Lowes.ca Anti Customer Actions

I have become dissatisfied with the following actions taken by Lowes:

1. I am a veteran and cannot get my veteran status updated. The person filling out the application misspelled my name as well as using MS. instead of MR. Consequently I cannot get veteran discount. Seemly it is convenient for Lowes to do nothing to correct.

2. It is amazing to me that Lowes would turnover to Synchrony Bank the billing of purchases from Lowes and let them charge 1.99 for paper statement fee without give you any other options. This does not surprise me as Synchrony is not a customer friendly bank.

Recommendation: Be sure of the financial arrangement before you purchase.

Lowes.ca Poor Customer Service and Communication: My Experience with Lowes.ca

I recently made a purchase on Lowes.ca for an over the range microwave. The website showed that there were 22 pieces in stock and that it would take 1 week for delivery to the Kanata store. I decided to call the appliance department at the Kanata store to confirm the stock and was told that they were in stock at a Lowes warehouse in the Toronto area. The representative assured me that it would take only 1 week to get it on a regular truck to the Kanata store for pickup.

However, after waiting for a month, I still had not received any updates on my order. I tried to contact the customer service department through emails and messages, but I received no response. Finally, after a month, my microwave arrived at the store. I understand that they might be busy, but the total lack of communication was offensive.

To make matters worse, when I went to the Kanata store to pick up my order, I had to wait for over 40 minutes for the staff to find it in the back of the store. The customer service counter kid couldn't remember who she asked to pull the stock, and couldn't speed up the process even after 30 minutes of waiting. There were more staff in the half-empty store than customers, but still, I had to wait too long. It seemed like no one there cared about my time or my order.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca. The lack of communication and poor customer service made me feel like my order was not important to them. I will not be making any future purchases from them.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca Fails to Deliver: A Disappointing Experience with Customer Service and Online Purchasing

So, I was looking for a snowblower and stumbled upon Lowes.ca. They had a deal online for one item available, so I tried to purchase it. However, it said none were available. I went back to the website and it changed to one available, so I called the store to confirm. They said there was one available, but I couldn't purchase it over the phone. I went back online to purchase it, but once again, I couldn't complete the purchase. My husband is ill, and it's an hour away, so we needed delivery. Customer service at the head office said they couldn't fix it.

We went back on their website, and this time, there were seven snowblowers available. We paid for one and paid for delivery as well. A few days later, we received an email saying they had none available and canceled our order! I called head office again, and they said there were none available and couldn't help us. We were so disheartened by Lowes.

We demanded a full refund, and if they didn't comply, we would call our lawyer. We were so disappointed with Lowes that we gave them a rating of 000. We didn't want to hear their apologies.

Luckily, we found an even better deal at Home Hardware and picked it up today. Thank you, Home Hardware!

Lowes.ca Nightmare Experience with Lowes.ca Kitchen Department - Don't Make the Same Mistake I Did!

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about my experience with Lowes.ca. I was really excited to get my new kitchen all set up, so I worked with the kitchen department back in July of 2021. They told me it would take about 10 weeks to get everything delivered and installed, so I was like, "cool, let's do this!" I paid in full to place the order, and they told me it would be 10-12 weeks until everything arrived.

Well, 13 weeks later, the cabinets finally showed up. And when the inspector/installer came to put everything in place two weeks after that, he realized he had measured my kitchen wrong. So the 18" and 9" cabinets I had ordered had to be replaced with 15" and 6" cabinets. And get this - I didn't even get a refund for the difference in price! So we had to wait another three months for the new cabinets to arrive.

And then, when the installer finally came back to put everything in place, he messed up and put a handle hole in the wrong spot. So now we have to wait even longer for a new door to be ordered. It's been a whole year since I paid for my kitchen, and it's still not done. I've tried reaching out to the Lowes kitchen team, but I haven't heard anything back.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using Lowes for any kitchen projects, especially if you need them to measure and install everything. It's been a total nightmare for me, and I don't want anyone else to have to go through this.

Lowes.ca Disappointing Experience with Lowes.ca: Scratched Tiles and Cancelled BBQ Order

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Lowes.ca. I decided to take the plunge and order a couple things online, and boy was that a mistake. First off, I ordered 70 high polished ceramic tiles that were supposed to be 12 by 24. When I went to pick them up curbside, half of the tiles were just loose with no box or anything to hold them together. And to make matters worse, they were all scratched up! I was so disappointed.

But that's not even the worst part. I also ordered a BBQ, which I was super excited about. I ordered it on the day the flyer came out, and there were only 2 available at the store. My credit card was charged right away, but then 10 days later the BBQ charge was cancelled! I was so confused, so I called the store to figure out what was going on. They told me that my order wasn't actually cancelled, but it was taking longer because I had ticked the box for free assembly. I told them I could put it together myself if it was taking this long, and the lady said that was fine.

But then ANOTHER week goes by, and I get a message saying that my order is now cancelled because they don't have any BBQs of that stock item available in Ottawa. What the heck?! I'm starting to think that Lowes doesn't actually have any of the items they advertise in stock. It's really disappointing.

I've also noticed that when Lowes does advertise something, they usually have very little or no quantity of the item available on the first day of the flyer at the area stores. It's really frustrating. I didn't realize that Lowes had so many complaints until I started looking into it. I would definitely think twice before ordering anything from them again.

Lowes.ca Disappointing Experience with Lowes.ca: Poor Communication and Inventory Management

Last year, during the mid-covid pandemic, I bought a shower surround from Lowes.ca for my own home. The product was listed as in stock, with an estimated ship date a few weeks out. I didn't think it would be a problem, so I placed my order.

However, a month after the estimated ship date, I still hadn't received my shower surround. I decided to call Lowes customer service to find out what was going on. After being on hold for what felt like an eternity, I finally got through to someone. They told me that many of their products ship directly from the manufacturer, such as companies like MAAX. The problem was that the product I ordered hadn't even been manufactured yet!

Lowes said they would find out more information and get back to me, but they never did. I called them a few more times, but still no luck. Frustrated, I decided to call MAAX directly. They weren't happy about it, as they only sell wholesale and not directly to consumers. But eventually, I found out that my shower surround was being scheduled for shipping the following week. Three weeks later, I finally received it - two months after the estimated ship date.

As a contractor and carpenter, I had a client who wanted a shower door from Lowes. Despite my warnings, they insisted on ordering it from Lowes. I placed the order and gave them two months to ship it. But when I emailed to inquire about its status, all I got was an "order cancelled" notification along with a refund, citing "low stock". Now, I have to source another shower door for my client and wait for it to ship.

Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with Lowes.ca. Their online store is nothing more than a glorified Shopify store. I will never do business with them again. It's frustrating to deal with a company that doesn't communicate properly and doesn't have their products in stock. I hope they improve their customer service and inventory management in the future.

Lowes.ca Terrible Customer Service and Delays: My Experience with Lowes.ca

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Lowes.ca. I ordered something on April 12th and it was supposed to come on April 17th, but it didn't show up. I waited a few days and then I reached out to them to see what was going on. They told me to wait until the end of the week, but when that came and went with no package, I was pretty frustrated.

I decided to email them again on April 25th and they told me they had to put a trace on the package and it could take up to 7 days. I waited the full 7 days and then I called them up to see what was going on. I was on hold for 45 minutes before I finally got to talk to someone. They told me that they couldn't do anything until the trace was completed, which could take another 7 to 10 days.

I was pretty upset at this point because I had a project to finish and I needed the stuff I ordered. I asked for a refund so I could buy the stuff somewhere else, but they said they couldn't do anything until the trace was completed. I asked to speak to a manager, but they told me there were no managers available and that someone would call me back within 24 hours.

It took them 36 hours to call me back and when they did, they told me they should have an update by Monday or Tuesday. They wouldn't give me a refund or do anything to make up for the terrible customer service I had received. They did admit that they had handled the situation poorly, but that didn't really help me out at all.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca. The customer service was terrible and it took way too long to get any kind of resolution. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca's Lack of Customer Service and COVID-19 Policies: A Frustrating Experience

I recently had an experience with Lowes.ca that left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. I visited the Lowes Manning store in Edmonton to purchase a holesaw. I found what I needed and asked the cashier if I could return it if it turned out to be too small. The cashier assured me that it would not be a problem. However, when I got home, I realized that the holesaw was indeed too small. So, I decided to order the larger one online for store pick up.

I waited for hours for my order to be ready, but when I went back to the store before closing time, I was told that they had not received my order. I was frustrated, but I decided to return the holesaw that I had purchased earlier that day. However, I was told that I could not return items during the COVID-19 crisis. I was shocked and confused. How could they be open to sell items but not take them back? I asked the manager for an explanation, but she could not give me one.

I was extremely frustrated and said a few things that I probably shouldn't have. But, I couldn't understand why they couldn't take the holesaw back. I had to buy the correct size, so I had to come back to the store anyway. Why couldn't they take the other one back? It felt like they were using the COVID-19 pandemic to hold onto my money. This is unacceptable and a total lack of capable management. I don't understand how Lowes can get away with this.

To make matters worse, Lowes insists on not using a "tap" type debit machine. This just proves that Lowes is nothing more than a money-grubbing rip-off artist that is just as irresponsible as the CCP government of China! I am extremely disappointed in Lowes and their lack of customer service. I urge everyone to boycott Lowes until they change their policies and start treating their customers with respect.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca's Poor Customer Care: Delayed Refund for Lost Item

So, I had an experience with Lowes.ca that was not so great. I ordered two glass window inserts for my patio doors on January 13th. However, when UPS arrived on January 17th, they only left one of the packages, even though the packing slip noted that it was package one of two. I was pretty upset about this, so I called Lowes.ca support to see what they could do. Unfortunately, they told me that they couldn't give me a credit or send another unit until UPS had completed their "investigation," which could take up to three weeks! I argued that my contract was with Lowes and that their contract performance issue with UPS was not my problem. However, I didn't get any satisfaction from them.

After about 10 days, I was able to see on the UPS tracking site that they had completed their investigation and considered the item lost. They advised that they would inform the shipper of the outcome. So, I called Lowes again and asked where my refund was. They said they had not yet been notified by UPS of the outcome and couldn't process it. I explained that it was shown right on their tracking site that the item was lost, so if they hadn't heard that from UPS, maybe they should contact them and confirm. However, they seemed unwilling to do that and instead said they had to wait until UPS contacted them.

I waited for another week and a half and then called Lowes again. This was my fourth half-hour phone call with them! This time, I seemed to get someone who had some common sense and promised to follow through. He did, and I finally got the refund on February 20th - more than a month after the item went missing. Clearly, the last person I talked to finally took the initiative to contact UPS since the UPS claim was finally initiated that same day! It could have been initiated three weeks earlier. So, they would have just waited - for how long? - letting me twist in the wind?! Clearly, customer care is not a priority with Lowes.ca.

Lowes.ca Terrible Experience with Lowes.ca Delivery: No Guaranteed Delivery Date and Poor Customer Service

I made a purchase on Lowes.ca on June 2nd, 2022. The website informed me that I would receive my item within 7 to 10 business days. However, when I did not receive my item within that timeframe, I decided to call customer service to see where my item was. I spoke to a few representatives who told me that my item would either arrive in two days or within a week. I was not satisfied with their answers, so I escalated the issue to a supervisor.

To my surprise, the supervisor informed me that there was no guaranteed delivery within 7 to 10 days of purchase. Instead, the delivery timeframe was 7 to 10 days from the delivery date. This was not what I was informed or read when I purchased the item. I expressed my frustration to the supervisor, asking why anyone would buy an item without knowing the delivery date. The conversation was really ridiculous, but eventually, the supervisor gave me a date when my item was shipped out and the date when I would receive it, which was June 28th.

However, as of July 3rd, I still have not received my item. I had hired a contractor to redo my washroom, and he was supposed to install the door that I purchased from Lowes.ca. I had everything organized around the delivery date, so it's costing me an additional $100.00 or more to have him come back and install the door when I finally receive it.

I have gone back and forth with customer service, and I have received all kinds of different answers. Some representatives were shocked that I had not received my item yet, while others told me that it should arrive within the next two days. Some even told me that my item had been lost, so I really have no idea what's going on. All I know is that I really wanted this item, and it's frustrating that I still haven't received it.

Now, I received an email asking me to rate my experience with Lowes.ca. Obviously, I cannot give a rating to something that I have not received. This experience has been very frustrating for me, and I still want this item. I wish someone had been honest with me from the beginning. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I'll try one more phone call next week and see what excuse I get this time. This was my first time using Lowes.ca, and it has been a very bad and horrible experience.

Lowes.ca Warning: Poor Workmanship and Lack of Professionalism by Lowe's Authorized Installers

I recently bought some laminate flooring from Lowe's Abbotsford, BC, which came with a 30-year warranty and was supposed to be installed by Lowe's authorized installers. Unfortunately, the laminate turned out to be substandard, with peeling already visible in the box. Thankfully, Lowe's was quick to resolve the issue and replaced it with better quality flooring.

However, things went downhill from there. The authorized installers turned out to be a dad, his young son, and the son's friend. The dad was only present for about three hours over the course of five days, leaving the young boys to do most of the work. As a result, some of my furniture was damaged due to careless handling, and some of it was left outside overnight in the rain, causing weather damage.

To make matters worse, the installers used a saw inside, leaving everything covered in sawdust. They also mixed the self-leveling compound inside, spattering it on walls, cabinets, furniture, and floors. One transition strip was not properly glued down, and they chipped door frames and corners of walls from careless handling of furniture. They even moved furniture from the walls in the living room and left it piled up for the entire time, without repositioning it as they would need to move it again to do the baseboards.

As a 70-year-old, I found myself blocked in my bedroom by a sofa across the doorway, which caused me to hurt my back climbing over it. I had to go to the ER, get an X-ray and CT scan, and had no access to my kitchen or shoe cupboard for four days. I even had to go barefoot to McDonald's to get something to eat. It was the careless, "we don't care" attitude exhibited by their behavior that makes me feel the installers were not professional or customer-service oriented.

I brought this to the attention of Lowe's in Abbotsford and ProInstallers Inc head office on August 6, but it is now September 4, and I am yet to be contacted with a resolution. I strongly recommend that if you use Lowe's Abbotsford, you do not use their installers. One of the reasons I had gone through Lowe's was to avoid having to deal with two companies, but I have to admit, Lowe's has let me down in this respect.

Take a look at the photos below. Would you believe they had a strong work ethic or pride in their work, leaving my home like this? It's a shame that Lowe's has not taken responsibility for their authorized installers' poor workmanship and lack of professionalism.

Lowes.ca Terrible Online Experience with Lowes.ca - Rona is the Way to Go!

I used to go to Lowes store to buy stuff and never had any problems. But last week, I tried to buy something online from lowes.ca and it was the worst experience ever! First of all, there was a limit on the number of items I could order. What kind of nonsense is that? And then, the inventory was all messed up and apparently updated by the vendor. How am I supposed to know what's available and what's not? And to top it off, there was no follow-up on the status of my order. I had to find out everything myself. And don't even get me started on the carrier not providing any tracking information. What kind of service is that?

To make matters worse, my order was canceled and I still haven't received my money back. This is unacceptable! On the other hand, I placed the exact same order on Rona's website and received it within 48 hours. That's what I call service! And even when one of my three orders was canceled by Rona, they returned my money within 24 hours of cancelation. That's how you do business!

I will never ever buy anything online from Lowes again. Rona is the way to go. They are very professional and know how to treat their customers.

Lowes.ca Disappointing Experience with Lowes.ca: Cancelled Order and Poor Customer Service

I ain't gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca. I was in desperate need of a new garden hose after mine started leaking like crazy, so I put in an order on June 13th. I waited patiently for a few weeks, but by July 2nd I was getting antsy and decided to reach out to customer service to see what was up. They told me that "COVID" was causing some delays, which I guess I can understand, but it still sucked to hear.

Fast forward to today, July 13th, and I finally got an email back from Lowes.ca. But it wasn't good news - they straight up cancelled my order with no explanation. What the heck, man? Now my poor hose has FOUR holes in it and I gotta wait another two weeks just to get my money back. This is some serious BS.

To make matters worse, I had a similar experience with Rona not too long ago. They held onto my money for a whole month, had terrible customer service, and then just cancelled my order out of nowhere. I'm starting to think that these big box stores just don't care about their customers anymore.

I order stuff online all the time from all sorts of different places, and I gotta say, Lowes.ca is by far the worst experience I've ever had. I mean, come on, blaming it on being an "essential service"? That's just a cop-out. If you have any other options, I highly recommend avoiding Lowes.ca at all costs.

Lowes.ca Terrible Customer Service Experience with Lowes.ca: Damaged Door and No Real Solution Provided

I recently purchased a door from Lowes.ca and unfortunately, it was not up to par. After installation, we noticed that one of the handles was glued on at the wrong angle (you can see in the attached picture). The very next day, the other handle completely detached because there was not enough glue used during installation. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the situation, so I decided to call Lowes customer service to see if they could help me out.

To my dismay, the customer service experience was absolutely terrible. I was put on hold for an incredibly long time and was transferred multiple times before finally being told that because the doors were already installed, they could only offer me a 10% discount. I was shocked and upset that Lowes did not seem to care about their customers and their satisfaction. I was left with damaged doors and no real solution to the problem.

To make matters worse, when I tried to leave a review on their website detailing my experience, Lowes refused to post it with the note that it did not meet their website guidelines. I was appalled that they would not allow me to share my honest experience with other potential customers.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca. As a company that claims to prioritize exceptional customer service, they fell far short of my expectations. I would not recommend purchasing from them in the future.

Lowes.ca Poor Customer Service Experience at Lowes.ca

I went to Lowes.ca with my wife on June 29, 2020, at around 9:00 am. We visited the store located at 800 Warden Avenue. While I was busy looking for the items I wanted to purchase, my wife decided to sit at one of the patio displays. However, one of the employees approached her and asked her not to sit there. My wife complied with the request, but what bothered me was that the employee only singled out my wife, even though there were other customers sitting there as well.

To make matters worse, the same employee approached my wife again and asked her if she had a problem. This made my wife feel like she was being treated like a threat, which was completely uncalled for. I was disappointed with the employee's behavior and found it to be very arrogant. I hope that the management at Lowes.ca will take the necessary steps to teach their employees how to treat customers with respect.

We came to the store to buy the items we needed, not to be harassed. It's important for employees to understand that customers are the backbone of any business, and they should be treated with the utmost respect. I hope that Lowes.ca will take this matter seriously and ensure that their employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Lowes.ca and hope that they will take the necessary steps to improve their customer service in the future.

Lowes.ca Poor Customer Service Experience at Lowes.ca - Stick with Home Depot Instead

Me and my old man went to Lowes.ca last week to get some tiles and flooring for our crib. We looked around for some sales staff but couldn't find anyone, so we rang a bell to get some help. We waited for a bit and heard an announcement asking for a store associate to come to our section. After 20 minutes, someone finally showed up but they were already helping another customer and seemed pretty stressed out. We decided to bounce and headed over to Home Depot to get what we needed.

I had a question about a bathroom vanity this morning and decided to hit up Lowes.ca's website for some help. I asked if they had it in stock at the Hyde park, London Store and gave them the reference number. But the response I got was that my question wasn't clear. I don't know what part of my question they didn't understand, so I sent another one asking them to clarify.

Honestly, the customer service at Lowes.ca is pretty whack. It's like they don't even care about helping their customers out. We had a bad experience in-store and now I'm having trouble getting a simple question answered online. I think I'll stick with Home Depot from now on.

Lowes.ca Disappointing Experience with Lowes.ca: Out of Stock and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Lowes.ca. I mean, seriously, do they ever have anything in stock? My wife and I have been trying to find some stuff for our home renovation project, and we've checked out 7 different stores within delivery distance of our place. And you know what? On 5 separate occasions, we couldn't find any of the items we were looking for. What a waste of time!

And don't even get me started on the employees. They act like we're carrying the plague or something. Every time we go into the store, they scatter like ants into the aisles. And don't even bother trying to talk to the so-called "customer service" desk. Those folks are just plain rude and ignorant. All we want is to be treated like customers, not like COVID-19 carriers.

It's bad enough that places like Canadian Tire and Home Hardware treat their customers like cattle at the front door. But to add insult to injury, we have to drive all over town trying to find something that's supposedly in stock, only to come up empty-handed. What a joke!

Honestly, if Lowes.ca doesn't want our business, they should just shut down and let Ace Hardware and Harbor Freight Tools come in and do the damn job right. At least they know how to treat their customers with respect and dignity.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca Review: Don't Bother - Terrible Customer Service and No Delivery

I gotta tell ya, if you're thinking about ordering from Lowes.ca, you might wanna think again. I ordered a small freezer on April 14th, and the website said it would be available on April 24th. But guess what? It never showed up! So I sent an email to Lowes on April 28th, and they got back to me pretty quick with a case number and a promise to follow up within 48 hours. But did they follow up? Nope. Not even a little bit.

So I sent follow-up emails for a whole week, and still nothing. Then I tried calling, but I waited on hold for TWO HOURS and nobody answered. Can you believe that? I even tried calling the USA line, but the guy who answered couldn't access the CAD orders. What a mess.

Finally, I tried the chat function, but the wait time was 92 minutes! Can you imagine waiting that long just to talk to someone? I sure can't. And the worst part is, I still have no idea if I'm ever gonna get my freezer. I've got a quarter beef coming in three weeks, and I don't know where I'm gonna put it!

Look, I don't usually write reviews, but I'm so mad about this that I had to share. If you're thinking about shopping at Lowes.ca, don't bother. It's just not worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Best Buy instead. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca: A Bunch of Jerks Who Don't Care About Customer Service

I ordered some stuff from Lowes.ca on May 6, 2020. I cancelled it in store at Burlington Ontario four days later. But guess what? Lowes charged my credit card for the cancelled order. I was so mad! I talked to customer service to get my refund, but they said I was never charged. What a bunch of baloney! I sent them evidence five times showing I was charged. But they still didn't believe me. So I went to the Burlington location with proof, but still no refund. The store even called head office with evidence in hand, but still no refund. What a bunch of jerks!

I asked the assistant store manager to look into the refund. He said he would call me in a couple of days. But he never did! I even sent him an email to follow up, but he still didn't reply. What a bunch of lazy bums! I was so fed up with Lowes that I opened a case with PayPal. PayPal contacted Lowes and I had my refund in an hour. Can you believe it? I had to go through all that trouble just to get my money back.

I learned my lesson though. Lowes will only give a refund if they're forced to do so. They don't care about customer service or doing what's right. They're just a bunch of greedy pigs. I don't think I'll ever shop at Lowes again. They're not worth the hassle.

Lowes.ca Terrible Experience with Lowes.ca: Double Billing and Poor Customer Service

My experience with Lowes.ca was absolutely terrible! I was excited to take advantage of their online offer of $25 in savings, but unfortunately, the savings wouldn't go through when I tried to make my purchase. I had to call their customer service line for help, and even the supervisor I spoke with could only give me a $17 discount, even though I had sent them a screenshot of the $25 offer.

But that wasn't the end of my troubles with Lowes.ca. To make matters worse, they double billed me for my purchase! When I called to inquire about the extra charge, the first representative I spoke with told me that it would "drop off" my Visa within 5-7 business days, even though I had clearly explained that the charge had already gone through. When the charge didn't disappear, I called back and was told that a supervisor would call me back within 24 to 48 hours. But it's now late Monday, and I still haven't heard from anyone!

I've been on the phone with Lowes.ca for over half an hour now, and they're insisting that there's nobody who can talk to me about the double billing issue. They say they'll reach out to me once they've settled things with their IT department, but in the meantime, they won't give me a credit for the second charge and won't even talk to me about the problem. It's absolutely ridiculous!

I understand that IT problems can happen, but it's not my fault that Lowes.ca double billed me. They need to take responsibility for their mistake and make things right with their customers. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca, and I won't be shopping with them again in the future.

Lowes.ca Terrible Experience with Lowes.ca: Defective Product and Poor Customer Service

My experience with Lowes.ca was absolutely terrible! I was in the middle of a home renovation project and had been relying on Lowes for all of my primary materials. I had already spent thousands of dollars there, but my most recent experience has put an end to that.

I purchased sliding closet doors and paid for delivery to my house, as I have no way of transporting them myself. Unfortunately, when the doors arrived, they were defective. I immediately called customer service to ask for a replacement door to be delivered to me, since I had already paid for delivery in the first place. To my surprise, I was refused the delivery. The only option they gave me was to bring the doors myself and have them replaced in the store, which completely defeated the purpose of the initial delivery.

Their excuse was that it was probably a manufacturer's defect, so they were not in a position to incur the delivery expense. When I tried to explain that their position had cost me delivery money for no proper goods received, they simply repeated the same phrase over and over again, saying that they were not able to do anything about it.

I was extremely frustrated with this response. After all, I had spent thousands of dollars at Lowes and this was how they treated me? It was clear that they did not care about their customers or their satisfaction. I will never shop at Lowes again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my terrible experience.
