Loot Crate Disappointing Experience with Loot Crate

As someone deeply passionate about pop culture and fandoms, I was excited to try Loot Crate. However, my experience was far from what I expected. The items I received were not only subpar but also seemed unrelated to the themes promised. The long shipping delays and lack of customer support left me feeling frustrated and let down. It's disheartening when a service you look forward to falls short of your expectations. I hope Loot Crate can address these issues and provide a better experience for its customers in the future.

Loot Crate Not my favorite box, but my 11 year old likes it

Loot Crate is a $19.95 (including $6 shipping) monthly subscription box for geeks and gamers. The boxes are themed and it includes things like collectibles, t-shirts, buttons, and stickers. Recent themes have been: Cyber, Unite, Fantasy, Covert and Play. The last 3 themes have really been a miss for us, but we expect July's theme, Heroes 2, to be a better fit for our house. (Loot Crate's Aug. 2014 box theme was Heroes, which we really liked).
It seems like recently a lot of the items are Loot Crate exclusives, so it is often hard to price out. I also feel that the boxes now include a lot of small junk items instead of fewer quality items we used to receive. However my son still enjoys receiving this box, so I think we'll continue our subscription for a couple more months to see if it improves. Although I will say that we recently subscribed to Sports Crate which quickly became my husband and son's favorite subscription box.

Loot Crate Loot crate - Worth it

Two things here

Licensed content - Continuously
Themed crates - This means gaming, anime, other, or general +dx

Those 2 things put Loot Crate above all others.

I have not seen a single crate site that offers these options and this puts them ahead of the rest. Yes, ship dates are a problem. However, none of this stuff will keep you alive so there is no reason for so much hate.

The anger from others stems from being so excited about getting their crate that they get impatient. I understand this isn't a good thing, but how many other sites out there do you get excited for like that?

Yes, customer service SUCKS HARD. I am not even kidding, it sucks. I have ripped their outsourced customer service a new one, repeatedly. HOWEVER, when an item comes in damaged, I GET TAKEN CARE OF. They make it right and they re-shipped my items in a timely and professional manner. Ultimately, this is what we want. To be taken care of when things go wrong.

Loot crate is not perfect. However, its the best out there.

Loot Crate Excellent Customer Service

I love my Lootcrate. It's like a monthly Christmas gift to myself. Thier email customer service team is spectacular. They answer right away. I had a rip in a lootwear socks this month, and sent a picture via email. They immediately sent out a new pair, and sent me the tracking info.
Lootcrate isn't for kids. It's for geeky older teens and adults. I love it, the tshirts are great. Sure, I might not like every franchise they use, but I have lots of geeky and nerdy friends who do, and so I can pass on anything I'm not fond of.
I bought a whole year, and I'm only three months in, and I couldn't be happier.

Loot Crate Got my crate and been going on since 2015

I saw an ad for this while scrolling on my fb feed and for over a week it just kept showing up. So I decided to look into it. I saw you were able to pick from a random set of crates that fit to what you like and I found one. I have so many crates that now they are taking over my closet! I don't need to buy shirts since I get one every month! You get 5 items and I will say 4 items are awesome and most of the time the 5th item is an after thought just thrown in and kinda ok lame, but for the price I've found it's the better one out there. I ordered a few other crates and cancelled them, they cost more and you don't even get a shirt just a bunch of cheap crap. Or a box that someone looked like they went through a garage sale and sent you those items.
So from trial and error this lootbox is the best. If your issue is with shipping it clearly states they charge you early in the month around the 5th you get your item sent around the 22nd. So there is some wait.
Yes 95% of the time you get an email with tracking information. I've had to contact customer service and I have yet had an issue some times the wait time is longer but I get that auto email first then an actual person within the next few days. All my issues were resolved. I think this is a great box, my lootbox might not appeal to little little kids most items I keep in boxes and such. But they have so many other boxes to pick from. I love the shirts (I'm a girl and order the male shirts) I wear them all the time. I do wish they would stick to one brand because some are so soft and stretch lovely while other shirts seem stiff.

Loot Crate How to stop auto pay

There may be a way for all of you who are getting Auto billed after you unsubscribe. To recover the money and stop it from happening to others as well. When I saw the commercial on TV. I figured it was probably some kind of gag so I checked the internet seeing all of your complaints. But this building your credit cards even temporary cards after you told them not to. May be easy to stop. Now I cannot give you legal advice but I might make a suggestion to all of you. 1 is file a complaint with the federal consumer complaint agency and your state consumer affairs agency. But first call your credit card company or your bank whichever their billing tell them that you have not authorize these charges almost all credit cards agencies have a unauthorized billing procedure. As a consumer when I see these complaints myself they seem to me to be credit fraud by the company. Now that's my own opinion and not a statement of legal facts. But I had some bizarre things happen with Amazon that borderlines worse than you guys have experienced and I'm still trying to straighten out my digital record after they screwed up my credit card and a few other major issues that have the same my digital character and all the actions on this account where their responsibility but that's another story I'm currently telling people to boycott Amazon and use eBay for jet at least if you have major problems you won't have your account shut down and more than likely have your character defamed by false accusations when Amazon computer screwed my account up so much that for three months I couldn't get an order out and every order I give yet was damaged or missing things eventually my account was shut down and I lost quite a bit because of these people I'm currently still trying to recover damages but unfortunately I lost the temporary cards activation number so Amazon and got away with it. So far. But as for this company. You people who have told them to remove your subscription and keep getting your account build you do have recourse and it will be pretty fast in solution. File complaint with your credit company first or your bank let them know that this is something they can check on the internet. To see that this is a common and possibly intentional practice by the company that's billing you. ECT... I'm kind of surprised that some of you never thought of this already butt I could tell this was a Shady operation when I saw the commercial in my opinion of course. And checking the internet I found out through all of you that I was probably right. Now I may not be able to do anything at this time about what Amazon scams did to me. Butt maybe my advice can help some of you. Just so all of you know that Amazon has 39 complaints registered over the last two years with the business consumer Alliance Group and have not answered as of January of last year any complaints against it. And have forced me to seek legal counsel to recover my digital reputation and defamation of my character.! And have refused to respond in any way to my complaints I'm stealing my ideas for advertising and having its computer take money out of my account order is being processed repeatedly for three months. Period making my digital records messed up behind comprehension and possibly my reputation severely damaged by their actions and their refusal to correct issues and list them properly. And being a missionary I have virtually no resources to pay an attorney to get back my reputation although my case is well-documented both digitally and with records recordings ECT. At this time Amazon probably owes me at least $10,000 for stealing my advertising idea using it and then refusing to respond for my request to take it down until they compensated not only have they destroyed my reputation and digitally and my honesty is the most important part of my life now that my Foundation is set up and operating their digital screw-ups could have backed its reputation as well. I hope that my ideas for you people out there. Will help you avoid things like this there problems you're having with this company Loot Crate. And remember some basics before ordering from a company do some checking like I just did with this one. If more people did that companies like this wouldn't have the money to advertise to scam the world if that's what they're intending to do. Only only you the public know if you leave you were skin door not since I've never shop with this company I can have no opinion about loot crate's activities. Other than if what I read is true these things that I suggested are things that I would do mediately if I were the consumer that made the complaints. Remember I cannot give legal advice because I am not an attorney. Nor is this meant to be any suggestions other than my personal opinion. Issues I've experienced in the past myself and steps I've taken to correct issues similar to the ones I see Happening Here according to the consumer complaints. I do know that the state and federal agencies that deal with consumer issues are very good at their jobs Aldo under state level they usually don't have enforcement capabilities of the law s retain pertaining to these issues but if enough complaints were filed with state and federal Offices something could get accomplished more than likely. If you'd like to know more about the charity that we have just started we have big plans for helping people around the world and starting spiritually neutral classes in schools Nationwide to help people find their true spiritual format without religious ties but with self-improvement an understanding of who they are and what they're capable of in a non material sense of existence. If you'd like to know more about this Grand idea and possibly become involved we have a $1 donation drive going on! We don't believe that you should be paying a month mysterious picture which I personally have heard it many times duplicated two different individuals the same pictures exedra all Charities that we promote will have to follow a set of guidelines that are like it used to be instead of 4 profit of individual agents within the organization we will only be using what is necessary four basic needs and promoting traveling mobile feeding services and even a fund 4 people who may need Legal Services but have no resources to pay for the initial attorney fees to start a case. At this time we have three main goals to get a charity registration list that can be checked by anyone at anytime dad has agreed to give services is there at least 98% of their funds donated for charitable purposes by people are actually produced to the people they're supposed to be serving and not themselves ECT Charities should give services to promote and start schools in the United States and possibly other countries that gather all spiritual data and teach all ancient cultures knowledge on an individual basis based on the person and their spiritual abilities and enhancements and we believe that are dollar sponsors are just as important if not more important then in 1995 a month sponsor blah blah blah... Our goal drive right now is to find volunteers to help with computer issues ECT. Generate ideas and help us find Charities that need exposure to the public Nationwide and worldwide our goal is to become the largest charity oversight Commission on the planet I've seen how some of these Charities operate on a global scale and I've been kind of insulted by watching One feeding organizations say that this woman child can't eat until you sponsor her and then in the background you see them getting Oliver Twist style food from the workhouse and that's where your millions of dollars are buying and actually feeding to the starving what's really going on with your millions of dollars donations I'm sure these people are eating this slop they're feeding to there Outreach programs. Loot Crate None delivery of my crate

Hello,

I ordered 3 crates, November 2021,The Bleach crate which after almost a year, my bleach sweater (was supposed to be mailed separately but not received) I received, a hello kitty & friends mini ( i got) and a hello kitty full crate, I have not received the big hello kitty box, I have contacted them numerous times, either I don't get a reply at all, or it's a basic check the delay page. ( which it's not there )

Even the order status says only partially fulfilled.

Last time I emailed was Sept 15, 2023 and still not a word.

Now I remember why I stopped buying from them years ago, awful quality, always late and awful costumer service.

Thank you for taking my complaint as this has gone long enough!

Ordered nov 2021, bleach box/ & Hoodie ( didnt get hoodie ), Hello Kitty and friends Welcome box (recieved) and a full Hello Kitty and friends ( not recieved).

I've tried to contact you guys multiple times over nearly two years, I was patient during covid delays, as I understood. Now it's gone on way to long and the delays aren't on the page anymore (LC1103514) is my order number, even on the page it says only partially fulfilled. Most of the items even in the special bleach crate was trash and super cheap unfortunately so that was already upsetting enough as is. Now I never get a reply from you guys and i space out my emails so I don't spam you guys, only tines I ever got replies was to send me the delay page.

So, this needs to be fixed, I don't want new crates anymore I simply at this point want a refund preferably for everything as it's all garbage, but that won't happen, so I just want a refund for the missing items.

I really tried to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and work with you but you've proved you care about money over quality and costumer service.

Look forward to hearing from you to resolve this.

Loot Crate Batman Heritage Capsule collection

Ordered this crate on 17.09.2021

Knowing they had delays in postage due to Covid I let it go for a while. Upon checking my order status on 8.8.2022 I come to find that they have cancelled the order with no communication and no refund.

I have contacted them online, yet to get a response.

But continue to receive emails saying my payment has been declined (for a different subscription) as they no long accept PayPal, even though I have repeatedly requested to cancel.

Loot Crate Three orders not received from 2021 and 2022

LC1050447 Crucible purchased Oct 2021

LC1203534 Raid purchased Jan 2022

Never shipped - no info ever received.

Emailed many times told all due for shipment February/March 2022 but no updates and NO orders!

These destiny loot crates are no longer on the Covid update pages and Destiny is no longer listed as a loot crate option.

I will accept no more excuses/delays

The support ticket to make a claim does not work either!

Loot Crate I wanted one "crate" over a year ago

I ordered a single lootcrate scifi to get a star trek package. I then canceled the account so I would not get charged again for things I am not interested in. I've now been charged for three separate boxes and canceled each time. We're over 120 dollars for something I didn't want in the first place. My phone number is 219.779.5020. I expect a call.

Desired outcome: I want a refund. This company charged me over 120 dollars to throw their trash away. I want it back. Starting with order #LC1141896. I leave every interaction with this company thinking I've finally canceled my account.

Loot Crate Britney Spears Baby One More Time Fashion Doll

Ordered back in October 2020. Item was due to ship Spring 2021, pushed back to Autumn 2021 and then no updates after. As of 2022, it looked as though the doll would finally be dispatched in June 2022 but as of May 2022, the production of the doll has been cancelled. Lootcrate has failed to notify customers and instead of doing the proper thing and issuing everyone with refunds, is now claiming items of equal value will be sent out instead. I did not ask for anything other than the doll and I do not want any substitutions. I have asked for a refund of the $49.99 and am being met with nothing but excuses.

Hello, the exact same thing happened to me, I have proof of everything and the email communication which leads nowhere, I have given up on my money and accepted that this kind of companies are allowed to operate in the US and rob thousands of people on the planet and not be held accountable for it. Too bad this is allowed to happen and no one can do anything about it.

Loot Crate NO CRATES for months BUT charging my credit card!!!!

I have emailed once a week asking for update then after they kept charging me I politely asked for a refund.

I would like a full refund for all my items I have not received which would be two loot crates at 60.00 and 5 months of loot socks. I have ben patient and waited long enough, there is no known date to get the boxes and at this time birthdays and Christmas have long gone and quite dissatisfied with this whole mess.

As you can read below I have asked for a refund on all the past crates and loot wear and instead of refunding me you charged me AGAIN! This is unacceptable! I would like the refund asap please!

Loot Crate Orders Never Fulfilled

Ordered a 4 part subscription back in September that they have since charged me 3 times for and I still haven't gotten any update on the original crate. That's 9 months now and they planned on taking another $50 on the 15th of this month, along with sending me 20 promotional emails a week about new crates they're pushing. I've contacted multiple times on different platforms with constant reassurance that it's coming, but at this point, and with their reputation that seems untrue.

Desired outcome: Full refunds AS WELL AS sending the product everybody has been waiting for for months, but refund would suffice if thats too hard.

Loot Crate unauthorized credit card charges

They re subscribed me and charged my credit card without permission! This was before I even received my last crate so I was not even given the opportunity to cancel my subscription. This wasn't even my first problem I have had with them. They are slow to respond and send an automated answer. They boast 400 employees (according to the BBB) but have terrible customer service.
The BBB has opened an investigation on the firm "due to the amount of inquiries we have received" They filed for Chapter 11 for reorganization on 8/11/2019. It is case number 19-11791. I would like to encourage everyone to look on the BBB webpage for more information.

Loot Crate automated shipping

Loot vault and loot crate state on their site that shipping to the uk for orders of $50 to $74.99 is charged at $5. My order came to $59.97 so I expected the shipping to cost $5 as stated on their site, however their site automatically selected ‘standard shipping 5' which charges $22.50 I contacted them immediately and repeatedly to have this rectified but their ‘advisors' kept responding that ‘taxes and duties are the responsibility of the recipient ‘ I know this, I told them repeatedly it was THEIR SITE which had charged me this shipping and nothing to do with duties etc. I am exhausted, disgusted and appalled with this fiasco.

Loot Crate subscription

I bought a subscription last year for someone. Out of the 12 months they have received only 4. I canceled the subscription but somehow they where able to charge me another full year back on June 1 I disputed the charge which somehow they got my bank to reverse the charge even though they used an expired debit card to get the money. Since the June 10 I have been told they would refund my money. Once I had proved my bank reversed the chargeback. Did that they kept making one excuse after another. Here we are almost two solid months later and they still keep giving one excuse after another. Now they have stopped answering my emails. 200 dollars they are the biggest rip off ever. I will blow their emails up and give them the worst reviews I can. I refuse to loose two hundred dollars to this company

Loot Crate mlb sports crate subscription

I've been waiting since February for 2 boxes and April for 2 boxes then they send me emails about not going to be on time with June boxes. Loot Crate loot underwear

I ordered a 12 month subscription paid in full for a year. I've contacted Lootcrate multiple times since it's been months and still no undies. Every time I contact them, they give some BS excuse as to why I haven't gotten any crates yet like, "Oh your crate has been delayed a month." And they keep doing that over and over and over. This is ridiculous. Their company should be shut down. This is mail fraud. You can't promise to ship something to someone for money and then you don't have it. They are the biggest scam. Never order anything from them unless you love flushing money down the toilet.

Loot Crate unfilled subscription

I paid $135.80 for my annual subscription in October 2018. MLB Sports Crates were supposed to ship in February 2019 and April 2019, but haven't - themes are Spring Training & Opening Day. They keep postponing the dates citing "vendor/inventory issues."

They also save customer personal information (e..g, credit card), but do not make it accessible to the customer.

When queried they give canned/prescripted responses.

They ignore requests to be put in contact with senior management.

Loot Crate fraudulent credit card charge

I had cancelled my bi monthly subscription and loot crate charged me for a 6 month subscription that i never signed up for. They somehow convinced my bank to make the charge stand after i went to USAA to dispute their charge. There is no number given to reach anyone, and I had finished my business with loot crate. I submitted a service request with them and will be contacting the BBB about this if my refund is not issued within the week.

Loot Crate product

I've just received my March Cosmic box and I am very disappointed to see that I have received a top that I already have! It's says it's meant to be a Mystery Cosmic Tee yet I have received the blue office space tee that I got from a previous box!. My boyfriend received the same box yet he got a new top! I would either like an refund or I would like the top I'm supposed to have! This is unacceptable! I pay £25 a month for this I expect something different each month!.

Loot Crate dx

I have reached out to them several times and gotten Robo messages back saying that it will get to me as soon as possible. It's now March 3 and still haven't received my February order. I subscribed to them a couple years back and never had a problem but now all there is is problems with frustration getting a hold of anyone obviously this company doesn't know what they're doing anymore and I advise anyone not to go through them for anything! Worst company ever coming from a business owner and I deal with companies on a daily basis.!

Loot Crate loot vault delivery

I ordered several items in October of 2018. I have yet to receive half that order. I have inquired numerous times and have been given your crappy robo message that its going to take another 4-6 weeks. I have been waiting 4 months already. Now you say you will refund me. I will be surprised if I ever see my money again. This company is terrible and should be ashamed of the way they treat customers. Im sure this wont matter, because you will probably go out of business soon.
