In July 2023 my dryer stopped drying. I contacted The Brick who referred me to King and State.
I contacted them and they sent a technician out to [censored] my dryer. A week later they made a repair. This did not fix the issue and I placed my second call. They came out again and made a second attempt, this also did not fix the issue. I contacted them a third time and the technician said I need a new motor.
A few days later I received a call from King and State who offered me a $359 credit towards a new purchase. I said “what about the third repair?” They said it would cost more to install a new motor than what the dryer is currently worth. I said “what about a replacement?” They said “your warranty does not include replacement”.
All the information offered by both The Brick and King and State say they will do three major repairs and if that doesn’t fix the issue, will replace with a comparable product. It also promises a “No lemon policy. “ King and State says “yes we will replace by giving you a pro-rated credit at 1%” not an actual unit replacement.
Desired outcome: Replacement dryer or credit for the original amount of the dryer.
