At 12:15 got notice that it was out for delivery. I went downstairs to wait for the drive inside on the side of the building where the deliveries are made. Build is 1201 Elmwood Park Blvd. Two to five minutes away from the Jimmy Johns in question. At 12:35 I went back upstairs and told the receptionist to give me a call when the driver got there. When I looked at my phone, I saw I had missed a call at 12:26. Called the number back there was not answer. Called Jimmy Johns [protected] to tell them I had not received my sandwich. The lady on the phone said yes, the drive is out for delivery. I waited until 1:10 to call back. A lady answered and I asked to speak to a manager. She handed me off to a male. I told him that I was waiting for a delivery. He said the drive called you twice and there was no answer, so I don't know what to tell you. He said this with an attitude. I asked him if he was the manager and why did he not care that I didn't get my sandwich. At that point he said he was not the manager. It was the drive I was speaking to. I did get upset and said I wanted to speak to a manager. A lady answered the phone and said she was an assistant manager. I told her what had happened, and she did not really say anything back. I asked her to refund me the sandwich and that I would not want someone like that driver representing Jimmy Johns. I asked for a refund. I would also like the delivery fee and tip for a told of $13.93 put back on my card. Looking at the bank statement I was charged two times $11.93.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and a call. The manager of the store needs to take care of the customers when they call with a complaint when a drive does not even make an effort to deliver the sandwich.
