Company Credit Cards (Commercial Card Classic) Cancellation w/o notice
Our business has been been a business credit card user since years. Perfect payment history and using around 10 business credit cards for our traveling employees. Received notification via email on 3/16 that JP Morgan Chase would like to discontinue our credit cards from 4/12 on (One month notice). This being bad by itself JP Morgan decided to cut off the credit cards on 3/20 w/o even telling us, and leaving our employees stranded on business trips across the U.S. Despite calls to our customer relationship Manager no resolve.
This is unbelievably unprofessional and totally unacceptable.
Peter Schneider, Next Generation Recycling Machines, Inc.
Desired outcome: Keep cards active until we had a chance to switch over to a different bank
Opening an account and interest rates
I currently have a mortgage pending with Chase and my Loan Specialist stated that due to COVID Chase would only give me a mortgage if I opened up an account. I opened an account at the Wheaton South Branch on 3/11/2021. To open the account I wrote a check from my TCF account for 19000 dollars. After opening the account I notified my loan officer.
In March 12, 2021 I received a letter stating that Chase needed to collect indentifying information about my deposit. The letter instructed me to call 1-877-382-8854 or go into the branch.
On March 13, 2021 I received another letter stating that Chase had placed an extended hold on my account due to information they received that the check I used to open up the account might not be paid.
On March 20th I called the number listed on the letter and I was told that Chase decided they did not want a relationship with me. When I inquired why the representative state that he was not going to tell me why. However in a rude and aggressive manner he told me to go to the back and withdraw my funds, stop all ach deposits and etc.
I went into the Wheaton Branch and spoke with a representative who called on my behalf she was told the same information and they would not tell her why.
To be clear the 19, 000 came from my income tax return.
My second complaint has to do with Chase policy on matching interest rate. I was told that if you found a lower interest rate at another institution Chase would match the rate. My mortgage specialist told me him what information was needed. When I submitted the information, I was first denied. Which my specialist stated that he had never seen happen. He stated that usually Chase counters.
A few days later my specialist told me he resubmitted my request and this time Chase approved the rate match, however they wanted me to pay 2 points. Which is 7000 dollars.
If it is a true rate match I should not have to pay points. I believe Chase is discriminating against me because I am an Afro American.
Desired outcome: Account opened, letter of apology and I want the 2.6 interest rate with no points.
Amazon credit card 1000 $
Okay well I was given $1,000 amazon credit card to help me build my credit up I was doing really good on it no problems at all not one and all the sudden chase decided two months in that they wanted to cancel my card for no reason because maybe I spent $400 of it in 2 months but I tried calling them and asking why they shut it off because now it's getting to mess my credit up I can't get a credit card through anybody else now because of chase and I can't afford to pay this back because they did this to me during and i'm a very not well-to-do person i'm actually living off social security so I think they should be held accountable or giving me a credit card they actually sent me a paper telling me I should sign up for this credit card so I did and I was very happy with it no problems on my end and no problem therion but all of a sudden during this in the middle of it they revoke your credit card on me they will not tell me why they just told me that they had the right to do that and thank you cast for caring about americans during the covid-19 thank you very much you are the worst creditor and bank in the world now my credit is shot and all I wanted was to use your guys's credit so I can build it up for myself as well as have amazon card to during this covid epidemic my name is steven oates
Desired outcome: Re issue amazon credit or cancel the debt i got since its chases chase fault
Satisfaction of mortgages
I work for a lawfirm. JP Morgan Chase had recorded the same mortgage twice — a year apart. When we paid off the mortgage, we instructed them that they MUST satisfy both open mortgages of record. They have satisfied the latter one, but refuse to satisfy the first one. The latter one is not a corrective mortgage or anything like that. It is simply a re-recorded copy of the original mortgage. We have sent written demand to satisfy, but to no avail. Next step is a lawsuit. I cannot find a person or contact to deal with this at Chase. I sit on hold for hours, with no assistance. Any advice what to do?
Desired outcome: that they satisfy an open mortgage that has been paid off
Banking services
Last night on 2/11/2021, I decided to open a checking and savings account with Chase. I already hold a bank account with another bank but it was a joint account with my parents that I was looking to move away from. On that night, I did put in a transfer request to take some money from my first bank to Chase to get things started. I also looked around and...
Read full review of JPMorgan ChaseAPR Increase
During a tome when people are suffering from shut downs, Chase has decided to raise my APR to 29.9%! No late payments, my credit score actually went up this year, but Chase decides the best way to treat a decade PLUS customer is to kick them when they are down.
I will be paying this off. My family has agreed to remove two accounts that hold family trusts.
I hold your short sided gauge of customers during a pandemics worth it for you. We are out!
Desired outcome: Decrease CC Interest rate
You should be reaching out to help people during this time, not gouging and taking advantage. I would tell you to be ashamed of your business practices, but I doubt you care.
**Correction: I hope your short-sided gauge of customers during a pandemics worth it for you.
Merchant Services
I just today applied for a merchant account so I could begin accepting card payments for my new retail store. My account was denied because apparently JP Morgan Chase had me listed on MasterCard's MATCH list (terminated merchant file) and I was given no explanation. To be clear, I have never had a merchant account whatsoever, let alone with Chase.
This can completely stop me from being able to take payments, so this is a huge deal. I'll have to get a lawyer now to seek removal from this list as apparently there is zero governance over recklessly adding someone to it and ruining their business. I will obviously be exploring my options regarding recovering damages as those are already starting to add up.
There is no way to hold anyone accountable for this, much like the rest of this over-regulated and tyrannical industry. This list and its lack of oversight is one of the most unprofessional implementations I have ever seen. I have other relationships with Chase and I can say I was surprised to see their name involved in something executed with such disregard.
Desired outcome: I would love to be in correspondence with someone at JP Morgan Chase who could investigate this for me and would have the authority to remove my information from the MATCH list. Thank you.
Transfer to checking account from Chase to Bank of America
I initiated a transfer from my checking account with Chase Bank to my checking account at Bank of America on 12/17/20 for the amount of $6066.00. I have made numerous phone calls to both banks and been transferred to many different departments for the last several weeks. Neither bank will help me. Chase says it was successfully electronically transferred and Bank of America says the transfer was never received. I filed a "dispute" and was notified that their records show the transfer was sent on 12/18/20 and they had no way to research it. As of today I still do not have my money and have not received any advice on how to get it back.
Desired outcome: I just want my money back!

Policy
I'll be closing my accounts at your bank and others to do so as well. You have decided to take a left wing stance against Republicans who voted to object to the electors on Jan 6. You did not do anything to stand up to the Democratic politicians and news media that encouraged and condoned all of the rioting and destruction over the summer and fall or the Democrats that stood up in 2016 to object to the electors or encouraged people to harass anyone in the Trump administration. You are disgraceful.
Refused service
Dear Chase Bank, Sad time in 2020 when you go to your Chase bank on Warren street in Dearborn Heights and the person you see to assist you, turns you away stating that I had no appointment and she and other representative were booked with appointments for the next 2 weeks. I feel your new procedure is inappropriate and insensitive! When did thi...
Read full review of JPMorgan ChaseCredit Card Fraud
I am a disabled veteran who I believe an intentional act of fraud was committed by Chase Bank with regards to my Marriott Credit Card . After they closed my credit card account, I called angrily to immediately sever our relationship. The account agent " on a recorded line" jokingly asked if "I hit the lotto" because I wanted to pay it off. I was so offended as a Black Male that I hung up the phone. I called again and spoke with someone who was agreed to a settlement. On or about the 1st of October a month later another account representative called asking for an additional payment because she stated "we (Chase) have no record of your payment", I then provided her with a confirmation number, the date it cleared my USAA account. This I where I began to assume this was an intentional act of Credit Card Fraud and Theft either purposely committed by Chase or a mere coincidental occurrence. Is this how Chase treats everyone or just African Americans Veterans?
Desired outcome: Resolution and orRefund of $7900
Excessive overdraft fees
I want to file a formal complaint against Chase Bank. I will be contacting the BBB, my lawyer and other agencies to get this resolved.
Chase Bank has robbed me of thousands of dollars over the years and I want to get my money back. Just in 2019 alone I was charged $5,274.50 in fees! In June of 2019 I was charged $1,182 in fees and July 2019 $1,122! Absolutely ridiculous! Chase steals from their customers to gain a profit. To charge a $34 fee on an overdrawn account of $1.00 and not reverse it is ludacris!
I called many times to get the overdraft fees reversed and they refused.
Its hard enough these days for business to even stay open without their bank taking advantage of them. This has to be illegal. You should not be able to charge so many fees within a month/year as much as my business has been charged.
I want my hard earned money back! We need to get this resolved before I take this further.

Closure of account
One day, I believe it was May 2020, it was a long time ago, I tried to log into my account. It said account has been locked please call the security/fraud department.
So I called them up and after waiting for hours on hold all they said your account has been closed with chase. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and they all said the same thing. Call a week later and we will see if there is any update. I told them what about my money that I have in there, I need to buy food and pay my bills. I asked them why they closed my account and they say they are not allowed to tell me. They were so unhelpful.
So a week later I call and all the representative could tell me was that Chase has decided to terminate my account and I can no longer be a chase customer. I ask about my funds and they said hopefully they will send you a check with the remaining funds. Call in 2 weeks for updates.
So I call again 2 weeks later and nothing changed. I ask to speak to a supervisor and they are still not able to tell me anything. Call again in 2 weeks.
2 weeks later I call again and nothing has changed.
After 2 months of calling every 2 week, I went into my local chase to see if they could help and they were so helpful. They tried to ask me if anyone gave me any money recently. The only thing I could of was that my husband's unemployment money was coming into my account. As we had different legal last names they said could be they thought it was suspicious.
So I brought to my local my ID, my husbands ID, marriage license and verification that my husband's unemployment has been coming into my account. They sent it in and I finally received a check for a partial amount of my funds.
I called them up and asked what about the rest, and all they say is that is processing, call back. So I call back 2 weeks later and nothing new.
Its been 4 months of me calling regularly and they have not sent me my remaining funds. I call all the time and they tell me its still processing.
I speak to supervisors and nothing has helped.
I still have a large amount of funds in Chase Bank that they refuse to give me.
Checking account
Chase Bank has closed my account with know explanation or notice. I went to log in online and it stated: " We locked you out of your account, please call 877-691-8086. After calling the number they stated they have closed my account. I asked to speak with a manager. The manger told me after review of my account they choose to terminated my account. They would not give a reason when asked and told me know one at any level would tell me and it's in their contract that they can do this at anytime without cause. I then went to the bank in person (5697 E State Hwy 69, Prescott Valley AZ.) to get my balance of $1, 032.27 plus what is on my Chase credit card and was denied. They refused to give me my money. I think it is illegal to do this. The clerk was very kind and tried to help. I asked again for a reason and was denied. I asked for my past 4 months of bank statements and was given copies since I can not accesses my account anymore because they locked me out. Those statements give no reason for termination to my account. Complaint is as follows: 1. No notice and chase rep. Admitted in phone conversation. 2. No explanation or any suspicious activity upon review of past bank statements by teller. 3. Denied my funds at the banl when I wwnt in. (5697 E State Hwy 69, Prescott Valley AZ) 4. Have filed several high level complaints with the bank-no response.12-1-2020 5. I am also the power of attorney for my mother and our accounts are linked so that I can pay her bills if she needs me to. She has lung cancer and that is why we set this in place with Chase. Now I can also not take care of my mother because of this. How a bank could do this to someone is unheard of. I understand if there was a legitimate reason as I understand that is how they can keep criminal activity shut down. I am an upstanding member of the community. Never been arrested. I now have no money for food or gas, how is something like this possible? I am a Real Estate Agent and can now not drive my buyers to show homes and perform other duties. I also have health issues and can now not see doctors because of what they have done. You would think with covid this would be unheard of to do.
United mileageplus credit card
I have just been charged $95 in fees on a replacement card that I have never received, despite contacting you at least twice. Therefore I haven't used it and I think you'll see no charges on it for several years. The number is [protected].
I request that the $95 fee be dismissed and that the card is cancelled.
Thank you.
Hold put on account 2nd time for spouses death and it was already released.
My husband passed away and I was stupid and gave you a copy of the death certificate. He died in October but had hold put on his SSN payment made in October. I called the bank for 3 weeks trying to find out how to get the hold released. They could not tell me. I finally was able to have a SSN rep call and verify that the payment was correct because it wa...

Read full review of JPMorgan ChaseNSF fees
so far chase has charged me over 600 in nsf fees by putting transactions through in the middle of the night and instantly adding the max fees possible at a time when i cannot get to the bank to add funds to cover any transactions they never send me any alerts until days or weeks after by my understanding this is illegal waiting till afterhours to process transactions at 2 am so i cannot even see them until the next day and then adding fees that i have no chance of avoiding
Funds from my account was not returned
On 10/16/2020 I went to check my transactions for the last 3 months and seen 3963.50 was debited from my account on 8/14/2020. The name of the store was listed as Scotlandville Food Mart. I immediately notified Chase Bank and informed them of the transaction that was not by me or authorized. I was told my funds would be in the account within 12 to 24 hours a new card would be issued the old card needed to be cancelled. I explained that I was out of town and needed to not cancel my card until I was back home, I was asked if my card was in my possession I replied yes, and that I would cancel the card the following Monday upon returning. I called and cancelled my card on Monday did a follow up on the 24th of October, no funds were placed into my account by Chase, I called back two more times to Chase no information and again was told funds would be in the account within 24 hours. Called back Nov 4th to Chase a representative name Charlotte stated my complaint was denied, informed me to notify the police and there is nothing Chase Bank could do and no information was available to support the reason of the denial. Called Chase November 9th spoke with Jessica a rep for Chase and was told a letter was sent of the 4th of November and again I was told I would have to get my money from the person who stole it. I have Fraud Alert and Fraud Protection that notifies me when a transaction is done but did not get a notification for this large amount. Again, the representatives had no explanation as to why. I called again and I was told by Jessica I would receive all the documents so I can give to the detectives and nothing has been sent to me and I am still without my funds,
