nexus 6
In China, All Android phone without Google service, I'm a fan of Google, So I bought 2 Nexus 6 32GB smart phone from www.livingsocial.com.
When I received the smartphones, I found that they are both used, and one of them the package was not original, both smartphones are customized for AT&T version but not for regular retail version.
I contacted livingsocial (Request: [protected]), and they said I need return the phones for refunds, but they have not replied to me after I claimed that I had paid for the China's import fees and international shipping fees.
Now, I found livingsocial removed my account after I said I will file a PayPal dispute.
I have take following actions, still unresolv.
1.File a PayPal dispute, PayPal China's customer service said I will pay for the return shipping costs to U.S., This is not a result of an my error.
2.File a bbb complaint, but have not replied.
3.Contacted Illinois Attorney General (Protecting Consumers) and Submitted a consumer complaint online submission form, but have not replied.
4.Contacted PayPal U.S., but have not replied.
I really feel, protect consumers legal rights are too difficult in U.S.
I have already take too much time for this and I don't know what to do to solve the problem.
Any suggestions for resolve this issue? Thank you.
motorola nexus 6 32gb
I herein comfirm that the followings are true and accurate and I would like to take the corresponding legal responsibilities.
American is a society of good faith, I trust American companies and individuals very much and hence I started to purchase commodities online from U.S. since year 2014, but I have never encountered any webiste other than www.livingsocial.com, the website cheats the buyers. I recently learned that the website was rated at 2.78 only on BBB.org, and reported 393 disputes.
This September 22, I purchased two smartphones through www.livingsocial.com, Motorola Nexus 6 32GB 4G LTE Smartphone (GSM Unlocked New), the smartphones were delivered to a U.S. address(SF Express American Branch), then SF Express shipping them to my China address.
When I received the smartphones, I found that they are both used, and one of them the package was not original, both smartphones are customized for AT&T version but not for regular retail version.
10/21 or 22, I found they removed my account when I want to find my order number.
I contacted www.livingsocial.com (Request: [protected]), and they agreed the goods return and refund, but they have not replied to me after I claimed that I had paid for the China's import fees and international shipping fees.
I think www.livingsocial.com should compensate all of my financial losses, this case would not happen if they have delivered me the brandnew smartphones as ordered, and I would not contact BBB org either.
I will give www.livingsocial.com negative feedbacks/comments on BBB.org, I would never give up, and I will take all my endeavors to protect my legal rights and interests.

Ultimate date night

Two movie tickets and a $100 restaurant.com egift card
I followed the instructions explicitly. on oct. 14 I went to amc lincoln center and the e-movie voucher was not accepted, although this is listed as one of the participating movie theaters. I tried repeatedly to ask that the reference number be validated or re-issue a new one. no response. I wish that ls would take some ownership vendors that they allow to do business on their site. at minimum vet the companies this is a scam and they're crooks.

product not received.
I bought a voucher from Living social around five weeks ago. I did not receive the code to renew the voucher, so I contacted the customer service several times by telephone. On 14/09/2017 they told me that they would order the item, a king size mattress protector, ( £24) for me directly from the merchant, and it would arrive within the next ten working days. It did not, so I contacted them again and they said they would email the merchant again and send me a copy of it so that I had the contact of the merchant myself. I did not receive this e mail. I have still not received any contact from the merchant and I have not received the item. I require my money back.

restaurant credit
I bought 4 Jimmy's on the Park restaurant deals a few years ago. We only used one of them because we only can use it one at a time. I thought I could use them all in once. My husband was upset with the restaurant policy, so we never go back. I went back there with my girl friend to try to use the credit value, but we found out that they closed down their business.
I tried to reach living social customer service to get the value of the money I paid, but they never get back with me.
unauthorized charges
On 10/02/2017 I had 3 unauthorized charges on my bank account in the amount of $100.00 $119.00 and $68.99 I've spoke with my bank ( Neighbors Credit Union) in regards to these unauthorized charges and now I'd like to speak with someone from Living Social. I just recently check my bank account and the charges have now cleared my bank account. How do I dispute these?

credit for an unused vendor that closed down
I requested a site voucher/credit for a measly $20 because the vendor shut down. I inquired on getting a credit for the voucher months previous because I couldn't find any information on when the vendor was opened/hours/service (it was a restaurant) well little did I know then that the vendor had actually closed its doors but that wasn't public knowledge or advertised. They still popped up on the internet and the phone was valid, just not being picked up by a live person. Fast forward some months, yes after the voucher expired, and I looked again at my vouchers and remembered this one and the issues I had. I confirmed finally the vendor closed shop months previous. So I emailed LivingSocial asking for a site voucher and was denied. Even though I found several references where a site voucher was honored to other customers for this same issue! I asked for a manager and was told one wasn't available; I asked again, then was sent almost the same response, that this wasn't their policy. Not exactly the truth. I am very frustrated and disappointed, my money was stolen!

living social voucher for nicks mobile detail
I called today on 9/7/17 to redeem two voucher I purchased on July 26, 2017 for Nicks Mobile Detail and Nick said he could no longer do the service and to contact living social for a refund. Tried to contact them but no way to get a hold of them thru their website. I found them on google and tried all 3 numbers but out of service or another recorded message to sell more thing.
No way to get a refund!
I am calling credit card to get a refund and going on yelp and facebook to warn all that Living Social is a scam!
they ripped me off
I bought a voucher from them to learn how to play golf, but they had problems with finding a couch and I was left without service. I thought it would be reasonable to ask for a refund. And I was said I would get it if I canceled my order within a week. But how did I know? You didn't say anything when I was making an order. It was surely not my fault, so why am I responsible and have to lose my money?

ultimate date night 597; order [protected]
I purchased the ultimate date night (see above order number) for diner and movies, deadline is within 2 days, 8/31/17. I successfully openned the diner voucher but the movie voucher code, which was provided, was not working. Contacted LS via chat, who couldn't open the voucher. When I requested a refund, I was told that a full refund could not be issues, as my only option was to settle for a "Trade-In" with a 24 hour expiration. You must be kidding! You couldn't provide a service which was purchase and then you turn around stating I'm stuck, not being able to issue a refund for a committmeent you couldn't uphold. Will never use LS and will forward my review on Yelp! Kathie Bazikian, [protected]@gmail.com

Bought coupon for dinner at sunset on the Charles they made it very difficult to book then called and canceled because they booked and event and proceeded to tell me I could only book during the week. We live an hour and a half away from bosto. This is s sunset dinner and we planned on a weekend does not say weekdays only plus had a reservation they cancelled and livingsocial want get back to me regarding total refund.
puchased a voucher which business closed then not given a refund
I contacted customer service at Living Social on 7/17/17 and informed them that business of voucher I purchased had closed down. (South Slope Public House). I was informed that a refund could not be done and I would have to accept Deal Bucks, "fine" I said. I was informed that it would take 4-5 business days. I called back today 7/24/17 after not receiving any bucks or information. Spoke with a customer service rep, who then told me she would submit the request and it would take 4-5 business days. Not understanding at all I asked to speak with a manager who went in circles about how it was being processed today instead of saying it was never done on the 17th when I first called. His name is Armand and he would not give me his last name. He was rude and would not let me speak with anyone else. I asked him if any restitution could be made due to my troubles, he said goodbye and hung up. This is horrible customer service and I would really like something to be done. My name is Clifford Taylor and my email address is [protected]@yahoo. com. My telephone number is [protected]. This will lead to other issues if not resolved, I am truly offended.
I bought a living social cooking class for two for 44$, the business closed, so I asked for credit for amount purchased, and was told I cannot get even credit for amount purchased, so I just spent 44$ for nothing? Ya, this isnt over, this is insane.
I purchased some cupcake voucher for my daughter a little while ago, same story as your the store closed down and it was bad luck for me because i couldn't be bothered chasing calls after calls, email after email, one person after another and department to department for a refund. It is until 2 weeks ago they honor me 15% off my purchase but the computer didn't offer me 15% when i proceed to payment. I addressed the concern to them immediately and it has been 10days without a single progress. So i started searching for their contact number, then it jotted my memory that i purchased with them in the past with negative results. It doesn't seem like they care about their business or staff care about their job. Sad way to run business
$39 for 10 classes
I requested a refund and they are thieves, liars and a fraud.
1/ they.tell refunds arent possible, not true
2/ they tell me theyll credit me in maximum 10 business days I call in a system error didnt let it happen so wait another 10 days. I waited 1.5 hours on the phone and it got disconnected
I have been trying to reach them, and they dont provide resolution
Thieves!

voucher to save $50.00 with esso gas stations
I bought four $50.00 vouchers for $156.00, using deal bucks. I was to present the voucher at Esso when I purchased gas to get five cents off per litre. However, the vouchers have no barcode, so the Esso station refused to honour it. When I sent a message for help to LivingSocial to try to redeem my deal bucks I was told that it was a final sale and that nothing could be done. So I lost $156.00! I would like either to receive vouchers that work with Esso stations or get a refund in my deal bucks
fraud!!!
This company charged my paypal account for something I NEVER ordered. Talking to their "customer service" is almost impossible. It sounds as though it is in India somewhere and the rep can hardly understand a word I saw. The rep is also "unable to help me" and will have an "account specialist" call me back -- a call I never expect to receive. All I can do is dispute this charge on PayPal and warn others to avoid this "company" like the plague.
refund due to merchant refusal of service
A voucher was purchased for Titan Home Service mid-January to be redeemed by mid-April (for service/value completion by end of July 2017). Merchant was contacted March 21 to arrange appointment and use of voucher. Merchant responded but did not provide any dates/appointment. Merchant did not response again until AFTER mid-April (after voucher expiry) and stated he changed the expiry date from mid-April to end of March (original contact was still made before his "new" expiry). He has since refused to provide service under the terms of the voucher or simply the value rendered, even though we are not in July 2017. LivingSocial has done NOTHING to fix this situation simply stating that the voucher has expired when in fact the merchant was contacted before the expiry date. I met the rules/regulations of the voucher by contacting the merchant prior to the voucher expiry. The merchant has violated their legal obligation to fulfil the services (or value of service) paid for. Imagine if every merchant simply waited until after the expiry date of the voucher to return customer contact.
I want the service (or value of service) however if the merchant is refusing then I want a full refund to my credit card
"maryland crab cakes, blue crabs, or seafood dinner"
On 4-28-17 I bought the above deal (Inv. [protected])using Paypal for payment.
On 5-10-17 I had not received my order . I contacted LivingSocial (LS) and a very helpful person assisted me. Bottom line Maryland Crab was holding my order because of a $6.00 packaging fee. I advised the LS rep that that was not in the deal. The add stated free shipping. The LS rep check and verified the add. She contacted Maryland Crab and was advised if I contacted them they would waive the $6.00. I told the LS rep I had waited 2 weeks for the order, mother's day was four days away. I canceled the order and received a credit with LS. I feel Maryland Crab is trying to glean extra money on unsuspecting customers at the expense of LS.
Regards.

purified cleaners (house cleaning)
DO NOT USE this company. They have cancelled appts. many times and were texting me after 11pm to set up an appts. They were scheduled to come at 2:30 April 27th (voucher originally purchased March 8th) and I get a text the night before and tell me they have an errand to do at 4:30pm then will be at my house to start cleaning no way that's ridiculous by the time they finished it would be 7:30 pm not a time to clean a customer's house. The contact person was Brittanee, so if you get this voucher, which I would not purchase her name is Brittanee and she is not reliable and will contact you late at night.
same experience here, reschedule after reschedule. they also marked voucher as redeemed immediately after we purchased it, even though we have never even reached out to make an appointment.
I wouldn't also after i settle my refund. I just don't care
Error, the staff just don't care about a thing.
mini movers - virginia beach virginia
Mini Movers was scheduled to move me ( 2 hour move for $199.99) on March
25th @ 8 AM. The movers finally showed up at 3:30 PM after numerous phone
calls. They only moved the large pieces and were there for approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. I had a trundle bed that they scratched up so bad that i had to repaint it (black) Other pieces were also scratch and were stained again in places. The only saving grace is that my brother- in-law told him we were only paying $150.
