Where have you obtained my banking details from?
I have never signed to this service.
I found a £50 transaction from yourselves today, I have emailed and been refunded.
However there is one from 13th October where £50 was taken from my account.
I find this dishonest and fraudulent, and informing my bank fraud team about this.

Unauthorized credit card charges
I am complaining about the fact that there are unauthorized credit card charges being charged to my credit card monthly and I want to cancel this. I do not want any more charges to my card so please cancel my membership and refund my money. I am on social security and cannot afford this. Your 350ch is insane as I believe this site is. So, once again, I ask you to cancel this account and return any monies you've charged to it.

I paid my $5.00 and my question was answered and that was on July 20th. The next thing you know $29 is deducted from my account on August 2nd. I didn't agree to a subscription!. I emailed Just Answer and was told that is how it works and it was just left at that. After your $5 payment for your question, then the $29 fee is deducted. I said that I didn't want the subscription just paid my $5 for that particular question about my dog. It is still trying to be taken out of my account. I was upset enough that I didn't receive the $29 back but now they keep trying to take the amount out of my account. Unwanted membership and won't refund charges
Back in april 2020, after thinking over whether to take my cat to a vet about something I wasn't even sure was a prob I decided to try justanswer out. Like most people, I saw a $5 promo for a question so I filled out the form and submitted with the understanding that it would cost only $5 unless someone answers your question... But only then do you pay, and you pay that person directly if you feel they provided you the information needed and requested. Fast forward and the vet did indeed do that... So I paid him $75 or something which was a lot cheaper than a vet visit so win win right? Wrong! I was balancing my account and noticed these $29 monthly payment to justanswer and called my bank... I said I have no idea what this is for please dispute. I just got letters in the mail saying sorry but these are valid and I flipped out. So I called justanswer and they told me that I agreed to sign up for $29 month membership to which I steadfastly denied repeatedly, that I would not have agreed to pay $29 a month for one freaking question. The young lady agreed to refund 1 month but when pressed explained that they can only go back 90 days from cancellation... I said I don't care, how can you guys charge someone anything and not tell them when and why? She said did you not get the email we sent on april 20, 2020... I said absolutely not... She said I will forward it to you. So I hang up and scour my inbox for an email I may have missed but then it got me... That's how they are doing this. They claim they send you an email to which you don't actually get but they are able to provide screenshots to your bank so to them case closed... But I figured out it was the only email of theirs I didn't get... I even said who the hell is john cavenilli and she replied it's our sr. Executive... So I ended the all with don't you think its off that I got his canned spam email about welcome to justanswer... But I didn't get the one email from you your company that confirms to me whether I ever agreed to pay for your product... She had no response... So this is all a scam, fraud, theft... From another billion dollar company and they are allowed to keep doing it all because they provide falsified emails they generate but no one listens to consumer. I want the other $120 stolen from me and I want it back now.

I wish I had read your complaint. I found a 46$ charge on my credit card. Just Answers refused to refund me the money though did not give me any service at all. I'm wonder if there is something we can do as a group.
Tax question
I entered a war search IRS. Up came the links starting with IRS. Just Answer was line one. I opened the link thinking I was contacting the IRS. After going through the process of explaining my question and applying $1 to my debit card to get an agent. One came on to chat. I explained that I had filed electronically and arranged for a payment to be made to the IRS in the process. Unfortunately no payment was made. That's when the Just Answer agent informed me he was not with the IRS but it sounded to him like my payment had not been paid and I may owe penalties. I was surprised and yes you can say it naive and a little stupid because I did not realize I had signed up for a trial period of 7 days with Just Answer. I got off-line and logged into IRS.gov and made my payment. The penalty turned out to be $12.53. Now in the answer to a question I never got has cost me $151 in membership to Just Answer. It's been 3 months, I've never asked another question and it's too bad because the payments are non-refundable. Needless to say like a term life policy I did not need they are cancelled. In short when asking for some understanding about situation Just Answer gave me their last answer ever! Non-Refundable no matter what. Maybe they have answers but they lack integrity too. What a crappy way to treat customers. Where the sun don't shine Just Answer. BBB A+ my foot.

On Sept 10, 2020 I used just answer after waiting for 45 minutes to call social security office. I knew it would cost $1. I texted with Barbara. I am now having $50 taken from my account which I don't understand because I unsubscribed. I talked to the complaint department which pretty much told me I wasn't very smart I need to read things more carefully. He did cancel it for me. I guess it is on me. This is a hardship for a retired person on social security. So I am considering you as a scam and I can only complain to the Social Security Office that they made a mistake using you.

Veterinary consultation
Approx 3-4 months ago I called this veterinary service on a Sunday when I could not get into my regular vet regarding my diabetic dog. She would not eat and needed insulin shots. We were on the phone about 15 min. Vet Andy made a couple of suggestions pertaining to how much I should try to feed her and the need to inject the insulin.
I believe the web sight indicated a cost around $28 to $30. Once into the service they indicated an addition cost of less than $40.
Now I am sure all of this was explained to me before actually speaking with a vet. The kicker came later on my Discover account when there appeared a $31 charge. Since I had already approved the est. $70 for the initial contact and consultation I of course immediately called JUST ANSWER for an explanation. They told me that there was a contract for $31 a month for a year that was discussed before the vet conversation. There is no way
I would not have agreed to $442 in total expenses. I would have fed my dog something improper so she could have received her insulin. Then I could have gotten her to our vet the next day.

Then it asked for another credit card again. Sounds like a scam. No technician came on the site to find out what was wrong which was supposed to happen after my payment as per their conversation. I need some assistance with my TV and decided to use JustAnswer since it was one of the first sites I found. They asked for a 1$ fee, which was fine. I was unaware that apparently I has signed up for 46$ a month subscribtion. I didnt even notice this until later when I went and checked my bank status. In early September I used this service once, and paid $5.00 to be connected to a veterinarian regarding a question about my dog. I was unaware of any requirement for and never agreed to enroll in a monthly service. After contacting the company, I was told I was not eligible for a refund of their monthly service fee of $29.00 but could cancel the subscription, which I did. This amount was billed 5 days after my initial contact with the vet. Again, I never agreed to a subscription service of any kind and the service, presumably is paid in advance for a monthly service which I have not used. I feel a total refund is in order.

Unauthorised credit card payment and obstructive communications
The "Justanswer" online questions service has been showing many of the hallmarks of bad practice. In August I used my credit card to pay for a single question without membership. My next statement showed a £50 membership payment so I returned to their website to cancel my membership.
The links to cancel membership failed.
I then used their live chat line when the appropriate operator confirmed that I was not recorded as a member but she went away mid-chat and I was redirected to their email address.
I submitted many details including (all the payment references on my statement) to the email address.
The first response was a message that my email had been undeliverable!
I later had a better response from their operator Dainne requesting a lot of information.
I re-compiled most of the information requested and emailed it.
The result was an apparently automatic reply that the email address was no longer active and I should go back to their website!
I resubmitted the requested data and emailed it advising that failure to achieve a satisfactory response by end of the day will result in me raising a complaint with my credit card provider.
There was no response that day and I found that Barclycard was quite impenetrable regarding reporting this malpractice.

On the internet search I was searching the address of Social Security office in Philadelphia which remains open in COVID time, zip code 18914 then the Cat popup appeared so I put the question text message in chat box. I did not get response so I called the given number then what I got the address is known and that office was closed. Actually the it was useless. Later on I got SMS text message from my bank informing charge of $50. In the chat pop up it asked for credit card number for identity but never mentioned about the membership or the service charge $50 for answering question. This is unfair and unethical and not acceptable.
I was travelling overseas and could not dispute the charge. Now I found all above charges for membership which I never asked for or agreed to.
I request you to refund the above charges on top priority and stop charging in future.
