I purchased my Chevy from Leson Chevrolet, covering the full price with warranty. I had to bring it in twice due to ignition issues and a stuck key. The second visit was critical. They held my truck for nearly two weeks without updates. I insisted on its return before they admitted to not diagnosing the issue. It was a terrible experience. After relocating, the problem persisted, so I consulted a local dealer. They identified the issue within three days, requiring a new shifter, which Leson failed to address initially. This ordeal started while the truck was still under warranty. Now, I'm facing significant expenses due to their poor service. The second encounter with them was in August , during the warranty period. Their service was deceptive and is now causing me financial strain.

I took my car to Leson Chevrolet last Thursday because my air conditioning wasn't working. I had to keep calling to find out what was going on with my car. They told me it would be ready by 4pm, but they never called me. When I got there, they told me they ran into a problem and a part was broken. They said my car wouldn't be ready until Monday. I needed a loaner car because I had to work over the weekend. At first, they said they didn't have any loaner cars, but then they said they had a big silverado truck. I didn't take it because I wasn't comfortable driving it. They said they would help me with the cost for my inconvenience. I went to pick up my car yesterday, but I had to call them again. When I got there, they only took off the taxes, which was $100. I asked about it, and Alex lied and said she never told me the part was broken. She did tell me because they kept my car for three days, and it was an inconvenience for me because I work overnight. More should have been done to compensate me for my inconvenience and her lies. She said the wrong part was ordered, but I have no reason to lie about her.

I got two new tires on 6/24 from Leson Chevrolet. I asked them to check my spare tire hoist because it wasn't working. When I picked up my truck, they said it was fine. But when I tried to use it on 6/26, it still didn't work. I called and made an appointment for 6/29 at 8:00 A.M. Service Advisor Alex said she saw the hoist working, but we still couldn't make it work. They said I could pay $125 to diagnose the problem or buy a new hoist for $525.00. I chose the diagnose option because Alex said the hoist was working up and down. The problem was that the tool to raise and lower the hoist was out of alignment. On the invoice, it said the hoist tube was bent and the retainer was missing. They said I had to buy a new hoist and tube, but I declined. When I got home, I fixed it myself by squeezing out a kink in the hard plastic tube and snapping the missing retainer back on. I'm not sure why a lube tech looked at it, why they said it couldn't be fixed, or why the tech couldn't see the retainer. Alex was just going by what the tech told her.
