Clothing i have returned
I ordered 3 pair of jeans 2 pair of style co jeans and a pair of gloria vandervilt jeans i returned them by ups on december 1,2022 and i have the reciept i brought 6 pair of jeans for work i return 3 pair at gwinnett place mall i have the reciept.And i used that gift card for a toaster oven for my mom mean time the 3 pair i sent back to ups they will not refund me my gift card they claimed i recieved already which i did not the total of the gift card should be $ 69.93 i never recieved my refund this has been going on for a month customer services hangs the phone up on me no one helps me telling me they return the refund to me i brought a total of 6 pairs of jeans for work i have all my proof i will seek a lawyer all im asking is for my total refund on a gift card i have no reason to lie and i have been fighting this issue for a month im suing macys just return my dam jeans or my refund i had 6 pairs of jeans i ordered from macys on line

Macy money
I have made NUMEROUS attempts via email, as well as the customer care number provided, to have the $40 Macy money I earned from a recent purchase, credited to my account. Since all of my attempts have only been met with scripted responses and blame being placed on different things, i will be reaching out to the executive offices of Macy's. If that attempt does not resolve anything, I will then loop in Macy's CEO, Jeffrey Gennette. If nothing else, I will make this horrible customer service experience echoed throughout.
All I am asking, is for the $40 Macy money, i earned from placing a $250+ order on 12-10-2022, to be credited to my account. I am not trying to get a credit for anything not owed, only what was expected from the order I placed, and the promotion offered at the time. Instead, I have gotten the runaround, until now, which is past the time i was to be able to redeem the $40 Macy money. I have an email trail, (which I can forward if requested, where i have sent pictures verifying i was to receive the $40 in my wallet and it still, after all the attempts made, is not there. Please assist this situation.

Customer service in a call center overseas
I bought a pair of INC slacks in Oct. 2022. My acount at that time had a zero balance!On Nov 5 2022 I returned to Westmoreland Greensburg store! The salesclerk took the return and didn't credit my account! I did not know until a few days later when I decided to return 2 more items that I had bought on Nov.5th. I was credited $53.57 on Nov.9th. I received a bill for Dec.2022 with the return slacks and a late fee still on the bill! I called credit and soon realized this was a call center overseas and they were not going to help me! They said I had to call the store in Greensburg. After 5 unanswered calls I got ahold of somebody who got a manager. I was livid by now and she still argued about the return and fee as if I were lying! Finally she agreed to remove the $44.50 from my bill but not until I threatened to drive there with my receipt! She said I had to settle late fee with the customer service which is Citibank! No longer Macy's and not based in US! They are scammers and I am still fighting because they sent another BS bill for January after all these phone calls and BS! I pd the entire amount off and now they want $70.00 or more interest charges! I am calling the Bureau of Consumer Affairs and filing a complaint and alerted credit companies. People should file a class action lawsuit and put them out of business! Sherry Hora

Gift card I ordered online
I ordered a gift card from Macys.com on December 13, 2022.
I got an email saying I ordered it, then that same day, Dec. 13, I got another email saying it had shipped.
The gift card was shipped USPS.
The "shipped" email said expected delivery Dec. 22.
It is Dec. 24 now, and although the mail hasn't run yet, my daily "USPS Informed Delivery" email doesn't show it arriving today.
When I click on the "Track Package" link in my shipment email it says: "No tracking info available."
When I go to the Macy's website, there is no phone number, etc. by which to contact anybody... One page says something about using the "Chat" feature on the page to chat with an associate, but there is no chat button, box, etc. to click on or write in.
There is no form to fill out, etc. and no phone number to talk to anyone.
So basically I am in the total dark about where the Christmas present gift card for my mother is... and Macy's is *totally* unreachable/unresponsive about it.
I realize it is Christmastime and the weekend, etc... but I tried to contact them 1 or 2 days ago and it was all the same... Also, to send a $100 gift card with no tracking info available is bad.
I stumbled on your website looking for bad experiences with ordering macy's gift cards... so I'm giving it a go and hope you can help. Thanks!
Desired outcome: Get some kind of answer from Macy's in the next day or two.. at least by Monday, Dec. 26, preferably with some information on exactly where it is.... and then to eventually get my gift card in the mail... within a week.
Order not delivered (air fryer)

I have called Macy's customer service 7 times. They said (each time) they would re-ship this order.
(Dec 14th)
I have asked for written documentation each time I talk with the service representative. I have never received an email about this replacement and the email is not in spam.
I also was told they would call me back to ensure I received the email. They did not call back; I did not receive an email.
I have called to talk with a supervisor 3 separate times on 12/22/2022.
The first time, the phone was disconnected. The 2nd time, they transferred me to UPS. The 3rd time, I did talk to a supervisor who said "they denied my claim"
They absolutely are not resolving this issue, although they say they are.
Now they are saying it was denied, because I have "too many claims"
This is a huge problem.
The 3 orders were allegedly delivered to my house on Dec 14th.
I was home at the time. I have a security camera and there was no one that came to the front door. There were NO footprints in the snow. And my doorbell certainly was not rung.
UPS says I can only work with Macy's. I believe the call center agents are telling me that everything is fine so that they can get off the phone. They absolutely are not resolving this issue, although they say they are. Each time they ask me the exact same questions. I have to wait on hold every time.
Desired outcome: I would like this order (Krux air fryer) delivered. I do not want a refund. And I would like written documentation that the air fryer will be delivered. I would like the VP of Customer Service to follow up with me at [protected].
This is resolved. The CEO's executive admin resolved this once I escalated to the CEO. After escalating, the situation was resolved immediately with high satisfaction.
Refund policy
Ordered my Christmas gifts 12/2/22. Expected delivery 12/6. But they shipped out using LSO commerce carrier. They said they were unable to deliver to my address 12/13 which is ridiculous since Amazon, UPS, USPS and Fedex can definitely deliver. Called Macys customer service 12/13 to file for a refund since I did not get my order and my credit card has been deducted already. The agent said wait 24-48 hrs for them to look at what happened. Called 12/14 and asked for an update, they said wait until 48hrs. Called again 12/15, they said a refund is filed dated 12/15. Wait for 7-10 business days for the refund to process and reflect on your credit card. Called again today 12/21, same story: wait for 7-10 business days.
What pissed me off is that: Macy WILL NOT send out an email to you letting you know that “a refund has been processed to you in the amount of $… please wait for 7-10 business days to process…”
You do not have any proof that a refund has been processed. All you got is the WORD from the customer agents you spoke to that indeed a refund has been processed for you, and wait for it to reflect in your credit card.
It is just so frustrating. I never thought Macy’s company, as big as they are, their refund policy needs attention. Why can’t they send out an email that would somehow let us know that yes indeed a refund is processed. All the other companies do that. And they can’t? Because the agent said “it’s not in our policy to send out emails, we don’t do that.”
So ridiculous! Why is it so hard to get a refund from Macy’s. I could not emphasize it more.
Desired outcome: They should send out an email letting their customers know that a refund is processed. Not just leave us hanging in the air, waiting for the refund to be reflected back in our bank accounts!
Orders keep getting canceled
On 12/06/22 two of my orders were canceled. And on 12/17/22 my order was canceled again. I called customer service and why I couldn't shop online anymore. But didn't give me a reason. Only to tell me I can shop in the stores. I said would if there was a Macy's around to shop in. The store card ending that they show within the email was not my card. It's so frustrating the things that I had ordered were gifts needed. The group running their customer service doesn't have the knowledge to do jobs suited for the United States. She tells me to hold on, but she hangs up on me. Rude is rude in any language and she was rude. I have learned the right to be angered. The things I was trying to buy are no longer available due to their cancelation. But to them it is okay. To me is not. Their customer services have no clue what the problem is. Try to tell them about the store card ending # in the email but they pull the email that they had sent. On 12/10/22 Macy's increased my credit limit. The letter statement: "Your Macy's Credit Card is the perfect way to experience the Magic of Macy's! From offering great extra savings with no coupons necessary to surprise saving at the register, your Macy's Credit Card lets you save better when shopping at Macy's or www.macys.com." I don't think Macy's is in good faith exercising my rights under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.
And the federal agency that administers compliance with this law. They should give me a reason or be able to tell me Why I can not shop at Macy's online.
Desired outcome: I want the problem resolved. And talk to customer service with the knowledge or a clue to help with the situation.
Cancellation Policy
I ordered a gift from Macy's online on 12/11/2022 w/ delivery expected well before Christmas. Now it's saying that the item won't be delivered until 1/17/2023 so I tried to cancel the order but customer service says they "can't" since the order is in processing. But my question is, how can be order be "in processing" if it won't even ship for a month? Absolutely no help from customer service.
Desired outcome: I want my item cancelled and a refund.
Customer service unresponsive to me
I ordered 4 pieces of jewelry on 10-17-22. I never received the order. It is now 12-15-22, and this still has not been settled yet. I lost track of how many times I have called, I would have if I had known the trouble I was going to have for 1 order! One time I called and the customer service person blew me off. The last few times I was not given a chance to take the survey.
Desired outcome: I want the credits I am owed. I want this to show in my Macy's account immediately. And I don't want to deal with this company ever again.
Carbon steel pans 2 orders 3 pans
December 2022
Order carbon steel pans and they were never shipped. I finally called the absolutely worst customer service people ever, who are located in the Philippines. That in itself should be a crime to talk with these incompetent, clueless people. Thank you, Macy's for going so cheap. The C/S people said that it already shipped. 2 days later, I received an email that said the products are back-ordered indefinitely and that I could cancel the order, or they would cancel the order in January. I called and cancelled the 2 orders and ordered the same product from Amazon, since they now were the same price. 2 days later my Amazon package is arriving, and I get an email from Macy's saying my orders, that I canceled, have shipped. I called C/S and spoke with a supervisor, named Bia ext. 6229, who said that she stopped the shipment. Well, she didn't and Macy's charged my account. A week later the package, the 2 packages that I cancelled, finally arrived. Regardless of the hours on the phone with Macy's Useless C/S to avoid this. Now they said I have to return the items to get my card refunded. Which means I have to be a courier to return something I didn't order. This is utterly ridiculous, how much time I've been on the phone about this, and now they want me to spend more time to return it. I need compensated for this!

I placed an order on 11/29/22 and the order is NOT on backorder but it has not shipped. I called your customer service number, [protected] many times at this point they all tell me the item is not on backorder and to wait for it to ship.
I called Saturday, 12/10 and the rep stated he would cancel the order and reorder it. I called Monday 12/12, and I spoke with Francisca ID [protected] who stated the order was not canceled nor was it reordered. She asks that I call back on Wednesday 12/14. I called back and I spoke with a female who transferred me to fraud, then I was transferred back to customer service. I spoke with Clyde who hung up on me. I called back and I spoke with John ID102545 who transferred me back to the main customer service number. I then spoke with Jenny who would not give me her ID number. She put me on hold. After 5 minutes of holding she came back on the line and stated that a supervisor is on another line and she advise that Macy is waiting for UPS to ship the product. (The product is NOT at UPS, only a shipping label was created). I advised that I will wait for the supervisor. I was transferred to Ralph who is in credit and said he would help me. I advised my journey for today and I stated that I need to speak with a supervisor. He put me on hold and I was transferred to Mikey ID [protected]. I asked if she was a supervisor and he is not. I explained my journey to her and she put me on hold. She came back to me stating the product has already shipped on the 12th. I asked for the tracking number and she stated that that tracking number has not changed. UPS tracking 1zx6818x0301246716 shows a shipping label on 11/29/22 and they are waiting for the package to be delivered to them. I asked for them to cancel the order and refund my account. She advises that it will take up to 2 to 3 business days for the credit to show up. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with Macy's customer service and I am having a pause with using your services again. You have too much competition to allow this to happen.
Desired outcome: Fire your customer service department. Bring it back to the USA and actually have supervisors to help customers with escalations.
Fragrance department ignoring me and waiting on other customers!
On December 12, 2022 at 12:15, I went to Macy's to shop in the Fragrance Department. I stood at the fragrance counter about 30 minutes while numerous sales associates constantly walked pass me as I waited patiently. It was not busy at the time. I became frustrated so I left the Fragrance Department and walked around the store. I came back to the Fragrance department and after waiting another 20 minutes, once again stood there while the representatives waited on other customers. An associate finally came up and rudely asked did I want to purchase something. I explained to her about what I had just experienced earlier. I asked to speak to a manager and was refused that request. I walked away disgusted and did not purchase anything.
I am a retired US Army veteran, serving this country for over 33 years. I had just got off work at the US Postal Service. As a matter of fact, the US Postal Service delivers your Macy's products. I'd hate to see what would happen if we treated your packages we deliver the same way I was mistreated.
I understand that at this time of the year, staff are very busy. However; there is NO excuse to for a sales representative to blatantly ignore a customer who was standing there while they waited on other customers. I wonder if I was ignored because of the color of my skin. I'm sure I am not the first customer who experienced this. Your representatives were rude and did not represent Macy's in a professional manner. I will be sure to mention this experience to my friends and family to see if they had ever been treated in this manner.
This is totally unacceptable! I spend too much money at Macy's and I do know that my money is just as good as the money of the customers that I was overlooked for. Also, I'm sure you have cameras that you can look at to prove what I am saying is a fact. Just look for the man in his postal uniform standing at the Fragrance Department around 12:15.

Desired outcome: Provide diversity training to your staff. Staff need to understand that this type of disservice could potentially cost Macy's money.
Sales personnel
I'm not making what you may call a complaint, but rather disappointment. I've shopped Macy's stores for many many years. But during the last several times while in store, I've experienced some of your employees to be unfriendly, non helpful, and at times rude! This is not the Macy's I've shopped at for all these years! I've always been so pleased with the kindness and help in the past years, but not so at present time. I've experienced managers being rude to the people under them, and managers on the phone while working! Should not be. I shop in the Wellington Mall in Wellington FL. So disappointed in "My Macy's! This is my utmost favorite store, but I'm losing the desire to shop here! Thank you!

Ralph Lauren women coat purchased online
I was forwarded an email from Macy's on 12-10-22 stating that the order #[protected] had been declined. I ordered this coat 11-23-22 through paypal along with another coat which I picked up from the Dearborn store. I recently spoke to a Macy's customer rep name Charie who stated the coat was $195 and because the item was being delivered, this item was declined because I did not have the funds in my paypal account. This is untrue as paypal shows there has been no failed attempts by Macy's to obtain funds for this item at all.
I would like to know why I was not contacted by Macy's on this matter before cancelling my order, as I have more than enough funds in my paypal account to make this transaction. I would also like to know why the funds for this item has been taken from my paypal account?
Desired outcome: I would like my item that I was waiting to be delivered in by 01-2023, I would like an apology, and I would like the actual reasoning behind my cancelation!
Fragrance department

I came to macys fragrance to shop for my son who was with me n the lady who was helping us was extremely rude and uninformed and for each question she had a no as an answer or i am not saying that , upon inquiring for any sales . I felt very insulted. Upon asking other employees i found out she is a seasonal employee and her name is VELMA , when i asked her name she had a problem even with that so i just read her name tag n left the store without buying anything. It happened tonight December 10th Saturday night around 8 pm
Desired outcome: Please make sure she doesn’t treat anyone else like this i love to shop at macys however if macys have these kind of employees it is bad for prestige.
getting on line to add my credit card nmber
On 8th, about 8 pm, placed an order online but couldn't get the credit card number to print. tried numerous times, called customer service but couldn't understand her accent.
On the 9th at about 9:30 am tried again to call customer service. Did add one more item to the items to buy, the same problem, couldn't print the credit card number but everything else was printed. The second problem price of the bill doubled, but I got that corrected. Called customer service because couldn't get the visa number to print. Called customer service, he didn't understand. He put me through to billing, T.hat recording wanted my visa number, and when I had paid the bill.
I then went on to type in my problem with customer service but received no answer. So I am trying to get an answer from you. Aii I want to get my Visa number on with the rest on the payment portion.
Desired outcome: To get my visa card printed so I can purchase the items.
Moldy Fudge
I received an email from Macy's about the 2 sets of the R.H. Fudge Sampler I had ordered. About the time I had received this email, the product was removed from the shipping box and the box had been recycled.
I contacted customer service online and through email. I had been told about sending the product back for a refund. Excuse me! In what box?
I feel this is a huge inconvenience for someone to have to find a box to return this product in, drive to the post office and then wait in a long line, wondering if I would actually get a refund or not!
Of course, I did not eat the fudge and tossed it in the garbage! I am very glad I didn't eat any of it! Since I no longer have a special treat for family members, I am quite disappointed!
Desired outcome: I would like for Macy's to send me a food product of equal value. The fudge cost me $43.98 plus tax.
Credit Due
I am still due a credit from order number [protected] of $70.00. I have called customer service at least 5 times to resolve this and I do not expect this type of treatment as a platinum customer. I explained at length that I used a gift card which I discarded as I believed I was due merchandise. The order of the Lula Mock-Neck Long Sleeve Top was cancelled due to the item being not in stock. I do not mind not receiving my merchandise nevertheless I have a problem that I have not received the credit I am due. I tried to resolve the issue twice at my local Macys however I was told they cannot help and to call customer service. Customer service continually lied and informed me I would receive a credit which I still have not. My last call to them was on 11/11 and the claim the credit was processed 11/5. Please help me resolve this issue ASAP or I will start buying more merchandise from Bloomingdales.

We arrived at Shiseido Counter to pay for purchases.Clerk asked my husband for phone number and said it was so we could receive notice of special shopping events. two hours after leaving store I receive text on my phone from clerk Bertha Olivas saying text her cell number or call dept. Service at the perfume counter
On Sunday November 26,2023 around 2:00 or 2:30pm my daughter and I were looking to purchase some more perfume .We decided on "good girl" the very small bottles for 50.00 dollars (which was great ) so the lady at the perfume counter gave it to me and I told her I was purchasing another small bottle at the Gucci counter ..then I will come back and purchase both together she said ok ..no longer then 5 minutes I'm at the Gucci counter ..the lady comes over from the good girl counter and ask can they have the perfume back because her boss said I wouldn't buy it ..I said miss I am gonna purchase it I just want to get another small bottle as well she said my boss wants it back I said ok ..you can have it back but I'm now upset because are you insinuating that I'm stealing she said no but my boss said you won't buy it ..I said it's ok miss you can have it back then I went back to the Gucci counter and they helped me ..I'm writing this complaint because I feel as tho I was racially profiled due to me being black ..because it was many ppl from other races who did the same thing and I noticed she never said I word to them I'm upsets because I spend a lot of money in Macys and am also a card member ..it hurts my heart because you never judge a person by their skin color I hope this doesn't happened to anyone ..Thank you for your time
