This retailer delivered three separate orders to someone fraudulently using my card details. This should not be possible as the delivery address should always be the same as the address to which the card is registered - this is a blatant failure on the part of the company, and cost me a total of £113. When I contacted them they showed very little interest or concern, and simply told me to take it up with my bank. They took no interest in the question of how such a security leak might have happened on their site, not the fact that it could happen to any customer if it's happened to one. I for one will never be using them again, not just because of the fraud they have facilitated but also because of their complete failure in terms of customer service, for me and the other customers who will likely be similarly outraged when they get ripped off too.
This is a VERY fraudulent company with the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. Have now charged my card 4x, with no orders placed, and then claimed they "don't have the money" and they were "concerned about fraud". Stay away from this company. They are SCAM ARTISTS.
I have had the same issue, an order of £36 has been taken from my account. Just eat claimed that they would look into it and call me back. I have heard nothing since. I keep emailing them, but they fail to reply.
Disgusting customer service, looks like this happens on a regular basis and they do not do anything about it.

What are you talking about, it's not their fault, someone could use your card to top a phone if they wanted . In fact they lose out because when your bank (the real criminals) refunds you they take the money back from just eat ( it's called a chargeback) and just eat still have to pay the restaurant that cooked the food. So quit whinging, your bank wants it to happen so they have another excuse to put a chip and pin in your hand in the near future. Go do the research
The same thing happened to me! 4 transactions on consecutive days of £30-£45!. don't understand how Just Eat allowed it -as you say- the delivery address would have been different to the address on the card so it should have been blocked. Just Eat are obviously to blame to some extent, and whoever is making fraudulent transactions on other people's cards is still free to keep doing it, even though Just Eat can see exactly who it is from their account and delivery address details. Similarly to you, when I spoke to them, they were unconcerned, unapologetic and had absolutely nothing helpful to say on the matter whatsoever! Will definitely be warning people off them
Someone fraudulently used my card details to purchase £105 worth of food. It was flagged up by my bank and luckily it didn't go through.
This has happened to me quite a few times as well. Even to the point where I've had to cancel my cards and get new ones and it still happens but when I contact the company they say they can't tell me who has made the purchases even if it's not me
This has happened to me from my bank card twice 2 days ago and once today. I did go into the bank today and get the money all refunded by this evening (a total of £84!) but I still haven't any communication to confirm that and I have yet to see if I can be told how this happened and who got hold of my details. Surely when it happens to us we should be made aware who did it and from what organisation. I will either be walking into take-aways myself in future or calling up then paying by cash at the door to avoid a repeat. Not getting caught out again!
Someone used my just eat account and managed to make payment with my card i have no idea how, i started getting updates about orders that were being delivered to an address in east london, i contacted the customer services and spoke to the supervisor, they contacted me back but saying it was my card that was being used and i should take it up with my bank, however my card has always stayed at home for over a year, my card details were saved on there though but i use apple pay, and i got a bit irate because the deliver updates were coming through on my app, so obviously someone (possibly an ex employee) has hacked in to my account, to order food from 2 different places, i did try to contact the restaurants but no luck, i proceeded to delet my account, got refunded by my bank, called action fraud but they said they cant do anything, its such a hassle. This is a security leak from Just eat for sure. Change ur bank cards and passwords on all emails and other apps
This happened to me yesterday. I don't think I ever ordered from Just eat. They are getting the financial data from somewhere...I am abroad for 2 months and it is impossible for someone to use my business card without my consent!
Typical responses from them "If your payment card has been used fraudulently then you will need to speak to their bank or contact www.actionfraud.police.uk Just eat will provide further information to the Police if they require it.
Your issue will be flagged to our security team, but they cannot take any further action unless we are contacted by your bank or by the Police."
It happened to me today. I rang my bank straight away to block my card and raise a dispute to the payment once it appears on my account as at the moment it is pending. I tried ringing Justeat but to no joy. So surprised that they allow delivery from to different addresses on one night! My suspicion is it is an inside job of Justeat! I deleted my account with Justeat and NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

Same happened to me today. Debit card transaction. I called my bank but they can't refund it.
I tried calling Just Eat within 10 mins of the transaction but it was constantly engaged. So I went into the order and said it was all damaged )once it had been 'delivered'). Just Eat are apparently putting a credit onto my account. It's not ideal and I doubt I'll get a refund. I've removed my card details from the Just Eat site.
This has just happened to me today. 2 orders were placed on my account to two different addresses on justeat totalling £68.73. I only became aware because I saw an email saying I ordered something to places that are nowhere near where I live.
I've removed my card details. But's rather irritating as I doubt anything will be done about it.
I’ve just had two amounts taken from my bank by someone using just eat in Ireland , I don’t live in Ireland ! I can’t get hold of anyone at just eat , I’ve reported to my bank and deleted my just eat account and app I won’t be using again if they cannot ensure your account is safe from fraudulent use, so frustrated with this company !
Don't know why your saying that you should only be allowed to delivery to the cards address that is dumb what if your away from home or want to treat someone to some food
I've had this today 2 separate orders one for Durham one for Colchester. I've never been to those places . But just eat let the orders go through £84 down till bank can sort it out . I know it doesn't sound a lot but when your skint it causes major problems
Same thing happened to me today.
2 orders made on my account to restaurants and addresses over 350 miles from me.
Both for around £30. First order was to a Chinese in London at 12:30 which was cancelled.
Another was made for a McDonald's in Reading.
Same experience with Just Eat customer services, not their problem, will do an internal investigation but it's unlikely that they will contact me regarding it. Advised to report to back and police.
I have my card details saved on the app/website but usually need to enter the CCV when confirming the order. Not sure how they got that. No other attempts have been made to take payments but will request a new card to be safe.
Obviously cancelled Just Eat account, not worth the risk to use their service.
I've had the exact same experience. Thankfully it was only£30 and I noticed just an hour after the order so cancelled my card and just eat account.
I have had the same happen today and have spoken to the restaurant who advised this keeps happening the last two weeks. The order was made 2 hours away from my home address. No direct number to just eat to stop the delivery either.
Reported to action fraud, 101 and bank.

… emailed just eat who said I’m the victim of card fraud - so how is the order on MY JUST EAT ACCOUNT , lol they’re being completely ignorant to the fact their app is being hacked !
This has literally just happened to me to! Never again will i be using just eat, it's obviously a leak through just eat, as my card is new and not been used in a cash point for any kind of cloning. You need the 3 digit code from the back to order. Seems Just Eat has a data issue
This happened to me. Someone over 100 miles away ordered over £30 of food using my stored card details. Not only was the difference of address not flagged up but they must've made numerous attempts to guess my card security code which has 999 different possibilities. Just Eat allowed this to happen and when I reported to my bank's fraud department and cancelled my card and received a refund, my whole address was swiftly banned from ordering from Just Eat at all, whether paying by cash or card - the cheek of it!
I live in Orkney we don’t have just eat unless you take a 2 hour ferry then 4 hour train. Have just cancelled my card
This happened to me but I don't think it is a security leak from Just Eats or their app. I live in the United States, do not have an app or account with Just Eats, and have never eaten at this place. There were five attempts just yesterday for use and the final one for $109 was allowed to go through by Just Eats. My credit union notified me right away and when I confirmed there was no way anyone could have my card or was authorized to use my card, they froze my card and are refunding my money. (Note the difference between banks and credit unions). It seems that Just Eats may be laundering money for stolen card numbers. I hope someone is looking into their criminal actions! At the minimum, they are complicit in criminality and fraud!

I have had my card compromised twice in as many months and the only connection is Just Eat. I have now deleted my account and will not be using them again. Lloyds have told me that Just Eat is a security risk.
My wife has just seen her bank statement for last 2 months. Over £200 been spent with just eat, but not by her. Strange thing is she has never paid for a takeaway from just eat. All purchases were in London, we live in Devon. Has been reported to her bank who will refund the money.
