Intex Recreation kristal clear 635 pump

Both a new Intex Kristal Clear 635T Pump last summer. I had to also buy all the adapter part hose parts so that it would fit the Intex Pool. The pump was used for 3 months and taken down for the winter and now it does not work. Took the pump apart and found a flimsy little ceramic "stick" for the impeller was broken. I cannot locate another one anyway. They should be a part that can be purchased from Intex but they are not. Most likely a $1 part but they do not want you to buy the impeller shaft - they want you to buy a new pump/filter. What a scam - never again. There SHOULD be a class action suit against them. I have now gone through 3 pump/filters for my Intex pool. I bought the 635 model because it was bigger and pumped more gallons. So even though more expensive I purchased it. Big mistake - piece of crap. Anyone hears of a lawsuit against Intel for the pump - count me in!

Intex Recreation purespa portable spa

We bought a Intex portable spa, it lasted about 4 months, & have not had any response from this company, I will never recommend any of their products as they do not answer your emails or phone calls. We are so upset over this as we kept getting Code E 90 which means pump problem, no one would ever help us...so big waste of money from what I read about this spa they have had several problems why was there not a recall ?Warranty is now up so someone needs to start a class action lawsuit against them as why so many problems with this spa?

This was the worst purchase I've ever had. Not because of the tub but because of the customer service after the fact.. Once my base unit broke down they really wanted nothing to do with me after sending me a faulty replacement base. I got electrocuted and they still won't call me back. Looking to file a class action lawsuit or at least small claims lawsuit at this point

Intex Recreation queen classic downy air bed

Bought the air bed in october at a wal mart used the bed once and one of the creases broke causing an air bubble in the bed. I took it to the store and they told me to call the company. I did. Some Chinese woman who spoke no English told me she needed a receipt. I didnt have one she said this bed doesn't have warranty its the one that is not covered by their warranty. So i asked her what i could do and she hangs up on me! I called one more time and a second Chinese woman answers the phone? Is the plant in China? Or do we have no English speaking people with manner who answer the phones?

I have the full sized air bed and it did the same thing. I have also had several of their air mattresses and they did the same thing. It is a flaw in their product. I emailed them twice to tell them of the problem but never got a response.

Intex Recreation purespa

We purchased a PureSpa SSP-10-1 inflatable spa a little over a year ago. I should have known that the price was too good to be true. Being in Florida, we used the system last winter for about 6 months and then cleaned-up and packed the system away for last summer. (weather here too hot to use)The system worked well for about 2 months again this winter and now we have gotten an error message (E90) for the past 3 weeks. The system will not stay on and warm up any longer. I did all the suggestions in the manual for the E90 error message and nothing works. Frustrated, I called customer service today and was told that I need to buy a new motor for the filter at a cost of $300+ dollars. I paid less than $400 for the whole spa just over a year ago and got only 8 months of use out of it. You get what you pay for. Do Not buy this product ... not worth it!

Intex Recreation pure spa bubble jet

Purchased item from local store on 12/14/2014. Used for 2 months. Took down and stored for summer. Put unit back up in November 7th 2015. Unit kept sending code E96. Called Intex and was told it was a base unit bad and they would send another to replace. Received it on November 16th 2015. Filled spa with water and turned system on. 3 days later unit was not heating water as the original did. Took forever to get to 100 degrees F. Called back to intex on the 20th of November 2015, still within the warranty period. Was told it don't heat well in climate area I'm located in. Well you should not sell it in my area then. Winters get 30 or so maybe a little colder, but unit should work fine as original did until it stopped. I talked to Amanda V. About as worthless a service rep as a turtle in a doughnut factory. Girl was unhelpful and didn't want to replace it, said that's the way it works. several weeks later with our cold climate of 55 degrees daily, LOL unit stopped working altogether. Called intex back on 1/16/2016 talked to Betsy. Told her unit stopped working code E95. She told me warranty was over and I told her I called and complained it wasn't working properly, she said nothing she could do. This company will provide any and all reasons for their crap to not work, any and all reasons for it to break and not replace it. So be warned, their junk is just that JUNK. China for ya. These employees of intex are just as bad as their product, JUNK.

Intex Recreation pure spa

I purchased a spa in May of 2014, by March of 2015 the whole control system died, I called Intex they did replace it but took almost a month to receive the replacement. So April of 2015 I received my replacement control system and now it is November of 2015, and I have the very same issue. I call "CUSTOMER SERVICE" and was told sorry the replacement control system does not have a warranty, past the date of purchase of the unit. So I guess there replacement systems are designed for 1 month of service. OH Yeah, , , the cost of the replacement system for my spa is $359.00 plus shipping. POOR that you do no not warranty the replacements you have to purchase

After only 8 months of total use, our filter stopped working; error message E90. After doing all the suggestions in the manual for the past 3 weeks, I called customer service only to be told that I need a new motor for $300+ NO WAY. What a piece of junk! Yes, you get what you pay for. DO NOT BUY ANY Intex products!

Yes, me too! In fact my spa has failed twice in 7m. They make it very difficult to get satisfaction through their warranty system, if it has a warranty at all. Cheap parts designed to last months. A supervisor for the company gave me the classic useless response "Sir, sounds like you got a bad apple." By the way not once, but twice! I repaired my own spa for about 10 bucks when they wanted to charge me to resend the whole pump base back 2000 plus miles at my cost! Or they gave me their preferred option to purchase one and they would ship it for 300 dollars plus. This is a China based company, if this is what they manufacture, I for one am not worried with their Aircraft Carrier they are building. Perhaps Intex can install a spa or pool on the deck to keep the crew comfortable. I will never purchase another product with their name on it again. I'm just getting started turning customers away.

Intex Recreation intex rectangular ultra frame pool - poles stuck to vinyl

We purchased this pool on 6/22/2015. Today is exactly 90 days since purchase which is within the warranty period. While dismantling for winter storage, we found that the metal poles which create the frame are stuck to the vinyl. I have called customer service at Intex 5 times to get this resolved. 3 times I spoke with someone who could not speak English well and we couldn't understand each other. They kept telling me to call back to get someone different. The third time I spoke with a man who was going to replace the liner and started a claim but he suddenly could not hear me and hung up. The fourth time I called I, again, reached someone who could not speak English well. The fifth time I got someone who spoke English and she asked if the pool was in the sun. She said that this happens and you have to use Vaseline and try to get the poles un-stuck. I told her it would take many hours to do (if it is at all possible to do) and she said that, yes, it will take a long time. She said it is not a defect and she wouldn't replace the liner. I told her that someone on-line got the liner replaced for this same exact problem and she just said "good for them". This is terrible customer service. I now have a pool that has 4 poles in it so I can't store it anywhere - it is 13.125" x 6.5625' x 39.375". I would like a new liner. I can cut the poles out and re-use them or a refund of $180.00.

Only used pool for 3 summer months. UNpacked from garage and rebilt it this date. After filling with water, one of the "T"brackets breaks and allows the horizontal pole to slip out of the bracket and spill out over 600 gallons of water...could not put the pole back into bracket with any support. Also, this problem cracked another Bracket... Not happy. Still waiting for INTEX to answer me back so I can send them all of the the details...their web site says 1,500 characters max so that means I have to wait for need an email...

Intex Recreation raised air bed

Bought a queen size air bed from a retailer, didn't use it for a year. Then my hubby and I pulled it out to use and it inflated well, looked ok. Three weeks into using it, and no we are not large people, it developed a bulge on one side that increased. I contacted their customer service dept to be told that there isn't any warranty of any kind on that "type" of product and no repair either. So, $75 down the drain for 3 weeks of product use. This was a queen size Rising Comfort Queen Air bed Model # AP619A. Absolute waste of money, and total disrespect for the consumers that buy them. Stay away! All I wanted was it replaced, or repaired. This company stinks and they're in the USA!

yep, same situation here but a couple small differences. 1. I purchased to identical air mattresses at the exact same time. 2. Both of mind bulged after only 1 night (not even a full night) each (and my wife and I are lightweights).

Oh, and if you emailed the company like i have done close to 50 times, don't you just love the response of:

"Agent response - Unfortunately, your particular situation cannot be resolved via email due to missing information or further actions required on by us. Please contact an Intex agent for assistance at [protected].
Have we answered your question(s)? If you have further question(s), please click here to be redirected to our Email Support page again. "

So, you spend a good amount of time typing up a detailed message to get an automated response (regardless of reason for submitting their form or information you provide them) saying "we can't help, don't reply to this message as we won't listen or forward it and oh, if we didn't answer your question you can resubmit the same exact form again".

They've treated me like complete *hit every single time i called or emailed them! This company is the epitome of garbage.

We have the same model / size and it started leaking after 3 uses (one night each). I took outside, inflated it and sprayed it down with soapy water, cannot find any leaks. I also have had not luck with customer service. I agree that it is a waste of money.

Intex Recreation pool pump

Filter pump failed and a claim was filed which was ignored. After repeated efforts to get the pump replaced the claim was denied because it was more than 90 days after purchase. However, it failed during the first 90 days and I filed the initial claim during the 1st 90 days. Intex claimed they did not receive the faxed claim. I refiled using scanned information that was uploaded per their instructions. This claim was denied for the same reason. I protested and the representative informed me that the filter pump was warranted for 12 months. So he reopened the claim which Intex promptly denied for the same out of warranty excuse!
This is not an honorable company! It does not cover their products from failure as promised. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Intex Recreation inflatable spa

Purchased this unit from Wal-Mart but it has been problematic since I opened and assembled. The Spa thermostat would not control or activate either high temp or low temperature. I could not turn the pump on without the air bubbles activating... took me about 6 months to communicate and finally get a replacement component. Everything worked fine for about 2-months and it happened again... When contacting the intex company, they ignored the prior problems which were identical and stated that the unit was now out of warranty. . claim#426507 and wouldn't stand behind their product. Instead, they offer a replacement part for the total sum of $378.00. The entire system cost $495.00... I will never buy an intex product again.. Wyatt Swaim

Intex Recreation defective

10' x 30" Summer splash pool assembled and filled 7/2/15. By 7/15/15 one side had bulged out well over 2 feet. The top air ring was a narrow oval and leaks detected. Upon emptying pool, over 20 slits and numerous pin holes were discovered in the bottom of the pool. Photos show where the original 9'5" base of pool had expanded to 11'1" .
My attempt to get a store credit or any satisfaction from Walmart was futile.I was told the 90 day return policy stated on their website did not apply. I was then asked if I'd like to donate it... so I promptly did "donate" it to the manager of Goodyear, AZ Walmart.
I realize that as a 'sale' item it may have been last year's stock, but it was obvious to me that it was defective or stored in the sun. My $69.00+tax just down the drain. NOT good company policy or anything decent to do to a Great-grandmother on SSI. I want a refund.

Intex Recreation made hazardous & defective.

This pool is a hazard! It will cause injuries!
I have used 3 previous 10' x 30" Intex Easy Set Pools.
At the end of last summer I purchased a 12' x 36" Easy Set Pool for this summer.
When we set this 12' x 36" pool up this July, we discovered the top tube was much smaller than the ones on the 10" x 30" pools and it was was sewn together improperly where the top blow up tube is attached to the bottom part of the pool. The ragged edges show on the inside of the pool even when you blow up the top tube. The top tube does not stand up...it lays on the outside of the bottom part of the pool.
If you even slightly lean on this tube the water forms a waterfall and you flow right out of the pool.
There was an injury with someone on a floating device who flowed right out of the pool because of this defect. There was an injury!
This pool was purchased at Amazon through Windy City Superstore.
Because this product is out of the warranty time frame neither company will address the issue of this defective hazardous pool.
I will be contacting Intex...however I have not seen any good review on this company.
I believe this pool should be replaced with a properly made pool. The pool I received is unusable and dangerous!
