Unauthorised charges on credit Card
The just answer webpage said that its EUR 5 for a question. I asked the question and received an answer. I also received EUR 5 charge. However, I recognize that a membership fee of 49 EUR/month was already 3 times charged to me on my Paypal acount (EUR 147). I had no idea I was signing up for and have not used since I asked the very first question.
The charges were done on: Jul 27th 2022; Aug 27th, and Sep 27th 2022.
I tried to cancel these payments via Paypal and cancel the membership. I do not know if it was working.
Not being clear about the membership is a deceptive practice and should be stopped.

I paid 5 dollars to have one question answered! Now they are charging me 28 dollars for a service I did not approve. This started on september18 2022 Now they want me to pay a dollar to log into their website to cancel my account. Do I need to report them to the FTC? Charged 28.00 dollars for an extra month that i did not approve. I only wanted the one question answered.

Just Answer Billing Practice
Just Answer advertised $5 for to join (fully refundable) to ask a question. After I began the chat it said they would charge me $5 then a page popped up asking which membership I would like. I clicked outside that box to get out of that screen. It proceeded to ask me a series of question then I was able to ask my question and received a response. Later that day, I noticed the $5 was taken from my account along with a $60 withdraw. I called and was told I was enrolled in a membership. They cancelled my monthly membership but would not reimburse me the $60. This is a very deceptive website.

explained to person on chat 9/22/22 about 6pm. was told someone would be able to help me. she asked if there was anything else I said yes before I was connected. how much is this. she said a $1. I told her I just wanted to ask a question. No mention of membership or $28.00. the way I found out the money was taken out was from my email. I only knew about the $1. Service call for dishwasher [protected]; 3pm cdt
Listed my issues with LG dishwasher - just wanted someone to brainstorm my problem. Didn’t appear the issue was a big deal as control board appeared to be working and Al lights working. I wrote down my issues and received a respinse that the technicians would definitely be able to help me. So I proceeded. What a joke. First reponse from techinician was I should consider replacing my door lock. I thought he was joking! Questions he asked made it clear he didnt even read my issues. He forwarded a link to a video for a Washing machine repair and not a dishwasher. This is the third time I fell for this service - what a scam. I don’t feel any of the techs ive dealt with were knowledgeable in the areas and never did I get a positive resolution! Its a joke!

I checked my credit card and saw your company has taken out $67.98 on the10th of September. I did not sign up for any subscriptions and when I tried to talk to someone your automated service said I would be put on to a tech. I was redirected to your sign up page and asked for my credit card details. I don't know how you accessed my card and took money out but noticed you asked for $2 and from what I see you here and on your site are running a scam. I was charged 46 dollars I did not agree too I want my money back ! I was first charged by WinZip and found your website I typed in asking how to get a refund was then sent to other page and a rep named Stephen popped up on my page and asks if I want him to securely come on to my computer to fix and see issue but was going to charge me. On 9-20-22, I was told I would be charged a $5 trial charge to ask my question, but was instead charged $51. I have been trying to get someone to help me, but there's no response. Also, Just Answer "help" links come back with error messages. I just want $46 refunded to me, and assurance that I am not in any way going to be charged for a membership.

Unauthorized Fee
I was under the understanding that I was only to pay $2 for help from an assistant. It said you could cancel membership anytime. Nowhere did I see that there was an 86.00 fee on top of that.
When I contacted them about it, they said it was right underneath the ad and I would not be getting a refund.
I went back online and found a page that had many other people claiming the same issue. I took a screenshot of the page I went to in order to chat with an assistant that had their advertisement on and I still don't see it.
I also took a screenshot of the 86.00 charge on my card.
If I had seen the 86.00 fee, I would not have went through with this.
They refuse to give me my money back.

Aug 27: Asked a question for a vet with the understanding that this was for a $2 CA trial. Didn't get a full answer as my pet needed to be seen directly.
Aug 28: Cancelled "membership".
Aug 31: VISA charged $42 without my knowledge or consent (unless these terms were hidden somewhere).
Had I known that this was the deal I would not have trialed the service.

When I contacted them about it, they said this information was out in the open, which it wasn't, and will not be refunding me my money. On Sept 10,2022 I signed up with Just Answer . On there web site they offered a trail period for 1.00 and after that trail period I would be charged 34.00 per month until canceled. If I was unhappy with the service I could cancel anytime during the trail period and I would not be charged anymore than the 1.00. On Sept 11, 2022 I canceled because of poor service and a poor response. I asked a mechanic a question, he directed me to a form a told me he would answer my question for $1, after filling out the form, My card was charged $1 and then immediately $34. I did not authorize this, and so I called customer support. The lady was extremely rude, wouldn't give me a supervisor and told me there was no service that cost a dollar when the mechanic clearly stated it was only a dollar. This is fraud and i want my money back. I will be contacting my financial institution to dispute these charges immediately.

Beware of the misleading charges
I was told I would be charged a one time, refundable $5 fee before I could be connected to a doctor. I was instead charged $46 twice. When I contacted customer care I was told I should have reviewed their payment policy prior. The policy states you will be charged for a $46 monthly membership fee and only the $5 joining fee is refundable. This was purposely left out to me when I agreed to the $5 fee and their justification is that I should have done better. Total scam trash.

I never signed up for a membership and requesting a full refund for the current month and last month as I had no understanding of this scam membership.

Misleading advertising on the website. It told me that for $1 that was fully refundable I could get a question answered but it never stated that they were going to charge me $34 as well for a reoccurring membership. When I was billed immediately I was billed two charges. I right away contacted their customer service and ask for my $34 back because I didn't have a month's worth of questions I had one question. It never made clear that they were going to charge me $34 for a reoccurring membership. And I wanted my money back and they told me that I could discontinue my membership but they were not giving me my $34 back 5 minutes after they billed me for it. The website was deceptive it didn't say anything about the reoccurring membership on that page I would have had to go two or three pages in to find that out they should have just given me my money back.
