refund
On June 6th 2017 I ordered Kensie perfume from Ipsy, the same day I emailed to cancel the order.
The following day Ipsy sent an email stating that the item was already being processed by the warehouse.
On June 10th I received an email stating that my package was ready for shipment. another email on June 13th stating that the product has shipped.
The product arrived on June 16th I sent an email requesting a return label.
After multiple emails to Ipsy I finally received a response on June 22nd from JJ stating that they had been "out of the office" and "luckily returning an item in good condition is super easy" although I won't be charged for shipping a $5 restocking fee will be deducted.
According the tracking information Ipsy receive the item on July 7th. Today is July 19 and I have yet to receive my refund.
Terrible customer service!
crap products, empty bottles, broken promises
I would like to permanently cancel my Ipsy subscription this is a joke you send a couple of samples, mostly empty bottles and the last few months have been utterly ridiculous. Two months ago I was sent a package and told it needed thrown away and you would send something to make up for it, that never happened. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, do not charge my card again and do not send any further. Thanks for the empty bottles of hand lotion lol. Wow!
Very long time disappointed customer!

unreceived product
I would just love to have my product, y'all withdrew the $10 bucks out of my bank account but I've failed to receive my Ipsy bag. Yes Ive changed my address but that shouldn't matter, I cancelled my card because I lost it but used my husband's card, y'all still took our money out. I love ipsy and their products I would still love to be a member but all of my friends have gotten their bags, I would like mine or my money back. Thank you. Have a great day 😊
never got chance to customize
As a woman of color, I find most of the Ipsy products useless. The generic products may be nice in quality, but I find myself giving away just about everything I receive!
The concept is awesome, but practical only when useful! I can even excuse the occasional cheap makeup bags, but I was not initially made aware that there was a customized option until over a year into the subscription...and then, there are NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to even modify my subscription!
If I can't customize, I want OUT--after almost two years of trying to figure out how to reach a voice/person!
HELP!
not received package yet:fedex tracking:9274899988866351869322
Hi I had subscribed for ipsy and my first month 10 dollars was deducted from my account on 15-June. I got the fedex tracking number on 21 june and the status is still 'Shipment information sent to FedEx '. I contacted Fedex and they mentioned that the package is still not reached them.
I want a refund of the package that was never shipped to me. This is very annoying and i subscribed to it only coz i heard good reviews. Due to the shipping delay, i already cancelled my subscription but neither have i got my first package nor the refund it it. Please look into this immediately. Thanks!
off the waiting list
I don't have fb or Twitter only it and snap so how am I gonna pay upfront and not given a chance to get off the waiting list...as i have a job in marketing this seems like total bs "waiting list" ...im a new customer and I already don't like the way you choose to treat your customers ...i also tried to call in customer care to just get a FU we don't take calls ...my first bag better be impressive or I'm going to Burch box
fail to receive product
I have been with ipsy for quite some time now and have had no complaints up until this month . In may I redeemed 500 points for a Wet n Wild Rebel Rose matte lipstick . I was told it will be coming in my next bag however it was no in my package as I opened it . I would like either my points back or the product I was promised . I would hate to leave a company that's otherwise shown greatness, but maybe my time with ipsy is up and another company will be more professional .
product
My ipsy bag tracking has not changed and said that it would come today June 7th and my mail came and I have no ipsy bag! I am very upset with this! I wanna know what is going on. Either ur tracking needs to be fixed or something didn't get shipped like it was supposed to! I am very unhappy this month. I am ok if the date would've changed but not showing up upsets me!
refusal to cancel my subscription
I have been trying to cancel my Ipsy subscription for MONTHS now. There is no phone number to call to talk to an actual person, because they feel "their best customer service is done by email." Which is garbage.
The website prompts you to cancel your subscription inside your account, which I did. It then says that in order to confirm the cancelation you must confirm via the automated email sent from Ipsy. I have tried on multiple occasions and NEVER receive the cancellation confirmation email. I have triple checked all of my mailboxes and made sure that my email address on the account is correct, and it is.
This is EXTREMELY frustrating as I pay over $10 a month for a service that I don't like and don't appreciate the product. Really all I want is to CANCEL the subscription, but a refund for the past 3 nmonths would be nice as I have been submitting these cancelation requests since March.
i am sick to my stomach of being charged and receive nothing except here and there and never ever wanted to be apart of such a place like this please refund all my money you took out of my account as i say illegally. sincerely, brenda debolt
april bag!!
I have had a subscription for quite some time. Last month my bag was shipped back due to USPS. I contacted customer service and they said said that they would mail me another. That took until the beginning of May. After waiting almost nearly a month for them to send my package for April. I receive a used bag with you samples make up covered all over the inside of my bag the front of the back has scuff marks they sent me for products that are very very crappy. I didn't even receive a brush. I got someone's left overs. I'm livid!
I had subscribed with Ipsy a few years ago and had two subscriptions one for my daughter and one for myself, in the beginning several months I was happy with the product but as time went on I was receiving so many items that were not anywhere close to my profile and The items that were sent that was in a lotion or liquid form were oxidized and had unpleasant Odors . I was receiving items that I didn’t really find interesting or had any use for . So I cancelled, I recently signed up again to try again but this was a mistake and should have just not got involved with their deceptive marketing strategies as well as deceptive marketing . They do not honor your request to cancel my subscription and promptly refund my money . I paid in February for two glam bags one of them a full size glam bag plus And the other a regular glam bag . I canceled my subscription and asked for a refund, i got charged for a third glam bag without receiving the ones in question they didn’t honor my cancellation instead they charged me for another glam bag, I received a response that they are sorry but they had already shipped the third glam bag and it will arrive soon . I contacted them again abc told them I do not want the glam bag I want my money . Their response was it was too late that they will refund one regular size glam bag and the plus bag was already on its way . I asked again, to refund. My money, their response was they are sorry but I had passed the 15 day refund policy and they can’t not issue me a refund .! I’m so mad will send me a glam bag and they will refund one regular glam bag, I asked them a 5th time to promptly refund my money ! This company hopes that you will just go away because of the trouble and frustration involved with getting a refund ! Ok they are joke! They should not be selling anyone anything !
They are liars and bad business for consumers! !

not receiving my bag
On 4/14 my tracking finally updated saying my package would be delivered on 4/15 and it never came...i go back on line this morning and now it doesnt say anything. I call Fedex and Fedex smartpost only to be told they dont have my package to call usps. So i call them only to be told thst they also do not have it. This makes me really upset because I should have my bag by now. Not only that I went through this same thing last month and didn't even get my bag even though it keep saying that it was delivered. I not paying your company every month just for nothing and I expect to receive what I payed for and this is not happening!
subscription process
I recently signed up for Ipsy. I was in between using them or Birchbox. I wish I had done better research prior to making my decision. I chose Ipsy because it looked like they were giving out in their monthly bag samples of products from various cosmetic companies that I like an use regularly. I created an account, filled out the product evaluation quiz and input my credit card number ( yes, I admit that was idiotic). It wasn't until after that when I learned that in order to receive a "Glam Bag" you are out on a wait list. I instantly got mad because how can I order a product or service, give you my credit card info with intent to pay for said service, and be told that I have to wait. Then, I see this message where I "skip the wait" but in order to do so, I have to share their post on social media. I'm sorry, but one thing I don't do and that is clutter my Facebook page with clutter. I don't share junk posts, I don't link any other games or accounts to Facebook, and I am sure as heck not going to promote a company that I haven't even received a product from. So I contacted Ipsy customer service via email and asked them to cancel my subscription and delete my profile due to their shady business practices. I received a form-letter style reply stating that was not their intent, they do not require me to advertise on social media...etc. They assured me I would receive a box next month. I replied and requested cancellation yet again. I received a confirmation reply of this action. You better believe that I will be double checking my bank account to make sure they are not withdrawling anything. They don't want a phone call from me.
never received my nail products
When you join www.ipsy.com you get a quiz where you need to pick some beauty brands and products you want to receive. I also had this quiz and was very excited to receive my first bag. When it finally arrived there were only things that I'd never use. Nothing that I picked up was in the bag! I gave them a second chance, but the same thing happened with the second bag! I wanted to get nail products, but received only makeup products. I'm out of here!
disappointing
I'm tired of Ipsy and I am cancelling my subscription! Filling out the personalized quiz is just a waste time because the bags I received were never personalized! Their beauty consultants should put more effort into reading the profiles of customers. I wanted to get a lipstick and some perfume. When I filled out the quiz I mentioned that I absolutely don't want brow pencils and blushes! And guess what, they sent me products that I never needed! Once I discovered their messed up business practice I decided to cancel. Horrible service!
save your time!
I tried to be patient but today I cancelled my subscription! Ipsy is just a waste of time and money. Filling out the personalized quiz was a complete waste of time because the bags I received were never personalized! I have blond hair and pale skin and I received black and dark brown eyebrow pencils! What kind of personalization is that? And the lip colors are never vibrant, matte, or adventurous! I received horrible lipsticks! Bland, stale colors that you can just gift to your grandmother. Save you precious time and avoid ipsy!
don't do it!
A friend of mine was a big fan of ipsy and told me about it. So I decided to try it and order something for myself. I love trying new products and I was very excited about my future purchase. Ipsy looked like a very reputable company. I started the sign up process on their website, answered the beauty questionnaire, and just as I was about to give my credit card info I decided to check some reviews. I'm so happy I did and never ordered anything from this scam company! My friend did order and now she hates ipsy, because they took her money and never delivered the product. That was her last purchase from ipsy.
this site is pretty useless.
When you join this site you need to take a test, you need to tell them what products you want or don’t want. They claim about everything being "personalized, " and "you will get what you want, " but they don't even look at the test you take! I specifically put that I don't want anything that has to do with nails or lips. But they send me information only about nail and lip products! I've been signed up for five months and I already have accumulated around 20 products just from that category. I’m interested in eye shadows, but they never send me anything about it. This site is pretty useless.
terrible company!
I made an order, but decided that I want to cancel it. So I tried to find their number to cancel it, but of course they had no phone number! I believe it was done on purpose making it difficult to get in contact with them. But I was lucky and found their email, I successfully cancelled my order and even got a message confirming that. This was around October 7 th. But then they charged $15 from my credit card. After many emails there was no response from them. So I had no other choice and I deleted my account. But that was not the end. They still had my baking information, so every week they charged $5 from my card. Then, few days ago I finally received my package, seems like it never was cancelled. Well, thanks for that, but why are they continuing stealing my money? Very sneaky company. It's impossible to cancel an order and I bet the same is with the account. Terrible company!
they overcharged me and bag missed some stuff
I ordered Glam Bag from the company www.ipsy.com. Its price was about $15, but these jerks charged me for $50. I have no idea for what. I received the bag, but it didn’t contain all necessary stuff. I sent several emails to the seller and asked about money and missing stuff. The seller only told that they did everything correctly and there wasn’t any problem. He didn’t listen to me. The worst company ever, so avoid these ### and post comments about your experience with them.
mistreatment of customers, unprofessional behavior
My name is Chelsea Hoffman and I was a subscriber to Ipsy for a few months and a heavy participant on their Facebook page. I frequently wrote positive reviews about them and referred numerous people to their service. However, on 8/18/2013 when I offered to give away some new urban decay lipsticks to others on the community, Ipsy deleted my subscription from...
