I had one simple question but had to register my credit card with tech geek. I was advised the charge would be £1 unless I took the matter further. I have been charged an additional £35 and don't even know if this is a subscription charge or if I will be charged again at some future point. I have been misled over the charges and would like my £35 refunded with an assurance I won't be charged again in future as I do not intend using the service again.

Membership
I was told I would be charged $1 join fee to speak to a dermatologist but I was charged 46 $membership in addition. I cancelled my membership the same day I joined (October 9) because I saw the 46 dollar fee on my account. I was actually told that I wouldn't be charged by the assistant but I was still charged. I can't even review assistants messages because the site doesn't save them.

They did the same thing to me! I wondered why I had no money left in my account. They told me I'd pay a refundable 5 dollars for a chat session with an attorney which I never got then they stole $60 off of my card without my permission. I'm elderly and disabled and going to sue them for overdrafting my bank account taking money off of my card that I NEVER authorized. These people are thieves and should be put out of business permanently!

Beware this a monthly payment scam
I asked one question and agreed to a $1 for it. Next thing I know they tapped me for $60. I just found out today that the $1 was a trick to sign up for a $60 a month membership. So, my one dollar for a couple of questions has turned into $121.00.
I am heading to my bank to cancel this second pending charge.
Beware this in not a one time deal it's a monthly membership that they do not disclose up front. I live on social security, I would never have agreed to a $60 monthly fee for 2 questions.
It's a scam and you need to pay attention to the fine print. At no time was it made clear to me that I had signed up for a membership.

I want my money back that was stolen and this site shut down before they commit fraud on others. Its a total scam and bogus site.
This is a total scam. My email is [protected]@gmail.com. I am currenty looking for a lawyer so I was trying to get some advice. I was told it was a $5.00 fee to do so. I gave the ok for them to take $5.00 off my debit card. When I looked they took the $5.00 and then a seperate transaction for $60.00. I went to my bank and disputed the charge. (Key Bank) they did the paperwork but also informed me that I should call these people. When I finally got ahold of them they informed me that by giving the ok for them to get $5.00... I automatically got signed up for a membership that cost $60.00 as well. That was never disclosed and never agreed upon. This was a totally fraudulent withdrawl from my bank account and I did inform them I will prosecute if it isnt returned. Im on full disability... I dont have $60.00 lying around for these people to steal. Also... Their website says you are talking to a certifide legal aide. It is a robot... When I got home I tried to explain the situation and you get the sameanswer over and over. Of course they have no number to call and dispute... You have to search for it in another seperate website.

I.T. solving problems
On October 7th 2022, I contacted "Just Answer", paid $66 and asked them to solve the problem of being locked out of my email account. They said it would be a quicker outcome if I paid an extra $55.77 so a technician could have access to my computer remotely. They went ahead, saying I needed to wait 48 hours and that they would ring me back to finalise the problem.
They have not responded.

7th October, I contacted JustAnswer and paid $60 for them to solve a problem with one of my emails. I had been locked out due to too many attempts to get in. A lot of time was spent, so I opted for the technician to have remote control of my computer and paid an extra $55. He did so, then told me we would have to wait for 48hours, and then he would recontact me and finalise the problem. He never contacted me, so I still have the problem after paying out a total of $121.77

JustAnswer legal advice
The legal advice I received from JustAnswer in August was good (and I paid a £5 fee plus £43.68 for the advice).
However, I have just discovered through my credit card statements that I have been enrolled into a JustAnswer membership scheme, costing £50 per month. I have made 2 payments (total £100).
It was not clear from the website that I would be enrolled as a member and be charged £50 per month. I believe that the details on the website were unclear. I had no intention of enrolling as a member and believe that I have been misled.
I have now cancelled my membership.
I request a full refund of the £100 that I have paid for membership.

Handling of my request about my email problem
Started with sudipto_dutta, the expert.Told it would be resolved shortly. Then transferred to someone else who said to sign in again. Was told there was a $1.00 fee. Then a charge for $39.00 which I did not realized should take care of my problem Now I find there is a $55.00 charge on my credit card in addition to the other charges which have not cleared my problem. I"m asking you to refund those last 2 charges. I've instructed my card office to notify me when those charge come on to my card and I will dispute them. Please advise Thank you.

Very unhelpful customer service
I had this service about a month ago and cancelled my subscription. Everything was perfect with the company until, yesterday October 7th 2022. I went on the app and desperately needed help with my vehicle seating. I have kids and things to be taken care of so i figured since they were so great the last time i asked a question, I'd try it again. I submitted my question to the expert who helped me the last time since he was in my favorites. It asked for a 24$ payment for the question and needing an answer quickly i paid it. Still 24 hours later, my question is still not answered. Ive called customer service many times to get it resolved and they all said that it was on the top priority now. The last time i called the gentleman said it was not on there high priority list to answer my question. I do not understand why they get to decide what was high priority or not. For myself it was the highest priority to get my seat back in and fixed so i could take my children to get anything. Being a single mom i cant just leave my kids at home and go and do things. I am stuck at home with no way of fixing my seat. They have caused myself so much lost time and being able to function because they are not answering the question so i can get my seat to unfold. Seems pretty simple if i paid for it. So upon them not answering i went ahead and just renewed my subscription to ask again. Still hours later nothing answered. Called and all they said they can do is refund the subscription (which now is cancelled) because of them refunding it. I am in complete aww of how this turned out.

Membership fees
I was under the impression from the layout of the site that the charge was £1 and £24 for a phone conversation. The terms and conditions were very long and I didn't get a chance to read through before the vet came online.
However, I've just discovered that £25 has been taken from my account. Nowhere on the page did it specify this is actually the membership fee, and neither does it specify that you need to be a member. In addition, the request for payment states clearly that they will take just £1 from your account; it doesn't mention any membership fee. The fact that this information is hidden in the pages long terms and conditions is pretty unusual and a bit of a con, really.
I have just lost my job, and I've no money now whatsoever for seven days. I contacted the agent, who sent me an automated response saying I could use the service to contact loads of different experts, and ended the chat. I contacted her again, and she said the supervisor couldn't talk to me as she was busy with another customer and to try calling, then ended the chat again. I live in England, so cannot afford to call.

Beware of giving them credit card information. Unauthorised Deduction
I have been trying to contact the ROC SUP CO, Clearwater about a payment of $7.88AUD that was deducted from my bank account on 21/09/22 without my knowledge. Yet no one responded. It's fraud and unacceptable. Unfortunately, I do not have much information about this store because I never dealt with them.

Just Answer Reoccurring charge to my careit card
My wife asked a question last year to a service not knowing that the question was signing her up for a 7 day trial that would turn into a $46 monthly fee. We place over a hundred charges on the credit card applied and missed the email the the trial would be over. We are out $736 for the fees charged since then. They confirmed that only one question had been asked in the beginning. I caught it on a charge statement this week. They have no desire whatsoever to make this right. BUYER BEWARE! UNBELIEVABLE!

Dishonest billing and service
Small fee is advertised (e.g., $2), while large fee ($66) is hidden behind it. Worse, it is a recurring payment. My mother actually submitted a question thinking it was an arm of TeleHealth Ontario and doesn’t remember anything about fees beyond the $2.

I asked ONE question about my Hotmail account which is still not sending or receiving mail. I have never logged in to the ''just answer'' web site, so I am not a member. Despite this, I have been charged TWICE. Once for $2.0 and secondly for $70.0 , all this at or about 1st of October 2022. I have instructed my bank NOT to pay these bills, whether that works or not. I cannot cancel any payments on your web site as I have never registered with you , or sanctioned any payments. I hope not to be charged for this complaint.

Payment structure not clear
We reached out Sept. 25th, 2022 because we had a sick cat. We thought we were being charged $2 when terms and conditions were sent. Then immediately upon receiving the terms and conditions, there was someone on the line asking to help. There was no time to review the terms and conditions. We were worried about how much would be charged so we got off the chat hoping no charges would be made only to find out that $44 dollars were charged with no services rendered.
We immediately called customer service but could not get through. We wrote an email and received a response requesting information. We provided the information and followed up five times. No further response was received.
Desired outcome: Would you please refund the money? We had no idea we had agreed to pay this and did not receive any information in the five minutes chatting.

Misleading cost
The initial contact indicates that there is a $5 cost associated for posting the question. When processing the payment I saw something to the effect of “You agree to pay $5 and $39 a month.” I view that as intentionally misleading language. I assumed I would pay $5 to ask one question as the ad stated but was in fact charged $39 to ask one question. Furthermore, this is a recurring monthly payment (which I cancelled but was nonetheless billed the initial $39).
