Dealer complain
I have purchased a new scorpio micro hybrid EX from RALAS MOTORS (G.E. Road, Tatibandh, Raipur) on 29th February 2012, whose invoice number is INV12A001445 and key number 1425. But that same day, due to some animals on road scorpio got accident. Only the back portion of the vehicle was damaged and we go back to the Dealer - Ralas Motors on 02.03.2012 to do it repair. He gave us job number - 14289 and give us delivery date of 15.03.2012.
But now its 18.03.2012 about 1 month passed the delivery deadline. But still i have no hope of getting it soon due to bad service of the Dealer. Firstly he told us that there were some delay in parts, so he called us after 10 days, when we appear after 10 days then he told us that by mistake the part is of old model, then again we go then again he said that we still have not recovered it.
I live in a small town far from Raipur (capital of Chhattisgrah) and we have visited more than 10 times to dealer but still we didn't got any positive response. Since long time i have faith on Mahindra company because earlier we owned a Marshel then Bolero and now it was turn of Scorpio. Although the problem was very little, only the back left side portion has damaged and back door glass was broke. Vehicle was absolutely fine because we take it normally from my home to Raipur Dealer. Then also he is taking too much time.
So now help me what should i do.
engine problem
sir, iam swaminathan from trichy-tamilnadu-india.i purchased Mahindra XYLO at Siva Automobiles-Trichy-Tamilnadu-India on 28.12.11.i faced problem on 24.11.11 that my car sucks water while overtaking lorry during ranin and i called the Helpline number and they serviced and returned the car and within 2 days white smokes comming out of my car and i handed the car to the local dealer till now the problem has not been rectified and day by day they are simply saying answers only and problem not rectified first they told that problem is from injector and they servied and replaced and checked still the smoke is comming and after they said that the problem is in engine head and they serived and still problem not rectified and again they said that the problem is in connect rod and they ordered for connect rod and fter installing connect rod now they are saying that the rings is broken ...kindly tell me what i have to do ? and shall i go to consumer court or they will replace with new engine..my mobole no:[protected]/[protected].currently there are no technically strong persons with the local Shiva Automobiles Dealer and they are simply answering what shall i do.kindly look for the problem or i want to contact whom...
vehical noise
i mr.v saravanakumar residing at :73 3rd main rd, ram nagar, south extn.pallikarnai.ch:100, delivered mahindra xuv500 white color on 14th wed from the zulaikha showroom.madipakkam at 8.00pm.my order no:[protected].the vehical has a noise in the engine when it was given to me.i took the car to ambattur service station for rectifying the noise from the engine.but the problem was not rectified.still the noise is comming.i think a defected vehical is delivered to me.i want you to give me another new car in replace or else legal actions will be taken.

Very very poor service
Helo sir, our vehicle is mahindra maximo. Before 35 days i was gave the vehicle for the wheel alignment shock observerfault. Now the same fault is occur in my vehicle. There was a very worst response in the service station (Shiva auto mobiles in trichy) . I think it was a manufacture fault. So please replace my vehicle with new one. We had taken the new vhecle just before 7 months but i had more money for the faults occur. If u should not response me i wont pay the due for the vehicle. Now the vehicle in the service station. this is to inform mahindra an mahindra that their dealer i.e. G3 motors ( malad ) have damaged my car scorpio sle twice during the servicing in their workshop in my 4th an 5th service, they are resolving the problem but this activities are decreasing the valueation of my car, an the delay due to their activity is causing me loss in my personal proffession, i would like to inform the company that i seriously want some action against the dealership, or esle i'll surely go to the consumer court.

So many damages regarding my car bolero

I ABIR RAK[censored] bought a brand new Bolero plus on 29th of feb 2012. I have done my 1st free servicng on 18.4.2012 at 5300kms and 2nd free servicing on 02.06.2012 at 12215 kms. and as per the service manager of Rurdra motors purulia(W.B) the next servicng was to be held after running of next 10000 kms. Hence as per the prestated norms given to me, I booked a servicing date(10.08.2012) at Rudra Automart pvt.ltd Asansol -40. The service advicer Mr.Rajiv Bhattacharya forced me to "HEAD D-carbon" in my vehicle @ Rs 1680 though there was no such problems in my vehicle to conduct such operations hence on refusing to do so
he cancelled my 3rd free servicing.
I would be highly obliged if you kindly manage to do the needful at yours earliest convinance.

Shortage of Spare Parts
The car, JH 10T 3755, is idle at M/s Auto Plaanate, Matkuria, Dhanbad since the last two months as the dealer does not have spares. The Oil Jet is not available, although they have placed Order on M & M. This condition is status quo since last six weeks. The cause of Engine failure is due to non availability of Oil Jet earlier. The Dealer assured us "nothing will happen" and the engine conked out. I purchased a brand new Mahindra Scorpio from Lucy Breedt (Mahindra Dealer in George, Western Cape) in November 2009. After I have paid the full amount cash into their bank account the vehicle was not delivered as promised on various delivery dates. I showed out a number of errors on the NEW vehicle that needed to be fixed. Finally on the 4th delivery date promised the vehicle was still not ready, faults still wasn't repaired and I noticed rust on the new vehicle. After cancelling the deal and demanding the money back Lucy still went threw and registered vehicle on my name. I haven't even touched the key till this very day. The vehicle is standing on her floor room advertised for sale, but is still in my name and Lucy still hasn't paid any of my money back. Having this vehicle with an outstanding license on my name I cannot renew the license of my current vehicle. Lucy still refuses to pay my money, but is advertising the vehicle for sale while it is still in my name, refusing to take it of my name
3rd Class Service
I purchased a Mahindra Scorpio vehicle from G3 Motors, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. While purchasing I was said that the RC smart card will be handed over to me in person within 45 working days.The address given by me as a permanent address was not the place I was staying as I the building had demolished for redevelopment and I had said to the showroom staff that I will furnish my present address with proof but they said that no need of that as the Registration smart card will be coming to there showroom.After 2 months when I checked with the showroom I came to know that my card came on my address and it went back by the same speed post.When I asked the showroom staff they said it went by mistake and now i will have to go to the Worli RTO, Mumbai personally to collect it with address proof so I went there and the RTO staff said to get the receipt showing that I paid 500 Rs. for the RC the smart card.I showed all my papers given by the showroom staff but they said that the receipt is not there.Again I came back and I had gone through a Ulcer operation and I was asked to take a months rest so before going to Kerala I thought of going today(28th, Sep'2011) and collect it.I was discharged day before yesterday from the hospital.The RTO is about 20 to 25 KM from my place.I was asked by a the showroom staff to contact one Mr.Sanjay in the Worli RTO, Mumbai and I had given the intimation that I am not well and cant wait for a long time but after reaching there as said by the showroom staff that Mr.Sanjay will do it within no time nothing went that way.He just took me to a RTO staff said to him that my RC card was issued on 14/07/2011 and it came back to the RTO so please check and give it to me.After that the pain I suffered because of G3 Motors was worst then the operation pain which I went through.I had to wait in front of each and every RTO staff's table for atlest half and hour and the total time I spend there was more the 3 hours standing.The pain is worst and the doctors have asked me to get admitted for a through checkup again.I paid total cash to purchase the vehicle but now I think that I paid total cash to get pain and suffering from the Mahindra Authorised Showroom-G3 Motors.Need to take a strict action against them.My family will decide tomorrow after my checkup about what to do with this irresponsible people's.

This has reference to the subjected, yesterday on 15-09-11 while driving the mahindra thar jeep happened to see smoke coming from engine & park on the off road.Though Jeep has been purchased on last month smoke from engine felt us a great disappointment.we approached nearest branch office in kannur(kerala) and they acknowledge jeep owner need to drop to manglore (where jeep has been brought).This is so regretful for us to drop ourself to manglore despite of buying on last month.moreover every works are depend on the jeep & its absence makes so difficult for us.

defective door latch
I have purchased a new Scorpio MH02BZ9400 in the name of Mrs. Madhu Khanna on 20th January 2011 from Global Gallarie, Thane. During the second free service at 10000 kms., it was brought to the notice of M/s. Sai Service at Borivli (E), Mumbai, that locking and opening the vehicle was difficult and that the functions on the remote had to be prressed many times before getting the desired result. Moreover, once the vehicle is unlocked, the sound of opening the latch is heard many times, instead of just 1 time. Sai Service went through the problem and it was conveyed to us that the door latch is faulty, but due to non-availability of spares the same could not be rectified. I was directed to M/s. G3 Motors at Malad (W), Mumbai, but the result was the same. My complaint and contact number was taken up by G3 motors but I have not heard from them in 5 weeks now. Request the company to look into the matter since opening and locking the vehicle is very difficult. If the whole mechanism is faulty, the company should replace the same ASAP.

With reference to above, I had purchased the above said car in the year of 2010 and I also keep maintenance of the said car regularly with the authorised service centre.
On the 11/08/2011, I had kept the said car with the Sheetal Motors Pvt ltd(Ahmedabad, Gujarat), authorised service centre for service with a complaint that after running the 40-50 km, the Car become hot and the water in the radiation section become empty, as per the job card dated 11/08/2011, the said defect have been removed and a bill of service was given.
The said problem again came on 13/08/2011, which was again complaint and they told that there is a minor problem of the other rubber pipe, which was also replaced, but in facts the said problem could not be resolved absolutely and again on 17/08/2011, the said problem comes and after passing more than 15 days till date the said problem neither removed nor any satisfactory reply have been received.

I (Bithu Babu) here by informing you that I have a Mahindra single cab pickup which is under the registration KL 34 A, 4625 is under repair condition due to steering box oil leak, break complaint, low mileage and door lock . I already given the vehicle for 3 free services at TVS Kollam and the vehicle is now run for 18000 kms. During the last 2 service we reported the same compliant and they rectified it and they have charged for it (bill number: K 3000780) amount of 4672 INR and the third service the same complaint we reported and that also billed for (Bill number: K 4000653) amount of 3208 INR. The mentioned both services are free services.
Kilometer run when we gave for second service is 9823 and third service is 14407 respectively.
Now also we are facing the same steering oil leak, low mileage, brake complaint and door lock.On 25/08/2011 we gave the vehicle in TVS Kollam for all the four same issues which I have mentioned. They serviced the vehicle and gave back with the amount of approximately 2000 INR . And today the pickup shows some missing while starting the vehicle .
We like to enquire about the charges which they have rectified and billed is exact or not.
Today also I am facing the same issue (steering oil leak, break and mileage)
I like to know whether you have any stipulated solution for this or please inform us do u have any final solution for my vehicle.
We already complained the issue to the manager Mr Jaba Kumar and he also told us they cannot do anything. As I am a customer please ensure us what we can do for this steering oil leak, brake complaint and other complaints.

supply of defective piece and overcharging
i had purchased the mahindra thar 4*4 by way of booking from snowview automobiles, kachi ghati, shimla 171010. I got the delivery of the vehicle on 9th aug 2011. i was overcharged by them to the extent of Rs 7000 and i was told that the amount would be refunded to me since the vehicle had been booked by me before the price rise which was effective from 25th july 2011. despite various request the money has not been refunded till today. The vehicle suffered from various defects. The 4wd light wasd not workin, the hud/ roof, doors were noisy and the wipers were also making noise. The clutch was also making noise and the front left light was full of moisture. The left bonnet knob and the bumper was rusted. I was told that the defects would be rectified or the piece of the vehicle would be change. My vehicle is standing in the workshop since last four days. The defects have niether been rectified nor the piece has been changed. The attitude of the workmen in the workshop is such that they dont want to do any work. I had been visiting them time and again ever since ive purchased the vehicle but all in vain... The attitude of the snowview automobiles after sales is pathetic and clearly amounts to unfair trade practise.. The sgowroom has cheated upon me in selleng the defective piece of vehicle and i have no option but to file this complaint..

No Pick up in Engine
There is no pick up in engine more than 45 Km/h..
This complaint has been registered and serviced in our Velechery Service center during Aug'11 - 01 st week and it has been rectified by an amount of Rs.15000/.The same problem re occurred again after 700Km @ tuticorin. Again we serviced the vehicle @ tirunelveli service center for an amount of Rs.6000/. on 20th Aug 11.Again today(22nd Aug 11) the same problem occurred after a drive of 150KM.
Now being a owner of your make XYLO we are very much unhappy of the vehicle.there is no proper response from any service center. So kindly help us whether we will be able to rectify this above said problem with your service team.Whom to contact for further clarification.

Service not on time - very late
We are customer of Xylo vehicle purchased on 14th July 2011, which went into immobilisation mode on 14th August 2011, ironically on the same date. The service centre took it under its charge after many complaints and numerous phone calls made.
After too many written and telephonic discussion with the customer care of the company. A sanction of replacement of ECU has been made on Friday, 19th August 2011 but the replacement has not been made. Till today, 22nd August 2011 nothing has been done.
Our vehicle is a business vehicle; we have been repeatedly reminding the customer care that we are losing a business of Rs. 5000/- approx per day.
The reputed company like Mahindra and Mahindra behaves so irresponsibly, this is not accepted.
We had shortlisted Mahnidra's vehicle because of its reputation but now the customer care is the one who is not concerned. This is financial and mental harassment.
Company should compensate for all this. Now I have lost all my patience, I think there is no choice except to go to the consumer court.
At this juncture, in the country when respected Anna Hazare is fighting against corruption. We once again realise nothing moves until some kind of bribing is done. We, the business class are then blamed to encourage corruption.
Suggest what should be done under such circumstances.

I own a Xylo E6-of Aug 2010, which is single driven and clocked only 7000 KM so far. I had a horrifying experience today: While driving at good speed, ie. 60 KM/hr, suddenly a warning came up that the “alternator not working and battery not charging”, thereafter the brakes became very hard and vehicle went out of control. Only to my luck, that patch of road was empty and nearby there was slushy field where I could stop the vehicle. Earlier once, after 40 KM of continuous drive, the fuel pump gave up and vehicle did not start. Enough is enough.. I gonna sell Xylo and no more Mahindra products. Hope the TVS service stn. (Ernakulam) will not qoute any excuse not to replace alternator and fuel pump under warranty (my email id: ragesh_lal@rediffmail.com)

improvement in this working order, To day we have already handed over it to the dealer an 6th sep 2011 .

Till today no satisfactory answer is received from the dealer.

Hello, hope so u seriously take my complaint, I mr govind bhanushali, has given car for servicingat Avis motors, Mahindra & mahindra reputed services centre, result i got ismy left rear door which was damaged has been succesfully replaced but not fitted and also my rear speaker is mispalced which cost rs 1500/- i called up Mr, Rajesh Pandey i think ample no of times butonly thing i got is (dekhta hu puchta hu }, my horn is also not working properly since i serviced my new car at Avis motors, kindly look into the matter and revert also i need my speaker back.

we are owned mahindra xylo e4 (2017 model -KL 25 A 3740 mohamad basheer) on the month of march 29 th due to accident claim we given for repairing in tvs and sons trivandram, with full cover insurance. they had given 15 days date then it extended to 1 month then again extended to may 19 th, the vehicle is not yet delivered, so it almost going to be 2 months . when we ask why the delay occurred they were telling the parts has to come from the company and its delayed i want to know why is the delay or the service guys putting the fault on company side . and i have a other doubt that why this much delay in an indian based company . the sad part of it is the companies like volkswagen and toyota giving the accident repair in there minimum time ( the maximum of 25 days) why you have a delay? your customer support is very poor . and i understood the the service companies are running with inadequate workers and equipment, dont your company is not responsible for this things?. i am used many a company vehicles this was my first experience( hope this will be the last too) with irresponsible peoples . i just booked a xuv 500 but since your service is very poor i just searching for better choices. i have a advice too if a vehicle is given they should give a date when the vehicle can be handed over and should be very particular in that. and we met the service manager in trivandram i think he is the extreme irresponsible person in that service out let. with out proper interaction with the customers. Dear sir,
Under instruction of my client sh. Ajab singh s / o sh. Horam r / o 22, pachola mohalla, jaunapur village delhi - 47, do here by serve you this legal notice with the following facts:
1. That my above said client purchased a mahindra make scorprio vlx - a / b model, chasis no. Rd12b002599, engine no. Hfb4e35792 from the addressee no. 2 on 25. 05. 2011 vide invoice no. Sa / inv12c000153 / 11 - 12, cash recipt no. 0623 for rs. 11, 93, 700 / - (Eleven lac ninety three thousand seven hundred only) with assurance that the same is brand new and in good working condition and having no any type of defect.
2. That at the time of purchase mr. Deepak kashyap who is the sales manager of the addressee no. 2 assured my client that the mahindra scorprio is the best one and induce to my client for purchase the same.
3. That immediate after the purchase of the above said scorprio, my client is facing too much problems due to the manufacturing defect in the above said vehicle like 5th gear not working, micro hybrid not working, central locking is not working and all off sudden speed down from 60 km / h to 20 km / h and than pick up problem etc. Etc. For which on 27. 05. 2011, my client inform to sh. Deepak kashyap who is the sales manager and sh. Munish dewan g. M. Sales of the addressee no. 2.
4. That thereafter sh. Deepak kashyap and sh. Munish dewan after checking the problems in the brand new scorprio smartly told to my client that these are minor problems and can be repaired easily by our service station and advised to my client to go at service station.
5. That on 16. 06. 11, when my client went to the service station of the addressee no. 2 at plot no. 61 / 3, site iv, sahibabad industrial area, distt, ghaziabad u. P. And disclosed the problems then some minor problems were removed and some major problems like fifth gear not working, hybrid not working etc were not resolve. On 25. 06. 11 when again my client visited the service station of the addressee no. 2, it was revealed to my client that the 5th gear problem was solved after changing the gear box. Than my client understand that the brand new scorprio purchased by my client is defected one and the brand new defected mahindra scorprio was sold by the addressee no. 2.
6. That my client made the complaint to the addressee no. 2 as well as addressee no. 1 regarding the sale of manufactured defected brand new scorprio and demanded replacement of the said vehicle. But despite the various request and demands you both the addressee did not fulfill the demand of my client till date.
7. That my client says that due to the manufacturing defected scorprio sold to my client, my client is suffering great mental agony.
8. That as the addressee no. 1 assured each and every customer who purchased his vehicle is good and checked by the authorized person of the addressee no. 1. Even than the manufactured defected scorpio was sold out to my client and cheated the hard core money of my client by selling the manufactured defected above said scorprio.
9. That my client says that seeing the goodwill and reputation of the addressee no. 1, my client purchased the mahindra scorprio but due to this reason the addressee no. 1 lost his faith and if his problem will not be solve than the addressee no. 1 completely lost his faith and goodwill in the market.
10. That my client says that he paid his hard core money for purchased of new scorprio instead of purchase of defected scorprio or repaired piece.
11. That my client demanding both of you that either change the above said vehicle or return the entire money of my client with in seven days.
12. That my client is also demanding rs. One lac for facing mental agony and damages.
13. That my client requested you through this legal notice that my client do not want to go on controversy and want to resolve the matter as my client is having blind faith in your company’s goodwill and reputation of the addressee no 1 and in future also if his problem will be solve, the reputation will remain same as at the time of purchasing the your band name vehicle.
You both are hereby finally called upon either replace the above said mahindra scorprio or return the entire money with in seven days. You both are further liable to pay and called upon to pay rs. 1, 00, 000 / - (One lac only) on account of mental agony and damages to my client with in seven days of the receipt of this notice. Failing which my aforesaid client shall be constrained to take appropriate legal action / proceedings in the courts of law at your risk and cost, which please note. Please further note you both may also be prosecuted on account of cheating under section 406 / 420 indian penal code also. You both are also liable to pay rupees 5, 100 / - for legal notice charges to my client.
