We enrolled our son in a Productions and Operations Management course in beginning March 2016. We paid the fee for the year in full and was told that he will receive his textbooks within 10 working days. After 4 weeks and a threat that we want our money refunded, the consultant, Chantelle at the Cape Town branch, told us that we can expect the books that same week as it was sent already. Two days later my son got an sms to go and collect his books. It wasn't at the post office. He went again 4 days later with the tracking number given to him. It was there, but it was books for a teaching diploma! We are livid. He wanted to finish this course by Des 2016, but it doesn't look as if it is going to be possible. We thought after dealing with another college a few years ago it couldn't get worse, but this tops the ratings.
02 May 2017 = Sent my documents to Lebohang Makoro for a refund. I was told to wait 3 - 4 Weeks.
27 June 2017 = Did a follow up, Contacted Lebohang Makoro, she requested me to write a complaints letter which i did.
27 June 2017 = Submitted my complaint to Lebohang Makoro
I have not received my refund.

Since i have started my journey with Lyceum collage it been a nightmare i even regret to study with them, their service is poor we do not receive our results on time so that I could prepare early. If you call them no one is picking up calls but if you are owing they call you .I sent an email early this year to Hazel Golele about my result that were not appearing on the app still now there is no response. I sent the reminder to her again she never responded I called her several times she never answer.
Please help me right now i suppose to write my exams CSR3147 the due date is today there is no exam paper on the app, i sent an email requesting for my paper no one responded .
Time is running, As student of Lyceum I feel I am neglected i do not know where to complain because this have been going on for sometimes now. I am currently doing my 3rd year and I am giving up .
I can see there is no progress with this collage I would be glad if I get back all the money I have paid to them let me go somewhere to start my Journey .I really feel i have wasted my time with College.

My student no is 88552 l not get any response from lycuem college waiting the result for may exam in Metropolitan police science 3000 the only thing l seein student portal Is not yet completed. Lyceum College and services need much higher to desired. The least I can say disappointing and unprofessional.
On record I called two months ago and staff members I spoke to Alette Riddles (Aletta.Riddles@lyceum.co.za - Tel [protected])and Emma Golele ( emma.golele@lyceum.co.za- Tel011 721 2000 ). The enquiry was " How to Get Certificate" Student : 144207 - Sindiswa Priscilla Tshazi : [protected]).
Forms as per their request are send to them for this student who is in Eastern Cape. Now as an adult have Tertiary education in University and Tertiary institution in 1980 have never experience such a bad service which compromise Ethics Code of Conduct of your Institution. I am Gauteng and as an Ault /Pension requested that I pick up the certificate for the student. To my very upsetting state they aren't responding to my email and they aren't answering the phones.
Let me put it this was your institution is more into marginalize community the least I can say. Your brand is compromise. I send someone to pick the certificate and the answer I got your operate in Heaven and Earth attitude.

Lyceum is utterly pathetic the service is sooo poor, our company short paid them on a R169, 99 and they withhold my results which was not released and suspended but students that owes Lyceum thousands of Rands their results are out. I feel this is so unfair I made the payment fnb to fnb emailed the pop but still I have to wait for my results. This literally sucks!

I SM Ndlamla, need to take a serious action against this pathetic institution. I only registered 2021 for October Exams (Student ID 164434) Bachelor of Arts in Disaster and Safety Management. I arranged for a month leave from my workplace to sit for exams in October. There was no exams and I never received info that it was postponed for Nov 2021.
I am working abroad and there is a couple of things I need to arrange before heading home to write; visa being one. I was told by Annelie Oosthuizen that there is exams in May 2022. I want the dates to give to Management so they can make arrangements of releasing me. It is not easy as like getting on a plane and go write. Even though, I was going for exams without even knowing my assignment marks!
Their website is not working. I requested refund of my money as I cannot be subjected to this unprofessional behaviour. If they deduct money from my account this month (January 2022) I will deal with them decisively!
I want to exhaust proper channels prior seeking legal assistance in this matter. What is the right way to address complaints. Is the an Ombudsman?
Truly speaking Lyceum is a nightmare I registered with them this year foundation of teaching grade R I find myself lost because there is no study material they kept on saying I have to do a research I lost interest and canceled the course last month but they kept on taking my money in my acc when I called their office there is no respond I'm so frustrated
Lyceum has the poorest service ever, they lack communication so much that it’s so frustrating. I have been sending emails to the WIL 1 Department for the past two months to ask when is the next date to do my practicals but until today No 1 has responded and it’s very frustrating because I need to give feedback to Principal of the school I found as to when Practicals begin.
This is nonsense I would never recommend this college to Anyone.
We have been trying to get information about assessments and dates and the way forward as we already missed dates because nobody bothered to come back to us. At least 10 emails and 10 phonecalls which always get transferred to a number which is not available. What a terrible experience. I am trying to study for the Grade R Diploma but nobody gets back to me to advise and when you get somebody they are so vague that you are none the wiser. i physically want to meet with a student advisor, CEO or Principal so that I can get this matter sorted out. I thought my student number was [protected] but now am told this is not a student number but this is the number that appeared on my acceptance email?WHAT IS GOING ON. I am Student 156638 D Hermanus, i am still waiting on feedback regarding my refund from Lyceum. My application was done in May 2022 for refund and still up to now no refund.

Prince Ngobeni a very rude consultant who has zero patience and zero knowledge on the procedures of the institute, very *********** and should be removed from customer service because he has no idea what that is about. if you don't know answers or how to address an issue you never hang up but transfer the calls to your seniors who know better.
In 2022 I communicated with the college that I would receive a bursary and that the payment would be made as processing was ongoing, however, they kept debiting my account. They had to pay back an amount of about R4K+, which they never did, and stated that the amount would be credited to my account. This year in less than 3 months of registration they were sending me messages threatening legal action and that I must pay outstanding fees. I further informed them that I was expecting a bursary and needed time for processing. The person from the accounts pretended to understand, however, they still debited money from my account and I reversed the amounts. Now in the first week of December, my bursary was paid, however, they claim that I still owe the college R600 because there is interest on the amounts that the debit order did not clear. They are now threatening that if I do not pay the ADDITIONAL R600 added to my account then their portal would not allow me to write exams or submit assignments in the future.
I would not advise anyone to study at this institution, it is a nightmare! They are constantly threatening and instilling fear in their students.
