L Mart and their fraudulent practices need to be investigated criminally. When I took a title debt from them in March 2015 I was told clearly over the phone I could request a payoff total at any time and would pay my principal and the rolling interest. I requested a payoff total in September 2015 and kept asking for it almost daily at the end until Dec 2015...

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group vehicle tracking installed

Loanmart hired Fumble repo recovery in Rialto California to repo my vehicle. Once in Fumble recoverys possession they installed a tracking device to assist further recoveries. My complaint is not that they installed gps, my complaint lies with the way the gps was installed. Before repo my dash lights, including my cd player lights illuminated a nice steady green glow. Today after the repo they still illuminate a green glow except now its interrupted by random flickering, intensified by bumps or railroad tracks sometimes making one half of my dashboard normal green while the others half is a dim dull green. Possibly a short? I am no electrician, and apparently either is the tech who installed the gps, so who do I turn to make this right? When I brought this up to Loanmart they claim they do not install tracking devices, well duh, nice wording Loanmart, you personally dont install tracking but the recovery companies you sublease do. And when I tried to talk to Fumble recovery about this, they claim they 're just following protocol per Loanmart.

So, we took out a loan when our kids ended up in the hospital. We made our payments (missed one in December of 2010 but made it up January 201. By March 2011 we had paid $5730 off a $6000 Loan. We were forced into Bankruptcy during which LoanMart received an additional $5461.10 for a total of 11, 198.10. they then called and said they wanted $20, 000 in...

This company has got to be shut down! They truly are the ### of the earth. The best advice I can give anyone considering getting a loan from them is this... you would be so much better off to just sell your vehicle. If you get a loan from them you are going to end up paying 3 or 4 times the amount you borrowed. Also, if you miss a payment, they are going to...

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group repo of vehicle

If you are looking to get a loan threw this place, please don't. They have the rudest employees and when your on the phone with them, they really are not of help and you can hear some of the employees goofing around. I got a loan with them. My payments are due on the 10th of each month, since I get paid every 25th, my payments have been late each month for 2 weeks. Well today January 23rd, and my vehicle got repo for being late 2 weeks. These people are horrible, charge you a arm and a leg for this, and didn't even give written notice. They are horrible in comunication, never leave messages or send written notices. Please avoid this company.

Agree! I made the very bad mistake of doing business with this company when I found myself in a financial jam one month.
I should have done the math and realized that I would be paying nearly 7000 dollars on a 2500 dollar loan.
My vehicle eventually broke down, and I couldn't afford the registration, maintenance, and Loansharks fees...I threw in the towel and let them have my nonworking vehicle.
I have paid them x2 of what I borrowed, and still got screwed.
Taking full responsibility for my poor choices, I'd like to warn anyone who is considering getting a title loan.
Unless you can pay the amount in full within a couple of months, DON'T DO IT!
YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT!

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group loan sharks/deceiving

when i called them because i needed a loan they explained the interest to me the way they explained it did not sound so bad. i went ahead an signed the contract for the loan back in June 2012. I have made a total of 6 payments and the it has all gone to interest. my loan was for a total of 3, 790.00 dollars after 6 payments of 360.00 a month i called in December 2012 for my pay off and they said it was 3639.00. i was so upset i called a few times trying to get ahold of someone that would explain this to me finally i was transferred to someone who was very apologetic and said that their job was to make sure interest rates and how it works gets explained to the customer when they sign the contract but unfortunately they try calling me but couldn't get ahold of me...i was very upset. i asked to speak to a supervisor and up to this day i still haven't received a call. basically to everyone out there please, please, please do not do business with 1-800 loanmart they will get you more in debt. I regret this so bad. their interest is so high if i keep on making my monthly payments according to the contract i will pay a total of 8, 648.10 interest and loan. please do not take out a loan with them. i wish i would of looked and done my research before signing up these kind of loans are aimed at people that are vulnerable and are in need of financial help.

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group bad bizz

I had gotten a title loan from loanmart... Oh god was it a big mistake! There rate is 97% daily interest so no matter if u pay u still keep owing them all ur paying is monthly interest and ur loan amount never goes down... I cant believe that this is even legal for companies to take advantage of people when they are in a though situation... No matter how in debt you may be I advise never go with a car title loan... You will just get yourself deeper in debt and may even lose your car... And of course you will still owe them the whole amount of the loan plus daily interest... So plz take my wordz into consideration and dont do it... You will regret it... I sure did

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group release of title

I paid off my loan on my 2010 Dodge Dakota, at their outrageous interest rates 4 months ago. I paid my vehicle registration fees and when I received my title it showed 1 800 loan mart as the Lien Holder? I called 1800loanmart and asked whats up? They said they would get back to me in a few days after they checked out my account. The next day I received a lien release letter via facs. I called them back again and asked why they didn't send it to DMV? I was told I had to do it in person. I asked if there were any fees involved and they said "No". I went to DMV this morning and had to pay $15.00 to have the lien release take place and received a new registration card. I gave DMV the title and they said I would receive a new title at about three weeks. In the meantime I cannot sell my vehicle until I get the new title with them released from it. I called back to voice my complaint about having to pay the $15.00 and they said they would connect me to the lady that handled my case last week. I got her voice mail and have not heard back from 1800loanmart. I think it would be great if I could recoup some of the outrageous interest fees since I don't feel they held up their end of the deal. I am glad I didn't have an accident because the title said they were the lien holder and my vehicle could have been take away.

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group in bed with money gram

My husband and I turned to 1800 loan mart out desperation to not end up homeless. When we tried to pay off the loan early (To avoid more of the daily interest charges) we were forced to go through money gram (And pay an additional fee) because they do not accept payments over $500 online. I wonder how much of a kick back they get from money gram for sending them so many customers. 1 800 loan mart preys on desperate people who no other options. Beware!

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group expensive loan

First off I want to say the that the loan I got from 800loanmart was very expensive! But I want to thank 800loanmart for helping me out & for being the only ones willing to help. I was having trouble paying a credit card that I owed $13, 000 on so the credit card bank offered me to settle for $3, 500. Only problem is they only gave me 4 months to pay the entire settlement amount & if I didn’t pay the total by the 4th month the settlement would be voided & I’d lose the $250/month I paid for 3 months. I was on my 3rd month & had not been able to borrow the remaining $2, 750. My credit union and my bank did not want to lend me money on my car title because of my credit. None of my family members or friends could help either. Before I took out my loan with 800loanmart I was not sure if I should because I read some bad reviews on them but since I really needed to meet the deadline I figured I'd give them a shot. Plus the BBB had given them a B+ rating anyway so I thought it would be worth a try. Again, I do have to say that the loan I got from them was expensive but it was convenient & what I like about this company is that they disclose this clearly & even in the contract it says it in big letters "this is a high cost loan, think carefully before deciding to take loan" or something like that. I was able to get the money fast without any hassles & in time to meet the credit card settlement deadline. I also made sure I made my payments on time to payoff my car title loan. I paid off my 800loanmart loan in 5 months and although it was pricey I ended up saving a lot more money than I spent because had I not made the lump sum I would have lost my $750. More importantly I also ended up saving about $9, 500 because of the settlement and I don’t have to pay that credit card anymore.

Five star review for 1800-loanmart! paul, i'm with you 100%! 1800-loanmart is a bit expensive... but given my poor credit past and my inability to get money from a traditional lender (and my parents won't help me out any more), so really 800loanmart was my only option. I was skeptical at first, but the loan rep was extremely helpful and supportive and walked me through each step from the time I applied to the time I walked into their office and picked up my check. I had the option of paying my loan off slowly over the period of 24 months, but when I added up the amount of interest I would have had to pay, my eyes nearly burst out of their sockets! lol. I paid off the loan after only 30 days (they didn't hit me up for pre-payment penalties either, which was cool... unlike some other companies I looked into). I saved thousands on interest by paying it off early and I would most definitely use 1800-loanmart again should I ever find myself in a bind in the future.

I've read a lot of 1800-loanmart complaints, but honestly, I give a review for 1800-loanmart with 5 stars! they were the only ones there for me when I needed money. keep up the great work guys!

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group loan shark! crook!

Last month, I went to Loan Mart to get a loan because I was in financial crisis. The interest rate is skyrocket high. When my payment is one day late, a collector called me and my family member and harassed us. They were very rude and thretened to repossess my car. REally? For one day late payment? Two days later, I called them back to arrange my payment. They still kept insulting me and saying that there would be no mercy for my next payment. CROOKS!

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group harassment

I unfortuneatly needed some cash, and had no other means to get any but I would have been better off letting all my utilities get cut off. They start calling and harrassing the next day after the payment is due no matter if you call and tell them or not the calls keep coming. I should have known better but we all make stupid decisions. DO NOT BORROW MONEY FROM THESE PEOPLE. This doesn't even consider the 97% interest they charge. What a rip off. Where is Barney Frank and Chris Dodd when you really need them. AGAIN STAY AWAY.

I cosigned for an ex because he owned the car but didn't have a job at the time. Two years later they are harassing me at my new job. They first called and claimed to be the state unemployment dept and somehow was able to get me to confirm that I was indeed working and they asked me if the last four of my ssn was mine and I said yes. Moments later they call in and ask for the HR fax number. Moments later a fax comes over asking for my title, how long i have worked there, my supervisor name, my salary etc. How the heck can they lie and claim to be a government agency?! I just don't undertand, and this is not even my car. Help! lewfam3@gmail.com

[Loan Agent] you qualify for 3, 000
[Visitor] okay so on that, what would be the interest:)?
[Loan Agent] and you would be in a 24 month term 8% interest and payments of $293 amonth
[Loan Agent] and you could pay it off at any time
[Visitor] so it's 8% per month based on the total amount loaned I presume. It does not decrease with balance due then?
[Loan Agent] 8% a month
[Visitor] As you indicate 8% a month, I again will presume that is based onthe total loan amount from inception and does not reflect based on balance due as it would decrease significantly monthly if 8% on the actual current balance. I presume this is not the case which would mean the total loan on 3000.00 is truly 5760.00 which is essentially 50%?! lol that's funny. I do appreciate your time and see why the reviews are what they are. I am a desperate single monther of three, but not that desperate! have a lovely day

I recently traded in my car and paid these absolutly rude people off. In the same week that i traded it in i found out that it is against a federal law to do a title loan to a military person and when i told them that i talked to base legal they said loan mart has to change the interest rate to 36% which is the highest that can be charged to military people for anything they said they would figure out the difference as soon as it was caught up or paid off and refund me the difference and now they wont do it. Who can i turn to?

My experience with this company is unforgettable! I never had such hatred toward a company before. The are so unprofessional and confrontational.I have many times hung up in one of their representative's' face and called backed to take my chances with another. They are QUICK to threatened you and talk to you like they are a loan shark company of some sort.I never could put my finger on it, but now I think about it, I maybe sensed sort racial tension on their part. The comments some of their representative said seemed very personal and degrading.I would recommend anybody NOT to do business with these white collar thugs!

LoanMart / Wheels Financial Group business practice

As most people in this economy, I lost my job and turned to loanmart for a short term loan to pay my rent. I was lucky to have paid off my extremely high interest loan in 25 days. That was 2 months ago and my dealings with them are still not over. I was told when I paid off my loan that the title would be released and sent to me within 15 business days. After 17 business days, I phoned them to find out why I had not received my title. After going through their "automated" phone service, I was directed to the title department voicemail. My call was not returned. I called two additional times and finally got an associate on the phone. I was told my title had not been released and there was no additional explaination. 15 business days later I called again to find out why I had not received my title. Again after leaving many messages for their title department I finally got a live person and asked why I had not received my title. I was assured it would be released that day. I finally received my title after 45 days.

Now my dealings with them have to do with the fact the keys to my vehicle were lost by the third party (Currency exchange) where I signed the documents. Since no key was "received" at the loanmart offices they are not willing to pay to have the locks rekeyed on my vehicle. For all I know, either loanmart or the currency exchange has sold my address and keys to someone! They stated that since no key was received they are under no obligation to reimburse me for this expense. Well according to the contract I signed, I surrendered a key to my vehicle.

This is the most despicable company I have ever dealt with. The customer service people are rude and trying to get a supervisor to assist with answers is as painful as trying to remove your colon through your nose! I urge you not to do business with this company!

I will be filing complaints with the bbb and district attorney along with proceeding with small claims court with both loanmart and the currency exchange.

Please run far away from these thieves.

They are crooks they dont explain the terms clearly they make you think that the interest is one thing and when you sign the contract it is a daily rate which ends up to be 99percent for the year and if you dont pay on the due date more interest is added so the end of the term you will have a ballon payment their reps are rude on the phone and not professional they need to be investigated for loan sharking

I borrowed 5, 000.00 in May of this year(2011) and have made all of my payments on time within the 10 day grace period. I called 5 times to get the payoff amount and NEVER had a phone call returned. I decided to try the live chat and was told that the payoff for my loan was now 5700.00 dollars! In other words I have paid them 455.00 a month for 5 months and I still owe more than the loan amount. I was told that there is a 13.98 dollar per diem fee on the loan. whatever that is!

1800LOANMART is the biggest scam,
I believe if Hulk Hogan really looked into what they charge in interest 97% he would think twice about
putting his GOOD NAME to represent these crooks !. . .
they are taking advantage of those hurting and in need.
The problem with the economy is bad enough,
without LOAN SHARKS like 1800LOANMART
abusing their lending power . . .

LoanMart.com formerly 800LoanMart should be LoanScam. When I applied 5 years ago for a loan they made it sound so easy to get. My loan was initially for $8K, I was not made aware of that the interest compounded daily. 5 years later I have a payoff or over $9K. I have had to sell my car and purchase one from a reputable dealership (at a lower payment) who graciously paid off the loan. My car came in slightly $1K under blue book. Now they say they have not received the funds for the payoff and have taken funds out of my checking account to cover the monthly payment. I am risking financial ruin. The dealership has proven that the funds were sent & received, but LoanMart can not prove that the funds have been received at all. They have documentation that a payoff amount was requested. Now I am under the gun because the payoff date could expire before it is posted which means I risk the possibility of still owing them. Now if I should have an overpayment it will take 10 to 15 business days to return it to me. I am on a daily phone call to them to check on the status of that payment, but it will not help if I have to encumber anymore service charges from my bank for NSF or have to pay on a car I don't even own anymore. I just want this all end.

I was ALMOST hit in my car today by one of your drivers. He was buzzing through the parking lot at Speedway and Wilmont in Tucson, AZ. I was on the main drive-way and had the right-a-way. He came out of the parking lot and pulled right in front of me. He then made a quick left in front of the car coming at him. I was SSssoooo close that you couldn't have put a car between us. I couldn't get his plate number because was gone so quickly. But I can tell you we were on the North east corner of Speedway & Wimont and it was a big truck. Because of this I will make sure to share with friends and family how the event left me truly shaken with my foot bobbing up & down on the gas pedal.

LoanMart is crooked as all hell..You get a small loan...and two years later you still owe thousands..they have different people call family and friends all day long. They are harrassing a disabled person to the point of hospitalization, over money. They stole the car at one point, paid almost a grand to retireive the car, but everyone involved wanted CASH..Even the crooked PD in Riverside County, Jurapa PD ONLY they said to pay. with not ONE unifomred officer onsite., wanted CASH. The tow truck dirver, had the car hidden at his home, the car has not been the same since, They used the car for other purposes, it was empty (fuel tank) it was full when it was taken, the REPO guy knew how the car drove and distinctly said word for word certain characteristics of the vehicle, I asked him, did he drive it..he smiled and said yes..WHY? the seat was pulled all the way forward for a short person, and the music station was on a station we never listen to.. They REPO your car, then when you pay the fees, the guy won't pick up the phone, after many calls, you can't go to the tow yard, because its the mans house! They want to meet you elsewhere with the vehicle, but after many calls, and much money took several hours to get this car back, where were they all afternoon, driving the tank empty, running it over curbs, ..the front end is now out of alignment, the fuel tank was empty, come On? How much dirtier does this entire situation get? The REPO guy said he also works in the office of these crooks too..its all connected somehow..DO NOT GET INVOLVED with these jokers, THEY ARE DISHONEST..you pay your monthly payment, and another letter comes and says, you owe 3 times addl..they screw the paperwork up so bad, that one doesn't end up knowing what they really owe..they send emails..asking to surrender your vehicle..they say they auction it and then you still OWE the difference of what they say they didn't get..how would anyone know what they really received from a fake auction..their auction, I bet! Help, these people need to be run out of business..

i got a loan 3 yrs ago. however loan mart messed up on some paper work and didnt tell me. i found out from the 1st loan i had on the car. loan mart was to pay aprox . 300. and obtain the title . now the 1 st loan put negative points against me. so i paid the $300 and got the tiltle two days later they came to my house threating if i didnt sighn i would get a broken arm. they told me i will lose my car $27, 000 for a $4000 loan and if my daughter was in the car she would be a consilation prize. the harrasment began from day one and hasnt stopped i sold the car they are even geting harrased and threatend...if i make one late payment it would mean all this plus being threatened but when they make a mistake i should forgive it and open the doors to these blood sucking vampires to say and do as they please ...oh ya its civil [censor] loan mart has threatened to kidnap my daughter tear or doors off break my arms called everyone i know and slander me on and on...hell this [censor] has to stop .. so i have filed for a restraining order and now i plan on turning them into the district attorney. the cops all told me this is civil [censor] and [censor] the cops...
