I am writing about my adult son's experience. His 2004 Toyota Corolla was equipped with a Lifesafer ignition interlock system and not only was it installed incorrectly (i.e. created a 3 amp battery drain. But ,even more offensively, after the service manager acknowledged LF's fault. She lied to the State of Michigan saying that the client had "tampered" with the equipment. Needless to say his license reinstatement was denied. WE are now selling the car and have Auto Electrical experts ($300) tell us the equipment was installed wrong and caused the parasitic battery drain. This company was not technically competent and furthermore were not honest. I would advise potential customers to look elsewhere. These people had no integrity and lied to cover their own mistakes.
Claimed loss: $150 x12 =$1800$ 800 corrective action to enable the sale of the vehicledenial of license reinstatement priceless
Desired outcome: $2000 reimbursement from Lifesafers
