I have had the WORST experience with this company. After meeting with a provider for less than 5 minutes, I was told that due to restrictions in California, the cost was going to be between $1,000 and $1,400 per month for this medication. This is out of my price range, which I let the provider know. However, they still sent the prescription to my local pharmacy and proceeded to charge me $387. (Which I believed was the cost of them to provide the medication prior to the additional pharmacy’s charge). After reaching out multiple times over the past several days to clarify what this charge was for, I have been unable to get anyone to contact me (despite their promise to return my call in 24 hours). I have accessed the portal with a generic response each time from a different provider. I FINALLY learned that the $387 was a charge that is for a 6 month membership! This was NEVER explained and I was told I would ONLY be charged for the price of the medication, which I will not be filling due to the high cost. I have now sent multiple messages to LifeMD requesting cancellation of my membership and a refund of the $387 membership fee. I let them know that if they needed to prorate my refund and charge me for one or two days of membership, prior to my request to cancel, that would be okay. (This is well within the typical 30-day cancellation policy for most companies). However, I continue to receive the SAME generic message, always from a different person, cannot reach a live person, do not receive callbacks within the promised 24-hour window, and can get no resolution to my request for cancellation and refund. This company is 100% fraudulent and I would stay FAR FAR away. For comparison, I am now working with a different company, who responds immediately via text, always with the same provider, offers FREE consultations (which I was told LifeMD did as well). In addition, the free consult with the new company was extremely thorough, not rushed as with LifeMD, compassionate, and they discussed ALL charges upfront so everything was very clear. The provider seemed to genuinely care about my health and well being, unlike my experience with LifeMD, and they spent over 30 minutes with me for the consult! Even better? The membership fee and fee for the medication is combined, at a price that is less than HALF of what I would have been paying for LifeMD ($445/mo for a 6 month membership and ALL medications)! And the best part? They deliver right to my door and I’m IN California! Which is something LifeMD said they wouldn’t be able to do due to restrictions on their company.
At this point, I am extremely frustrated. I had to let them know that if I do not receive a response from anyone within the next two business days, I will be filing a fraud report with my bank as well as reporting LifeMD to the BBB. There is NO reason for them to keep my $387 if I am not going to use their membership nor receive any prescriptions from their company. I feel lied to, cheated, and completely taken advantage of. Please please do your research before moving forward with this company. I wish I had. :(
Claimed loss: $387
Desired outcome: Cancellation of my membership and a refund of my $387.

Same experience but initial cost was framed as for a coupon which couldn’t actually be sued for the medication is was advertised for. So I stopped talking to them, deleted app etc. Now I have a surprise $700 bill for a subscription I never knew I had. Hate them and very unhappy. Trying to get a refund.
A bunch of delays. Over two months and nothing. I feel like this is a scam and you're pushing your own compound rather than working with the insurance company. The last message from the provider asking me to evaluate your criteria of your weight loss program vs the insurance company requirements is frustrating. I don't have the specific knowledge to have this conversation. I have Cigna and I assumed this would be common knowledge for your company. Not happy, I'm not going to recommended.
