Popped into shop after work to place a bet at Cheltenham, put an each way bet on a race which before they started they said there paying 4 places on, so placed my bet on the bet terminal an left checked result an yay finished 4th so went back to collect an hay presto no win 🤷♂️ Cause the bet terminal in shop only pays 3 places ? What! How hell does that work!the bet is still placed in shop!why would you encourage people to us a bet terminal an it pays less places! they put bet terminals in shop to make it quicker for you to make a bet not to rip you off! absolute joke!
Withdrawal
No problems depositing, as soon as I win and try to withdraw the funds my account is put on a security check, I have sent all the documents asked and I am still being asked for more information. it is like they are reluctant to pay out and I have read the reviews and most of them are exactly the same issue as mine.
I was relying on that money and you don't understand what situation this has put me in my panic attacks are extremely bad.

Your Agent called Sharon at Hurst Street shop in birmingham is not helpful..rude and ignorant about betting machine ...rules etc.her attitudes is shocking and unfriendly.
She first asked a customer to leave after spending a huge amount on gaming machine and he losts, and because of standing there watching others player from a reasonable distance, no complaint about it, but your agent Sharon get out of the office and asked him to leave if he is not playing anymore on machine ?.!, and she said due to omnicom pandemic rules has changes ...he was wearing a mask ..clean and behaving ...I have no idea where that's comes from as there were no notice in front shop board about that updates.
Her way of talking is disgusting and the way she is dressing is a bit rough too ...( you can check that ...a bit dirty and rough .. sorry but its true )
I am a customer of ladbrook from a long time and never saw such behaviour and attitude from any agent like her.
I kindly asked you please to investigate that agent ...she is not worth the effort done by ladbrook to make customer at ease to play and gamble in safe manners and happy way while she kept that horrible attitudes towards your customers . Not fair on us.

unethical behaviour
I regularly use Labrokes in west granton road Edinburgh and picked two winners yesterday 6-08-21 as part of a Trixie. I took the prices of 17/2 and 16/1 and the returns should have been £80.75. I was offered less that half of that. I queried this and the assistant seemed lost and did not know what to do. after about half an hour she motioned me to a web page on the internal tv which said that rule 4 applied and little else. She then said that one of the races had a deduction of 10p in the pound while the other race had a deduction of 60p in the pound. This was not mentioned in the morning papers results nor after watching both races. So this stealth tax is imposed by the Book makers and seems not to be regulated in any way, yet the Blair Government removed betting tax. The punters who are at the mercy of the bookmaking cartel have no comeback on this kind of theft and just as bad the staff seem not to know anything either. I will not use Ladbrokes again as this is a crime in all but name and yet another way to rip the punter off. At least now there is the alternative of online betting where rip offs don't appear to take place and this make it up as you go along rule 4 is not used as a weapon to rip punters off. What a disgrace and Ladbrokes which are a huge institution and rely on working class people in the main to place bets should endear to steal by the back door.

yesterday 25th may 2021, i went into the nantwich branch of ladbrooks to play some slot games before my appointment { i dont live in Nantwich but live in Handforth} and i have visited the handforth and wilmslow branch quite a few times without any problems and am known by staff, ive also not encountered such discrimination.
i was ponced upon by a member of staff, i dont know his name and am presuming it was a manager but he was bald and in 30s immediatly asking why i wasnt wearing a mask. i explaind that i was exempt i was wearing my latyard, he said O.k and seemed to accept this. however 1 min later after i had put money in the terminal he returned to me not social distancing and in a loud voice asked if i had a mask on me, i said no i explained i have asthma and heyfever and also another private reason. he then told me he has asthma and pushed an inhalor in my face then asked me to leave, i was shocked and humiliated, this person simply didnt accept my reason even though they are not allowed to ask the reason for exeption he decided to humiliate me in front of everyone just because he claimed to have asthma but bravely wore a mask at work to whilst shouting inches from my face. i cashed my money out and noticed his co worker WASNT wearing a mask and all the other customers watched me be removed from the shop. this employee of yours also knocked on the plastic screen between us as well for some reason... i was so angry humiliated and felt very low afterwards, especially since i recently spent alot of money last week in the handforth branch of ladbrooks.
i intend to take legal advice about this bully.

apparently its blatant descriminination and you should be able to get legal aid for a civil case against Ladbrokes please check it out in reality Ladbrokes are apparently very silly and I did give a lot of evidence to the Westminster Gov regarding the FOBTS which has now been reduced to £2.00 a stake my colleagues recently appeared on News night on Television explaining about FOBT machines, I have every faith more action will follow against Ladbrokes if you feel you are being intimidated you can contact the police Ladbrokes do not like police intervention as this is recorded as a crime statistic and will go against them for future licensing under the gaming board for Great Brittan anyhow I hope this info helps remember keep a note of everything they say or at Ladbrokes and it will go against for future gaming enterprises on a finally point Ladbrokes coral which is now amalgamated have been fined 4.4 million GBP as a gambling addict gambled away 98, 000 thousand GBP I hope these comment will help any future problems with this apparent betting company named Ladbrokes
Failing to comply with self exclusion policy
I have tried to reach out to ladbrokes to resolve this matter since the 26/04/21. I feel ladbrokes have took advantage of a problem gambler and since this incident my mental state as declined.
On the 10.04.21 I reached out for support with gamstop who gave me advice and helped me to put a self exclusion ban in place with all online casinos I had registered with.
I felt this was in my best interests along with my families as I felt that while my accounts were open I had no control over the frequency or amount I was depositing .
It was getting to the point I wasn't Caring if I was winning or losing as long as I was able to play slot games.
After about a week of gamstop being in place I began to go on to check that my accounts had been blocked and started to delete the apps from my phone.
It was the I realised that ladbrokes had failed to close my account down and problems began again. I knew if i deposited and even if I won anything that I would not have been able to withdraw because of my ban.
Over a 12 day period ladbrokes allowed me to deposit over £2000 knowing that any winnings would not be allowed be withdrawn but happily aloud for the deposits to be made.
I got in contact with a member of staff from the ladbrokes live chat team on the 26.04.21 who confirmed that gamstop was definitely in place.
I then contacted gamstop on the 26.04.21 who advised me to email ladbrokes and send them a copy of my registration. I can also confirm gamstop also passed over this information to ladbrokes.
It was only after this email that ladbrokes saw their error and my account was then closed.
I feel extremely cheated by ladbrokes, I have been a valid customer for years and they failed to safeguard and comply with their self exclusion policy.
Desired outcome: An apology and refund of deposits made while my self exclusion was in place

On Saturday 10.04.21 I went online and opened an account with Ladbrokes in order to place a bet on the Grand National. I also did this with William Hill's too. As I didn't really know what I wwas doing and I wwanted to see which website seemed most user-friendly. I am a single, 71 years old female who hardly ever bets, except once every few years on the Grand National.
Owing to lockdown restrictions I couldn't (as far as I was aware) go into the local betting shops.
I scribbled notes madly with regard to the horses just prior to the race. By a fluke, I looked at my screen, saw a name and the odds and placed a bet on it. It was my last name - and it came first. Just looked at my notes again - cos I forgot its name. It was Minella Times. I didn't even know it had a female jockey until the end.
As it was online and I used my debit card, I went a bit mad and placed £10 bets on all the horses. I don't even know if I did 3 horses with both companies or 3 with one and 4 with the other. I don't even know if the bets I placed were 'to win' or 'each way'.
At first I thought, at the end, that I'd also got the 4th in the race. But this was changed later. But, I won £130 on Minella Times with Ladbrokes.
I didn't bother to check my account for a couple of days but, when I did no monies had gone into my bank account. So, I checked my new account with Ladbrokes online. (I've photo-copied it all out so have just checked through the photocopies). They have placed account restrictions on my account until I can verify that it is me. I have sent them pictures of my debit card front and back. I have told them that I don't have a passport - and never have. I've told them that I don't drive and so have never had a drivers licence. I've sent them pictures of my Freedom Pass, both front and back, which has my picture on it. But none of this is good enough for them. They said that there was no signature on the card. But there is no signature strip on the Freedom Pass. They have asked for a National ID card. I have told them that I don't have one and that to my knowledge the UK doesn't have them. The only National card that I was ever issued with was one with my national insurance number printed on it. They haven't replied to this. So, I am still waiting for my legal winnings.
Desired outcome: My Grand National winnings of £130.
Gaming machine
I cannot believe that you can play a machine and put £170 pound in it and never get any feature or any win over £3, and that never happened very often. I understand this may seem like sour grapes. But in all the years I have played these machines it has never been as bad as that! I shan't be back and I will be telling everyone how bad your machines have got. 80% pay out is just a bare faced lie in my opinion. Luckily I can afford to lose that kind of money but what chance do some people have. Just to add I have never complained about anything in my life regarding gambling cause as I like to say you pay your money you take your chance. But that just felt like a donation.
About a possible fraud
I placed 2 bets on us elections these bets are not settled as there is evidence of a possible fraud and this is leading to the us courts involvement,
So one would think that ladbrokes would wait till the outcome of the court proceedings,
I am wiating on some sort of correspondence with ladbrokes but nothing so far.
I indend to wait 2 weeks before I go see my lawyer.

All I want is my winnings from Ladbrokes been trying to get them for 7days now but no payment I am not happy Ronald Garbutt.
mistake on her stake by staff cost me £1400 winnings
On Saturday I placed a bet for £1.00 "Lucky 63" but a member of Ladbrokes staff in betting shop no. 1505 only recorded the sum of 63 pence on the system. As it has not been corrected by staff member and I had five winning horses out of six return winning about £1400 and has not been settled yet, I now wish to have that mistake resolved. Put a bet on in my local Ladbrokes BTTS and Win and I said it would be 1-1 in Middlesbrough game going onto the 3pm ko I said BTTS AND WIN on WEST BROM and KILMARNOCK game both were sitting at 1-1 on the 71st minute ... I had been checking my cash out all the way through and getting straight on no problem to the grid from 71 minutes to FULL TIME nothing, thought it was very convenient that I couldn't get back on the Grid for the opportunity of a cash out just kept saying loading 😂😂😂 what a joke .. when I went on complaints it seems to be a regular accourance with Ladbrokes so I won't be back !

i had a 2.00 4 team bet on the 13/10/18 i was watching the cash out as it was up to 38 pounds then you changed the score on on of my bets to 1-1 the cash out went down to 4.80 it was in the 86th min so i cashed out when i looked on my bet history the gsme never went to 1-1 it should of said 2-0 the cadh out should of went up not down ...the fact is i had 2 teams winning with two more to play later why would i cash out in the 86th min with two team winning easy ...it is your mistake i want to to oay out on my bet or i will take it to the papers and social media please look in to it you can see its your mistake did you do it because my team was 45-1 and you dont like losing

I was self excluded with ladbrokes from 2015 onwards...when they merged with coral they allowed me to continue with them...enrolled me in a vip scheme which meant having to deposit and eager large amounts...they kept enticing me and even though they admitted they knew of my exclusion...i even called managers from both ladbrokes and coral and they said this could never happen and that players would be rigorously monitored for even small deposits...they also informed me that they data share self exclusion between them as they are the same company...anyway...they made me incur losses of thousands after i had been self excluded and have sinply told me they dont care and that they have no duty of care...i even have the recorded phone call of the managers confirming that this situation could never happen..even after all of this laeticia at complaints said they will not reply to me anymore so i am going to release all emails and evidence relating to this to the press and all of their emails and the telephone calls...any advice would be welcome

I was attracted to a Ladbrokes advert which appeared when I opened my Racing Post App on the morning of 21/06/18 which was advertising a promotion that a free £10 bet would be given for each of the 5 races after the first (2.30) at Ascot on 21/06/18 if customers opened a new account with the promo code CARD and placed a £20 stake on the opening race (2.30pm). I subsequently opened a new Ladbrokes account, deposited £20 using the promo code CARD and proceeded to place a £20 stake on the first race at Ascot (2.30). I did not receive the free bets on any of the following races and despite numerous attempts to contact you, your customer service team have been truly terrible and I have had to resort to lodging a formal complaint. You are clearly in breach of advertising standards and you have clearly misled me into buying your products/services with false promises of free bets. I therefore request a full refund of the £20 which I deposited with you as this has been obtained by yourselves through deception.
i'm complaining about a bet I placed in 1 of your betting shops
I placed 2 bets on Sunday at 2, 05, and the 1 I'm complaining about 1 minute later it was a bet of 15 euro on the favourite at nass in Ireland it clearly shows 15 euro win on Broadway 205, nass there were only 3 people in shop at time and 1 girl behind counter I just finished work on building site next to job I watched race and when horse won I had to rush mate was waiting out side in jeep I was on different job Monday so went to my local ladbrookes in killanarden which I use regularly and girl gave me back 21euro and 45 cent 9 something of the bet I had for 15 and 12 for other one I asked her to ring shop wasn't to helpful eventually did and the other person in the shop I done bet in said only done for 5 euro I asked for slips back its not a lot of money were talking about but the principle of it I feel very hard done buy I have a grid card for past 2 yrs or so but the way this has worked out won't be using ladbrookes again PS it clearly shows 15euro on docket why did girl not quirey my stake at time of bet been struck

Won a bet which I wanted to withdraw but It won't let me withdraw so I went into the shop on my dinner break which I thought would take 2 minutes and a hour later and numerous phone calls I get told that I can't withdraw my money because you need a picture of ID so I now after wait 72 hours before I can withdraw my money which I was relying on to pay bills and I've been told off from work and I now after work late tonight to cover be being late back from my dinner break, please explain? I've had an account for years so you should have all my details?
