Compliance and Product quality
We ordered one pendant assuming they are selling products in Australia so should be compliant with Aus standards but the electrician refused to connect it saying it is missing the transformer and has associated safety risks. We attempted to contact CS team and provided concerns but the CS representative keep asking for missing transformer photo or damaged product photos. We requested compliance certification or organise a return/ exchange for which we haven't heard anything yet.
Desired outcome: Prefer it to return as not sure if the other product will be compliant or not

Customer Service and Shipping
I paid an extra $21.50 for "expedited shipping" so that my order would be received within 3 - 5 days. I placed the order on 10/17 and need to receive it by 10/26 for a party, which is why I paid the extra to guarantee delivery in time. Today is 10/24, 5 Business Days from when I placed the order and it is still across the country with an expected delivery date of 10/30! Now my costume is ruined, I have to run around looking for an appropriate dress and I paid for expedited shipping for no reason! The worst part is, you cannot find a phone number anywhere to contact the company. What a horrible experience; never again...

Trying to get a return
I've been trying to return an item all day I said I forgot my password and they've given me a pass code about a dozen times ,every time I tap it in its says wrong password or email..It's. nearly 12.30 really fed up all I want is a returns label to send this item back.

I cancelled an order the very day I put in the order as I realised it was unlikely to be received in time for an event. I was assured it was cancelled. I then got notification that it was to be shipped, I contacted them to remind them that this had been cancelled, they said I was right. Yet it was delivered (too late as expected), I therefore contacted them and was first told it was a non returnable item. Eventually they said I could return it but would have to pay the postage. This. was some time ago, I now have notification that I can no longer delay payment for the item, via Klarna, and have to pay tomorrow, for an item I no longer have

It also does not give me updates when it states it can track the time through Royal Mail. Men clothing
I bought a shirt from LightInThebox.com.The shirt liked very good in their illustration. On arrival I found out the item was of low quality and not like the one advertised. It appeared that the supplier use photoshop to illustrate the product rather than taking a picture of the garment. I asked that I return the product and have full refund. They offered partial refund which I did not accept. The supplier wrote back saying they can not issue for a return label and posting could take as long as 20-30. To ensure that the product reach them I had to incur postage stamp with with tracking and registered delivery to have as proof of posting in case they deny receiving the item. At the end I had to accept their partial refund. Please see attached the photoshopped garment against the actual item received.

I wish I read the reviews before I purchased from Lightingthebox
Every item was oversized, of poor quality and lousy construction. In an attempt to get a return label, I was bounced from person to person in customer service. Most of the time no one even responded. Then I was told to ship the merchandise to China, at my expense, for a refund. The shipping charge was over double the cost of the clothing returned. They are the most unreputable and despicable organization in the industry.

I am not satisfied with my order and have tried to contact the customer service.
The customer service "ticket" option is a joke. I have written more than 10 messages regarding the return of bad quality & overpriced clothing but have received no reply after 5 days.
The returns policy is a disgrace - I am required to spend up to $40 to return to China and there is no guarantee that I will receive my refund.
A fellow unhappy customer has still not received his refund after 6 months!

I initially placed my order with LightInTheBox on July 25, 2023. To date, I have not received my order. On my order page I see two tracking numbers.
1) 92144903444912910000750899 - which says it was delivered on August 11, to an address in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.
2) 92124903402788000004143111 - which says it was delivered on August 14, to an address in Caldwell, New Jersey.
My address is in Illinois, at 13089 Timber Court, Palos Heights [protected]. I do not understand why the orders were delivered to New Jersey. Also, back on August 12, I notified them that the order was not received, and on August 15, I responded to their email and resubmitted my address. Today is September 25, and the order still has not been received.

I purchased a dress from this company in my size but when the dress arrived, it could not fit up my thighs. I immediately went on line to the company to inform them of this issue and wanted to return for a bigger size but was informed that the company does not accept returns on items as they say are MADE TO ORDER. I informed them I was not aware of that information but three website never said that you could not return the item. They keep telling me if my size was wrong that it was not their fault but it was because the size they have is not the correct size. I even had a sister of mine try on the dress and she is 2 sizes smaller than me and she couldn't fit it. The dress was extremely small and they would not give me a refund or resend another. This is not a good company because it is not forthright with their customers.

Order not available to start a return
I’ve bought a dress that doesn’t fit and that want to return. What happen is that I paid it via Apple Pay and the order doesn’t show up in the app and, for this reason, I’m unable to start a return. I have contacted their customer service and nobody is useful enough to help me. They only give 7 days to return and I only have 5 more days left. Time goes buy fast, specially when you need things to move on.

I'm following all the steps (online and via the app) and I can't contact Customer Support to return items. The last step 'Submit Ticket' simply won't work! No ticket is being submitted.

The return process is extremely difficult . no return label is provided. the emails give customers the run around asking for photos of the items to be return - which were sent, only to be told that they will not pay to return (when the email distinctly said they would if the photos and barcodes of the items were provided). To the return the items it is not possible to use any of the regular carriers. Truly terrible service. never use this company. do not purchase from this company.

Stained glass birds
I bought 2 of these. They are nothing like the pictures on the site. They are plastic and paper. I did not receive any information on returning the items if unsatisfactory, and when I went onto the website, it stated that returns must be made within 7 days. I still cannot find out how to return these items and receive a refund. This is the most appalling company I have ever dealt with, and they should be prosecuted for false advertising, as the items bear no resemblance to the photos.

I purchased 3 dresses. I have tried to return 2 of them, both did not correspond to the product measurements. I wanted to exchange one and return the other. I have tried numerous times to click the "confirm" return / exchange button but nothing happens but strangely enough if I click on the "cancel" button it works immediately.
I ordered one dress for a wedding - I was happy with the quality. The company state that one can get the item altered instead of going through the lengthy process of returning, but there is no seam allowance and it is not the type of dress that could be worn other than to a wedding. I am very disappointed with their customer service and the fact that I can't return the items and that if I could it would cost me €21 to send to China when I thought I was buying from Light in the box .ie

A dress I ordered far too tight
This company is a scam the material is cheap and poor quality. The sizes are all inncorrect. I'd say never ever order from here. The seems of the dress are poorly cut and sewn! As you can see in my pictures the waist is far too tight and small. Either they're trying to save material and give their customers a hard time. Absolute scammers! The sequins fall off. And worst of all its so tight! I'm appalled! Disappointed by their rubbish quality! I will never ever order from here ever again! Because of their non return policy I can't get a refund! And worst of all I can't wear this dress to my graduation. They suggest exchange but who wants to exchange something when they charge to ship it out to you. Again leaving me more out of pocket.
