I am writing to you to file a formal complaint regarding my back patio threshold. I cannot properly secure my patio doors and the floor foundation has split. Initial, I contacted Ms. *** two years ago, she had a drainage guard place on top of the roof, it has not stop the rain from damage the threshold. I, Contacted Ms. *** on 27 July , and contacted *** on 28 October and 4 November . *** respond back by email that she would contact ***. I have call Ms. *** and left message no response. On 24th February spoke with *** and send her a picture and she stated that she would forward picture to***.

Little and Young have billed me $500.00 for a tree removal
Little and Young have billed me $500.00 for a tree removal. According the THEM, this tree wasn't on my property in the first place. I believe Little and Young have begun to harass me because I spook out their questionable service record and their violation policies. Little and Young cut down a Crepe Myrtle right next to my property line. I was very upset and at the time I was under the impression that this tree was part of my property. I went to the HOA meeting to address it but they showed me the property lines via Facebook and I conceded that the tree in question was not on my property and conceded any legal basis for a complaint. NOW, after all this I received a $500.00 tree removal charge for a tree (according to them) that was located in a common area. There is a laundry list of complaints from the neighbors in the association about this companies policies and practices. If you Google them, they have a 1 star rating. I have never dealt with such an unethical business.

I have lived in Lexington Plantation in Cameron NC. for 11 years. I have paid two cable companies My house first built was never wired as a smart house which other houses in the Gate of Lexington Plantation have. My HOA Little & Young charged me for the wiring $71 a month and I am paying 2 cable companies, Direct TV and Hotwire in-which was set up by Little and Young. I bought cable from Direct TV because my house was not wired correctly and this has been known by my HOA since my house was built. I was told by Little & Young under no circumstance I must pay for Hotwire which was set up by the HOA about 6 years ago due to our neighborhood being service by Hotwire in which 2 other cable companies have failed. I have too pay $101 just too live in this community a month and we are not gated. I would like for my HOA to be investigated for taking money from me during the last 11 years. I talked to Sr. Mr. who I have talked too several times in the first 8 years and understood my situation. $71 for the wiring that I do not have and $30 for HOA and the 2 cable companies Hotwire, Direct TV knowing my situation I am being told if I do not pay they will take my house by putting a lien on it!

Being informed by their HOA Little and Young that I wont get gate code/access to enter my property until a sattelite dish has been removed. Being informed by their HOA Little and Young (L&Y) that I will no longer be given my gate code/access to enter my property until a sattelite dish has been taken down seems improper to do. How can a board deny you access to your property? What happened to basic property rights? It's inhumane to prevent me from getting to and from my townhome and ability to park my car. I live in the Vineyards of John Smith townhomes. L&Y actions are capricious. I completing options to fight an unjust complaint. Even though the Board elected by the residents of a HOA has wide powers and an even wider discretion to act on behalf of the residents, I am not without the right to still fight unjust or improper actions taken by the Board. When HOAs are mismanaged, life behind the gates isn't as great as it may look from the outside especially when you cannot get into your home. My association is engaging in conduct of which is to harass in connection to coerce payment of the fees or remove a satatllit dish. I have repeatedly requested an exception to the rule they have promulgated and are trying to enforce against me since the sattelite dish was in existence when I purchased the property in 2009. I have never had any type of cable service since I have lived at the home. I haven't taken it personally. I know the rules were created to keep the community safe and comfortable for residents. I agreed to abide by the rules when I bought my home. I've had friendly communication to address minor infractions or warnings about the grass being too high or removal of the trash can. At times it wasw extenuating circumstances that caused me to fall behind on lawn care and I communicate that to the HOA. Once I received a violation notice, I take steps to understand and correct the violation. The Board acted improperly. A Board must still act in good faith. I have previously written letters to L&Y stating why I believe the violation letter is improper. I've ask for written communication and documentation to help create clarity for everyone, however the HOA states they do not have this info in their system. I requested for them to provide me with the letter that they sent to the previous owner requesting them to remove the dish, they could not. I advise that it is highly likely that dish was approved but since L&Y dont have any records, how could they say it was not. I never get a proper answer, only what the board and HOA has decided. I constantly ask how did L&Y not have records from when the mananged the homes in 2009. The previous owners would have been responsible for taken down an dish that was out of place unless they did get permission and L&Y are making new rules for me to take it down. They stopped managing for about 2 years and then came back only to say that they dont have any records from previously handling this community. I'm trying to exhaust all available internal remedies of the HOA. I'm not sure why my townhome is not protected under the FCC's Over-the-Air Reception Devices Rule.
