I ain't happy with the service at Luther Ford. I had a recall done on my Ford Explorer for the rear suspension link. After the service, they said I needed a four-wheel alignment, but I had to pay for it. I also had a check engine light for the evap system, but they said they couldn't diagnose it. My car sat there for three days, and they still couldn't fix it. I told them to check the purge valve, but they said it was fine. When I got my car back, the check engine light came on again for the evap system. I checked the purge valve myself, and it was bad. I think the service department at Luther is trying to scam me and make money off of work they didn't do.

On May 18th, I was told my ride was being taken from Monroeville Jeep to Luther Ford. I talked to Skylar B and he said he'd have a loaner car for me and my ride would be done in a week and a half. I've called and left a bunch of messages but Skylar hasn't called me back yet. I talked to someone in his service dept and they said my ride hasn't even been started to get fixed, they only broke the engine down. I've been without a ride for a month now and that's not cool. I also made a complaint on the warranty company *** (complaint # ***).

I went to Luther Ford Sales to check out a 2017 Subaru WRX. They sold me the car, but they didn't tell me it had hail damage. I called them back to ask about it, and they said they knew about the damage but blamed me for buying it. They showed me a car fax that listed minor damage AFTER I already bought the car! Now I have to get the hail damage fixed, and it's going to cost me thousands. This is one of the worst things a dealership could do for their reputation. I'm so mad that they didn't fix the hail damage before selling it to me.

Took my F150 to Luther Ford to fix a drivetrain problem. They replaced the rear end for $4197.88, which was a lot of money for me and my wife. We had to max out our credit cards to pay for it. They said it would take 3 days, but it took almost 3 weeks to get my truck back. When I got it back, the problem wasn't fixed. They said it was the transmission, not the rear end. I asked to see the old rear end, but they said it was already put back together. I think they should pay for the transmission repairs since they did the wrong repairs. I've heard other people complain about this place, and now I know why.

It's already August 29 and PADOT still doesn't have the paperwork. Also, the truck I bought was a Canadian Truck that had the stickers changed to make it look like an American vehicle. The truck is a piece of junk with major corrosion issues and needed brakes, rotors, tires, lug nuts, a steering knuckle, and a caliper bracket just to make it safe to drive. It has a chipped windshield, loud engine ticking, and a hard shifting transmission that I still need to fix. Almost every panel inside and out is scratched.

The salesman said they would take care of it if anything happened within the first day or two, but they haven't done anything. I've called them 37 times, but nobody ever gets back to me. Finally, they picked up my truck after three days of telling me they would, but now they're saying it will cost $6000 to fix it, which I have to pay. They promised to take care of it if anything happened within the first day or two, but now they don't care. I don't know what to do. You would think a truck would last more than 93 miles and less than 2 days. They never call me back, and if they say they did, you can check phone records.

I had an oil test done at Luther Ford Sales on 10/12/2022. They told me to drive the car for 1500 miles, which I did. Then they told me to drive it another 1500 miles. During this time, I had to keep adding oil to it. When I took it back, they only added more oil and said they would open a warranty claim, which should have been done in October. They said they would give me a loaner car, but they never did. They keep giving me excuses and saying they will call back, but they never do. I had the car checked by a Honda dealer, and they said the engine was changed because the numbers didn't match. Luther never told me this, and they said they don't check cars thoroughly before selling them. But I ain't got no paperwork explaining the issues with my car and the work to be done. I drive an SUV and have back problems, but they gave me a small rental car for three months. Luther Ford keeps promising that they are working on my car, and they said it would be ready for pick up on Wednesday, December 7th. But when my husband called them, they said it would take another week. I went to Luther Ford on Thursday, December 8th, and found out that they haven't done any work on my car at all. I am losing sleep over this and very stressed out. I don't deserve to be lied to and scammed. I need my car back with the work done, and I need the paperwork.

I'm tryna get in touch with someone at Luther Ford 'bout a damage claim from July. Antonio in service told me to talk to Mr. 'bout it, but he ain't been gettin' back to me for over three weeks now. Here's what happened: I was gettin' the door keypad on my 2020 F-150 replaced under warranty on July 28, 2022. I was on military leave from North Carolina and the keypad clip broke while I was drivin' to Pennsylvania to visit family. The Luther Ford service department replaced the keypad while I waited, but they messed up the paint on the driver front door. It looked like the technician tried to pry off the exterior door handle and ended up scratchin' and chippin' the paint. I pointed it out to the service manager before I took my truck back, and he said they'd cover the repair since I live in North Carolina. Antonio told me to just send the receipt to the dealership when I got it fixed. I opened a case with Ford to keep track of the claim. When I got back to North Carolina, I had to wait a long time to get the paint fixed at *** in Jacksonville. I finally got it done the last week of September 2022 and emailed the receipt to *** like Antonio told me to. Mr. emailed me back, but he only asked 'bout the keypad replacement. I told him what happened, but he ain't responded since then. I even filled out a request form on the Luther Ford website, but I ain't heard nothin' back. The repair cost almost $1,000 and Luther Ford ain't respondin' to none of my messages. I attached the repair receipt from *** in Jacksonville, NC.

I got a nissan armada from Luther Ford in Homer City, Pa on Febuary 9,2023. But when we got home, the check engine light was on. We took it back on Feb. 10, 2023 and they looked at it and then it had to be sent to the Greensburg dealership to be fixed. They said it was a purge valve, and they flushed the transmission fluid. We got the car back on Feb.16,2023. But on March 4, 2023 the check engine light came on again so we took it back to get fixed on March 6, 2023. They say it's a different part called a throttle body, and the plugs and wires need fixed. They are also saying they won't cover the cost and the warranty we bought won't cover these items, and because of this we can't get a rental car. We asked them to cover the cost of the parts or let us get a different car, being that this one is clearly unreliable, and we haven't had it for over two weeks.(It's been at Luther Ford) We've been trying to resolve the issue with Luther Ford on a daily basis. My chidren are sick and we've had to cancel their doctors appointments everyday, including as I write this. We call Luther Ford everyday. I have stopped in after work as well. They have no answers or details for us. They refer us to speak with sales, service, manangers of all departments, and they say we have to speak to the owner. They've said they have spoken with the owner on numerous accounts, that their in meetings discussing our situation, and they will let us know. We still have no answers. We went in this Saturday on March 18,2023 because the owner was to be there. The manager said he left the owner a message and he would return on Monday. This is Monday and we called and now they said the owner will be out all week. We asked where our car is and they had to find out. My car is apparently still at the Greensburg dealership. My first car payment is due on March 25, 2023, and I have no car in my possesion. I'm not sure what our rights are on this matter but please help us try to resolve this situation, as we are trying and getting no answers. Having to deal with this is frustrating, and overwhelming especially when my children have to be seen at the doctors on a daily basis and I have no transportation to get them there because of these issues.
