, I am to arrive home over 2 hours late.
Desired outcome: Better communication between connecting trains
Port Authority Terminal NJ tickets Both
Hi,
I want to fill a complain about an respect and rude customer services when I bought my ticket from Port Authority to NJ ( 139 bust Old Bride stop ) .
I was at 1pm at the bus station terminal and the man who was working in the middle of the three stations ( it was three offices ) was very an respectful and rude also he let me trying to explain my destination and he went to fill his cup of water when I was talking with him. I went to the next both and another nice officer help me to get my ticket.
I want to writhe this complain because he was laughing as well and I felt so embarrassed.
I asked him for his name or number authorization but he laughed and didn’t want to gime me this information and said just to to the bus you are going to loose it ( in between laughing).
Just want to let you know this issue because was very rude behavior for a person who work with customers.
I don’t used to write complains but I think I have to do it in case so I won’t happen again.
*The issue was on Sunday 26th 2023 at 1pm.
It was three NJ Both at this time and it happened in the one that was in the middle. The officer didn’t wan to give me his number or authorization number.
Disrespectful employee/employer
So on a 71 bus leaving Newark Penn Station there was a islander brown skinned driver(employee/employer) whose bus ID was 6264 that held me on the bus for 2 stops after my stop PURPOSELY after I told Him that My destination was at the zone change and that I wanted a transfer. I paid immediately And He DISRESPECTFULLY ignored me and had me standing for several stops in the other passengers way. He did that so He wouldn't have to give me the transfer. That was inconsiderate and rude and needs to be checked. This was in between 11AM to 12PM 3/3/2023
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and a apology
NJ Transit Train
It is 5:45pm on a weekday, and I have to wait 20 MINUTES FOR A TRAIN TO MANHATTAN. 20 MINUTES. In what Bizarro World does this make ANY sense?! When I decided to take the train from Rutherford, the schedule showed a transfer at 5:26, boarding the NJCL at 5:30, getting to Penn at 5:46. Guess what happened? No one communicated with each other, because my Bergen Line train pulled into Secaucus at 5:30! I missed the connection, all because you people have never heard of a radio. I don’t want to hear any excuse about “train traffic” either, because at 5:40, and 5:52, TWO NJT trains blew past us, on the track to New York. Could have stopped. But didn’t.
Desired outcome: Increase service to NYC, in both directions on weekdays! And learn to talk to one another!
The 350 bus at pen station
Good afternoon I was at pen station waiting for the 350 bus to go to work at FedEx and the bus never came that is not right we have to go to work and this never came. It does this all the time it is always late it never comes on time. You need to do something with these bus driver if they don't want to work then let them go. Now I am late for work that is not right do something. Thank you very much.
Desired outcome: Had to get on other bus late for work
192 at 9am on jan 15 sunday
Bus driver was asked by me if he knew how to get me to Costco at Clifton commons left me on the other side the highway where it was dangerous for me to cross was almost late for work bus driver should be addressed about this fired and investigated plus felt maybe him raciest against me leave me there that way where it was almost impossible for me to get to work also knowing he could've left me somewhere closer to Costco on Clifton this driver old black male and think maybe slow should be fired for kinda playing a joke of humiliation on me this definitely unfair and not safe transportation on drivers part maybe I could've got hit by a car.
Desired outcome: would like bus driver fired or a new driver hired money back refund explanation with no lieing i think he did this on purpose to trick me
