Ordering the coins was an easy process, but receiving them in the mail was terrible
Ordering the coins was an easy process, but receiving them in the mail was terrible. They were sent November 29th and was tracked through the drop off to the post office on December 3rd. From December 3rd through December 17 the package was in limbo. I paid 6.95 for shipping and handling and it shouldn't take 19 days to receive it. This is the third time it has taken a long time to receive my purchase.

Perfect for proofset. Like the convenience of this item Thanks for offering
My order arrived in a timely fashion but had an error - my order stated that I had received X97L-5 PVC Free SS Curr Pg Lg Sz for $4.95 but they were not included. The item was supposed to be Large Size pages to hold currency. I understood that the small Size currency holders were on back order and would be shipped separately, and they have not arrived yet.
I appreciate your offers, which make coins available at all price ranges.
I order a number of albums and as I was going through the items one of the albums was short four plastic slide covers. I sent an email to customer service and within an hour I received an answer that they were sorry for the missing items and that they were sending me the missing covers. I receive the covers is abut five days. Good customer service.
Thanks for being thorough on checking to make sure my order was received
Thanks for being thorough on checking to make sure my order was received.. It was delivered 10/01. I was emailed by ups that it was delivered 9/29 ,but they switched it off to my regular mail service. The quality from Littleton is always great. I will try to send a list of what coins I have so as not to duplicate what I already have. Looking forward to filling some missing coins in my inventory. Thank you.

Happy to get these quarters featuring women's accomplishments - plus the coin map for storing them! I look forward to collecting future quarters for it.
I found what I was looking for at a reasonable price
I got what I ordered quickly and have always received quick service from Littleton.
Shipment was on time. Ordering was easy and straightforward. Worth every penny!
Littleton Coin Company has a good variety of coins and I have purchased many f them over time
Littleton Coin Company has a good variety of coins and I have purchased many f them over time. The only improvment I would suggest is that they improve their processing and shipment process in that it is a little slow. I order from other coins shops as well and somethimes receive their orders (ordered on same day) 3-5 days quicker. Other than that small issue, I do recommend LittletonCoin Company when seeking coins.

Just starting my collection. Alot to look at and understand. Enjoy the company and product.
I love shopping with littleton. Great people with customer service.
All items that I have purchased have exceeded my expectations. I'm just now starting my very specialized collection.
I love Littleton Coin Company. They helped me complete many different collections. Great customer service. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to start a coin collection.
I received what I ordered quickly so I am pleased with that
I received what I ordered quickly so I am pleased with that. I am however displeased with the individual packaging my coins were in. They were labeled fine but appeared to have been stepped on repeatedly and were dirty and torn. That is not a good scenario for a collectable coin. Part of the reason I chose Littleton is because they send everything graded. If the packaging is torn, the grading will not matter. Very disappointed.

Twice I received coin sets from the Littleton Coin Collection
Twice I received coin sets from the Littleton Coin Collection. I returned these last two sets with instructions: "don't send me any more selections or items." Guess what, I just received another set! This time I am not going to the post office and pay the postage to send the set back to them. If they want their unopened package back, they will have to send me a prepaid envelope. Three strikes and you are out. It should have never come to this. Bad, bad customer relations.

I have not received my order
I have not received my order. This way of shipping, Mail Innovations (MI), is terrible. Seventeen days have passed since I placed the order and fifteen have passed since I was notified of shipping. Tracking number does not help after UPS hands shipment off to USPS. This is not the first time and it is a prime consideration when I look to order from Littleton. I know it will take weeks to get my coins. Littleton should take note of my number of orders these days compared to last year.

I ordered a couple coin albums, which the quality is great, but I was disappointed that the 19th Century American Type Coin Album coin holes for the draped bust coin type were slightly too small to fit the coins except the dollar denomination, and I can't comment on the half dime as I don't own one. Though this could be attributed to the early minting process for these coins where the sizes varied slightly. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with my orders and expect I'll likely purchase more albums and coins.
Dishonest Company It doesn't get worse than this
Dishonest Company It doesn't get worse than this. I made one order online. They charged me for a second order that I did not make. Contacting their customer service was horrible - I could not get any help whatsoever. When I disputed the second charge with my bank, they LIED TO MY BANK and said that I made a phone order for the second charge. This never happened. Now I am out over $100 for this fraudulent charge. Stay away from this company. I don't want anyone else to get scammed like I was. Extremely disappointed.
I really enjoy ordering Indian Head and Lincoln Cents to fill in my collections
I really enjoy ordering Indian Head and Lincoln Cents to fill in my collections. The online ordering process is easy to use, orders are shipped promptly in good, safe packaging and invoices are easy to understand. I do think that Littleton Coin could improve their approval process. I have sent lists of coins I need but continue to get unwanted coins in approval mailings. I have added notes to my return mailings but they have not helped. I may stop the approval process and just continue ordering.

I have purchased coins and related materials from Littleton for many years
I have purchased coins and related materials from Littleton for many years. I have always appreciated that the pictures of coins being offered reflected the actual coins being sold. I have found that I can always trust the condition given to coins in the sales material and the labeling on the containers, including small bags, were accurate. In many cases, I just keep the coins in the bags vs. putting them in books or other collecting type tools. When I ask that I be removed from try and buy type programs, they respect that enough to do so immediately.

I want to warn and potential Littleton Coin Company customers with my own experience I had with the company
I want to warn and potential Littleton Coin Company customers with my own experience I had with the company. I clicked a Facebook ad from LCC that advertised an uncirculated $2 bill for $1.00 with free shipping. I liked the novelty of the offer and decided I would purchase it for fun. On the order page, I was offered a sample of the "Coins On Approval" program. All I wanted was the bill I came for, so I DID NOT check the box to have the other items sent to me. After a week or two, I received the parcel containing the bill, as well as some other items. I thought it was a gift at first, but I found an invoice with the items. $19.99 total for the "Coins On Approval" sample that I previously declined to order. I was expected to send back the items I did not ask for or pay for them. This is deceptive and borderline extortion. They were trying to trick me into paying for these items by inconviencing me with the hassle of returning them. I did not fall for this scheme, and I send them back immediately, saving the tracking number to ensure they could not lie about receiving it. I hope that my review will make people wary of this scam and think twice about doing business with the Littleton Coin Company.

This is the most mismanaged, disrespectful, and belligerently self-defensive organization I have ever had the misfortune to do business with
This is the most mismanaged, disrespectful, and belligerently self-defensive organization I have ever had the misfortune to do business with. I gave them one chance after another to straighten things out. From time to time their supervisors try their best to clean up their act (the reason for the one star), but the fact is who ever is hiring these so-called 'customer service' reps is totally incompetent to choose decent, friendly, competent people. Firstly, they never do what they are supposed to, which is to ask if you are ordering from a catalog and this keeps you from better deals in points or otherwise. Secondly, and most importantly, the majority of their 'customer service' hires are rude, middle-aged, totally self-absorbed feminists whose only way of interacting is to shut you up when you ask for updates to your account/payment plans/products, take your time to lecture you about some topic they think is important, and treat you like you owe them something for finally getting around to doing their job. A disgusting ethic in serving paying customers. I had one who explicitly told me "go shop some place else." They train these people to be order takers not "friendly and knowledgeable staff" as they advertise. And that's how they treat you too: like you're wasting their time if you don't immediately order something. Thirdly, nearly every entry in those catalogs they mail you (they tell you are created by their marketing department) are false advertisement. More times than I can count I have gone page-after-page to order something and NOT ONE product was available. They need to hire competent marketing staff. They are located right up the road from a 4 year university with plenty of business and marketing majors, maybe paying bottom dollar for marketing staff isn't good for business after all. Thirdly, they constantly say with their mouths "we appreciate your feedback" but not one single time have I given them feedback about small ways to improve their totally dysfunctional website without their leadership and "service" agents spending the next 10 minutes in a lecture reading off a bullet list of excuses why none of the improvements can happen. One perfect example of this is user-friendly access to your wish list. I told them it would be best to relocate the list to an immediately accessible spot on the webpage after sign in. Currently you have to sign in, and click about 4 different spots, and scroll around to even find it. Not one person saw the value of this, simply responding with "Great sir, thank you for that feedback, your right, it could be more accessible." Amazon's page could serve as a template for them. But they would rather live with excuses why they can't serve better rather than value feedback and make changes. The only way to save this company is to fire the every single leader in this despicable organization and replace them with someone who can hire people who care about their paying customers enough to do their job with gratitude and competence.

I had started a monthly subscription and then later cancelled due to the cost to send it back
I had started a monthly subscription and then later cancelled due to the cost to send it back. I placed an order solely on specific items and also received coins i had the choice to keep or send back. I returned all the orders i received but when i call the invoice amount is always higher but some orders i do not even recognize or i remember already sending them back. One of which was from February but I made sure in March I was all caught up on sending orders back and yet somehow I still owe money from orders I sent back. I am not sure if this is an issue with USPS but I highly doubt it. Overall the process is extremely confusing and it took me three tries to actually cancel the monthly subscriptions. The customer service representatives are always helpful but I can never figure where the orders went, considering i certainly do not have them. I am unsure how to resolve this issue and I do not want to pay for something that I sent back.

I recd a bill for coins I did not receive ( or they were thrown away as suspected junk mail.) I called the company and told them not to send me ANYTHING. They said they would not send anything further. I paid for the coins anyway as I didn't want my credit ruined. They sent me another coin and another bill. (Which almost went in the trash as well, but I decided to check it to make sure it wasn't anything important) I called the company on 2/15 and the woman said, " oh, that was a different program ( a club) and we stopped that...this is something different...I told her I was not going to pay again and not to EVER send me anything again! Please make this company stop these shady practices ! I did not find any return envelope and I am not giving them anymore money, or paying to return items that I never requested .
I was promised a coin in 4 payments then I'm told the cost went up for the coin after complaining they told me I can get it for the original price but now I have to pay the bill in full I expect to get the coin for the original price and agreement "They committed to my 4 payments and then I was told I can get the coin for the original price but now I have to pay all at once"
Keep getting a bill from this company after everything was returned and account closed. Have contacted them several times and told each time it was taken care of.
My daughter ordered coins through Littleton when she was 14 years old
My daughter ordered coins through Littleton when she was 14 years old. She used a prepaid debit card that she had received for her birthday. The coins arrived and were nice. Then, she received another set of unsolicited coins. I paid the $ to avoid having to ship back, at which point we told the company (in the same mailer) to not send any more coins. She received more anyway. I've reached out to the company and asked them to send return envelope so we can return this second set of unsolicited coins without having to pay shipping. I have not gotten any help with this. Now, my daughter - who is now 15 - is getting credit collection services mailer. File number is XX XXXX XXXXX and the name on the account is ***. Additionally, she is also receiving new solicitations for her to order new sets of coins! I would like for this company to pay for return shipping so we can send back this last set of coins that we never ordered, and not send her anything else.

Littleton Coin Company will not unsubscribe me from their coins in approval service. I was subscribed by mistake and have repeatedly called to be unsubscribed. I have been told repeatedly after about an hour on hold that I will be unsubscribed. I continue to receive coins in the mail that I am expected to buy or send back at my own expense. I want them to stop sending me items.
I did not sign up to be receiving all these extra coins. That is so shady and it is a scam ! I has people owing this company money for all the *** coins they never wanted in the first place ! Take me off all any communication with this horrible company
got duped into a reoccurring product mailing, my bad. the problem is there is no clear way to make it stop . so I have to keep shipping the stuff back or get charged they have no email to contact them only a phone number that's always busy .
In June I responded to an offer for Native American coins through the Littleton Coin Company and I mailed a check and filled out the form
In June I responded to an offer for Native American coins through the Littleton Coin Company and I mailed a check and filled out the form. I was very confused when the package arrived and I was not sure what I was supposed to even receive. It wasn't even worth the price that I paid at the time. Now I received an invoice number XXXXXXXX for customer number XXXXXXXX for $43.00. The statement says that they sent extra merchandise as a free examination "Coins-On Approval" service. This was not the offer that I had responded to and paid for. This seems to be a bait and switch scam as they advertised some products, and then sent my some kind of subscription that I did not request as a predatory tactic. They have greatly overvalued the coins as well, as the Code Talkers are only worth $1 and they are trying to charge me $8.00 a piece. I want to end all business with the company and for them to stop sending me things I did not request and then trying to charge me outrageous prices.

I responded to an advertisement for FREE Buffalo nickels (invoice #XXXXXXXXXX . They then sent me UNSOLICITED items (invoice #XXXXXXXX for $19.95), which I paid out of courtesy. At this point I went on their website and tried to stop their unsolicited mailings. There is NO OPTION on their website to STOP these mailings! They have continued to ship unsolicited items and bill me (invoices # XXXXXXXX for $83.65 and # XXXXXXXX for $227.15). I refuse to continue paying for items I DID NOT ORDER. I have now received a notice from a collections bureau for items I did not order. I want all of these charges for items I did not request removed ($326.80), my account CLOSED, and all collection activity stopped immediately.
I am continuously receiving coins I have not requested and have been very specific about the coins I wish and am having to return with expensive postage. Also, I am being charged and billed for coins I have never received. I have tried to work with the business but no one seems to care and are apathetic to my situation.
I responded to an advertisement which offered a $2 bill for $1 including shipping. I was horrified when a few weeks later I received $50 worth of overpriced coins and bills that I in no way agreed to receiving. I looked at the advertisement closely because it seemed too good to be true and saw absolutely nothing about this "shop at home" nonsense. This is a bait and switch scam and is in complete bad faith. I couldn't believe when I saw this company had an A+ on Complaintsboard.com. They are shady and rely on customers' confusion to make money. I have sent the items back and have gotten ANOTHER shipment and another bill for the first. This company needs to be shut down.
I responded to a Facebook ad about a free coin.. they sent it along with some other coins my 83 year old mother wanted 2 and sent them a check.. we sent the rest back.. now I'm getting a notice that they sent me more and I'm going to be put on collections! I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING AND DID NOT AUTHORIZE THEM TO SEND ME ANYTHING ELSE I never received anything else! So take me off of your collections list for something I never received or wanted..

In October , I responded to an ad asking to join a half dollar collectors' club; apparently LLC mailed a trial shipment for me sometime after. I was not notified of the shipment. Any shipment never arrived. On 1/23 and 4/16, I received letters asking me to pay for the lost shipment; in response to the letters, I sent the attached on(1-25, 5-28) explaining the situation and why I should not be held liable for the lost parcel. Both letters were posted First Class and were not returned to me. I have not received response until 6/10 when I received a letter from Credit Collection Services seeking payment on behalf of LLC. As stated in all previous mails, I have not received anything and seeking to collect from a potential buyer for a lost parcel is unethical and probably illegal. I demand my info be removed from CCS, and your database as I refuse to conduct business with a company that is so predatory. In addition to a credit correction, I request no further contact.

March Littleton Coin Company sent out coins to me and I sent them back to the company as I did not desire to purchase them. The tracking number said they were delivered about four days after being sent. In May the company said they had not received the package. The tracking number had long since been discarded. Now they sent my information to a collection agency after me calling the company and speaking to them about the package being delivered. The company said it would look into the problem.

Invoice # XXXXXXXX I never placed this order #XXXXXXXX from Littleton Coin Company, but they want to charge me $185.77 I refused to pay for it, it is a unwanted order for me. I had sent them emails on 2/15 and 2/23 twice to ask them to stop sending any items to me, but they still shipped the order to me. Since this is an unapproved order, obviously Littleton Coin Company violates the rules which are codified in Title 39, United States Code, Sect. 300. Please check the link https://faq.usps.com/s/article/What-Options-Do-I-Have-Regarding-Unwanted-Unsolicited-Mail, it is illegal to send merchandise to someone, unless that person has previously purchased or requested it. According to that link above "If you open the mailpiece and like what you find, you may keep it for free. In this instance, "finders-keepers" applies unconditionally. Furthermore, it is illegal for a company that sends you unordered merchandise to follow the mailing with a bill or dunning communication."

I placed an order with this company based on a paper advertisement to purchase a set of national park quarters
I placed an order with this company based on a paper advertisement to purchase a set of national park quarters. I paid for the quarters and received them and figured the business transaction was done. When about a month later, a package of more coins arrived at my home along with an invoice for $104.11 to buy the coins. I never placed this order or ASKED them to assume I wanted to be in some on going service. No prepaid return label is included, so now I am expected to pay for shipping costs to return them. THIS IS A SCAM. In no other onine business can it be ASSUMED I want to receive continued shipments of product. This company will use as it's excuse that "well we just ASSUMED you wanted to continue to receive coin selections so we can keep sending them to you". No where does it allow you to make that ASSUMPTION. Especially without including a prepaid shipping label. This is a company who will try to profit off of people who lapse and forget to return coins, so they can haras

I sent payment for a product that never arrived after payment was received
I sent payment for a product that never arrived after payment was received. When I contacted customer service they stated no indication of my payment. I submitted a payment for $9.00 and $90.00 on February 13,2021 for a set of Morgan Silver Dollars as advertised on a mailing sent to my address of ***. As of March 12 I had not received my product and I contacted the company. A representative indicated that they had no receipt of my payment although, my records from USPS Tracking indicate that my payment was delivered to Littleton, NH on February 26. Instead of providing immediate remedy to this issue, I was told to contact them back on March 31 to see if my payment could be found due to the fact that they have "thousands of pieces of mail coming in daily". I was also told that the company has been in service for 75 years which was of no consequence to me at the time, I have not received my product and my payment is showing received.

I was presented with an ad on Facebook for a free 2020 half-dollar in the context of collecting coins
I was presented with an ad on Facebook for a free 2020 half-dollar in the context of collecting coins. All though a 2020 half-dollar is worth FACE VALUE (50 cents), and is NOT a collectible item, I accepted the offer because I like free money. In addition to receiving a half-dollar, I also received (1) 1981-D Susan B Anthony Dollar (NGC catalog price: $3), (1) 2005-P Sacagawea Dollar (NGC catalog price: $1.60), and (2) 2018 American Innovations Dollars (NGC catalog price: face) Total value on the NGC catalog: $7.10. Total face value:$4.50 Two months later I get a letter thanking me for "accepting" their coins-on-approval service. According to the letter I owe Littleton Coin Company $35.50. I was not informed that I was signed up for such a service any time during the checkout process. What I made sure of is that Littleton WAS NOT given my debit card number, and since I was sent this pocket change my mistake I WILL NOT be paying them. I spent the coins on chips due to the face value.

To Whom It May Concern: 2/28 /2022 I am writing in regards to coins I ordered through Littleton Coin
To Whom It May Concern: 2/28 /2022 I am writing in regards to coins I ordered through Littleton Coin. These coins were ordered using rewards points accumulated from money spent on orders placed previously. Littleton (supposedly) shipped this on 3 February, see delivery confirmation, (copy enclosed). On or about 17 February! emailed Littleton complaining their delivery confirmation/tracking stopped on 7 February and I had not received the coins. They replied that it took 7-14 days to ship. They apparently have difficulty counting days on a calendar as it had been 14 days as of the 17th -the day I sent the email. In addition, it wouldn't take the brightest person on the planet to figure out that a delivery confirmation that it's last entry was 10 days old might possibly be a sign something was not right. I either want Littleton to ship the coins I requested and have them actually be delivered to me or put the 6900 rewards points they deducted from my account back on it. Sincerely, ***. ***. ***, *** (***)

However, the company has a practice in which every week they send me items that I have not ordered. The items come in small envelopes, big boxes, medium bags...all sizes. When these items are delivered there is a letter enclosed saying that I have 15 days to examine the items and if I do not want them, I can return them and "just" pay for the postage. I have written them four times asking to stop sending merchandise that I have not ordered. I am not only a senior citizen, but both my wife and I are disabled. Everytime I receive this merchandise I have to pay a Taxi or Uber to drive me to the Postal Office, buy an evelope or a box and pay for the postage to return the items. This is completely unfair since I have not asked for the items that they are sending. Now I am receiving packages on a weekly basis and everytime they get bigger. I have contacted customer service and nothing has been done. I really need for this harrasment to stop.

On 03/07 I saw an advertisement in the VFW magazine (March issue), for WWII 75th Anniversary 1945 coin set (5 coins each)
On 03/07 I saw an advertisement in the VFW magazine (March issue), for WWII 75th Anniversary 1945 coin set (5 coins each). I cut out the form, wrote a check #1239, for $38.90, for 2 sets and mailed it to Littleton Coin Company. The check was cashed on 03/17. I waited for 4-8 weeks and heard nothing back. On 05/05 I called the company and heard a recording that the company was closed due to the COVID-91 Pandemic. By June, after calling again with no response, I called the Complaintsboard.com in Youngstown, Ohio and told them my problem. The sent me a consumer complaint for to fill out and send to Complaintsboard.com in New Hampshire as the company was in their jurisdiction. I did as she said and sent it via US mail on 06/27, after I received a phone call to Cherol Key (?) on 06/23. At Complaintsboard.com NH. 2PM In Sept. 2020 I called Complaintsboard.com of Ohio again (Amy?). She checked on it and said Complaintsboard.com NH didn't receive it , so she sent another complaint form. I filled it out again and sent it to Complaintsboard.com NH return receipt requested on 10/20. Now I'm out more time & money, 3 hours - phone calls, filling out forms and postage $8+, and aggravation! I hope this nightmare finally gets resolved! I won't be ordering anything else from magazines or mail.

i saw an ad from Littleton coin company on a magazine i received a while back which showed a set of quarters for a good price, when i received the order i was surprised that there was more coins in the mail than the ones i've ordered. so i went back online to see what did i miss while placing the order, the main advertisements they have for their "specials" offers, don't mention anything about any subscription or "coins on demand", once you click on "buy now" a list appears that look like your cart which only shows the items mentioned in the ad. under the "add to cart" button there's a sentence that mentions the coin-on demand program which is a very vague language since they are using company specific program name, once u're in the cart again there's no mention whatsoever of any subscription or club memberships. what boggles my mind is how is this legal and not a violation of title 39 "Mailing of unordered merchandise" of the U.S code which read: "(a)Except for (1) free samples clearly and conspicuously marked as such, and (2) merchandise mailed by a charitable organization soliciting contributions, the mailing of unordered merchandise or of communications prohibited by subsection (c) of this section constitutes an unfair method of competition and an unfair trade practice in violation of section 45(a)(1) of title 15. (c)No mailer of any merchandise mailed in violation of subsection (a) of this section, or within the exceptions contained therein, shall mail to any recipient of such merchandise a bill for such merchandise or any dunning communications." what would've prevented Littleton Coin from sending me 20 million dollar worth of coins? at the end of the day they don't tell you what they are sending and wouldn't that be considered unsolicited merchandise? and would i be held liable if those coin are lost in my possession? this entire thing feels like a scam, i would like Littleton coin company to unsubscribe me from any program or clubs they have.

I ordered 1 item then received stuff I did not order I ordered items for my grandsons
I ordered 1 item then received stuff I did not order I ordered items for my grandsons. I paid for them. Later I received items I did not order. I sent them back and I called to tell them to stop sending me stuff. I was told I was getting another shipment that had already been shipped out. I was told that I would get a return envelope sent to me and to wait for it. I did and returned the items I did not order. I was not here to refuse the next order and it was accidentally opened. I called Littleton again and was told they would send out a return label for the second order after I insisted and reminded the rep that I did not want to join a club it was a one-time purchase. I dislike this companies practices and I am shocked the attorney generals office isn't more involved with their practices. I ordered a couple of times and I never signed up for a club! I see many complaints just like mine. I told both reps that I didn't want any further packages from them. The first rep was nice the second time I called that rep was less friendly. I asked if I really was expected to pay for insurance for stuff I never asked for? The first rep said and I quote "no you do not have to purchase insurance because we guarantee delivery". Needless to say I did not insure either package I personally brought to the post office. I asked for a receipt from the post office and was told to take a pic of the envelope because that's all I could get because there was no scanning on these returns. Believe me that worried me because I read that Littleton is notorious for claiming the package was not received. But you know what? I could have easily claimed I never received it in the first place..but I didn't I'm honest I sent both packages back. Now I have a bill for $130.59 For coins I do NOT have! In addition I do have copies of the return labels from both coin orders (I never ordered) and neither one of them are for $130.59. Their invoices don't even match. I will NEVER order anything from them again even if it's FREE! They says they took me off their list but I highly doubt it!
