Lipstick Alley Lipstick Alley Review: A Hot Mess of Trolls, Bullies, and Racists

Yo, can I just say that Lipstick Alley is a straight-up hot mess?! I mean, sure, there's some juicy tea that gets spilled on there, but damn if it ain't full of trolls and bullies and racists. Like, for real, some of the stuff I've seen on there towards non-black folks is straight-up disgusting.

But here's the thing that really grinds my gears. I don't even go on there like that, but I had this one chick, @queen_of_clubs, start stalking my posts and spreading all kinds of lies about me. According to this idiot and her little cronies, I'm some kind of anti-black racist. Which, duh, I'm not. But they cherry-picked a bunch of my posts and twisted everything I said to make me seem like some kind of monster.

And just when I thought I was done with that whole mess, @queen_of_clubs starts up again. This time she's saying I used the N-word on a post about Prince's party playlist. Which is complete BS, by the way. I was telling a story about some dude in high school who said the N-word about Prince, not me. But yeah, @queen_of_clubs decided to take that one little thing out of context and use it to try and ruin my life.

Honestly, that whole site is full of crazy people. And I feel like being a white woman on there is just asking for trouble. I've seen some seriously negative posts about WW on there, and it's like nobody bats an eye. But if you say anything remotely negative about black people, you're labeled a racist. It's messed up.

So yeah, long story short, Lipstick Alley ain't worth the headache. It's just a bunch of trolls and racists and bullies all trying to tear each other down. And don't even get me started on the mods -- they're just as bad as the users.

Lipstick Alley Lipstick Alley Review: Drama & Deceit with Paid Trolls & Multiple Accounts

Yo, so I've been lurkin' around on Lipstick Alley (lipstickalley.com) for a hot minute, mostly for the politics and current events. And I gotta say, these homies are quicker with the news than CNN or Fox News, sometimes breakin' that [censored] early with way more deets.

But other than that, I don't really bother signin' in and joinin' the club. Some of the so-called "members" (if you can even call 'em that) are straight-up not worth the hassle.

From what I've heard, Lipstick Alley has like 40 employees. Most of 'em are probably paid immigrants or Russian trolls (haha go figure). If you take a look at their "rules," you'll see that this place ain't even black-owned. Mighta been a while ago, but not no more, homie. They just tryin' to look like they got a lot of African American members.

And here's the real tea: a lot of times, you're not even talkin' to multiple members, you're just gettin' sucked into a debate with one paid member/moderator or administrator under multiple accounts. Waste of time, trust me.

But hey, the more you click and argue, the more dough Lipstick Alley makes. And them trolls? They don't even deserve your attention. Don't give 'em what they want.

And why is it that some members can get away with damn near anything while others get the boot? Probably 'cause they're one of the 40+ employees using multiple accounts to keep the drama goin'. It's all about the money, my friends.

Used to be a time when Lipstick Alley had spots for community support and sub-forums for general topics. Some really nice peeps of all backgrounds who supported the black community and just women in general. But the owner (who've I heard is a white/gay dude and owner of Data Lounge) didn't like that [censored] and let his minions/employees/trolls attack anyone who was positive, supportive, respectful, compassionate, or nurturing. And they used the whole "you're not really black" excuse. What a trip.

Bottom line is, we could all use a little love and kindness these days, no matter where we come from. It's no secret that Lipstick Alley ain't even black owned (was it ever?), and they're tryin' to clean up shop and sell out to anyone with enough cash. Watch out, y'all.

Lipstick Alley Lipstick Alley: My Nightmare Experience with Cyberbullying and Negligent Administration

Man, let me tell you about my experience with Lipstick Alley. It was a freakin' nightmare. The whole thing started when this chick named Elykia decided she didn't like me for no reason. She was harsh as hell, man. Like, she tore into me with all sorts of verbal abuse and laughed at me when I told her she was cyber bullying me. I was so freaking depressed and felt so damn low because of what she was doing. It was like every time I got online, she was there just waiting to harass and insult me.

And get this, her excuse for it all was that she's some sort of expert on how black people act and think and that I wasn't living up to it. Like, what the hell, man? As if that wasn't bad enough, she acted like asking about racism was some sort of cardinal sin. According to her, if you asked about anything related to race, you were a white troll. Like, come on now.

It was like this chick was just looking for excuses to insult and harass me. She'd stalk me in all my threads and keep throwing shade my way. But whenever I called her out on it, she acted like I was being the passive-aggressive one. Lady, you're the one hurling insults at me for no reason.

And here's the real kicker: the administration didn't do JACK about it. Like, seriously? I'm over here getting bullied and all they do is sit on their hands and twiddle their thumbs. It was just ridiculous.

The worst part of it all is thinking about someone else going through what I went through. I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually did commit suicide because of that god-awful website. It's just plain terrible, man. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Lipstick Alley Review: Lipstick Alley - A Hot Mess for African American Women

So, I stumbled upon this site called Lipstick Alley and let me just say, it's a hot mess. Don't get me wrong, I've been a loyal member since 2006 but things have gone downhill. It's time for me to spill the tea.

Let's start with the rules section. They claim to be a site for African American females but that's a lie! For the last 5-6 years, the majority of active posters are from the Caribbean Islands, Africa, or are 1st/2nd generation Africans living in the USA and Black Africans/Caribbeans living in Europe. It's time for them to change their whole vibe and start promoting themselves as a site for the African Diaspora.

Now, let's talk about the Black America Forum. It's supposed to be a forum for African Americans but it's being overrun by immigrants who try to speak for us. Pan African-African Americans also post there and let me tell you, they don't defend us when African or Caribbean posters come for us. It's just a mess. And don't get me started on the bi-cultural posters who pretend to be African American when they're not. They don't understand our experiences and that's just not okay.

But what really grinds my gears is how African American posters are treated compared to Black immigrant posters. It's like we're not given the same respect. Mods love to put us on timeouts but let African posters do whatever they want, including saying negative things about us. It's just not right. And what's worse is that some of the worst offenders, like "Tadaaaa", "summernights", and "kenstar41", are still allowed to post even though they've said some really disgusting things about African Americans/ADOS.

Honestly, LSA has turned into a sewer like Bossip, Madame Noire, the Shade Room, and Mediatakeout. The owner is just trying to make money by advertising it as an African American site even though it's not. It's time for LSA to get their act together and start respecting all members, not just the immigrants.

Lipstick Alley LSA Forum Review: Disturbing and Delusional Behavior by Unhinged Keyboard Warriors

Honestly, I stumbled upon this review site because someone mentioned it on the forums. And let me tell you - I've never seen anything so disturbing. There are some seriously unhinged people on that forum who go around accusing innocent members of things they're not even doing. And to make it all worse, the actual weirdos are blaming others for their own psycho behavior! Can you believe it?!

These keyboard warriors bicker about the most trivial things, accuse black women of being white, and even label them as mentally ill just because they don't agree with them. It's insane! And to add to that, they're so obsessed with certain celebs that they call their kids their own step-children and take it upon themselves to harass innocent influencers. It's hard to take anything they say seriously.

But the worst part of it all? They go around attacking normal members and telling them that some superstar they've never met will never let them dry their feet. What is wrong with these people?! It's like they need to be locked up or something!

And let's not forget their colorism issues. Some of these members hide behind photos of mixed celebrities and biracial women just to pretend they're not racist. They're reckless and illiterate, constantly harassing other members in threads just for the heck of it. Even if someone mentions they want to harm themselves, these psychos will shame them and attack them without even knowing their personal struggles. It's sickening.

I honestly believe that these LSA members need to be put in a mental institution or something. It's just not normal to be so obsessed and unhinged about someone they don't even know. They need serious help. And let's hope that more people in that famous guy's circle see what's being said about them on that forum so they can shut it down for good. These crazies talked smack about his mom, sister, friends... it's just too much.

Some of these delusional members even think they know this guy and his family or friends. They call themselves his wife or woman and act like his kid is their very own accessory. It's like they're trying to be part of some Drake Harem or something. But honestly, they're worse. Much, much worse.

Lipstick Alley Lipstick Alley Review: A Toxic Community of Gossip, Bullying, and Hate Speech

Alright, so let me tell you about Lipstick Alley AKA LSA. This is a place where people like to go and gossip all day long about other people's lives, even though they don't know anything about these people. Heck, sometimes they even tell massive lies just to make themselves feel better. It's kind of a hot mess to be honest with you.

One thing you might notice if you check out LSA is that there are a ton of people there from Caribbean Islands, Nigeria, and Great Britain. There used to be more black American women, but many of them have left because of all the hate speech and bullying that goes on there. It's really sad, y'all.

Now, some of the Nigerian folks on there like to say that the black American women are all jealous of them. But honestly, most of the black American women aren't even thinking about them. They don't have time for that nonsense.

What's really messed up is when people on there start making fun of other people's appearances. Like, seriously, what kind of person does that? And don't even get me started on all the colorism talk. It's like people on LSA just love to hate on anybody who isn't exactly like them.

But you know what's really crazy? Some people on there actually think that white men are better than black men. Like, for real? That's some messed up thinking right there. And don't even get me started on the whole out of wedlock rate thing. That's just straight up racist.

Now, there are some nice people on LSA, don't get me wrong. But a lot of them seem to have some serious issues they need to work out. Like, have you ever noticed how some of these folks seem to be on there 24/7? That can't be healthy, y'all.

Anyway, that's my take on LSA. It's a mixed bag for sure. If you're into gossip and drama, it might be your thing. But if you're looking for a positive, uplifting community, you might want to look elsewhere.

Lipstick Alley Review: Lipstick Alley - Not What It Used to Be

So, I talked to a mod on Lipstick Alley about a problem I was having on the website and boy did I learn some things. Apparently, one of the mods was pretending to be black when she's actually Hispanic. It got me thinking, because LSA was originally meant to be a place for African-American women but now it seems like it's for everyone but they still try to pretend they're black even if they're not.

I've noticed that there's only a small percentage of African-Americans on the site now. The rest seemed to be black people from all over the world and people trying to be black. White, Hispanic, Latino, Latina, Mexicans, Chinese, Malaysian people are mainly just pretending to be black which seems a little weird. They'll even go as far as lying and claiming they're mixed, but why? I guess they want to fit in with all the black people who still use the website.

The people who run the website don't seem to care about any of this though. They're all about the money, which isn't surprising considering they own multiple black community websites. LSA is just a way for them to get more money by showing ads everywhere. And they'll let anyone post anything as long as it's making them a quick buck.

The website is just a mess. If you disagree with anyone, they'll jump down your throat and start harassing you over nothing. The block system is pretty useless too because someone can still see your post history even if you block them. Some people are into this and like to fight, which I think is pretty weird but hey, whatever floats your boat.

The mods have their favorites too, which kind of sucks because good luck getting into an argument with any of those favorites and not getting banned instantly. Also, they can see your private messages so beware of what you say on there. People have been known to be turning on each other left and right.

Personally, I'm mixed with black and white and I didn't feel welcome on LSA at all. They didn't even bother to ask, they just attacked right away because they could see my lighter skin. And they really don't like mixed race people in general, which is a bummer.

I've also noticed that there's a lot of non-black people using the website even though it was originally meant for African-American women. I think maybe they changed the rules or something. And these non-black people often go out of their way to degrade and make fun of black people, which is just plain racist.

But it's not just non-black people who are trolling on the website. There are plenty of black people who love to do it too. They'll harass, stalk, and even threaten to dox you just because they can. It's probably the reason why the African-American population on LSA is so small now - who wants to deal with all of that?

Overall, Lipstick Alley is definitely not for everyone. If you like being harassed and cyberbullied, it might be the website for you. But if not, it's best to stay away. It's not even a website just for African-American women anymore, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll be disappointed.

Lipstick Alley Lipstick Alley Review: From Gossip Heaven to Hot Mess

Yo, so let me tell you about Lipstick Alley or LSA as the cool kids like to call it these days. I used to be all about that site, like it was my go-to for juicy celeb gossip and hilarious threads. But around 2018, it started to go downhill and now it's just a hot mess.

Like there are these newbies, like SJW Twitter and Tumblr chicks, and folks from the Caribbean and Africa (and not even the ones born there y'all) who have just taken over the site. They are so politically correct and sensitive, always complaining about so called white supremacy and how hard it is to be dark skinned. Like, come on, most black women are not sitting around crying about that mess. It's just too much and I can't even get past the first page of most threads because of all the negativity.

And don't even get me started on these jealous folks who wanna be like American or "ADOS" women but then talk down on them. Like, how does that even work, sis? You're on a site that was created for black American women, using our slang and dressing like us, but you wanna act like we're beneath you? Get outta here.

The comments and threads on LSA used to be hilarious, like I'd spend hours on there just laughing my butt off. But now it's just not funny anymore and people are saying things just to get likes. It's lost its shine, y'all.

I think a lot of the original women who used LSA have moved on to other sites, like the ones that don't have all this bitterness and groupthink. And honestly, some of the stuff that is said on LSA is so racist, like these folks are spewing hate about non-black people all day, but then wanna get upset when somebody does the same to us? Come on now, that's just being hypocritical.

And yeah, there are some spelling and grammar errors in this review, but like who cares, right? That's just how we talk sometimes. Anyway, LSA is not my thing anymore and I've officially locked my account. It's just not the same as it used to be. Peace out, y'all.

Lipstick Alley Lipstick Alley Review: Drama and Division on a Gossip Forum

So, have you heard about Lipstick Alley? It's a website where people can post about almost anything - beauty, politics, relationships, and just general gossip. But let me tell you, there's a whole lot of drama on this site.

First off, there's a lot of hate towards Nigerian women. Some of the African American women on the site are really quick to tear down their Nigerian counterparts. For example, they make fun of their makeup and wigs but deep down, I think they're just jealous because Nigerian women really know how to do their makeup. But the hate doesn't stop there - these same women think that non African Americans need to show them respect because their "people fought for them" to be in the United States. It's really sad to see how divided we still are.

But, the drama doesn't end with the ethnic group tension. There are some real bullies on the site who go around causing trouble for other users and moderators who play favorites. They're like a pack of wolves, and they're always looking for someone to gang up on. It's honestly a bit scary.

And I don't know what's going on with some of these shut-ins on the site. They write about how they have no friends or boyfriends. It's really sad because some of them have good jobs and even make decent money, but they just can't seem to get their personal lives together.

Now, there are some accounts and threads that you just can't trust on Lipstick Alley. They can be deleted at any moment without warning and some moderators play favorites, banning people for no reason. It's really not a safe place to share personal info.

All in all, there's a lot of drama and negativity on Lipstick Alley, but if you're looking for some juicy gossip, you might find it there. But just be careful who you trust, there are some real trouble-makers on that site.

^^ This is "rich" since most of the trolling is coming from accounts that joined in 2017 and strictly from Nigeria. There is this one [censored] who says she is in Lagos but I imagine she is squatting in London like a rat called Judging you. There are others as well but I don't have the time to list them all.

Lipstick Alley My Dramatic Experience on Lipstick Alley: A Story of Bullying and Hypocrisy

So, I stumbled upon the website Lipstick Alley (lipstickalley.com) and boy was it a rollercoaster ride! I mean, don't get me wrong, I did find some cool threads and stuff, but the drama was just too much.

Let me start off with the fact that some person named Elykia accused me of being white when I'm black. Like, really? Then they went ahead and verbally abused me for months on end. I mean, I can handle a little bit of criticism, but this was just ridiculous. They would attack me in posts and comments, and even made false accusations about me just to defame me! It was insane.

But it didn't stop there. Even after I left the website, this Elykia person was still stalking my post history and harassing other users with it. They even used my posts to bully another person!

And get this, the reason for all this drama? Because I made a thread titled "have you ever been randomly attacked by a random font?" And apparently, this person thought it was about them even though I never mentioned their name. Talk about making it all about themselves!

But the hypocrisy was the real kicker. They called me passive aggressive for not confronting them directly, but they were the ones indirectly insulting me and talking behind my back. And even when I did confront them, they just played the victim and refused to take responsibility for their own actions.

And it wasn't just me. Elykia would bully other people as well, and even hounded them in threads that had nothing to do with them! They would manipulate situations and twist things to make themselves look good and the other person look bad. It was like they thrived on drama and negativity.

Despite all this hate and drama, I still believe that something needed to be said about it. And I stand by the fact that Elykia was the one in the wrong. They were the bully, the victim, and the baby all rolled into one.

So yeah, while I did find some interesting stuff on Lipstick Alley, the drama was just too much for me to handle. And I definitely won't be going back anytime soon.
