Beware! The site does not make it clear, but this is a shoe of the month club. Usually monthly clubs have this blazing everywhere. This site does not! It's very sneakily hidden. I'm a seasoned web user and online marketer, so I know how clearly things should be explained. And they fail in making it known that they are a monthly club.in fact, the reminder emails they send do not even mention a charge if you do not opt out of your monthly charge by the 5th. I've enclosed a screen shot of this. See anywhere about a charge? Nope! When I called the company to complain, I got nowhere and then I got hung up on. I cannot tell you how bad this is from a web usability standpoint. What reason do they have to downplay the "membership" other than to trick people into subscribing? None!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I am a little surprised to see that a good no. of people are not aware that JustFab is a monthly shoe club. Yet I am not making any judgment here since maybe the way you signed up, the pages that led you to the purchase, was totally different from what I went through.
I was fully aware that it is a monthly shoe club and I need to opt out before the 5th. I also read the T&C when I joined.
Yet when the company does not JUST have the intention to protect itself from customers that would try to abuse the system, we customers are screwed one way or another. It is very obvious from my experience that they do aim to get customers trapped and stuck with the credits. ALL other monthly subscription service I have used would aim to use the monthly subscription system to get a more projectable solid monthly sales/customer base and they would have some kind of one time policy to refund charges or the same month charge (unused) when you cancel. They would NOT risk bad reputation trying to get that one last month profit from a disgruntled customer. But if you can looking at disputing more than the last month membership, different companies handle it differently. However JustFab just manages to actually operate totally opposite from what I have seen. They try to collect as much money as possible from the unused credits of disgruntled cancelling members. This is the ONLY company I have seen that does not care about bad reputation and try HARD to keep the money they collected knowing that no products were provided for these unused credits.
Despite knowing how it works, they still managed to get me stuck with unused one month credit because I’ve never thought to record or keep a screen capture of my cancellation of their membership. I thought I could count on having contacted them and got it cancelled already. I will file a separate complaint on this website, but people should be aware that this is NOT a company that does all precaution to provide a good monthly subscription VIP program that help customers avoid unwanted purchase. If Netflix and other notable companies operate like this, there would be a class action, lol. Keep ALL records of cancellation and changes. Use your cell phone to call so you have it on your cellphone bill. They DO NOT email you cancellation confirmation and you would still be able to see those opt out option on the front page. Also read the special fineprint of special promotions. I have seen many people have problems with returns and exchanges for those purchases since they don’t specify clearly.
Just Fab is NOT! My introductory boots at 19.99 were'nt even close to being as pictured- cheap plastic and a red zipper running up the back they didnt show- could not use any communication methods offered all were unresponsive or a dead end- just sent them back hoping for my account to be credited-instead they informed me i get to pick out a different pair of shoes-but now i didnt get the introductory price- its alll cheap junk- i opted for jewelry so i wouldnt have to give them another dime- the jewelry is plastic and horrid-childs play jewelry is better quality- in all my online purchases which are quite a few with many companies i have had very little to complain about-this company is a sham and i truly wish more people would slam it into the recycle bin permantly were it belongs
THEY ARE SELLING CARDBOARD AS LEATHER... basically and what looks good is sold out!
I bought a pair of shoes from Justfab.com back in January, same thing happened to me where they have been charging me 39.99 a month since then. I called to get a refund not knowing about their"membership" and they completely disregarded what I had tole them.I asked to speak with a supervisor then "Ray" put me on hold for about 20 seconds, then said there was no supervisor available...i asked again and again and he kept doing the same thing, finally said he could refund the month of June, i told him it was ### i wanted the full 250 that they stole from me. He said that's what my supervisor said...oh ok so now you have a supervisor ...what an ###. That place is terrible . they are thieves and I will never shop online there again. We are also going to the BBB about this, everyone else should as well. Ps he did tell me that the membership was free, and then contradicted himself by telling me that the "vip" membership for 39.99 a month is a privilege.
I smell a class action lawsuit..who's with me? and what do we need to do to get this going?
I called Just Fab and after 30 minutes of telling the operator that i wanted to cancel my VIP Subscription he finally agreed to. He kept telling me to give the program another chance and EVEN BRIBED ME WITH REWARDS POINTS! I mean seriously! So after canceling my subscription i could now rest peacefully without being anxious i would forget to skip a month and be charged $39. Well what i found out a month after canceling my subscription was that it wasn't canceled and they charged me $39! UNBELIEVABLE! THIS WEBSITE IS A COMPLETE SCAM! ALL THEY ARE TRYING TO DO IS STEAL MONEY FROM PEOPLES POCKETS! I called 3 times already and each time i was told their operators were to busy to talk. Iv'e never been so appalled in my life. This website is a scam!
I love justfab, and no I do not work for them nor am I besties with Kimora, and I am very particular as to the quality of my footwear... I am just a very satisfied customer. Why you ask? Because I take the time to read and research anything I decided to sign up for, commit to or join. The problem is you want no accountability for your own actions, or lack thereof, and of course it can't be your fault right? Nope. It's the system, the "man" . I've been a justfab member for years and I knew exactly what I was getting into, it was very clear, what else did you expect? For them to post it on your facebook or instagram for minimal reading? Grow up. Even when making my shoe purchases I only buy if the review rating is 95% or higher, and I read all the negative reviews. Thanks to that I have yet to have a negative experience, And I've bought around 10 pairs so far. And I can compare the quality to my much more expensive designer shoes. Put your big girl panties on and learn to treat all your affairs responsibly.
I purchased 1 pair of shoes on sept 2012 and never recvd membership fee until Oct 2014. I call them and they stated that I would recvd refund for 39.95 x 2 within 3-5 business days. They also stated that I so receive a email showing that my membership was cancelled. I don't understand, why would this company think people would pay 39.95 just to be a member and receive no items, when they can go to the store and purchased the same shoes for that membership fee. This is crazy, and this is why you have to be careful in online purchase scams...
They are not upfront about their practices and require you to call to cancel your account so that they can give you their script and talk you into staying!
My daughter ordered something from them a few months back. I looked at my credit card. They've been billing me $39.95/mo for a subscription my daughter never authorized. What a scam.
