I had a rep come to my house as a door to door sale type thing
I had a rep come to my house as a door to door sale type thing. I was busy making dinner but allowed him in to pitch the product to me. He said it was for a one time service that normally is 250$ and was discounted right now to 50$ for the first service. This seemed like a good deal so i agreed and he asked me for my information and gen'd up the paperwork. I quickly washed my hands and signed the document. My fatal error was not reading what i signed, despite what the rep said what i signed up for was an obligated 12 months of service. I should've read what i was signing but i was busy and i trusted the sales rep that he was being honest. After contacting Insight about it i was initially told i would have to pay 300$ to cancel my service. After explaining how this was scummy because i was bamboozled by the sales rep they said they could bring it down to 200$. I offered to pay the difference between a normal service and what i paid, which wouldve been 70$ but i was declined.
Be weary of their sales rep. Seems like all they care about is commission and the business must know it im sure im not the only person with this experience.

One of their sales guy came - very friendly, but told me that everything we requested would be in notes and that if we were unhappy for any reason they would cancel our service no question ask. The first guy came out and I met with him to go over everything. Biggest thing ants around the house we told him we have dogs and animal life so please just were the active ant nest are. Everything goes good then the next service my wife see a guy spraying chemicals all over our front yard, around the trees. As she's yelling at him through the window to stop he starts to proceed to argue back saying the chemicals are safe for animals! Not what the first two guys told us as we were told to keep our dogs in for a few hours after they treat the yard. Called to cancel the service and now I have a cancellation fee of over $200 dollars which basically is the cost of the whole year treatment. The operator that I spoke to said its probably cause the guy is new and they will send out a more qualified train tech. Well that just makes me even more upset knowing they are sending out guys that are not properly trained. Very Very upset with this service!
came to our house today and was super friendly, helpful and professional. He gladly walked me through each step of what he was doing and answered any questions I had. *** (not sure on spelling), who answered my call was also as helpful as could be and was a pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much!
Always great service and they got rid of our problem. the people that do the service are always polite and do a great job. I have recommended them to my friends.
The sales man knocked on the door and Offered Us a discount to spray our house for pest and clean up for $89
The sales man knocked on the door and Offered Us a discount to spray our house for pest and clean up for $89. They were in the neighborhood at a neighbors house. We agree to sign up for this one time service and were never told that this is a service that is reoccurring and that we would be bound by contract to have the reoccurring services. We have one camera on the outside of our home as well as a ring doorbell with this sales man on candid camera being very deceptive. If we provided this to our local news then I suspect this company Would experience a ton of bad press. As we have received the agreement by email and had a chance to go over it in more detail without the salesman fast talking us we now see that we are still within the opportunity to cancel this service which we are doing immediately. Buyer beware this is a reoccurring service and the salesman are very very very very verySneaky and cunning and the way they attempt to sell this product to you. You will think that you're just signing a basic term and conditions but instead you are signing an annual contract locking yourself in to all types of fees in future services. You're on candid camera and I won't hesitate to put this on YouTube
Every person we have interacted with have been wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions we had.
who has always serviced us is such a personable young man. Always willing to answer questions, explain everything and so knowledgeable.
I met with *** today at my home as well as my daughters property. He is very knowledgeable and informative. Explained every very clear and concise. I learned a lot in a short amount of time. A true gentleman who clearly puts the customer first. Thank you ***. Hopefully I will see you in the future.
is a salesman for Insight Pest Control who is going door to door in Kaukauna, WI. His sales pitch is a special for $59 every 4 months for $236.00 for the year. They sprayed in July when we signed up, then charged $59 for August and September without any services rendered. We called the company and they claimed we signed a contract (small print on ***), for a total of $720.00 per year. We checked with our city hall and they did not take out a permit which, I believe, is a violation of our city rules. They have 249 BB complaints and pray on elderly people. Do not utilize this company!
First of all
First of all. The guy who came to my house to offer the service told us the appointment was at 11am. Which means, they would be there at 11am. Not show up at 11:57. When I called the home-office, they advised me that the scheduled time was between 11 and 12. I was not told that there was a one hour window for appointments. When I am told 11am, it means they will show up at 11am. If they don't plan on showing up at that time, common courtesy would be to call and let the person paying know what is going on. The lady finally showed up at 11:57, didn't get out of the vehicle until 12:00 and was gone by 12:15. Please tell me how you can granulate almost half an acre, spray the foundation of a 1500 sqft house, and clean/spray all of the eaves? Oh wait, you can't. Luckily my home security system showed that this lady didn't even complete over HALF of my yard, much less HALF of my house. Yes, we did tell her that due to this pandemic we would rather her not go inside and complete the work, so that's on us. But that doesn't mean you get a free ride to due a half-*** job. Pretty sure that is NOT WORTH $99. We had to wait for almost AN HOUR for you to do a half-*** job and be gone within 15 minutes.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
was great and explained fully what he did. I would highly recommend insight pest solutions
was fabulous with explaining answers to the questions we had. Keeping fingers crossed that this works. I will ask for her in the future if needed.
I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!
I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE! #1 the very young salesman that came upon my doorstep was very kind, I expressed the issues i was having and was told the technician would address ALL ISSUES. When the 1st technician showed up he half*** the job by doing the least amount of work possible. He spot treated her and there for my inside issue and spot treated only one issue on the outside. Never touched my lawn which I paid extra for so that they would cover my entire front and back lawn. I had to have another tech come out just to do the same half*** job the 1st tech did. Did NOT TREAT MY ENTIRE YARD FRONT AND BACK AND AGAIN ONLY DID SPOT TREATMENTS ON THE INSIDE!. It has been 2 months since they came out and the treatments never took. I am still waking every morning with water bugs inside my house and on the outside, the fire ant issue is still an issue! And the wasp issue is also STILL AN ISSUE! When I spoke to someone from the company I told them I should not have to pay for the service as I still have all my issues, again this was after 2 treatments. So they decided to send me a bill so that if I did not pay it would go onto my credit report! Why should I have to pay for a service in which my issues were never resolved?

This company is a SCAM!
This company is a SCAM! They did not even have a working sprayer when i checked on the guy in the basement. It was a rip off! I said, nothing is even spraying out! He was like, oh & fiddled with the sprayer. Plus none of it worked to decrease any insects, -spiders or ants... It was like nothing was done. ... Because pretty much -nothing was done = scam. We paid in July -$21.30 & in August we paid $105.40, So when we noted that we were getting scammed, We called the company stating that we were not happy with the service and wanted to cancel all service. We later continued getting billed. We called three times with "no record of our call". They state that they did a treatment in December - which is a lie. & they continued to charge for services that we had cancelled..and not done. Now years later, we are currently being billed through collections for charges that they should have cancelled with the first phone call of us being unhappy. Again, poor services, and poor customer service. You cannot charge people for a service that you are not really providing, nor One that does not work. Your company continues to bill for services -even though it has been cancelled. You send customers to collections for such a SCAM business to force them to pay . You will never ever get another dime from us. We are disputing your collection and your disgusting company practices. Boo!
wasn't happy with the overall service of this company at all
wasn't happy with the overall service of this company at all. I will say the technicians that came out were friendly, honest about my situation and did what they could. But I was still ripped off mainly by the salesman. He told me about all these services I could get due to their promotions. Some of which I needed. He asked me about my well and I showed him where is was and he didn't say anything else about it. I sign away and schedule my service. The technicians come and my well is to close to my house. So the wasp problem I had really couldn't be felt with at all. The couldn't touch 3/4 of my property. I had them do ants and ticks anyway even though I was upset. The stuff didn't work. I had them come back a couple times. Then I ended up having to rip my deck down and the deck was loaded with carpenter ants. Still alive and thriving. 3 sprays and dusting around on and under the deck did nothing. I canceled the service in January and I just got a bill in March and had to pay even more. Because it was a promotional contract I signed. Regardless of the cancelation. Nobody came out for this treatment I just paid for because it was canceled. But I still had to pay for it. The sold me on protection for all 4 sides of my house and that's what I thought I was paying for. But I got stuck paying for the entire service even thought they couldn't do most of it and what they did do didn't work.

These folks were canvasing my neighborhood and caught me outside, I took the representative in the backyard where my husband was working
These folks were canvasing my neighborhood and caught me outside, I took the representative in the backyard where my husband was working. We discussed everything that Insight Pest Solutions could do and from what we were told they where the better company to go with because we already had a pest control company but we weren't real happy with them. In our discussion we talked about being services every 90 days and if we signed up with them that day we would get the special offer of $64.00 per 90 day services. We were already paying $65.00 per 90 day service, so we said what the heck everything sounded good, we liked the service that was explained to us and we got termite traps along with their service, so we signed the contract that day. That was our one and only service we had with them and it cost us $299.00, My error was not reading the contract in which they were charging us $64.00/mo. not every 90 days when we received our serviced and on top of that out of the 8 termite traps we have from the right side, front and left side of our house 3 of the traps are just tops to the traps. I noticed the monthly charges on my credit card statement . We called, got not answer so we googled their address and found the location of their office, went there only to find it was not manned because everybody works from home. It's just a small office off of ***. in ***. No sign, just a building number. We feel so screwed by Insight Pest Solutions. They get no ratings from us.

UNETHICAL SALES PRACTICES AND COMPANY> RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY
UNETHICAL SALES PRACTICES AND COMPANY> RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY. I had a young man knock on my door and stated he was with Insight Pest Control and that they were doing work in the area, and they wanted to know if I would like to use their services. I was told they had a special for $109.00 for a one-time treatment. This one-time treatment for $109 was to treat the outside of my house, crawlspace, and attic, Today 05/19, Insight showed up to my house, and the tech started the treatment on the outside of the house. I asked about the crawl space and attic. He told me the service does not include the attic or crawl, and there would be an additional charge. I told him I only wanted the one-time treatment for $109 and declined the extra add ons for the attic and crawlspace, that were initially promised by the sales rep. The tech told me that the service was not one time, and it was scheduled as quarterly. I told him I only wanted a one time service. The tech apologized and told me customer service would call and rectify the situation. I just got a call from customer service, and now they do not want to honor their one-time price of $109 that I and the sales rep agreed to. They are now trying to bill me $269.00 for a one time service. Insight PEST CONTROL IS A VERY UNETHICAL AND DECEPTIVE COMPANY. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE EVER USE THEM. I will only pay the $109 that I initially agreed with the sales rep. Life is to short to deal with unethical companies (like Insight) and the people who work for them .
I initially signed up with Insight because the salesman said they would get rid of a hornet problem we were having "within days"
I initially signed up with Insight because the salesman said they would get rid of a hornet problem we were having "within days". The hornets were still there 2 weeks after. I had to have another company come out to treat them. They successfully got rid of the hornets, within 24 hours, and $99 later. During initial treatment from Insight, the technician also did not remove cob webs as they said they would. Due to these issues, I called to speak with an account specialist. I was upset about being lied to about them being able to get rid of my hornet problem, and the fact that I spent another $100 to have another company get the job done. During the call, all I wanted was to stop my service. I do not want to pay Insight if they aren't going to deliver on their promises. The account specialist would not listen, but instead tried to get me to give them a second chance. He said they would move my next quarterly visit to November, free of charge. However, insight came to my home about a week ago for the quarterly treatment, and charged my $106. During this visit, they did not treat the inside of our home, or garage. They didn't even ask if we wanted them to. This company is a complete rip off. They lock you in to a year contract, and threaten to charge you hundreds of dollars of you want to terminate your contract. I understand that it is a harr agreement, but if they aren't holding up to their end of the deal, that is just stealing money from people in my opinion. I will absolutely never do business with this company ever again, and I will be sure to tell friends/family/neighbors the same.
An Insight representative conducting door-to-door sales in our neighborhood approached my husband about pest control services
An Insight representative conducting door-to-door sales in our neighborhood approached my husband about pest control services. At the time, we were dealing with an ant infestation in our kitchen and other areas around our house. When the representative quoted the initial price, my husband declined stating he wanted to shop around for a better rate. Then, the sales rep stated that he could offer a one-time discount and would complete a treatment for $99. My husband agreed and signed what he believed to be an acknowledgement to schedule service for $99. After the first treatment, our ant problem got worse. We informed Insight and they offered to do another treatment for free. The second treatment also did nothing to improve our ant problem, so we elected not to schedule any subsequent service. A few weeks later, an Insight representative called to schedule another service and my husband declined. The representative told him that we were obligated under a one year contract and if we did not schedule another service, we would be charged a $250 cancellation fee. Even after explaining that this was the first he was hearing of any year-long contract or cancellation fee, Insight refused to cancel the contract without charging the fee. Insight stated they would send us an invoice for the cancellation charge. Instead, Insight automatically charged the credit card we had used to pay for the initial service. I spoke to various representatives and explained that my husband was not provided a copy of the Contract before signing and that he was never informed that he was signing a Contract but Insight refused to reverse the $250 charge. Based on some of the other customer reviews, it sounds like this is a pattern of conduct for Insight. I intend to leave a review everywhere I can warning unsuspecting customers of Insight's scheme.

This review relates to the San Antonio branch located at ***
This review relates to the San Antonio branch located at ***. There is no branch listed in Complaintsboard.com for San Antonio so I am adding it here. I have also submitted an online request to contact someone at headquarters but there is no option on the Insight Pest Solutions website to select the San Antonio location. The sales rep., technician, and phone representatives are kind and seem like they care. However, each time I have called with questions or issues with them overcharging my account before service was even provided, which is a breach of contract, the CSR does not have the information needed to resolve my issues/questions. I called several days ago and finally asked for a call back from a supervisor. That was five days ago, no one has refunded the over charge, and no one has called back. I called to check the status of my requested call back on 7/22 and this morning, 7/25 and no one is able to provide any information. When I spoke to the CSR on 7/22, he stated that he has no way to escalate customer issues to a supervisor. This appears to be the case as well when I called on 7/20 since no one has called me. Each time, I have called on a business day and during business hours. This is in addition to issues I have had with asking basic questions about my service and schedule. On a different occasion when I asked for clarification on whether I needed to leave my home post treatment (contract states I have to leave but sales rep. stated I didn't), the CSR stated she did not know and she did not have anyone available to ask. She stated she would call me back ASAP. This was on a Saturday so I understand resources are limited. However, I did not get a call back until after my treatment was almost complete to provide more conflicting information. I am still unsure of their processes and expectations and their employees seem to be in this same boat.
I am NOT happy
I am NOT happy. We switched over to Insight a little over a month ago. The guy told us all the right things. I will say they took care of our pest problem the our other company couldn't, but they have been HORRIBLE with their communication thus far. Our first visit, the guy was 2 AND A HALF HOURS LATE. (I get that there are appointment "windows"). But when they also did my cousins house the same day right before ours, they were a hour late to that, then apparently it took the guy a hour to make a normal 6 min drive from my cousin's house to mine. There were no traffic problems. I called the owner to see where the guy was and 45 mins after he left my cousin's house the guy says "he just left your cousin's house and will be there soon. (When my cousin said the guy had left 45 mins ago...) Then it still took the guy another 20 mins to arrive at our house. ITS A 6 MIN DRIVE! Also, the owner LIED to me about when he left! They did a good job with the yard and got rid of the pests we've been trying to get rid have for 3 months. Fast forward to this month. I got a call saying we had a appointment for the 17th. We were out of town so my fiance called and messaged the owner, and he said he'd send the numbers over for us to call to reschedule. And he did. Well we called to get them to reschedule they didnt answer, left a voicemail. They didn't call the next day. So my fiance called the day after that gave them my number to call and reschedule, as he was at work. I got NO phone call. So he called again yesterday (June 23rd) and asked when they were gonna come out and they said they'd call back in a hour. So MORE than an hour after that I got a call asking if it was gonna be a quarterly or the first initial. (which don't you think they would have that in the records?) I said it was the quarterly we already did the first initial visit. And they the lady said okay thank you we will call you back. With NO call! It is now the 24th, my fiance has called 3 times and left voicemails. The last one was a very upset and mad voicemail! And if they keep this *** up we will change pest control service again! They are horrible with their customer service!

Received a knock on the door from a sales rep from Insight in the New Orleans region
Received a knock on the door from a sales rep from Insight in the New Orleans region. He stated that Insight was over at our neighbors home on our street and he can offer me a rate of $50 to come in and spray inside and around my home. I agreed, payed with my card, signed his iPad thinking it was a signature to the $50 payment and was told after that the guys would come over tomorrow to spray... At that point I was confused. Why would they come tomorrow if they're at a neighbors home on my street now? A month later I'm seeing that I'm being charged $50 a month. I called and spoke to *** in the New Orleans office and he confirmed that I am locked into a contract with Insight for 1 year. To exit the agreement I would have to pay the "waived" $250 startup fee. Waiving the startup fee is not unique to my agreement, in fact it's in the small print that you will need to pay the waived start up fee upon canceling the contract. Not having a start-up fee is exactly how Insight is able to scam customers into thinking they are paying a one time fee for a one time spray. The whole pitch that they were spraying at a neighbors home across the street was completely false, we spoke to every neighbor on the street. I specifically asked *** if he can tell me the address of the client on my street and his response was that they have a lot of clients in my area. I do not trust Insight inside of my home or around my property.
After reviewing my contract I noticed that my signature that I thought was to confirm the one-time $50 service was copied and pasted into 3 separate areas on the contract. I never reviewed this contract and would have never agreed to $50 a month to have my yard sprayed quarterly.
You do not have to deceive clients to make a sale, I'm currently paying for a service and will not allow Insight on my property. I would like to think that it was the sales rep, but when you look at the operations around the "waived fee" penalty, the one sign and we plug your signature throughout the contract you were not presented and multiple reviews that the "we're at your neighbors home and we have a special offer since were already here" talk more proves that this is not unique to the New Orleans branch, but standard practice across the organization.
I interacted with the Tennessee location and their parent company, which has a different name.
I interacted with the Tennessee location and their parent company, which has a different name. First off, let me start by saying that I live in a neighborhood with a no soliciting sign at the entrance, but salespeople ignore it. The salesman who knocked on my door pitched his product, and despite my initial refusal and upcoming move to Kentucky, he offered a deal I accepted: $79 for the first service, then $99 quarterly. They serviced my home on 4/10, and the technician was informative. I was invoiced the same day and mailed a check when I didn't see the charge on my bank account. Later, they called to say they charged someone else's card by mistake. We agreed they'd charge my card and cash the check, giving me a credit. On 6/3, after buying a house in Kentucky, I tried to transfer services but was told they don't service my area. I requested a refund of the $79 credit. The representative was nice and said she'd confirm the refund process. I never heard back. On 6/18, I was reminded of an upcoming appointment, even though I had canceled services on 6/3. I called and emailed to reiterate my cancellation and refund request but received no response. I wouldn't recommend this company due to their poor customer service and failure to process my refund.

Shame on me!
Shame on me! Do NOT do business with the Knoxville, TN location
An Insight salesman came to my home to sell their service on May 4th. I think his name was ***. He said to get the "deal" we would have to schedule service that same week. He did not have a business card or any paperwork about their service. I should have asked him to leave when he didn't have any information to show me. That is a sign of an unprofessional company. Also the fact that he came to my home during quarantine without a mask. Talk about unprofessional. I sure feel stupid for falling for it. He said their company is highly rated and based in Utah. I asked where their local office is and he said somewhere in Farragut. I asked if it's a real office or a house. He said it was an office but when I googled the address on the contract, it shows a photo of a house. An extermination company operating from a house?
I used to have a different pest control service but cancelled it because there wasn't much of a need anymore. However, we have a recent carpenter bee problem. He said the agreement covers carpenter bees so I became interested. He showed me a contract on an iPad and I read it thoroughly. It doesn't state that it covers carpenter bees and I questioned him. He added a notes to the agreement that it does cover carpenter bees and showed it to me. He said those notes would appear on the contract when I received it via email. It did not appear so I attempted to call the phone number on the contract. There was no answer.
I called the *** number from the insight website on May 5th to explain my concern that Carpenter Bees are my main concern but the notes the salesman typed are not on my contract. The phone representative told me that Insight corporate can't help me because the Knoxville office is a franchise location. I asked for a working phone number, email address or name of the owner of the Knoxville location and she could not provide me a name or email address. The phone number is *** and it didn't work. no one answered. So calling the corporate location was of no help at all.
So I had to wait to talk to a representative at my appointment time at 5pm on Friday, May 8th. A technician called to reschedule at 3:02pm because it was raining. We rescheduled for May 15th at 3pm.
On Saturday, May 9th, I received a text from someone named *** at ***. She said it needs to be rescheduled for 9am on May 15th. I told her the tech and already selected 3pm but she told me that 3pm was already taken so I planned for 9am.
Today is May 15th. At 9am, there was no one at my home from InSight. So texted the same number *** texted me from and there has been no response. I called the Knoxville office phone number from he contract. It says the office is closed and I can leave a voicemail but there is no prompt for a voicemail. Their outgoing message just loops over and over. Because the tech called me last week to schedule due to rain I texted the number he called me from to ask where he was. He said it was scheduled for 3pm. I sent him the screen shot of the *** communication that stated it was for 9am and he said he didn't know why she sent that.
What kind of a business is this? And why does Complaintsboard.com give them a 4-star rating with such a high volume of bad reviews?
I better be hearing from the Knoxville location owner quickly to explain these issues. I have phone and text documentation of everything I described here. I would also like to be informed clearly of the address that I must wrote to cancel this contract at the end of the term. This company appears to be a "fly by night" sort of operation in Knoxville and since the corporate office pretends to have no real association with the Knoxville office, someone needs to explain to whom I need to contact to cancel this agreement.

A guy promoting a service assured me of follow-up for any issues but failed to respond.
A guy promoting a service showed up at my house, sold us on it, and assured me that if I saw an ant bed after service, they would send someone out immediately. On June 20, I was still seeing bugs, so I sent a message on their website and received a text that someone would contact me. After waiting a week with no response, I sent a second message. With still no response, I called them and was told all supervisors were at lunch. They promised a call back, which never came. On June 30, I called again, was told supervisors were in a meeting, but I insisted on holding. After 20 minutes, a supervisor answered. I explained my multiple contacts with no replies and, since it was within 30 days, I wanted to cancel due to dissatisfaction and lack of communication. They informed me of a $350 penalty fee for cancellation. I refused to pay, arguing that the failure to return calls was on them, not me, and mentioned that I was told there were issues with the new service location in my area. After an hour on the phone and no resolution, I had to return to work. The supervisor offered to change my service to a one-time visit for $150, with $100 remaining since I paid $49 at startup. He threatened to send my account to collections if I didn't pay. I argued that the contract should be voided due to their negligence, but he refused to assist.
I signed up for 4 Quarterly treatments with this company that were completed with no issues. When I signed up, the salesman assured me I would only receive the 4 treatments and I would be contacted to see if I wanted to continue the service after the last treatment. The 4th treatment was completed in March 2022. I received a phone call that I was unable to answer leaving a voicemail stating that a treatment was scheduled for June 22, 2022. I tried repeatedly to call the number they left back with no answer on any of my calls. On the 3rd attempt I left a voice message cancelling the appointment and asking for any future treatments to be cancelled. No one followed up with me and I did not receive and more calls until I started receiving numerous automated calls from billing about my unpaid bill. No one answers the phone they provide for questions and that voice mailbox is full. I received a paper bill in the mail about 10 days after the automated calls started, which is attached. I do not know if a treatment was applied to the property or not.
On July 1, 2022 a door to door saleman from Insight Pest Solutions stopped by our house to offer pest service with four quarterly visits for $50.00 per visit. We were told all about the visits and the price was an introductory special as the company was trying to expand into Lexington from their Cincinnati office. On July 7, 2022 the service tech arrived sprayed outside of the house, inside where we once had ants (but we had already fixed that issue), but sprayed to stop future issues and sprayed under a kitchen cabinet where a mouse had been. He spent approximately 20 minutes to complete the job. We had no issues with this service, however other another problem began today as we received a bill for $50.00. I thought I paid by credit card on the date of service so I called the Springdale, Ohio office and discovered the credit card number was incorrectly written down, so I gave the clerk the correct number and as I was ready to hang up she said for next payment of $40.00 will be in August. THAT'S where the BIG TROUBLE began. The door to door salesman NEVER said we had eight $40 payments ($320.00) on top of the original $200.00 agreement.for the 4 times agreed to as agreed that the salesman told us about. We signed the contract for four future treatments, no mention of payments for any other months. Our mistake was trusting this salesman for not telling us we needed to pay each month. After telling this all to the clerk that we wanted to pay our $50.00 bill and discontinue service. She said we could still stop service but she was going to take the hidden $320.00 from our credit card. My wife and I were very upset so she put us on hold for about 20 minutes to talk to her supervisor. I stated I was going to notify the complaintsboard.com. She relayed his response that service would be stopped we had no chice but be pay the service fee. After more arguing the only thing we could due to end this matter was to pay $250.00. Help us get our $200.00 back.
Insight told me that they would deal with the mice in my basement. They sold me a yearly plan that would be paid for monthly. WHen the men came over to do their first treatment they told me that none of the things I'd been told and that had been written in the contract were something that they even do... but they still charging me and nobody will call me back.
A man from Insight Pest Solutions came to my door on April 18,2020
A man from Insight Pest Solutions came to my door on April 18,2020. I was out of work due to Covid. He explained to me a deal they had going, I explained to him I was out of work at that time with 2 small children abs had no money. He said it would only be $1.00 that day and over the course of a year I could pay for the services. Because my girls and I hate bugs I said yes and signed his paper. A guy came to my house on 2 other occasions to treat it. My bank account was debited $105 each time. After the 2nd treatment, I noticed a lot more bugs and spiders in my house! It was actually horrifying! So many we were afraid in our own home! By spraying outside our home I know he stirred them all up and now were pouring inside my house. I called them and told them and all they wanted to do was come back out to spray again! I find them no! That I didn't want them to do that anymore! I just wanted it to stop all together! It was better before they ever sprayed the first time! Well they kept calling and texting and emailing me to try to come out for the last 2 services they were supposed to perform and not listening to how unsatisfied I was with this company! They didn't care that I said don't come! A guy even came out another time, the third time and sprayed outside my house unbeknownst to me! Then they debited my account a third charge of $105. I tried to cancel again. One lady said I was paid up and cancelled my account. But they kept calling, texting, and emailing me every day sometimes 3 times a day! They said I still owed them $368.00 and 2 more services! I've called them maybe 5-6 times over the last 2 years and have yet to resolve this. The $368 is nothing but fees! I've paid for every service I've received! I even offered to pay $100 from the first service that was supposedly discounted to $1.00. Which that's what it states in their cancellation policy! They will not take that! They want $368 from me and that's it. I don't want them back out at my property.

One of their salespeople was going door to door in my neighborhood selling their pest control services at a discounted rate claiming that many others in my neighborhood had signed up. He showed up just as I was getting home and sitting down for dinner. Against better judgement and having been dealing with hornets as many do this time of the year, I decided to sign up for their services so the salesperson could leave and I could proceed with my dinner that was now cooling. He stated that my first treatment would happen approximately 5 days later on the following Monday 6/15. Monday came and I was billed for the treatment ($99.00), yet I received no treatment. I have cameras all around my house and they picked up no activity in my front or back yards. Turns out, from further video review, they treated my neighbor across the street, who did not sign up for their services. I made contact with the company stating that I would give them until the weekend to send someone out before disputing the charge with my credit card company. The weekend came and I had no confirmation from them that they'd be sending anyone out nor did I see anyone. I disputed the charge with my credit card company on 6/18 and contacted Insight to terminate my agreement and stop any further treatment attempts and any further billing. I received yet another charge this morning 7/14 for $49 for services that I have not yet had performed. I will be filing yet another credit card dispute since this company doesn't seem to know how to follow simple instructions.
I signed up with insight pest solutions on May `11, 2022. Since that date they have came out one time to do service to my residence. I have called them repeatedly and left a message on their answering service at the number ***. I am still getting charged for service that has not been rendered. I explicitly stated in the voicemail that if they can not come out and do the job they represented that I want my service cancelled. Looking up online I find that there is a cancellation fee of 100 dollars that I am more than willing to pay. They once again charged my account today for a service they never did.
This business had a salesperson going door to door in our neighborhood. This person told us the services would include a mosquito spray within the price. He also told us we could cancel at anytime for any reason without any penalties. My husband knowing that I wanted a mosquito service agreed to try them out. When the lady came to spray and I asked her about the mosquito services she told me that they do not do that. I told my husband I wanted to cancel and we will just keep using Yates but when we tried to cancel they want to charge us close to $400 just to cancel. So the $400 plus the two payments of $59 they drafted for the monthly fee I was going to have to pay over $600 for this company to have sprayed our house 1 time. I feel the salesperson misrepresented the services and the pricing and contract terms. I called the company to explain my displeasure and all they can do is offer a free granulation of my yard. I have voiced my concerns on a local neighborhood page and have received many messages about this same company and their salespeople being out and lying about the services. A couple people have told me they have also been told they could opt out at any time only to find out they are now trapped after being lied to by their salesperson. The company has been less than helpful in fixing the issues and everyone who has called their customer services including us says that they are less than accommodating. It is wrong for the company to be out misrepresenting what their company will do and having us sign up for something that we were not told the truth about. I feel like something needs to be done. The customer service person told me he cannot do anything about what the salespeople said to us but in my opinion the salespeople should not be out lying to potential customers to garner business!
Back in January to remedy some mice, I ended up paying $276 for two visits
Back in January to remedy some mice, I ended up paying $276 for two visits. The First technician had a cough the entire time he was in my home and just added a few more traps to the ones I had laid. My family all tested positive for COVID a few days later, not sure if it was him, but it just was my first dealing with the company. Next visit, I informed them adding more traps didn't seem to work, so the new technician just went heavier on laying traps, in walkways where my 3 year old plays and dogs roam, one snapped my wife...other places I did not know where he placed them which resulted in long term dead mice and maggots all over. I called the company to try to break ties as both visits from the company ended up with my house worse off than it started and this is not want I want for service. When they came to my house, things went wrong. The calls with the company are why I would like the Complaintsboard.com involved. Their customer service reps seem to be playing a game, I answered a few of the calls and each call was roughly 30 minutes. It started peacefully with them saying OK we just need to speak with my wife, my wife then immediately called them to cancel service and they said they needed to speak to me as account holder.. That was first joke they played. I called and told me that the traps are not going to injure anyone... (the response to my wife getting snapped and the potential of my 3 year old getting snapped).. each call had a script to say the world "help" as much as possible, but ultimately, you could hear the representative laugh each time he said it with a goal to keep me on the phone for an additional 20-30 minutes. 1 woman put me on hold to "write that down"... for 5-10 minutes at a time..Putting me on hold to "write that down" was intended to mock me as she was the only rep of a few that did it. They want me to pay $379 after reckless service and mocking me with customer service. They also did not make visits they invoiced. I just want to cut ties and be done.

5/30/22 Sales person came to my door offering a discount because they are trying to build their new branch in my city. Mentioned how bad the spiders are and i agreed. Showed me it was only $55 when its usually $250 and mentioned nothing about a monthly service or anything close to that. They came and were supposed to take wasp nests down and didn't even do that. had to come out again and the 2nd person only got a few down. noticed no difference in wasp or spider activity. Got charged again a month later and when i called confused that it was a mistake, I was informed that i was stuck in a subscription "like ***" and they are a reputable company that would never scam anyone, yet all i see are complaints online about that. Had 0 idea i was in a contract and wasn't even allowed to put my own card info onto the iPad they had. I signed because that's what you do when you use your card to buy things like with any store. They then used that to signature to copy and paste it onto some contract that wasn't present at the time of the sale and said they sent me an email with information about my service. Which happened to be an "agreement" you can only see after the transaction is complete... weird. You can't agree to something which isn't present at the time of signature. Which I'm pretty sure is very illegal. The only excuse they have is it's my fault I was misinformed, and everyone is trained correctly to brush off that they are scamming you and making you feel guilty of their scam tactics. they are reputable so it's my fault I was not aware of something that I was not told until after I agreed for ONE service that Friday. I do not believe in that stuff so I know dang well I wouldn't have signed if I was aware of being charged every month, so I know they are full of crap or maybe their salesperson left it out on purpose and it's their fault alone. not sure. but needs to be fixed. cancelled my card because of them.
I have similar problem to other complaints about cancellation. On June 22nd 2022, door to door salesman came to offer service claiming huge discount if I sign up at that moment. The salesman also claimed that I can cancel the service at anytime and doesn't even say that there is a termination fees. ------- I received the quarterly service on June 25th 2022 and paid monthly fees of $59/month. ----------- I called them today to try to cancel after finding out that other company offer similar service at rates of $30/month. I offered to pay $100 termination fees (which wasn't advertised in the first place, otherwise I would never sign up for the service) + $118 for the values of the service I already received. However, they claimed that the contract stated that I also need to reimburse any promotional discount (not sure how much, they said $300+). None of these were advertised when they come unsolicited to offer the service. ----------- They offered me a lower monthly service of $39/month, which is much appreciated. I am willing to accept the resolution if the company either: ---- 1. Cancel contract. I am willing to pay termination fees of $100 which is not advertised by the salesman in the first place and the first quarter values of $118. - or - 2. Lower monthly service rate to $30/month which is the competitive rates of service provided by similar company
I received a bill from this company in for $118 dollars stating that my bill was overdue you failed to contact me in regards to payment not being received and because of the failure to communicate I am stuck with a bill that I don't know how to pay my wife was the person who card was on file and now I am being told a finance charge of 1.5% will be made on unpaid balance after 30 days. I feel that canceling my service should not cost a thing

Sales reps are deceptive about service in order to make sales
Sales reps are deceptive about service in order to make sales. Customer service reps are inconsistent with information. This summer I arrived home with my toddler and groceries and this Insight Sales Rep approached me about a summer special. He could tell I was busy and didn't really want to be bothered so he promised me it would be quick and no strings attached. He offered me a really good summer promo and said he only needed to swipe my card to get it started. Like an idiot I handed him my card because the deal sounded amazing. The charge came out a few weeks later. They came and serviced my house, and then they came out again maybe a month or so after. I received a charge of $99 out of my account maybe a week or so after that. I was confused as to why I was being charged an additional fee because the sales rep didn't mention this and I never saw a contract. I called and spoke to two awful customer service reps who pretty much implied I was in the wrong and the sales reps clearly inform customers of what's included. I said I never received a contract, and they told me I did and they had my signature. I asked for them to email me said contract. I received a contract that I had never seen before with my my name misspelled on the contract. I find it interesting that I signed a contract with my name misspelled. I called again and spoke with another sales rep who did refund the $99 fee, but told me I still needed to continue the contract, but he could change the contract to spread it out more. I appreciated his assistance, but I still feel completely deceived by your sales rep. They come into working class neighborhoods scamming people so they can make their quota. I'm a teacher on a fixed income. There is no way I would have signed up for a pest control contract for $600+( as shown on the contact I emailed by the rep) and to be charged $99 every other month. I don't have that type of money and none of that was mentioned . I think people should know that this company has shady business practices and I've made it a point to tell my neighbors to be weary of this company.

A guy on a *** showed up at my house sold us on this great service told me that if I saw an ant bed after service they would send someone out immediately. On June 20 I was still seeing bugs here and there I sent message on their website and received a text that someone would contact me. Waited a week after no response sent a second message. Still no response I called them and told them that I really needed to speak with someone and was told that all supervisors were at lunch. I was told that a supervisor would contact me when they returned from lunch no call ever came. On June 30 I called again and talk to the same person who then told me that all supervisors were in a meeting and I told him that I would hold. Finally after holding for 20 minutes supervisor came on I told him that I had contacted them four times and had no response and that since it had not been 30 days I wanted to just cancel I was very dissatisfied with the waste of my time having to try and contact someone with no reply. I was told that if I canceled there would be a $350 penalty fee. I told him that I have refused to pay a penalty because I had done everything correctly it was Insight that would not return calls and I also mentioned that the first person explain to me that the location services in my area was a new location and they were having some issues. I was on the phone for a total of one hour trying to plead my case I was told that there was no way that anyone could stop the contract and I had to hang up because I had to return to work. The supervisor that I spoke with *** told me that he would change my service to a one time visit which was $150, Of which $100 would be remaining since I paid $49 at start up. He told me if I did not pay that my account would be turned over to collections. I told him that this was on them not me I also explained that I had wasted a whole lot of my time trying to contact them and that the contract needs to be voided he refused to help me.
Promised a no risk trail that we could cancel at any time without risk
Promised a no risk trail that we could cancel at any time without risk. Subsequently charged us 270 to cancel. On April 27th, during the COVID stay at home period, a salesperson came to our door and offered us a no-risk trial for 1 year that we could cancel at any time. My wife and specifically asked him if there would be any cancellation fees if chose to cancel and he assured us there would not be. Everything was agreed to verbally to avoid any physical contact while he remained on our porch. Because our income had not been affect at that point, we decided to give it a try. After the first treatment, that cost us $99 we did not notice any discernible difference in ants but still decided not to cancel. Then, prior to the second treatment, we lost two sources of income due to the pandemic and called them to cancel. We were then passed on to three different spokespersons each saying we would have to a pay a cancellation fee of $100 plus a different in the promotional rate, which turned out to be another $170 for a total of $270. When we pointed out to them we promised this was no risk and never presented or reviewed any physical contract with the salesperson, they did not even bother to deny the salesperson would have told us this. I asked them to check with the salesperson the conversation was explicit and unambiguous, we only agreed to the trial because we could cancel at any time. They said they did not have the salesperson's name and could not do that. They also referenced a subsequent contract which was sent to us by email after the agreement and date of service staring that included the information about the cancellation fee. This was not a contract presented to us at the time of agreement and we never signed it. The salesperson said the contract would be sent later because of COVID but assured us about the no risk terms. Especially during a pandemic like this, such business practices are clearly dishonest. We have informed the company that we would post a warning about them in our public area at our subdivision and have done so. We also recommend that a warning be posted at the Complaintsboard.com.

Unsolicited sales visit - was told I could cancel prior to service and customer service verified this was taken care of
Unsolicited sales visit - was told I could cancel prior to service and customer service verified this was taken care of. It was not. On July 21 I received an unsolicited visit from a representative of Insight Pest Solutions (I believe he said his name was "***"), claiming that there were just a few open slots in our area that would be eligible to receive a discounted rate on pest control service. He used rather high pressure sales tactics which I immediately recognized from my own marketing background. Still, I sounded like the service would be valuable for us, especially since we have ongoing issues with wasps and hornets. However, before I supplied any payment information or signed anything, I told him that I would need to discuss the matter with my wife. He said that would not be a problem ("I'm here to get rid of pests, not marriages.") and assured me I could cancel the service appointment and any subsequent ones "with no charge." At that point, I provided my payment information (credit card) and signed what I believed to be a work order. Never was there any mention of a contract or any additional fees. I also thought it odd that "***" didn't provide a business card but only handed me a blank brochure/appt. schedule. As it turned out, my wife did NOT want the pest control service, for a number of reasons. So the next day, July 22, I submitted a customer service form via insightpest.com requesting cancellation of the service. This led to an email exchange (see attached PDF document) between myself and ***, at the end of which he stated he had contacted the regional sales coordinator to cancel the service. On August 1, the date the service had been scheduled for, I returned home around 11:00 a.m. to find that technicians from Insight Pest Solutions had been at my home and applied pest control treatments, DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HAD BEEN ASSURED THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. I contacted *** yesterday regarding this issue but since he has not had the courtesy to answer my email, I have no choice but to take the following steps as outlined below. Thank you for your time and immediate attention to this matter.

Services can not performed in a timely manner
Services can not performed in a timely manner. I would like to cancel services and receive a refund for services not performed. In The first part of April my account had been delinquent for services rendered. I called and paid off the past due amount and I also paid for the services in the future. I received a service shortly after that. I then called back because of a pest issue. I was informed it would be extra and I advised that would be fine. I was told that I would just need to call back and they can come out whenever. However this is not the case. I believe it's because my home is one of the furthest in the route. Whenever I call in I am told that they have to reach out to a schedule or a supervisor to set up an appointment. I then went from having the rodents outside of my home, to in my garage, to now officially in my home. I did have an appointment set for Monday the 11th but they said I missed the timeframe. When I tried to call back immediately they were having a "phone outage" causing the service person to travel outside the area again. I would then have to wait another week. They could not deliver what they promised and I found another provider that can come out if not the same day within at least a 24-48 hour window. What I was asking for was just service from the company I have paid up and in advance. What I am asking for now is just my money back, not all of it either, just for services not used and I no longer wish to be billed or continue services. I have found another provider that is local and can service my home in a timely manner. I have contacted the company and was placed on hold numerous times and then told I would be called back either from the rep or a supervisor. The rep called back and rambled numerous amounts and wasn't sure what I was due. When I then asked for a supervisor she said one already reviewed the account with her. Not allowing me to speak with anyone else. When I then just said I needed just a simple refund she then said well we just need to fix this and that whomever I spoke with prior just didn't go above and beyond for me. I told her it was the supervisor I spoke with last. She then reviewed the account more and then placed me on hold again and said she would need to call me back. I told her I didn't want them any longer and I just wanted a refund. I was told I would be called back and I have yet to hear from anyone. Please review the calls.

Dispute on cancellation fees on a 2 year contract to treat pests seasonally in my home
Dispute on cancellation fees on a 2 year contract to treat pests seasonally in my home. I signed an agreement with Insight Pest Solutions for 24 months to treat pests at my home. It is a preventive regular treatment during the 4 seasons of the year. I got dissatisfied with the service because of 4 reasons: 1.- For most of the initial treatments they did, consistently I had to call them again to follow up and request further treatment; in these occasions I ensured to be present to supervise they treated the whole perimeter of the property. Also, I requested treatment inside of the garage and windows. They had that on records to know what to do next time, but they did not follow these patterns ever. 2.- I was particularly unhappy when the crew arrived at least in 2 different occasions, treated the property and I had not been aware that they had done the treatment until I received the notification by email with a confirmation and invoice attached. 3.- Early this year (Spring), I waited half a day for the crew to arrive for a scheduled treatment. They failed to show up early and I had another appointment later that day away from home. On the way out I ran into the Insights Pests Crew two houses down and asked to re-schedule to any day and time (assuming I would be at home because of COVID). Since I did not receive any follow up call soon after, I decided not to call and wait more time because I had found quite a lot of spiders inside. So, I treated myself the property buying a product from a store. 4.- Several weeks later, after the previous season was over, customer service finally called, but confirming the schedule for next treatment (or in other words the treatment for the next season, I assumed it was for summer). I told them I was frustrated with their service for failing and basically expressing my previous points that I described in the above 3 points. Also, I refused to schedule any other service because I think they failed on what I thought should have been the correct service & pest treatment. Besides, I ended up doing the treatment myself. Over the last 3 months Insights Pests customer service have called me multiple times. (1) Initially they wanted to schedule a service, to which I refused and I asked a way out of contract; (2) Finally account specialists called me several times to discuss the matter and negotiate to keep me within contract; to this I have asked to wave any fees and cancel the contract because of my arguments (3) After several weeks they agreed to cancel the account but they want me to pay cancelation fees or they will proceed to collection Today (10/2) they called again harassing that I must pay cancelation fees ($260) or they will proceed to collection. I responded I was going to do whatever possible to dispute this.

Sent technician to exterminate ants
Sent technician to exterminate ants. Used ant cups. I didn't think that would work. Convinced me it would. Still have infestation. Want to charge agai Feb. 26, I hired Insight Pest Solutions to exterminate ants in my walls. Noticed ants late summer 2019. Seemed to go away as it got cold. Saw them again in Feb 2020. Technician, "***" placed an ant cup on window sill. I questioned how well that would work. He convinces me it would. I told him I had infestation about 7 years ago and they had to put chemicals in my foundation and millions of ants came into my house and died. He told me the ants would eat the chemicals in the ant cups and bring it back to the nest and they would all die. That never happened. After leaving an ant cup on the windowsill, *** went outside and sprinkled something around my house. He charged me $250.00 and left. I do realize there was a 30 day warranty with that treatment. I have to admit that I should have called by March 26 but given the fact that my business was closed down on March 23 and I have no income at all, i was not thinking about my ant problem or the 30 day warranty. I am a home daycare provider for six families. On April 7, (12 days past the warranty) I called Insight and they told me it was past the warranty. I know that! They told me that they would come out again but they would charge me again. I explained the ant cups and how I had a bigger problem years ago and I didn't think that would work but they robotically said they were sorry but they would come out to remedy the problem but would have to charge me. I asked to speak with the manager and she told me the same thing. I can't believe they would do this. If they know they used ant cups for an ant infestation, and it is still a problem in my house, weather it's 30 days or 42 days from their service, why won't they remedy this. I mean ant cups?!?! They convinced me it would work. They took the most inexpensive way to make me, (the consumer) think that they know what they are talking about, charge me $250.00, and hope that I wouldn't call back before the 30 days were up. And that's what happened. When I called them they were smug, saying "I'm sorry but it's over the warranty. We can come out to remedy this but we will have to charge you." Rip Off! $250.00 for ant cups. They should have given me $250.00 worth in the first place. I'm really upset that they robbed me. They know the problem I have. They didn't do what they should have, knowing this problem. They HAVE to know that ant cups would not kill the ants. I definitely believe I got robbed and as I write this, carpenter ants are chewing up my house! That's a disgrace! They need to think about how they approached the problem I am having. It should not be a question of a 30 day warranty but a question of competence on their part. An ant cup for an infestation?

They completely mislead us on the covered services and was not explained it was a contract and that it had added fees to get out of
They completely mislead us on the covered services and was not explained it was a contract and that it had added fees to get out of. The day a rep came out to visit us and get us to sign up we were of course asked what our chief complaint was. With no question at all our one and only complaint was carpenter bees. We were told this service would take care of them and not only did he say they take care of them he also said they wouldn't come back. That was a sale for us. The next week the tech comes out and she asks me what our problem is and I said we really didn't have many but our complaint was about the carpenter bees. Image my surprise when she tells us they don't cover them. What? That was our main problem. We let her do her job, as she was super friendly and I knew we were going to get charged for her coming out. Within a week from her coming out we became infested outside our house with these little beetle like bugs called Kudzo bugs. We emailed the company about this issue and why we've never had them before until they came out. It took 8 days for them to get back to our email and another 7 days before someone came out. And guess what they said, of course nothing they can do for them. We are left a little shocked on what they do cover. So our next step was to cancel. We were never told that this was a CONTRACT and there were cancellation fees, so when we called to cancel from them coming out again we were told it was $206 to cancel. We explained to her that our salesman said it would cover our bee problem and we told her we would never signed up with them if he knew his job and hadn't stressed how much they would take care of this problem. The woman on the phone said she would speak to her manager and call us back the next day. Obviously no phone call back. They are complete false advertising. They also had me initial to bill my credit card for services which I did, ONCE. When I requested a copy of my contract after no one returned our call back I was surprised to see my initials COPIED on another page. I was only aware of initialing for billing my card. That is fraud! And why didn't they give us a copy of this contract the day we signed up, why do we have to request it? After our request they email us a copy of the contract on May 21st that says they cover spiders and house ants. 5 Insects is all...for a grand total of $645 counting our initial visit. Also in our contract it says they would cover our ENTIRE yard. The tech only made a couple passes around our house. They failed to perform to their own services they put into their contract. We would like to resolve this by getting a complete refund of the $109 and cancel the rest of our services without charge. I have been in law enforcement for 20 years and served in the Air Force for 10 and have never dealt with a company that is such a fraud. I hope to resolve this quickly. Thank you.

Tried to cancel because of dissatisfaction with service but company is trying to charge me $300 and citing a forged contract
Tried to cancel because of dissatisfaction with service but company is trying to charge me $300 and citing a forged contract. I feel like this company is a total con. It's door to door sales, so I should have just slammed the door and been done with it. But, we have a deck that we use as a family room in the summer and I have dreams of it being bug free, so I heard them out. The sales person quoted a reasonable price and mentioned multiple visits but when I asked, he said I could cancel at any time. He did not mention a contract and I signed nothing but the credit card authorization. After the first treatment, the very next day I noticed ants in my home. I was soon dealing with a full on ant infestation which took me 3 weeks to rectify. I contacted the company to cancel since I did not want THAT happening again and was told that in order to cancel, I would have to pay the full, non-discounted price for the first service I received (which drove ants into my home) and an additional $100 for canceling the contract. So they want to charge me $320 in addition to the $50ish I paid for the first treatment which infested my home with ants. I was quite angry to say the least. A contract was never mentioned but they sent me a copy of it which was forged with my initials. (Seriously, not even close to my handwriting.) After fighting with the first customer service rep, I was transferred to another rep who tried to talk me off the ledge. I told the guy I felt like this was a total con and that I didn't want them to come back because I don't want to deal with ants in my home again. He was well trained and said a lot of the right things to calm me down. He mentioned their warranty services that entitled me to additional treatments in between the regularly scheduled ones. He didn't want me to cancel because if I treated the ants with over-the-counter ant traps I probably didn't solve the problem and I would need to find the nest to make sure the ants were gone and protect my property from major damage. Since he wasn't letting me cancel without paying out $320, I didn't know what else to do, so I said, fine...send someone out for this warranty visit. When the guy showed up, I told him how unhappy I was because of the ants. Based on the customer service rep's extreme concern over finding and treating the nests and source of my ant problem, I expected him to then start searching and treating these dangerous nests. However, he just said..."So you want me to spray inside then?" At this point, I'm 100% sure this is a total rip off and a con. Again, we called the company to try to work something out, but they say the only way to cancel is to pay or file a police report over the forged contract. They sent a bill for $320 and within a week I already had an email informing me that I was 30 days past due. I do not understand why I should have to pay them for driving ants into my home and I certainly don't want them to come back, because I don't want it to happen again.

Manager offered payment plan when I called back to honor my part of the payment plan manager reneged and offered a more expensive plan
Manager offered payment plan when I called back to honor my part of the payment plan manager reneged and offered a more expensive plan. Around August / September my step father took ill with cancer and was very ill so I had to stop working in order to help care for him Because we could not afford a home aid nurse. I had just began services with insight pest solution, once leaving my job I couldn't afford bimonthly services because any money I did get I had to use it for food And to care for myself and my 12 month baby. I called Insight Pest solution explained my new financial situation and my predicament at home, the accountant offered to remove my card from the file which would stop auto pay ( leaving my account negative) and offered me one additional service and said I could pay that off as long as I needed to but I would not get another service until I paid the last one off ( that service was in September) my step father died two months later. My mom and I didn't have help with his finances and Burial, social security retracted his money from his account before we could even bury him so all his bills therefore landed on my mom and I so I was not able to make a payment until December 20$ I called in gave an update and Insight pest solution were at the time very understanding tHey even sent condolences letters to me. In late January/ early February I called in again let them know I would be working starting March 2nd and from there I will resume payments. March 4th I get a letter that I'm being sent to collection. I called and spoke to the manager CJ he said he understood my frustration and the difficult time I was having and that he'd discuss it with the boss and get back to me with a solution. I believe a week went by then he contacted me with the offer of clearing my collections fee entirely and paying 47$ By the end of the month and my account will be in good standing and then I'd continue to pay that amount until July. A total of about 250$ I thanked him and at the end of the month I called in to make my payment despite the financial strain the corona virus has caused on everyone. When I called on Saturday 3/28 a representative said I'd have to pay 120$ right then for my account to be in good standing I asked to speak to cj she said he was busy I called twice after and was instructed to wait for his call. When I spoke to cj on 3/30 he reneged on the agreement and said I'd have to pay 100$ right then or I could do roughly 47$ for about 8 months, when I asked why he changed the initial offer he said he thought he could cancel out any fees and penalties. I questioned him again on why he made an offer as a manager he couldn't honor he said the order came from him But when he initially offered the payment plan to me he said he was able to get this payment plan approved which is also why it took him over a week to get back to me, then I asked him again Why he would offer me something he didn't get approved and he said he thought he could then he said he spoke To the boss and that the boss said to only wave 30%

Technician never left vehicle or did service, & forged my in laws signature on the report
Technician never left vehicle or did service, & forged my in laws signature on the report. Company didn't call back for months & will not refund us. Im filing a complaint about Insight Pest Solution because on 27 May they claimed via emailed receipt to have serviced my house in North Carolina on 23 May (the final service of a one year long contract). This service did not happen & the technician for Insight forged my Father's signature to sign off on the service record (he was in Colorado at this time and doesn't live with us, his name was signed to the prior service because our son was having brain surgery and my parents were watching the pets this is the only way they could have had his name to forge). My wife was home at the claimed time of service & stated that no one approached the house at anytime that morning. Our family dog also did not go into alert as he does when anyone approaches the house. Our neighbor's mother was sitting in her garage that morning. She stated that she saw the Insight truck drive to the house, no one left the truck, then it drove off after about 15 minutes. Upon calling Insight to dispute the charge through their company channels, my wife was met with no response, either via email or callback. Once I returned from deployment, I began the process of calling Insight. Over a one month period I was told that the incident it would be investigated & someone would be calling me about it. I never received a phone call from Insight, except from *** (Customer Service Rep) who checked to see if anyone had contacted me. After the fourth week of no calls, he put me in touch with a Manager named *** who then proceeded to state that if I suspected forgery I should've called the police, said that he was unable to determine the signature on the receipt of service (attached, clearly identifiable as *** for the first name), disputed the testimony from my wife & neighbor. After discussion we came to the agreement that they would process a new service on the property as a "Warranty Service" (which has still not occurred) & I opted out of a refund for the 23 May service. The only reason for not taking the refund was because as explained by , was that if the 23 May Service was refunded, their system would automatically schedule me for another appointment in September that I would have to pay for and there was no way to cancel that service without incurring a fee. Per , even if the investigation were to conclude a fraudulent service & invalidate the 23 May service, they would still reschedule me for a September service. As the company has acted in bad faith concerning fraudulent service & forgery of signatures and is essentially charging me either way for a service they didn't do or a service I don't need since the house will be sold in September and the buyers do not have a contract with this company and do not wish to have one we are filing a complaint with the Complaintsboard.com as well. Since the company has been unable to do anything about the fraudulent signature or offer a refund without charging us further, I initiated a dispute with the credit card company for the original charge.

Company did not provide service promised up front and then proceeded to bill me large cancellation fee
Company did not provide service promised up front and then proceeded to bill me large cancellation fee. *** from Insight came to my door on August 11 to solicit pest control services. My subdivision has a clear posted sign at the front of the neighborhood that soliciting is not allowed. However, due to the mild winter the previous year and the fact several lawns in my neighborhood are irrigated, we had a large problem with gnats so I decided to hear him out. I told him up front that I had a problem with gnats and I was not interested unless they could fix that problem. He said they would treat the yard, exterior of the home, garage and interior of the home. They will take care of any spiders, ants, wasps and flying insects. I once again asked if it would take care of the gnats because that was our only complaint and he confirmed it would take care of the gnat problem. He told me he would offer a "Special Price" if we signed up for one year. I went inside and spoke with my fiancee and we agreed that if they fix the gnat problem, it would be worth the cost. He showed me a copy of the contract on his iPad. Gnats are not listed on the contract so I asked the sales rep once again before I signed, "this will take care of the gnats, right? I just want to make sure that those are taken care of". He once again confirmed that their treatments would also treat for gnats so I entered my credit card info and signed. He then told me that he would send me a copy of the contract to review and if I changed my mind to let him know by the following day as they were going to come treat. I've attached a copy of the contract that he emailed to me. The company then came and treated the property on August 12. The technician was there for about an hour. I watched him spread a small amount of granular product in the yard, use a dewebbing tool to remove spider webs, spray the outside windows with chemicals and set up glue traps inside the house. Once he was finished, another technician showed up at the property and we were discussing the gnat problem. As we were talking, I once again told him "we have a serious gnat problem this summer and we don't know why". He said it's likely due to people over watering their lawns so they have a place to breed in the grass and said "this treatment will help". The company did say that that if the problem was not resolved in 2 weeks to call them back and they will come out again to retreat. After two weeks, we noticed zero change in the number in gnats. In fact, we saw an increase. We also saw no difference in the spiders in the garage or wasps on the property. I called the company on August 24,2020 and spoke with CJ Melvin. He advised he was a Supervisor. I told him we saw an increase in the gnats and wanted them to come retreat. He told me they do not treat for gnats. In fact, it's not even possible. He then proceeded to tell me that we likely having standing water or a dead animal carcass somewhere on or near our property and the gnats will not leave until that problem is taken care of but there is nothing they can do. I told him that the sales rep told me several times they would take care of the gnat problem. He then told me I should've read the contract more carefully as gnats are not a listed pest. He argued with me for 45 minutes before I finally told him I want to cancel my service. He told me they would charge me $250 to cancel the service after I had already paid $120 for the initial service. I told him that I didn't think it was fair to charge me another $250 on top of the money I already paid (which I was not asking for to be refunded) when I was lied to by the sales rep. He said if I didn't pay it I would be sent to collections and once I cancelled, there was nothing he could do for me. I told him I would be filing a complaint with the Complaintsboard.com if they charged me $250 for cancelling a service that I did not receive, as promised, up front. I've provided all of the documentation and correspondence I've received from the company to the complaint.

I was charged a $270 Early Termination Fee to cancel my service agreement, after my requests for retreatment and service cancellation were
I was charged a $270 Early Termination Fee to cancel my service agreement, after my requests for retreatment and service cancellation were ignored. In June , a sales representative from Insight Pest Solutions came to my home to solicit my business. He told me that Insight would eliminate the roaches and ants in my home, and would even get rid of the spiders, fire ants, and moles in my yard. He told me that there would be a discount on my initial treatment ($99 after discount), and that I would then receive quarterly treatments at a price of $119 per service afterward. The sales rep made it clear to me that I could request a retreatment if I was still seeing pest activity after a scheduled treatment, and he expressly told me that I could cancel my service if I wasn't satisfied after two treatments. He failed to inform me that he was signing me up for a year-long contract, there was a $100 early termination fee embedded in the user agreement, and that I would owe an additional $170 upon early termination to pay back the discount on the initial service. Furthermore, the sales rep signed the user agreement on my behalf before leaving my home, never giving me the chance to review or thoroughly read it. To reiterate, my signature is not on the user agreement I had with Insight Pest Solutions. In my opinion, this alone should invalidate the agreement. In July, I had my initial treatment performed. The technician sprayed under my sinks and then around the exterior of the house. This initial treatment worked fairly well, and the pest activity in our home dropped dramatically. Then, in August, I had my first quarterly treatment. This time, the technician did not enter my house and only treated the outside areas, and he even failed to knock down all the spider webs around my porch. I thought this visit was very unsatisfactory, since I was most concerned about the pests inside my home. Shortly after this second treatment, I started seeing roaches or a spider or a centipede on a daily basis inside my home. The fire ants in my yard were also just as prolific as ever. At this point, I emailed the regional branch coordinator, who had scheduled my initial treatment, to ask for a retreatment, as is provisioned in my user agreement. The coordinator ignored my request, and I never heard back from anyone about scheduling a retreat appointment. On September 10th, I emailed the customer service address listed on the Insight Pest Solutions website to request that my account be canceled. I explained at that point that my agreement should be null and void due to the fact that I did not sign it. This cancellation request was ignored as well, and on September 18th, I sent a follow-up email. Then, I finally received a reply from someone at Insight after weeks of silence. This person said that my account had been updated to reflect my cancellation request and that an account specialist would "contact me as soon as possible to provide further assistance (please note that your account will remain active until after speaking with an account specialist)." That never happened. Another month went by without any communication from Insight, until on October 26, when I received a phone call from someone there, seeking to schedule my next quarterly treatment. I told the person on the phone that I had canceled my account with Insight and I did not wish to schedule any further treatments. He took some more information from me on that call, then sent me a follow-up email informing me that I would owe the $270 fee. I wrote back to him, reiterating that I had previously attempted to cancel my service, that my request for retreatment had been ignored, and that I never signed my service agreement. I have not had any other calls or emails with Insight Since, but I received a bill in the mail this week for the $270 fee. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with Insight Pest Solutions' sales practices, customer service practices, and the effectiveness of their treatment products and technicians. I have already begun using another company for my pest control needs.

came today to service our home. Very friendly and professional. The service has worked very well for pest control and we have seen a definite improvement.
was here today on 12/21/22, and was great! She first explained the treatment she was going to do, spent over 1/2 hour outside around the house. When she was finished she explained her findings, that we have a few rodent access points. *** was very thorough and kind?
Very polite and knew her stuff and explained everything well
