Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club [LHVC] review: Swindled by this dishonest company 1

My husband and I were swindled by this dishonest company based out of the Dominican Republic for 31, 000 USD. The salesman promised we'd make our money back I two to three months top. We were promised we'd receive a phone call the Wednesday following our arrival back into the states and a website would be set up for us and all we had to do was simply provide a bank routing and account number for the so called "tax free" money for renting our weeks, could be deposited into. When the call never came, we persistently tried reaching our salesman named Gary and couldnt get past customer service. When we told the CS Manager we wanted our money back because we didn't received what was promised, she proceeded to tell us they do not set up websites and we had 4 days to cancel. The problem is we wouldn't cancel in 4 days because in 4 days we were still in the Dominican and the so called promised call wouldn't come until day 10. They promise something that will come after the cancelation time so that your stuck. When I told her I would dispute the charge she calmly said the dispute will come to her and she will show them the signed contract with the 4 day cancellation charge. When we did dispute the charges with our credit cards, LHVC told them exactly that and this was a case of buyers remorse! We were down right lied to and didn't have a leg to stand on and now have personal loans to pay the credit cards the 31, 000! They also told us they'd buy our current timeshare contract, even though it wasn't paid off. As I sat there asking them a dozen times, if not more, were they sure I wasnt going to get stuck with 2 vacation plans, they swore we wouldn't. Well guess what?!
