Mango Products is a business that sells products specially for female to male transsexuals and their turnaround was said to be about a month for people in the United States, but six weeks for over seas. I ordered on a memorable date on purpose so I'd be able to remember the exact order date, and it was September 11th, 2008.
My order, based on their estimate, should have been at my door in October. Because I figured they may be delayed, I gave a week longer, and when I checked the site in November, they posted a notice that their orders would be taking six to eight weeks. By then, it was week nine, and I sent them a kindly worded letter asking that they check up on the status of my order or refund the money. They didn't respond.
Two weeks later, I sent them a similar email, but they didn't respond, either.
Here's the funny thing... On their site, they posted that one hour of responding to emails is ten orders they can't respond to. This, first of all, is bad ethics. Secondly, six to eight weeks is a noticeable thing, because Paypal disputes must be filed within 45 days of payment, which is about six and a half weeks. Because of this, I'm short $100.90 and I can't even buy anything from another prosthetics company.
Only one out of five people I've spoken to have received their orders, and it took two months (February to April). The rest have also received no responses or anything.
This is fraudulent.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
same thing happened to me. i ordered stuff around october and got them on march 28th which is almost 6 months of waiting and they said they will refund me (because i asked for a discount ) since they made we wait for so long. they never respond. its so riculous. also when i got my package. the harness wasn't working right, and one item wasn't as it was describe and showed on their site. and they also said they will include a check in my package but nothing! never respond. i dont recommend this site they are awful! bad customer service, long ridiculous wait. waste of time and money. never ever will do business ever again! they should close!
I have only been waiting for 2 months, but I am already discouraged with them. I have sent e-mails and recieved no response. If there wait time is six months, then that is what the website should post. What a terrible business. I am curious why it takes so long for us to get the product. Where is our money going? To all that reads this: do not waste your time with these people. BUY ELSEWHERE! If I had read these comments I would have never ordered from them. If there is anything we can do to get our money back please someone post it on here. DON"T ORDER FROM THEM! You will be sorry.
they are ###! their testimonial are probably fake because customers cannot access the testimonial section. not only they have over priced merchandise but also but reputation! it is so weird that they make promises that it will arrive or they say they are moving warehouse or what ever reason, IT WON'T TAKE MONTHS! the most I've wait for, for a delivery was a month and it was from germany. they are based in the usa, I think they just spend out hard earn money and or they are just plain lazy to send out the merchandise. we should all gather up and make them pay up for all the hassle they have cost us.

I too have been waiting for an order. I should have checked here before I placed my order. Unfortunately, there seems to be next to nothing else available. If they are as fraudulent as they seem, they should be ashamed for taking advantage of the trans community. There's so little out there. I have been waiting since late January and have received no response. I have been too embarrassed to make any sort of complaint. I think I will have to write this one off as a learning experience- I can only vaguely hope for resolution and that no one else will be waiting in vain like me.
Unfortunately I am not the 'lucky' 20% to receive anything from them.
I made an order 5 weeks ago - even though I am from overseas, I am having it shipped to the US address which should take a 4 weeks (which is already ridiculous to begin with cos most companies ship within 2 weeks) according to their website. Up till now, I have heard nothing from them despite writing in twice. There is no phone number and I only found this complaintsboard because I tried to search for their phone number online.
I am extremely disgusted by the number of people getting their money cheated - the community is already small and very limited resources are available to us, so it makes it really disappointing that someone is doing this - is there nothing we can do about them?
I am not sure if I can file a paypal report to get back my money.

I couldn't file a complaint to paypal because they made me wait more than 45 days.
So that screwed me up. You could still file a complaint since you've ol been waiting for 4 weeks.
It will take months before you get that for sure.

i had sent them 3 letters from the mail and over 20 emails. They had respond twice but they didnt keep their word.
Maybe we could do something to close their website or sue them. the're a lot of us to take them down.
I placed an order back in september of 2008 and I'm still waiting for the order. I've threatened to sue several times and have gotten no response. Sure, they're covered from May to next month as they are "changing management" according to an announcement on their website, but that doesn't explain the several other months that I sent them continuous emails with my order info and no. and got absolutely no response.

It might do some good to speak to Patrick C. Lynch, the Wakefield, Rhode Island Attorney General or the Better Business Bureau. They cannot keep taking advantage of people like this. I spent over $200 at their site and I don't even want my money back, I just want my order and like the OP said, I won't spend money elsewhere until I get my money back from this ordeal. It's really a bummer, something needs to be done.
Same thing happened to me. I ordered in May. I'm in the US so they said wait 4 weeks. I emailed after 5 weeks and received no reply, then again at 6 weeks. Thankfully, I knew about paypal's 45-day rule so I was able to dispute the claim in time. Obviously they tell people to wait that long, ignore emails to drag out the waits even longer, and only accept paypal so they can ignore orders for more than 45 days and then just pocket the cash when the seller finally realizes they've been scammed.
I am so disgusted with Mango Products. I placed an order on May 2, 2009 and it is January 19, 2010 and I still have not received my products.
I would like to know how can we shut this website down. They are a fraudulent company. I have sent emails to no avail. I have searched high and low for a phone number but nothing is listed. I made a complaint to the better business bureau and they didnt even get a response from them.
What kind of company is this. I spent almost $200.00 on their website. I tried to complain to my bank and paypal, but they both told me that I was past the deadline of 45-60 days.
Mango websites said that they are completing all back orders. How long is that. I would like my money back so that I can go somewhere else.
I placed my order with mangoproducts.net on January 29th 2010. At that time I had not read the numerous complaints about this website. Had I known about this I would not have ordered from them. Apparently according to the BBB (USA) there is only one employee, and they have had 32 complaints in the past 12 months. The BBB says that 25 of those have been resolved. I have fortunately contacted PayPal and have opened a dispute with them saying I have not received the item purchased.
This is sad considering the small population of people which would go to a company for the type of products they sell.
If I do not receive either the products I ordered, or a refund in a timely fashion, I will update my complaint here and move up a step and open a civil suit against the company.
Is there anyone who has posted a compliant that would like to help and or take mangoproducts to court as i have been waiting over 4 months now. They did get in contact via E-mail saying they would refund or send my item out within 5 days as i had moved house since i ordered and that was over two months ago. They have not got in contact since and i have sent them over 20 E-mails all stating in the title that this was URGENT! Please if anyone is interested i think that we could really do something about this as they have screwed over so many people.

I wish I had found this complaints board before I ordered a mango product. They seem to have opened a new site, selling the same items with the same M.O. of not responding to emails and you get no products even after they take your money : ftm-stp.com. They need to be stopped and I think it's disgraceful the way that they are the first company that shows up in a web-search but no one can be bothered to answer an email. They should be required to have a regular post address, though I'm sure they avoid this because an actual paper trail would reveal their criminal practices to the law. I'm disputing my purchase in pay-pal since finding this page and receiving total lack of any communication from them.
Update: Since I opened a depute in time, pay-pal gave me a refund. Just got an email confirming this. I'm hoping this can be of help to others.
Yes but when you order from overseas it takes more than 6 weeks for stuff to get here so.. like me.. its not possible to complain to Paypal as its no longer valid after 45 days.
Unless apparently there are numerous complaints to paypal about the same company.
However in this case it has not seemed to have changed anything for me though I told paypal there were numerous complaints against this company they have still not written back to me.

The customer service I talked to was extremely rude and horrible. Not only she interrupted me, but she talked over me without stopping. This is NOT how a customer should do. Very rude, super disrespectful. I would never buy anything from Mango again because of the crappy customer service I received.
I returned a product in store, on 6th Dec. Its been more than 12 working days, I still haven’t received my refund. The customer service is absolutely pathetic, I am so disappointed I am never ordering ever again!
I have purchased a mango flats last December 2022 but whenever I use to wear it to places with EVS it beeps as if I have shoplifted. It’s really embarrassing because every time the security comes running towards me and checks everything. It’s creating a negative image of me and now am mentally disturbed thinking about it.
