Loancare is one step before scam to me they never answer the phone but tell you it's going to be a long wait leave call back number and when you are to late to make changes they answer for me it was 5 calls later and told me I needed to call 2 days earlier to make a change on my account so I was trying to stop auto pay my check came 1 day after autopay I was charged NSF fee late fee and they reported it to credit bureau they got payment 8 days ago still has not reached my bank

unsolicited field inspector home visit.
On April 1st 2018, the day after Easter, a field inspector (SL-7) came to my home uninvited.
My kids were home that day while I was not. While he didn't run into my kids that day they were playing basketball in the drive earlier with their friends.
I also have a very protective dog that sits in the door when the kids are outside and while he is fine with visitors we know, OR INVITED GUESTS, he IS NOT friendly when you are not!
We are a month behind on our payment but trying to catch up, but that does NOT give you the right to visit my home. HOW DARE YOU!
Should this ever happen again I will not be responsible if my dog charges out the door after you so please be warned!
After seeing ALL the horrible reviews about this company we are going to do our best to find another mortgage company as I don't have the time to make sure our payments are actually going toward our mortgage or not, nor whether we are being ripped off or taken advantage of!
If a field inspector shows up to my house again I will call the police and instruct my kids to do the same.

This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. They bought my mortgage from Chase and I had a bad feeling because I looked up the reviews. And a couple months later sure enough they raise my mortgage almost $300 a month! I just bought this house, and when people buy a house they buy within their budget. My understanding with an FHA loan and homestead your taxes can jump a small percent. They raised mine almost 1/3 of my total payment. When you try to explain this to them, they say it is what it is. Their "projected analysis"! What happened to consumer rights?

This "company" is a joke its website had been down for months, there really isn't a customer service number and no way for me to know where I stand in my loan. I know I'm behind a month since my tenants left suddenly and I didn't have the funds at hand at the time but since their late fees are high in trying to speak to anyone and no luck.
There has to be a way to get this fixed i see all these complaints here and they're all about the same thing. This is a mortgage for hundreds of thousands of dollars not a catalog ordering company.
What a shame loans can just be bought to the higher bidder and end up with crappy companies like this one and we're the ones that suffer. I'm sure this is going on my credit report but at this point I'm gonna wait till they call me for a payment.if someone knows where I can file a complaint please let me know. [protected]@hotmail.com.

Started feb 17 2018 they never rec my on line payment. Yet payment have been taken out starting in july, on time and now all of a sudden hey they haven"t rec it. Calling and calling on hold 28 min then a (click) haang up repeat call id John then (click) haang up. Last call sat march 17 at 10am info said rec payment march 8 2018. Well on hold again 32 min (click) haang up tired of calling press this press this and then on hold and guess what a haang up.

This is actually an Umbrella Company it's Western Union and Wells Fargo. Poor Communication, unprofessional customer service and the IT department is a joke. This is a fly by night operation not to be trusted. It operates more like an investment firm using the people it provides loans to as hunters for their investments. This companies main goal is to foreclose and resell. This is a warning to anyone considering using their services.

Avoid this company! Countless numbers of calls were made to gain online access and get my tax info without success. They keep saying they mailed the info and never did or say they sent an email to reset the password and it is never received! Yes junk and spam mail was checked! They will put you long holds and often hang up on you! Worst customer service ever!6

LoanCare bought my mortgage from Wells Fargo (WF) as of 7/2017. Never a problem with WF in 10 years. In September, LoanCare paid the escrowed real estate taxes at 100% of the bill, rather than the 50% due at that time. I sent an email notifying them of this mistake in October but got NO response. Of course, this created a negative escrow, and when the escrow analysis came up for recalculation in November, they would want $100 a month more starting in 2018...So I wrote and provided them detailed calculations on THEIR mistake in November. and in apprx 10 days got a response that they would review my information. So, it's the middle of January, they have done nothing. I resent paying them $100 a month more. They will NEVER give back an excess and hold on to it. Apparently, their escrow department does not know how to read bills for real estate taxes.
I've had a problem with their accounting. They have not posted to credits to my principle balance in 2018. they also charged me a late fee for a loan payment paid in Feb for March, almost 2 weeks in advance. Their customer service is anything but so when I asked for a supervisor when I first had a problem in Jan she was helpful but I continue to have problems. Check your statements carefully. Write them by scrolling past the mailing addresses to emails. A copy of the email will show in your Inbox save to a file for documentation.
can't make a payment
Since late November I have not been able to get through by phone or log in online to male a payment. Have left my number to be called back or get a message to call back the next day and sorry for the inconvenience. But the sure call me with an automated call every day. Mortgage is super late now with no way to pay.
I habe called every number that I can find and they all lead to the same result. Have emailed the only email I can find and have heard back.

I'm having the same issues with LoanCare, I have been contacting via email and phone, without much response. Customer Service stated that theyt are looking into my missing payments. They returned one of my payments as well. I can't login into my account either. A manager was supposed to had contact me and I'm still waiting on that phone call. I have called them at least 6 times waiting for an update. I decided to call them again and I find out that my account has been moved to loss mitigations. This is horrible service. I do not recommend them. We need these banks to stop selling our loans to these 3rd parties.
payment amounts/unable to speak to anyone
2 months after we closed on our house they purchased my mortgage - though they didn't send me information so I mailed the payment to the original company (was late that month). I was told at the time of closing that the loan payment would increase due to taxes, so I called Loancare several times to inquire & they said "no, it's right" so I kept making that payment (my mistake).
My husband lost his job so I contacted them about assistance & it took nearly 2 months to get anything from them. We signed the papers & I made all the payments that would lead to a permanent payment modification. Since October or November we've been receiving calls from them - sometimes they'd leave a computer generated message, other times no message. When we answer they hang up. When we call we go through the process of entering account information only to receive a recording & bthen a hang up (this is during business hours). Today I was transferred to the loss mitigation dept. but kept getting a loop recording when I hit 0 (as I don't know an extension or last name).

This is the worst company ever. My loan was transferred to this company and every since then they have been sending me statements in the mail saying I have shortages and I've never had this issue at any other company before and now my mortgage is up and down even though it's a fixed rate. This company are robbing people blind. When you make a payment this company do not apply it right then and there when you do make your shorties pay me for whatever reason the shortest was for so therefore you have to keep calling and speaking with different representatives that don't know what they are doing nor as if they know what you're talking about. Now even though I paid all of my shortages my mortgage has went up and now it is affecting my kids Christmas because of this company is ripping people off.

I have not received a notice of default from loan care last check the bankruptcy had made all payments, my husband and I have made payments and plus they kept money from the MIP Surplus of $2000. But Just sent me a notice that I was in foreclosure with a notice of default and I believed the change titles prior to the notice of foreclosure I just received on 11/18/2017..

Movement Mortgage sold my refinance loan to this company 6 months after we closed. Loan Care increased my payment by $40 claiming it was due to an increase in property taxes. Not true. I'm changing banks on my own now and they are going to have to refund me all that escrow. I'm a little concerned that the funds won't be there after reading all the other complaints

The worst company ever! My loan was transferred over and 60 days later they were able to locate my loan. Sent my payments to the old company and it was returned to me a month later! By the time I was able to make a payment with them they informed me I was 2 months going on 3 months late, was unable to use the online banking was informed that they can only take the 3 month payment only to start. No payment arrangement was available while I waited to receive the money from the other company. This company return2 full payment made from western union, without informing me, since it was clear from my bank and western union never called me to inform me, I didn't know it was an issue. I found out a month later causing my account to go into foreclosure, no warning, spoke a representative twice to inform them of my payments and nothing was said about the rejected payment! Worst company ever! Drove 7 hours to process a full payment during the hurricane to prevent foreclosure on my home no longer behind. Now I can get a hold of these people. I 've called 8 times since my last payment, money still in my account and I cant get a hold of them. So here we are again I am late on my mortgage! Payment was received on the 11th! Today is the 17th!

Loan Care LLC, a TERRIBLE company! They are scammers, I spoke with my bank and they said that payments were sent to them every month on the 9th, within the grace period and they decided to process it late. I get a fee accessed every month, customer service is horrible and they took over my loan about 3 months ago and they cannot seem to get their crap together. I have had it and Loan Care needs to be put on blast. I get delinquency calls every month from them and when I check with my account, payments are sent out way in advance so there's no need for Loan Care to take 5-8 days to process a payment. I spoke to loan care and was told that they stamp checks soon as its received. I started the process to refinance with a different company because I have never had any issues with my mortgage until Loan Care took over. So be aware that if your loan gets sold to them, run and run far away. Get away from them!
Worst loan services EVER... lost home in camp fire ... they have been holding over 240, 000 of my money for almost 20 days with no call backs or reasonable explanations called numerous times with promises of a call back for past two weeks .. not one call back each rep says something totally different...I’ve lost one home now I’ll loose another because of this uncaring, untrained, untrustworthy, ...company
va loan servicing & escrow account handling
This company does not service my VA Escrow account well. They missed my July Town of Brooklyn Quarterly Real Estate Tax Payment and should be audited for possible Trust Fund malfeasance at a minimum.
The Town wants a late fee and their money now.
When called LoanCare, LLC perpetual voice loop attempts to shift to their website, which is a total 1980's loser. That is if you can log back in without having to go through hours of trying to get tech help or phone support.
I did in under an hour get a recorded escrow account that said my recent tax bill was paid in April and that they were...preparing to pay July...today is August 11th!
Finally, more recorded loops I got a live person who placed me on hold for a number of minutes, but was polite and apologetic, and explained all would be well including them not me paying the late fee. But that's not the point. This servicer has been on the job as long as Trump on my 6 year old VA loan and I do believe he must be running the company as well as the country.
My previous service company at least paid bills on time and my small town tax collector thought I was a taxpayer good for on time payments. Had This irresponsible company called me I could have walked down on the due date and paid the bill on day due, no late fee and no deadbeat on the tax roll, Thanks LoanCare, LLC.
I wonder what it is they do care about beside the servicing fee, It sure isn't me.
Loancare is also mishandling our VA mortgage escrow account. After a couple of calls, I finally got someone to admit that they have added $193.50 charge for PMI to our monthly payment. VA mortgages DO NOT require PMI!
The representative could not send me a copy of the escalation of this matter to his supervisor. He could not give me any kind of tracking number or any other proof of my contact. We have now made this payment for the past 6 months and no idea what they will do about the over payment. Of course, I can’t talk to “the supervisor.” I will be registering complaints everywhere I can to get this fixed.

Last month July, we received a letter from them that This month of August our mortgage from 3700+ will now be 4500+, we called their customer service and they said it was increased because our property tax went up to $19000, we were stunned so we called our county to ask for our tax rate and told them the issue, they laughed and said that it is impossible to pay $19000 for a house worth $500k, it's not $2million house. When we called back loanCare they cannot show us their own computAtion they said that's how their tax department calculated it based on the county tax rate they receive, but in fact the [protected] property tax doesn't exist yet per our county tax collector. They were just assuming so they increased our monthly payment. Now they said we have to wait for 14 days until our issue will get to the right department. Can't wait until I get out of their very worst system!
This has happened to me to and said that I had to pay them back the escrow they covered for a few months and owe the new amount of 160.00 more a month. Thanks for the information I am going to do some research on my end about my own loan. They cant seem to explain why my payment went up so much. frustrating!

When our loan was changed to Loancare - what a surprise - you have to pay a $12 fee to make your loan payment over the phone (like they are getting money just to service the loan anyway). Went to change homeowners insurance - that was a real trip. Loancare's insurance department and escrow departments are completely separate - therefore the left hand does not know what the right had is doing. They supposedly paid the new insurance (we were sent an email) - then they took the payment back because they had already paid the old insurance co. (Never sent us an email or acknowledgement that the payment did not go) This was over 2 weeks ago - as of today it still states they paid the new insurance company 2 weeks ago. Everything got so confusing we were almost without home owners insurance.

My loan was sold to this company and it has been torture dealing with these people ever since. I recently did a refi with them and it was the worst experience of my life. These people have no idea what they are doing. Thankfully, the refi is over and today I was contacted by my insurance company stating my mortgage company refuses to pay them even though the funds are in my escrow account. When I called loancare to ask them why. They had no clue what they were doing nor had an explanantion as to why they don't want to pay my insurance company. What a joke!

You cannot speak to a person! I just spent a half-hour trying to get to a rep, but the response call tree never offers that option, no matter what you do. This company screwed up the handover from and earlier mortgage company as well. I would like to increase my mortgage payment, but can't do it without speaking to someone and that is apparently impossible.
