Joe's Crab Shack Pickup order - false advertisement

I just went to your Clearwater Florida location, I ordered a snow crab basket, broccoli and rice. I received only ONE snow crab leg cluster. It did not include corn or potatoes as pictured. I called to ask for a refund since I am visiting from out of town, and was told that I couldn’t get one because the general manager wasn’t in. I let the guy on the phone know that I was in from out of town and had no way to come back to pick up the order for them to “fix it” and he again told me I would need to speech with the general manager in the morning. Why are the employees unable to perform refunds? And when can I expect to receive my refund?

Claimed loss: I would like a full refund for the snow crab leg bucket that contained only one snow crab leg cluster

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for the snow crab basket and a response with confirmation of the refund

Joe's Crab Shack Repeated charges on card

We visited the International Drive Orlando restaurant on 22nd July 2023.

Our bill was $137.39. We had two transactions of the same amount taken out in the night, several more attempted to be taken out (but unsuccessful). A further attempt to take the same amount the following day and a successful attempt (3rd payment) taken on the 25th.

We returned home to the UK on the 24th.

Today a further $165.39 has been taken from my account taking me overdrawn.

£450.74 Sterling taken in total.

I have added all photographs of transactions

This was really disappointing. First time at the Joes Daytona location. Beautiful spot. My husband and I both could not wait to try the po boy. Never again. The shrimp were pop corn size at best. Gross bread and not one thing on the sandwich? Literally shrimp on bread? Complete disappointment.

Joe's Crab Shack Service and food

First off when we arrived we were told they arent taking anyone because theres a party of 30 so they were turning people away. 2nd I ordered the joes classic steampot for two and the amount of food in there was for a kid. It had a dungess cluster with only 2 legs on it a snow omly 2 legs on it,3 shrimp 1corn and a few small peices of potatoes like 1/4 of a whole potato! However the manager sqeezed us in and was very polite and the server justice was great but the cutback of the food was shocking! Joe's Crab Shack Online orderimh / Poor Management

I am in town for a conference and need dinner. Ordered online carryout through the website. My cc was charged over $30, but I did not receive confirmation #. I walked to the restaurant on to verify the order was in process. One hostess said "it always happens". The other hostess spoke to the manager twice concerning my order. I was told to dispute the charge with my cc company. Manager never spoke to me, apologized, offered to make it right, asked me what I would like order. They just wanted me to leave. I guess they don't need money. Terrible ordering system, confused employees, useless management. Absolutely infuriating!

Joe's Crab Shack Product

We had dinner at Joe’s in Kissimmee Florida on Blake’s Blvd. We chose this place because we had been to a Joe’s in our home area and it was always good.

This night was not good. Our food wasn’t good at all. Fries were dried out like they had been sitting there all day. Kids Mac and cheese was cold and all stuck together. Our dinners were just so so. It was such a disappointment that we will prolly never go to a Joe’s again. 4/15/23 at approximately 7pm

I do want to make it clear that our server was awesome…no complaints about him at all.

Joe's Crab Shack Food and management

3/22/23 at the Daytona Joe's we arrived to the restaurant at 6. We asked for a table for 20 for my daughter's color guard team, and they advised it would be 2 tables of 10, and would be about 45 minutes. They said that usually for large parties like that they need 2 months notice.

After repeatedly asking, we eventually got seated at 8, and took 35 minutes waiting on drinks. We even resorted to playing board games to pass the time.

Food was served a little after 9, and after eating cold and horrible food (which made 3 of our people sick) and checks, didn't leave until after 10. I'm sure that by checking the cameras, our complaint will be corroborated. Our tab total was over $800, $380 of which was paid personally by the teacher chaperone.

We tried to call corporate office, and none of the phone numbers listed are in service. We tried to call the main location numerous times for the district manager's information, with no return call.

I understand that we had a large group, but that is no reason to keep us waiting for so long for service.

We live in the Tampa area and the location here has never been so poorly served.

Desired outcome: I expect a phone call back from the district or regional manager, and I expect compensation to our party.

Joe's Crab Shack Restaurant Climate

Location Louisville

Saturday March 18, 2023 515pm

Restaurant was busy, but not packed.

Thermostat above our table set at 75 degrees, but thermometer reading 56 degrees.

Everyone dining was freezing.

One outdoor heater set at one table in the entire place.

Food seemed to be okay. Hard to enjoy when you are freezing.

Bill was $200, including tip. Would have stayed longer and spent more, but couldn't wait to leave.

Horrible experience.

Joe's Crab Shack Poor food and service

On 02/25/23 at 5:00 I visited Joe’s Crab Shack in station square area of Pittsburgh pa! Was seated and ask for drink for a party of 7- drinks were given and appetizers ordered(2-stuffed mushrooms) no plate when they were delivered to table! Ate from dish that mushroom’s came on! Mushrooms were cold on the inside nearly frozen. Main course ordered and delivered to find cold fries on a few plates, no ask for a refill in two hours. Waitress comes with check and I asked we can’t get desert? We have 2 birthdays we are celebrating! I asked to see a manager and a kitchen manager said they are busy ? What is that, $ 400 bill and they are running us out because we spoke up! I called the next day02/26/23 at approximately 1:00 to talk to same manager to be told that they are transplants and trying to adapt to new area! I tried to explain that my daughter was in for the first time in 5 years and I didn’t want that to be our memory of 5 years apart. He said I need a tissue your story is great! Dealing with corporate to no evail! Laundry’s business’s should be avoided at all cost! They hire ignorant people and could careless about you as long as they got your cash! What a horrible experience!

Desired outcome: Apologize- total refund for the ignorance of staff treating customers like less than!
