KIA Motors complaint about servicing

TOOK MY CAR FOR SERVICE 5/11 FOR 70000 SERVICE. THEY STATED IT DID NOT HAVE A SERVICE FROM SUNBURY MOTORS LAST YEAR AND IT NEEDED DOUBLE SERVICE. I WAS SHOCKED AND WORRIED RE THE PRICING AS I COULD NOT AFFORD IT DUE TO NOT WORKING FOR MONTHS WITH COVID.
WHY DID THEY NOT CHECK SUNBURY MOTORS? THEY JUST WENT AHEAD TO DO IT AS I HAD NOT CHOICE. MATT TOLD ME MY WARRANTY WOULD BE VOID IF I DID NOT DO THE 2 SERVICES.., QUITE RIDICLOUS AS WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE INVOICE KBZKT448 IT STATES NOTHING JUST ONE SERVICE 306.45... AND REST LABOUR COSTS RIDILOUS.
I ASKED FOR MY APPLE PLAY FIXED AND THIS IS STILL NOT WORKING?
THE NEXT DAY SOMETHNG WAS MAKING A NOISE UNDERNEATH THE CAR IN THE FRONT, BANGING NOISE I TOOK IT BACK AFTER THE WEEKEND.
THEY SAID OH! just something needed fixing. this was bad and they didnt bother to hoist it at all... very bad service as far as i am concerned and i will
not go back their ever! it was all a nightmare.

Desired outcome: a refund or credit on my account as this is not on.

KIA Motors power window motor warranty issue

i am using KIA sportage AWD since February 2021, couple of month before i had issue in driving side power window i visited kia motors dha and they informed me that motor is not working and need to be replaced, my milage of vehicle at that time was 22, 000 km i asked them to change it in warranty but they told me that as i am not maintaining my vehicle for kia motors so they wont change it in warranty and i have to pay for the motor. i already filed my complaint 2 time on this portal if this time my complaint will be unattended i will approach through legal system and will make sure that i will get my warranty after court order

KIA Motors Service not necessary

Recently my wife took our 2019 sorento in for its scheduled oil change and with concerns about occasional clunking in drive train. She was told the problem was that it needed a transmission flush. They didn't investigate the problem first but did the flush. They also identified a problem with the inboard axel joint wear which was in fact causing the clunk which they were aware. The flush was expensive and unnecessary according to a corporate Kia mechanical engineer. This seems like a ripoff that they perpetrated on my wife. We have owned multiple KIAs but will not purchase any in the future. This is the Beavercreek Ohio dealer. Buyer be ware of this dealer.

KIA Motors Recall engine motor

Hello I'm Barbara my car my car 2012 Kia Sportage had an engine recall. It's been almost 4 months now that I've been waiting for my vehicle to be fixed and ready I was told my car was going to be ready today 11/19/21 . So unfortunately was told that there's something else they weren't aware of now they have to order new parts and wait another three weeks this is ridiculous I've been waiting all this time for nothing. Kia dealership at Redding California didn't want to loan or get me a rental car because they are franchise I can't drive a vehicle out of state. They want me to pay out of pocket I can't afford for that. So they expect me to be without a vehicle. I feel that they are not being responsible and not being helpful at all!

Crowley KIA in Bristol, CT has the worst service that I have ever come across. My car was towed to their facility on 9/22/2021 with engine failure. My 2016 Sorrento has 51,500 miles on it. Apparently this engine failure is a problem for many KIA owners as the was a Class Action Lawsuit that settled in 8/2021 which I was unaware of. My car was diagnosed on 9/30/2021. I was told it would be covered under warranty and would be ready in 3-4 weeks. They would not give me a loaner or rental. I was told I would have to go to corporate KIA to pursue a rental. I did that and was told KIA would only cover $35 per day and the cheapest rental is $70 plus tax. My daughter has a KIA Sportage that had the same engine issue about 3 weeks ago and it was towed to KIA of Danbury, CT and she was given a rental right up front with no cost to her. She should have her car back in a few days. Every time we call Crowley KIA and speak with the service manager we are always told it will be 2-3 weeks tops. My husband even asked to speak with Mr. Crowley directly about 2 weeks ago and he said he would check to see what was going on and call my husband back. We never received a phone call. I filed a complaint online and received an email confirmation that I would hear back in 1-2 business days. It's been three weeks with once again nothing. I called KIA customer service on Friday 12/10/2021. I was put on hold while the called Crowley KIA service department. When they got back on I was told they had to leave a voicemail and would call me Monday. Here it is Thursday and still nothing. We are now the week before Christmas and still no car. I am both frustrated and disgusted with the lack of custom service I have received Kia and especially Crowley KIA. We have 3 KIAs in our household, As much as we all love the cars after this experience you could not pay us to buy another KIA!

KIA Motors No transparency when selling cars.

To whom it may concern
This is regarding a vehicle I bought on the 09 of November 2020 at Kia in Randburg. It is a Renault Clio GT Line. Bought the car and was never told about it missing the 60 000 km service from the previous owner .After a month of me buying the car the car started overheating took the car to Renault alberton and was told the car was previously in an accident which i was never told about on the PreSale and that is why it had a radiator that needed to be replaced and a thermostat that needed to be replaced. 3 weeks later fetched the car and they said the car was fine. Took the car again and it gave me the same problem, Took the car again and was told it's the coolant. Fetched the car again after they declared it to be fine, Gave me the same problem again and took it back again was told the first thermostat they replaced was faulty and they had to replace it yet again. fetched it again after it was declared fine all over again Gave me the same problem again. So the car has been giving me problems and I have been taking it and it comes back without getting fixed. I took the car to the Garage for about 10 times now with the same problem without getting assistance.
Another issue is the fact that I have to pay 25% of the costs are because of the Service that was missed by the previous owner that I know nothing about. I didn't know the car has a missed service until I took the car to renault, i didn't know the car was previously in an accident until they assessed it at Renault and I also didn't know I was liable to pay for a missed service I didn't know was missed for as long as I own the car until they told me at Renault in Alberton.
Furthermore the fact that this is an inconvenience to me. They always say there are no courtesy cars available always. The first 25% Kia Randburg agreed to paying  because they acknowledge that I didn't know anything about the service that was missed now they are saying because the car has been sold for more than a year and it's not their issue anymore whereas the car has been giving me the same problem even before it was a year old now because it is a year old the find a loophole.I'm really not happy about the service from both Garages.Please assist further

KIA Motors the original paint of my kia is falling off

the original paint of my kia Sorrento is falling off from the front windshield.

I have an old 2002 Grand Dodge caravan and a 2004 Ford truck they are both white and the paint has never fallen off. My Kia 2013 Kia Sorrento is a snow white and the paint started to fall off as soon as it hit 100000 miles sorry i didn't report it sooner but i keep on looking on where to go to report it.

this should not happened if it has never happened to my older cars
The metal of my Kia is showing and I do not want it to get worst as of yet it has not rusted but due to it being raining season it will start and it will make it bigger.

Desired outcome: Please take care of the situation because the metal is showing and i do not want it to get rusted

KIA Motors 2013 Kia Optima PAINT PEELING

I bought my 2013 Kia Optima brand New from Folsom Lake Kia. This car cost me $32, 000. I paid this car off within six months. All of my family buys from this Kia dealer, and have bought several vehicles each. But our family will not be buying any more Kia cars because my car has had the paint peeling since the first year of me buying it. I have only had the maintenance done at the Kia dealer where I bought it and every time have asked Kia to fix the issue and they claim it's not their issue there's no recalls on it. But when I look it up online there's thousands of people with the same exact issue. The fact that Kia has not made this right, they are going to lose a ton of business. Because each of my family members my dad my two brothers my sister all on their own businesses and we're buying Kia‘s however will not be doing that any longer. We always recommended Kia to our clients and will not be doing that either. The paint started peeling from around the windows now it's on the fenders and the trunk it's looks horrible it should not be doing that. And Kia should have made this right, if they had we would still buy cars from there.

KIA Motors 2014 kia Sorento Paint pealing .

My vehicle has 38000 miles on it and the paint is pealing of the front hood roof and door post this is becoming a real issue it is pearl white . This is a factory problem and needs to be taken care of by Kia .The is my second Kia and will be my last if the company does not stand behind it's product. I am trying to resolve this with your company before i file a complaint with the government state and local and contacting my state attorney generals office. KIA Motors 2020 Kia Soul Unsafe Vehicle

Vehicle was purchased NEW July 2020. December 2020 issues started happening, taken back to the dealer, concerns were dismissed or no issues found. After many trips to the service department a new engine was supposedly installed October 2021. Today, November 9, 2021 the issues started AGAIN and worse. The check engine light came on again along with other warning lights. The whole car shakes terribly and "stutters" while driving. This car is UNSAFE for me and my family. I have submitted two formal complaints to KIA of America (#[protected] and #[protected]). If a new engine was installed, why was the odometer not reset and why are the issues still happening? First photo of check engine light 8/29/21 with mileage and todays check engine light with mileage. I have pdf copies of receipts that won't attach here.

KIA Motors 2016 Kia Sorento

On 10/28/21 our 2016 Kia Sorento hood paint started to suddenly peel in very large pieces. This happened without any warning while my husband was driving in rain, as the pieces peeled off they stuck to the windshield and caused a significant driving hazard. This is evidence of a clear failure of the factory paint to properly stay adherred to the body of the car. We have reached out to Kia consumer resources both online and directly by phone, and have simply been told that there is nothing that can be done since the car is over 36, 000 miles. We have filed a complaint report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Desired outcome: Acknowledgment that this is factory defect and a corrected paint job by Kia.

KIA Motors 2015 Kia Optima Paint Peeling

I purchased a 2015 Kia optima back in January 2018. Since then, a spot of paint missing formed on the rear passenger-side door that has expanded to the size of two fists. I brought the vehicle to a local body repair shop recommended by my auto insurance provider to get the work done. Upon starting the work, the shop owner immediately informed me that the paint was "delaminating" and is not adhering to the primer at all. I did some research and found this unfortunately is a common problem on Kia Optimas with the "Snow Pearl White" paint finish. I've contacted the dealership, purchased a vehicle history report and filed a complaint with the NHTSA. The issue is still outstanding. All I want is for Kia to pay for a new paint job.

KIA Motors late arrival of my car

Respected Concerns !
I booked a Car in APRIL and the Delivery Month Was SEPTEMBER..
I've Submitted my Total amount a couple of Months Before..
But Dealer is asking me again and again that there is some issue and Your car will be delivered in January or maybe Later..
Sir I'm very disappointed by all this Delay..
Please manage my just 1 unit and I'll be so thankful for this little and kind Favor . I work here in the 7 News Head office and I have complained many times by calling on UAN Number. But there is no Response .

I am also facing the same issue... I have booked car in June 2021 but till date not getting delivery as they have given us timeline of 12-15 weeks but till date they have no updates for CAR.
I think they are vesting time...
Now if I go for another CAR they have hiked their prices from August 21...
SO, I lost my depreciation for Six months + Loss of my Energy + Interest on Rs25 K ...
I am thinking that I am really a foolish.

KIA Motors Window trim

I have a 2021 kia Sportage night edition which I payed over $30.000 fir
As you can see the black trim around the windows are faded and the color is coming off. The car only has 7500 miles in
It.This sound not be happening. This issues has been going on, it, , seems, fir a number of years .Kia should have fixed this issue by now
I want new trim put on..It's only 7 months old .No other cars have this issue Only Kia, s Kia has known about this issue fir years .Their new Tellurides and soul that have black trim have the same issues .You think after 8 years they would have fixed the issue.

KIA Motors I have a 2014 Kia Sorento Pearl white with 46000 miles and the paint is coming off in junks

I noticed on my roof first a small patch of paint came off in October of 2021. Now November 1 2021, I have another huge spot where the paint flew off my car while driving 65 . I find this to be a huge problem seeing the car is not that old and it does not have that many miles on it. I have seen there are other complaints for this same issue. I certainly hope that kia will do something to fix this.

I received a letter from Kia for my 2014 Sedona I did not look at the top which that the recall was for the 2015 to 2017 however my 2014 model also has a recall on the same sliding door issue just a little bit less coverage for the 2014 then the 2015 through 2017 models. KIA Motors Service

Service in Round Rock Tx. I called for a broke trunk latch. No answer. Automated system told me to hold for a rep and then went into a loop of telling me to enter parties extension. Tried scheduling online and it provided me with the phone number. Showed up to the service department where I the first thing I saw was a service rep playing on his cell phone. He did not acknowledge my presence. Someone came from behind the scenes about a minutes later. Explained my issues and was told I had to LEAVE my car for 5 days no lender. What am I suppose to do with no vehicle for 5 days? There is life and work that requires me ro have a vehicle. On top of that he tells me he has had vehicles here for months. Why would I even think of possibly leaving my car for 5 days when he tells me he had had cars for months. Horrible service. An appointment is for "face time" not fixing the vehicle. haha. Laughable. seems they have no idea of what an appointment is. when I asked if I could schedule and bring my car back in 5 days I was told no. I could bring it back in 5 days but then they would still hold it for 5 days before potentially working on it. If this is KIA service, I will never buy kia again. Just saying. Oh and my trunk latch I am pretty certain a recall. But now I will be paying out of my own pocket since I can't go 5 days with no vehicle!

Desired outcome: Make an appointment. Drop car off for couple hours, the whole day at most and leave with a fully functional vehicle

KIA Motors Service

Hey folk,
The service provided by Nivan babaji is worst. I would suggest to go with some other dealer or car company that coming to them. They will make sure to make your life miserable from the day you book the car to every time you take it for service.
First, they will force you to purchase extended warranty, accessories and insurance from them only. If you say no then they will deny the delivery of car saying its company policy and we can't give you car. JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW KIA MOTORS DOSN'T SAY SO, ITS NIVAN BALAJI POLICY.
The service center is worst than their sales office. you have no clue when the car will be delivered. They will keep on increasing the time of delivery. On top of it, they will damage your car physically or its paint. Also, they have a team of calling associates who have no clue what is going on but will keep on calling you for a good rating and good customer satisfaction response. I have even noticed that the folks at the service center fill in the satisfaction form on their own and ask the customer to sign it.
When I said I am going to raise a complaint against all this they were like whom would you raise a complaint, noting is going to happen even if you raise a complaint.
Its better not to be associated with them if you want peace of mind.

KIA Motors Motor and clicking

I have a 2014 kia forte koup, 120, 500 miles.
About a month ago the car started skipping especially at a stop sign or red light, I stop driving it, and called Kia got an appointment, I was told it was the fuel injector, had it cleaned and a oil changed. Today I thought I would need a tow, the car is skipping a d you can feel the motor jumping I am scared I am going to be hurt.
