This company makes money booking limos for other limo companies. Their service charges are extremely high.
You are better off making a reservation with a local limo buisness near you. Most limo companies are fair with the rates and will at most times waive service charges to make it affordable.
Why waste your money on a company that does not own a single limousne!

I agree. As a vendor limos.com has taken off without regard to us small businesses. There is a new $9.99 phone lead charge to my business and the only way to opt out is to quit my affiliation with them. I am doing that immediately. Very unfair business practice.

from telimarketers talking to my answering machine, why am I paying for these? I am now going to look back at all of these fraudulant charges and will persue reembursement . not only does
limos.com charge for e-mail leads but if the customer does call our company thru the number you provide we get charge
an additional fee for phone lead that can amount to more than $ 13.00 just for simply answering a question from a customer before any reservation is even made. Not only has the cost of doing business with limos.com gone way beyond excessive, we have only received maybe 2 reservations in the past 3-4 weeks thru limos.com these limo runs have not even come close to paying for what my limos.com expense for that period. My phone traffic is almost none from
limos.com leads as compared to the way it used to be, not sure what is going on with your new system but it looks like I am going to discontinue use with limos.com and look at other better ways of spending my advertising money.
Its unfortunate since I have spent many thousands of dollars on limos.com and have been a member since 2008. Your old system was a much better system and you will soon realize that you are pushing limousine
operators to pursue other options.
Limos.com has become TOO BIG! They are on every page where a limousine search takes place. Then, they added their generic phone number to my business so that nobody can call me direct anymore. No, the calls go to limos.com first $$$ they get $9.99 and I get the call. Like you said tidelimo their new way of doing business is criminal (or did I say that?). But it's true, $2.99 for email lead and $9.99 for phone lead from same client -= double billing. Because limos.com is SO BIG I feel they are somehow protected by Google and Yahoo etc. cause they generate SO MUCH revenue for them. Who do we turn to? The BBB only has seven complaints this year. Will the attorney general get involved on our behalf--at least for the bouble billing practice? Or is the only answer to quit doing business with them. I, like you, am OUT. And I have also spent thousands of dollars with them.
I just found this complaint board. TG I knew I wasn't the only one. I have had all the same issues with limos.com Over billing, double billing less calls and bookings but lead costs have gone way up. I have spent many hours on the phone and many emails with my limos.com reps. Every time I bring up a billing errors to limos.com, everyone I talk to acts as if it the first time they have ever heard of this type of billing error and will bring it up in the next meeting. After their so call meeting I get the same answer, the system is working properly and you were not billed or doubled billed incorrectly. Really? I say. Even if I show them the proof, they stick to that answer. In my last email I said how can that be, why are we the only getting doubled billed? I'm not that stupid if it happening to me it must be happening to others. So happy I found this site. And besides the double billings they are doing now, limos.com has been doing some type of over billings for years. I would only ask for credits when it got out of hand. Back then each leads was only .99 cents so not worth my time to chase $5.00 but now with the double billing and each lead costing at least $13.00 I'm calling every day. My company has been with limos.com since 1998 and has spent 10's of thousands with this company. I like the ideal of going to 1 or all 50 attorney generals ( I think they do business in all 50 states) we only need one to take the case then the others will jump on board. It's just plain theft. In conjunction with or separate, if anyone knows a good lawyer, I think a class action law suit would be fitting. With the millions in lawyer fees and the millions they'd have to pay back to all current and past limo companies, I'd think it would put them out of business.
To all above. I totally agree with you on this issue, I to have been with Limos.com since 2005. The rate per lead was .99 cents, I had more business then, then what I do now. I call my Account Manager and he never seems to call me back. What really sucks is if you have an issue on the weekend there is no one there to help you. You have to wait until Monday and then hope they will call you back. If not you have to call them back and hope they will answer there phone. I sometimes get billed twice in the same day, No way do I get that many leads in one day! My fees are 3 times what the used to be and my business is less than half what it used to be. There new way of doing business as we all can see is for them to make a fortune and for all limo companies to make less. If you all have the original emails they sent out when changing to this new system, with those in hand, I think we do have a case against them for false advertising, they said it would make us more money and it has not! I am game to file an official complaint with the AG of my state. Lets see how they like getting screwed!
I am a former advertiser on limos.com and have had nothing but problems with them. They charge for bad leads and to get the leads credited is impossible. I too have been billed $9.99 for a phone lead when it was THEIR operator calling ME!
If you happen to call Limos.com operators support, a professional answering company will answer the calls. They will always ask you to leave a message. If you ask why you cannot reach Limos.com directly, they'll say that they're either handling other calls or just not available.
I've used their service prior to the current ownership...NO problem under the old ownership. If anybody knows about Class Action suits...I would be happy to join in. Looking forward to a response. Thank you. Jerry@yourcar-ormine.com
I have just left them a message and plan on seeking an Attorney to file a lawsuit against limo.com for all the reasons above and Ilegally recording conversations with me and my clients, their so called phone leads. When my Operations Manager decided to partner up with Limos.com I looked into it myself and was shocked to see that before my firm ever did a run they gave us a rating of FOUR STARS and took some testimonials from our web-site and added them to their site, not very honest... After I saw this I started looking into "would be" competitors web-sites and reviews from wedding planners online and found that they weren't as described on their Limos.com Bio and had numerous complaints against them by past customers.
yes they have done it to me also . its unbelieveable was is going with this company and nobody does anything about it...the sad part of all of this is that the NLA is indorcing this company...!
Here's the latest part of their scam. I have been with Limos.com for only a few weeks. I came on as a monthly billing service provider and listed four vehicles. Without any notification three of my vehicles have been disqualified for airport runs because they are not black. They expect me to stay on with them and try to make money on the bogus leads that come to everyone everyday, which may or may not be real leads. out of the 150+ leads that i've received I was able to book one. I have terminated my service with them and would be happy to join in on any class action law suit. If they want to come after me for payment, all I can say is go for it. As far as I'm concerned they breached the contract by eliminating my vehicles and changing policy in mid stream with any notice to my company, why should I continue to pay them for zero business.
Limo.com is the WORST! place ever to book a limo. They are straight up liars and are not truthful about up front fees. I found out that they call limo companies to book you and they lie to you about the cost just to put money into their own pockets. I suggest that no one ever ever ever use this service. Call the limo service direct. Stay away from this company as they will rob you blind.
Here is the truth about Limos.com. They used to be a great company until they got greedy. Anyone saying that they can't close their leads doesn't know how to sell. Here is the complaint: they used to be $1 leads and we would pay them about $3000 a month and book a lot of rides. Last year they switched it to $3 leads and they then posted an alternate number for the prospect to see, and if they called the number it routed to us and cost $10. Guess what, last year there were no prom leads, in other words if someone puts their info in, the limo company doesn't get it, they are just routed to a page with the $10 number. I asked why this is happening they said it's due to complaints that 30 kids were filling out for the same ride and that would be $3 per lead. Which I responded...well now we have 30 kids calling in at $10 a piece. Well this year there are absolutely no PROM LEADS...what do I mean by that..the number has now disappeared and the only thing that shows up is for them to book through limos.com which means we now have to pay them 20% for each prom ride...and our sales team makes nothing on the ride...when MJ demarco sold the company the first time it almost went into bankruptcy as they weren't listening to the limo companies...guess they are going for a second time..
Limos.com know nothing about black car and how they work and all what they care about is to suck your blood and your money, they are greedy and never satisfied, and my advise don't make any reservations with them because they rob you blind and they rob there affiliates the same way.and there leads are all fake so is there reservation which is mostly is going to get cancelled . They left us high and dry without a ride... but did not hesditate to take payment for it well in advance..and way more than they should have as well.

What limos.com did in my situation is just outrageous; they put through several unauthorized charges to my debit/credit card knowing full well over six months in advance that all of my reservations with them were already paid in full. Not only did all of the ride providers call limos.com and inform them that they were paid in full, but I have had numerous phone calls and emails with them as well. I also have an email from one of their representatives dated November 11, 2012 assuring me that they knew these rides were all paid in full, and they would not put through any charges to my account.
limos.com was also aware that I have planned and saved for over a year for this cruise of a lifetime, and that if they double charged me many problems would arise while I was on vacation; yet they decided to do nothing to prevent these unauthorized double charges from occurring, and they acted with utter disregard to my situation. I had to spend at least 25% of my vacation trying to correct all of the problems limos.com's charges were causing. I was on a cruise ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean so that was not easy to do. Therefore considering the months of emails, phone calls, services charges, and not to mention stress put on me I will be taking them to court.

Shiela from limos.com is the worst agent I have evern met. Limos.com overcharged us first and when I called for the overcharge, this Shela agent not only refused my request, but never let me finished my sentense. Throughout the 50 mins call, it was always she was talking while I was talking, and I had to ask numerous times if she can let me finish my sentense first.
She even mislead me saying I was awared the rate has been changed from flat rate to hourly rate, because she knew every conversation is recorded. I was smart enough to find out she was misleading me into a yes, so I told her I was nevere told so. When she continued to say yes, I asked her show me where in paper or in notes I was told so, she cannot because she was covering herself. I am glad I find out her trick so she cannot use this as an excuse to refuse my request for refund of overcharge.
She was very impolite, very demanding. I cannot believe how limos.com could hire such kind of person as agent, or any company would hire her as an agent. She can only make things worse and make customer angry and furious than anything else.
Try to avoid Shelia if you can, it is truly from experience.
Do NOT book with this company, I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Booked a limo on a wednesday and called on day before my ride to confirm my reservation only to be told that they had a problem with it. If I hadn't called, I KNOW that they would have left me stranded. They are a bogus, piece of crap company. DO NOT BOOK with these people.
How much more painful ca it be to book a car? It is a terrible thing to say, but it seems like limos.com employ only the dumbest, the stupidest, almost mentally challenged phone operators. I usually book with Carey Limo, who are perfect, but sometimes I need to transport my pet, and Carey does not allow pets. I turn to limos.com, and, yes, along with ridiculously high rates, I get the most unbearable 30 minutes on the phone.
I normally use a private company but limos.com kept popping up so I figured I'd give them a try. My son was fling into Mia from Boston. I was quoted $148 which included tip, they charged my card $180. There reason was $12 airport parking fees & tolls plus taxes. When I stated that they quoted me an all inclusive price they became very rude & I think part of that was the fact that they didn't understand the meaning of the word. Mind you my son came home in a Chrysler 300! Not even a limo, for almost $200, RUN & take your business elsewhere! Don't say you haven't been warned.
this company obtains limo rentals from other local companies. they are very misleading and dishonest. false information is given out to the customer. they are rude and hard to work with. and when a contract is changed, there are big charges, NO exceptions. i will never use this deceptive company again, call the limo companies directly, do NOT do it online, and especially never use LIMOS.COM
I have been a vendor for years. And their arrogance attuide toward the vendors is absolutely unacceptable. First they are trying.to push my company to pay them 700 a month for what they call marketing fees, plus they take 18% commission from every call plus they deduct close to 3% credit card fee from every reservation. (.I guess the credit charges are different from limos.Com and.the rest of the world) when i refused the fees they held 460.00 of owed trips to me and tried put a 700 ach without my authorization. When I called them out.on.it they refused to return my calls. Or respond to my emails. They have no respect for the vendors they forget limos.Com is not licensed in.any city to take in reservations nor do they own one vehicle.
Limos.com company is an online base Limousine company who owe my company around $5000 for Limousine service we have provided to their customers. They have collected the funds from the customers, but they'd kept all of the funds, and refused to pay us as the service provider.
limos.com has changed in the past year. They stopped paying their limo companies after we complete the jobs . yet they collect from the client before hand . I am planning to take them to court ..
