No respect for customer. Very bad store to deal with.
I went to Jag's Furniture & Mattress and it was a total disaster. The staff there didn't care about me at all. They treated me like I was nothing. It was a terrible experience.
First of all, the store was a mess. There were things everywhere and it was hard to find what I was looking for. The staff didn't even bother to help me. They just stood around and ignored me.
When I finally found something I liked, the staff didn't give me any information about it. They didn't tell me the price or if it was in stock. It was like they didn't want me to buy anything.
I tried to ask for help, but the staff just brushed me off. They didn't listen to me and didn't care about my needs. It was so frustrating.
In the end, I left the store empty-handed and extremely disappointed. I will never go back to Jag's Furniture & Mattress again. They have no respect for their customers and it's a terrible place to do business with.

We saved our money to buy a new couch. We were told it was gray, even though it looked green in the store. The salesperson said it was just the lights. When we got it home, it was definitely green. We've had it for 2 weeks now and we're still trying to get used to the color. We went back to the store to return it after 4 days, but they said all sales are final due to Covid. We weren't told it was a final sale, but it says so on the invoice. We were even planning to buy another product of higher value, but they still wouldn't accept the return. It makes us wonder, what happens when customers sit on the furniture in the store? Is it taken off the floor because of Covid? We will never go back to this store.

In December, I went to order another nightstand and they charged me over $120 more for the same nightstand. They said it was because of covid "***" unquote. I was really mad and disappointed. I still bought the nightstand at that time. I called my salesperson Joe and asked for a refund, but he said it was a final sale and impossible to do. They have a drawer full of pre-stamped blank invoices with "Final Sale" on them. I'm really upset about Jags' customer service and satisfaction. They only care about their profits and not at all about their customers. Very disappointing. I don't recommend this store.

Our whole house needed furniture. The process was easy with his help and knowledge. My family and I were really impressed by the steps Jags furniture took during this pandemic. One on one appointments, lots of sanitizing stations in the store, and barriers to keep distance. It was nice to know they cared about our health! The delivery staff were just as great. We got a call in the morning with an estimated delivery time. Our furniture was delivered right on time! The staff also took the time to place the furniture in the center and make it look nice with the rest of the room. We also want to thank Gurp for checking in with us after the delivery! Our overall experience at Jags Furniture was amazing! We will definitely come back again.

The furniture at Jag's Furniture & Mattress is good, but I wouldn't recommend getting it delivered. They came to deliver a bedroom set on April 13, 2022. The crew brought everything up to our unit on the top floor from the ground floor. There was a loud thud sound near the elevator area, so my husband went to check on it. The crew had stacked everything against the wall and floor beside the elevator and said everything was fine. They finished setting up inside our apartment, took away all the empty boxes and materials, and left.
After they left, I went out and noticed scratches and a hole in the wall beside the elevator. The stacked items had covered up the hole when my husband went to investigate the thud, so we didn't see it at first. The hole wasn't there before the crew arrived. We contacted the store and they said the warehouse manager spoke to the drivers, who denied causing any damage. They believed the drivers instead of trusting a customer who had just spent a lot of money at their store. It's frustrating that they won't take responsibility for the damages. I suggest avoiding delivery from this company to avoid being held accountable for damages they won't acknowledge.

We went to the Langley store to find a bed. We liked one and wanted to look around, but the salesperson, Lucky, was very pushy and almost forced us to buy the bed right away, which we did! We scheduled a delivery for almost 4 weeks after the purchase date. After spending about $2000 on the bed, I did some research on my own and found a better deal somewhere else. I immediately called Lucky to see if I could cancel the order, and all his initial politeness vanished! He said all sales were final due to covid! But the bed hasn't even been delivered yet, so how does covid affect the sale? He then bluntly told me he couldn't do anything, so I asked to speak with a manager. He said they don't have a manager, just the owner! I requested to speak with the owner, but he said he couldn't connect me. I asked for the owner's name, and he said it's the same as the store's name. I asked if it was "Jag's Furniture and Mattress," and he said yes and hung up! Terrible customer service! They only care about their bottom line after sweet-talking you before the sale. I was just asking about the possibility of canceling, and they treated me horribly! They will force the sale on you! Now I'm worried if this review will affect my delivery. Please think twice before spending your hard-earned money on their furniture! It was the worst experience ever. I would have given them negative stars if I could!

On Jan 5 2020, we ordered a sectional from Jag's Furniture in Abbotsford, B.C. through Sandy, the safesperson. This order process was very rushed but we went ahead believing she was knowledgeable in her 'field'. She didn't advice or question about any measurements of our elevator or stairwell. When the item was about to be delivered to our 2nd floor condo, "Jag's Furniture" delivery person stated, "it's impossible" to be delivered even after several attempts (stairwell OR elevator). We immediately called Sandy and were blamed and disrepected. We then called "Jag", the owner of "Jag's Furniture", and he yelled, blamed and called us down taking NO responsibility for their error. Since we were treated soo very disrepectfully, we vowed NEVER to do further business with them again. We thought getting our refund would be simple BUT that's when the disrespect turned to outright cruelty. Since we KNEW, NO delivery or setup was done, we KNEW "no restocking fee" should apply. It's not that we changed our mind OR refused delivery - it was simply "impossible" to deliver this product (as the delivery person clearly stated several times)! We then tried to talk amiacably with Jag, the owner, but he was NOT willing to negotiate and kept blaming us with cruel disrespect. Instead, we were threatened with NO REFUND at all - he told us to 'take legal action'. We realized what we were dealing with and that we were forced and intimidated to accept his beligerant words and actions otherwise we'd receive NO refund at all (his words). We ended up paying "Restocking Fee, Delivery & Setup Fee" which should not be applicable in this case. Anyone thinking of 'doing business' with "Jag's Furniture" in Abbotsford, B.C., PLEASE BEWARE of their treatment of 'customer concerns'.

I went to Jags during Boxing Week to get a new couch for my family. The prices were great and they had good savings, so we decided to buy. Komal, the salesperson, was nice and helped us right away. But then things went downhill. We asked about the couch and when it would be delivered. Komal said it would be guaranteed by January 12th, at the latest January 20th. We were happy with that, so we bought it. January 20th came and we hadn't heard anything, so I called to ask about the delivery time. The lady on the phone said, "Oh, the delivery date is now February 5th." It would have been nice to know earlier. I told her we sold our old couch in anticipation of the new one. February 5th arrived and I thought, surely it won't be delayed again. But nope. I had to call again to ask where my couch was. They said, "Your delivery is now on February 25th." No apologies, just that. I told them how terrible their customer service was. They didn't update me on the delivery and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. I was given three different guaranteed delivery dates with no updates. After that call, the lady called me back to say her manager guaranteed the delivery on February 25th. I thought, great, the manager stepped in. She also promised to call me with updates. Today is February 25th. My partner called this afternoon to ask about the delivery. The lady on the phone said, "The new delivery date is the end of March or mid-April." We canceled our order. It's not about the couch or the money, it's about the customer service. This is the worst treatment I've ever received as a customer, especially for our first big furniture purchase. Customer service should continue after the purchase, and Jags failed in that regard. Do not buy furniture from Jags in Abbotsford. The staff is unprofessional. They didn't compensate us for the inconvenience caused by their lies. They didn't show any care for the customer, and I will never recommend them as a reliable furniture seller.

We bought a bed frame in early September and it got delivered on September 18. When the delivery guys, who also put the bed together, left, there were a lot of issues. There was garbage from the packaging left in our front yard and on the street in front of our house. There were ball bearings, washers, and screws left under the bed, and randomly on the floor in the room, and it seems like some ball bearings were missing. The slats, the ones that support the mattress, were not screwed down on one side of the bed. The bed frame has 4 drawers. One of them was damaged (maybe from a loud noise that I heard) and the delivery guy noted it. None of the 4 drawers open smoothly, some don't open at all. We reported all of this on the day of delivery, along with photos to show the sloppy work. The company said their repairman would come to check things out. We couldn't schedule it until October 6th. He came, made notes, and said he would order parts. When I talked to Ankita, their customer service person, she said the parts should arrive around November 12th. Well, November 12th came and went without any word from Jag's. I waited about a week before calling to check. Ankita then told me it would be another 4-5 weeks. She said Covid was the reason for the delay. Whether that's true or not, I don't understand why she didn't call to let me know about the delay. At that time, I told Ankita how disappointed we were with Jag's service. I asked to speak to her manager. As I saw in another complaint, I was told he was "at the warehouse", but she said he would call me. He didn't call. I called a few days later and asked about it. Ankita had me wait while she contacted him, and when she came back to the phone, she said he would call me that Saturday evening. This would have been in late November. I have called and asked so many times for the manager to call me. Ankita seemed surprised that he hadn't called when he said he would. So it seems like he's not doing his job properly, he's making the frustrations worse and lying to her and his customers. I let her know how upsetting this has been for us. We spent our hard-earned money on a purchase that was supposed to bring us joy, but instead, it's just frustrating. We already dislike our purchase and we haven't been able to fully enjoy it. I told her that since this has been going on for months, some kind of refund or discount would be appropriate. Still no word from the manager. They have never called to offer information or apologies. I have had to call them every step of the way to find out what's happening. The manager finally offered us (through Ankita) a $100 credit to spend in the store. Unbelievably, after such terrible service, he thinks we would ever shop there again. I told her that was a terrible offer and he needs to do better. She said that because we got a "good price" on the bed, there's nothing else they can do. She agreed that employee pricing is lower than what I paid. If they can accept less payment from an employee, they should be able to refund us a portion of our payment as a small token of compensation for all the hassle. There's a middle ground between what we paid and employee cost, at the very least. Once again, I asked Ankita to have the manager call me. Does he care so little about his customers and his reputation that he can't be bothered to fix his company's own mess? Still no word from this manager. It doesn't seem like he knows how to manage. ALL OF THIS is because of the delivery drivers and assemblers who did subpar and inadequate work. If it's such a problem, maybe they should be the ones losing money. They caused this situation with their unprofessionalism. It's now January. I received a text from (I think) our initial salesman 1 week ago. His text says "We will replace the bed for you." Since we weren't supposed to get a whole new bed, just the parts, this was surprising. I had to ask for clarification. I got a one-word response: "Parts." After 4 months of this terrible situation, someone is supposed to come in 2 days to fix the bed. A few hours ago, I texted the salesman to ask who is coming to do the job. Is it ***, who I was told 4 months ago would handle the repair, or the same people who caused the problem in the first place. I haven't gotten a response yet. I will never shop at Jag's again. If anyone I know is looking for furniture, I might not have any good suggestions, but I will definitely tell them not to shop there. STAY AWAY FROM JAG'S IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF SERVICE.

Well, the handle finally showed up a month later, but the technician never called. I'm not happy about this at all. I want this fixed, and I want it done soon. I bought and paid for my furniture from Jag's Furniture & Mattress on Jan 22, 2023. The total invoice amount was over $5000. They had everything in stock when I bought it. But then they delayed the delivery by half a week. And when they finally delivered it, a coffee table was missing. They said it was damaged and needed to order a new one. It's been almost 5 months now, and despite sending them back-to-back emails, I haven't gotten anywhere. They keep pushing back the estimated time of arrival for the additional table. This is not acceptable. The quality of the table set is poor, and they haven't given me the complete set that I paid for. They offered to let me have a floor model, but they won't provide a warranty for it. I paid extra for the warranty, so once again, this is not acceptable. When I asked if I could return the parts of the set I did receive, they declined and kept saying it's in transit. According to them, it's been in transit for months. I'm very disappointed.

In March , one of the recliners on the couch stopped working. We tried to make a claim, but it got denied because we made a mistake with the date, and they said it had been "over 30 days since the damage happened." It seems a bit silly since the couch itself has a 5-year warranty. I called the customer service lady, Ankita, who handles the warranty, and she told us to wait a few weeks and then make the claim again with a date within 30 days. So, on May 15, we did that, but we haven't heard anything about the warranty since then. On May 30, I sent an email to follow up, and Ankita said it could take up to 45 days for the warranty claim to go through. I followed up again on July 4, July 7, and August 4, but I haven't received any communication since then. All I want is for my couch to be fixed or for the $580 recliner to be replaced.

I bought a couch from Jag's Furniture & Mattress on January 9th. When it arrived, one part was broken and another part was made incorrectly. It's a storage piece with a table top that's supposed to fit into a hole. However, the table top is cut slightly too long, so it doesn't sit flat in the hole. The delivery guys told me to call and get it fixed. I called, but they told me to email instead. So, I sent them an email with pictures and a video showing the issue. They said someone would come out to fix it. But then they emailed me back and said they wouldn't fix it because the floor model had the same problem.
Eventually, a repair guy came to my place. He said he was there to fix a tear, even though there was no tear. I told him that the mechanism was broken. He looked at it, took a picture, and said he would order a part. Then he left. I didn't hear anything from them until I emailed them on March 11th to say that I wanted to return the couch and get a refund. By that time, all three seats on the couch had broken. So, when you sit on it, you end up sinking into a hole that's hard to get out of. They replied to my email and said that their repair person would look at it once the part for the side piece arrived. I didn't even mention that the material is starting to pill.
Overall, my experience with Jag's Furniture & Mattress has been disappointing. The couch I bought arrived with broken and improperly made parts. The customer service has been slow and unhelpful. I'm now dealing with multiple issues, including the broken mechanism and pilling material. I hope they can resolve these problems soon.

Im writing this to inform other customers and to have a supervior/owner/franchisee notice my situation/experience from their store/employees. Sept 25 i came into the store looking for new furniture, specifically a sectional that was not in stock at jags and other retailers in the lower mainland. The follow day i called to put a deposit to confirm purchase, aswell asking for the same sales rep. Ive dealt with the previous day. I was informed oct 26, will be arrival/delivery date - in consideration of covid 5-10 days delay) from this date. I returned back to the store langley (headquarters of jags) oct 21 planning to clear full amount to avoid any further delays. (Aswell i was inform *** was not an option for payment, website states other wise). I also mentioned if they would match competitors price *** same model, color and brand. Was advised cannot match (***), requested for headquarters supervior/manager/owner which i was denied of or any contact for explanation. I agree jags is out of stock aswell as other retailers but as advertised "When it comes to service, selection and price, nobody beats Jag's!" False advertisement ? Arrival date has been changed again to nov 15 and final invoice states final sale (no returns/refunds). If headquarters can see this please contact me and hopefully we can resolve this issue (full refund or price match / explanation).

We bought a couch and loveseat from Jag's Furniture on October 10. The salesman said that because of Covid, lots of couches were taking 12 weeks to come in. We said we weren't interested because we saw another couch at a different store that could be delivered in 6 weeks. Then he said he was wrong and it should only take 8 weeks. He said he would give us the warranty for free to make up for the extra time. We did the paperwork and when we paid, the guy at the counter said it might be closer to 9 weeks. Not great, but we were okay with it because we would have the new couch for Christmas. But after 11 weeks (no new couch for Christmas) and no word from Jag's, I called them to see what was happening. The salesman said it's scheduled to leave the manufacturers on February 2. I told him that's not acceptable and I want to cancel my order and get a full refund. He said he has to check if it's in production first. I assume if it's not leaving the factory for another 5 weeks, it's not already in production. I called him the next day to see what the company said and he said he hasn't heard back from them.

My mom (***) bought this table on Sept 23/21. When it arrived in Oct/21 and I assembled it, I noticed that the table was damaged. I have sent many emails and made several calls to get it fixed. At first, they said the repair company couldn't fix it and offered me a $50 credit, which was insulting. Then they said the repair company could fix it and would contact me in Feb/March. It's now June and I still haven't heard anything about fixing my table. On June 21, I emailed them again, asking for a refund and to return the table. No surprise, I haven't received a response. I'm tired of their empty promises and the repair company not contacting me. I believe the table is discontinued and I only bought it because it was cheaper, despite the shipping charges. If I had known about their terrible customer service and refusal to refund damaged items, I wouldn't have bought from them. This feels like a scam that will never be resolved. The repair company in Calgary said they would only stain the top and sides of the table, not the legs. I raised this concern with Jag's Furniture and they offered me $100 off to keep the table as is. It's clear they don't want the table back or to give me a full refund. The boss thinks $50 or $100 off is enough. I'm done with their games. I want the table returned and a full refund. They're taking forever to fix this issue!

Thank you for reading my concern. I recently had a warranty claim approved by JAGS Furniture and Mattress for $1510.xx. The Customer Service person, Fiza, told me they didn't have the same mattress I bought and asked me to choose a new one and pay the difference if there was any. I agreed and went to the store to pick a new mattress. We found one priced at $2098 with a 20% discount, as shown in the pictures I attached in the email. However, JAGS Furniture and Mattress refused to sell me the mattress at the advertised price, saying I couldn't use my credit towards it, which doesn't seem fair. Any other customer could buy the same mattress for $2098 minus 20%, but not me. When I asked if I could buy the mattress without using my warranty credit, they said I could get the sale price. I don't understand why I'm not entitled to the same price as everyone else. I think there's something fishy going on with their business practices, and I'm considering seeking assistance from ComplaintsBoard.com. I've tried everything, and I feel this is unfair. Now I have to deal with a dealer who won't honor their advertised price, even though I followed their instructions. This is the second time I've had issues with this Dealer regarding a mattress. The first mattress they sold me didn't fit the bedframe they sold, so it had to be replaced, which was their mistake. I had to make my own repairs to the bed frame and spend more money to buy another mattress. It seems like there's a pattern of this business not honoring their service. I bought 2 brand new reclining chairs in september. On june 30th I sent an email to jags explaining that one of the chirs had a defect. That one of the arms had collapsed underneath the material. Ia lso explained on the same chair that that on the front of the arm rests on both sides had also buckled inwards. Jags sent a repair guy who stated this was a defect and was not repairable and the chair needed to be replaced. I contacted jags and was told by their employee ankika to make a claim through the extended warranty even though the chair was in the first year warranty. The warranty company declined the claim. Jags are now refusing to repair the chair or replace it stating it is wear and tear. If it was wear and tear the other chair would have broken the same way. It cannot be wear and tear on a 9 month old chair that cost over $1100. This chair has a manufacturing defect and is not fit for purpose. Jags reached out to the manufacturer they are refusing the claim stating it is wear and tear. The manager is refusing to speak to me I have been trying for sometime and he does not take my calls. His employee ankika made it clear today the manager has told her he is not going to do anything further to assist me. All I want is a repair or a replacement. When I complained this chair was within its first years warranty and I have the emails to prove this communication. I am shocked that this company would treat a valued customer this way and refuse to come up with a solution. I have rights and they have a responsibility to come up with a solution. Especially on a chair that was less than 1 year old and was in their warranty period to fix from the store.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
