I never talked to or had any other interaction, through paper, online, or any other contact with MAJOR ENERGY
I never talked to or had any other interaction, through paper, online, or any other contact with MAJOR ENERGY. I only found out that my Residential Electric "supplier" got changed last month (October ) when I saw last month's bill. My electric supplier got changed to MAJOR ENERGY ELECTRIC SERVICES, 12140 Wickchester Ln, Suite 100, Houston, TX [protected]. I never signed up or agreed to any change for my electric supplier, and I never heard of Major Energy before seeing them on my bill.

Major Energy Services has been showing up on my Duke bill for months now, even though I've called multiple times to cancel
Major Energy Services has been showing up on my Duke bill for months now, even though I've called multiple times to cancel. They haven't canceled yet and they're still charging me on my Duke bill! It's really frustrating and makes me furious! I shouldn't have to pay $200 on my Duke bill! Can someone please help me resolve this issue? - Danielle ***, 08/13/2030
So, I had this door-to-door guy come by claiming he's from the energy company I use
So, I had this door-to-door guy come by claiming he's from the energy company I use. He said something about a refund for everyone in the area because of overcharging. He wanted to see my energy bill, and then he went ahead and used my info to sign me up for a different energy company, Major Energy. The thing is, I never actually signed anything. And get this, while he was holding my phone, he quickly replied to a text sent to my number, confirming that I wanted the change. I told him not to snoop around my texts and that I never wanted to switch services, but he just told me to call customer service. So, I did, and guess what? They told me I had to wait a whopping 5 weeks until I was in their system before I could cancel. Can you believe that?

Last week, a guy came to my door claiming to be from *** and said we were owed a credit. He asked to see my bill, and since I've only been with *** for 2 months, I've never had this happen before. So, I showed him my bill. Something felt strange, so I asked him to leave and said I would call *** myself. I did just that, and they told me that no one would come to our door. They advised me to keep an eye on any changes to our bill. Today, I received a letter from *** in the mail, stating that our supplier has been changed to MAJOR ENERGY SERVICES LLC. I didn't give permission for this, and I don't know how to fix it. I want to switch back to *** and make sure this shady company is dealt with.

Email to Major Energy; [protected]@majorenergy.com I am sending you a notification that I didn't officially renew with Major Energy after my promotion expired in January 2022. Furthermore, I didn't receive notification that you would be renewing your service and didn't give consent to renew. I spoke with UI who advised that my rate increased from 8.29 to 17.99 per kilowatt. I am requesting consideration for a reasonable rate because I didn't approve this rate. Also, I cancelled your service with UI this morning. I have included PURA on this email so they are aware of unfair changes made to my service. This causes financial distress to me and I can't afford this type of increase. Please reply to this email with your response.
I signed up with Major Energy for electric services on 05/3/22
I signed up with Major Energy for electric services on 05/3/22. Rose from Major contacted me on 05/9/22 and said there was a problem with my account. She told me it got terminated on 5/12/22 by PPL. But when I talked to PPL, they said they didn't tell Major about the cancellation. I even have a letter from PPL dated 05/06/22 saying that Major would be my service provider on 05/11/22. I talked to 3 supervisors at Major and 3 customer service reps. They all said I had to apply for services online because they couldn't help me. When I tried to reapply, I saw that the rate had gone up a lot. So I contacted Major again and told them the same thing. Terez said I still had to reapply and he would ask for the original contract terms to be honored. So I reapplied and tried to reach Terez to tell him that the matter needed to go to the contract management department like we talked about before. But Terez wasn't available, so Dianna sent the request to the department. It's weird to me that they terminated my service right when the electric rate went up a lot because of current issues. I think they might have done a bait and switch since I have a contract with Major dated 5/11/22 and a letter from PPL dated 5/6/22 saying that Major would be my electric service provider starting 5/11/22.
On September 19, 2022, I was approached by 2 ladies who said they were giving back for COVID and handing out $25-$50 gift cards and a small gift
On September 19, 2022, I was approached by 2 ladies who said they were giving back for COVID and handing out $25-$50 gift cards and a small gift from a table to people who were receiving government programs like food stamps and energy assistance. I told them I had a food stamp card and asked if this was for an electric company because I'm happy with BGE and not interested in switching. They said no and needed to confirm my enrollment in Energy Assistance. I asked why they couldn't confirm my food stamps since I had my card with me. One of them said they couldn't access DSS's portal. Then, she asked for my ID and made a copy. I reiterated that I wasn't interested in an electric company and asked for the name of their company. She said that information (the name of the company they're giving back) and a $50 gift card would be sent to my email, and I could use the gift card in 3 days. I didn't receive anything from the company in my email. Today, I found out I was enrolled when I got a letter from BGE saying I had signed up. Needless to say, I'm really angry. That's fraudulent. I didn't sign up or agree to sign up for Major Energy Electric Company or any other company, and I didn't sign any papers for a 12-month contract. No one should be allowed to sign people up for electric companies or any other company without their consent. They're using COVID and the promise of gift cards (which is a lie) to get people to enroll. I didn't sign any papers (my daughter can confirm that), and I want to know if any documents were signed on my behalf because that's forgery.
