Marine Part Depot Review: Use Credit Card for Protection, No PayPal Option, Better to Shop Elsewhere
I agree with what others have said about Marine Part Depot. It's best to use your credit card when making purchases from this site. That way, if something goes wrong and you don't receive your merchandise, you'll only be liable for up to $50. I've spent a few hundred dollars with this company and unfortunately, I've had to claim refunds for about half of the items I've ordered. It's frustrating to not receive what you paid for, but at least with a credit card, you have some protection.
One thing I've noticed is that Marine Part Depot doesn't offer a Pay-Pal option on their site. I'm not sure why, but it does make me a bit wary. It's always nice to have multiple payment options, especially when dealing with a company you're not familiar with.
Overall, my advice would be to pay a bit more and go with a more reputable company. While Marine Part Depot may have some good deals, the hassle of dealing with refunds and missing items just isn't worth it. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.
Top-Notch Quality and Free Shipping: My Positive Experience with Marine Part Depot
I gotta say, I was pretty shocked when I saw all the negative reviews for Marine Part Depot. But let me tell you, my experience was nothing but positive. I snagged myself four 10" stainless cleats and two 6" stainless bow chocks from these guys, and let me tell you, the price was right and the quality was top-notch.
Now, I ain't no expert when it comes to boat parts, but even I could tell that these cleats were something special. They were perfectly proportioned and polished to a T. And the chocks? Don't even get me started. They were just as good, if not better.
And let's talk about delivery. I was expecting to wait a while for my order to arrive, but it showed up at my door in no time flat. And the best part? Shipping was free. Can't beat that.
Now, I can't speak to the quality of anything else on their site, but if you're in the market for some cleats or chocks, I'd say go for it. These guys know what they're doing.
Marine Part Depot Review: Good Selection and Prices, but Slow Delivery and Lack of Communication
This company, Marine Part Depot, has some good things going for it. They have a great selection of hardware and their prices are pretty good too. When you make a payment, they quickly apply it and give you a tracking number. That's all well and good, but if you're expecting your order to arrive anytime soon, you might want to think again. It seems like they take forever to actually deliver your order.
Another issue with this company is their lack of communication. They don't respond to emails and their voicemail is always full. It's frustrating when you're trying to get in touch with them and you can't. It makes you wonder if they're even a real company or if they're just some kind of scam.
Luckily, I paid with Paypal when I ordered from them. After a month of waiting with no product or responses, I was able to get a refund through Paypal. I'm glad I used them as a payment method because I don't think I would have gotten my money back otherwise.
Overall, I would say that you should be cautious when ordering from Marine Part Depot. They have some good things going for them, but their slow delivery and lack of communication make them a risky choice. If you do decide to order from them, make sure you use a payment method that offers some kind of protection in case things go wrong.
Buyer Beware: Inconsistent Delivery and Poor Customer Service
Their prices are pretty good, but I gotta warn ya, they don't always deliver what you pay for. I tried them out with a small order and most of the parts showed up, but there were a few missing (nothing major, luckily I had some spares). So I figured, hey, maybe it was just a fluke and decided to place a bigger order. Big mistake. They took all my money and only delivered less than half of what I ordered. I tried emailing them and calling their number, but no one ever answered. Instead, I just kept getting these email promos for an extra 15-20% off, which is pretty useless when you can't even get the parts you paid for in the first place. So yeah, I'd say stay away from these guys.
Mixed Experience with Marine Part Depot: Great Cleats, Poor Cabinet Hardware and Missing Hinges
I've bought stuff from Marine Part Depot twice. The first time was on ebay like 6 years ago. I got some cleats and they were great. They looked good and still do. The second time was on their website about a year ago. I got some hinges and cabinet hardware. But when I got the package, it was missing half the hinges I ordered. And the stuff that did come looked kinda cheap. I tried to get in touch with them a bunch of times but they never got back to me. So I got ripped off for like 4 stainless hinges.
Marine Part Depot Review: Fast Shipping and Accurate Order, Despite Lack of Communication
I recently made a purchase from Marine Part Depot for some bimini parts. At first, I was a bit worried because I didn't receive any confirmation about when my parts would be shipped. However, just a few days after placing my order, my parts arrived at my doorstep in Massachusetts. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were exactly what I had ordered and were shipped via 2-day shipping all the way from California.
Before receiving my parts, I tried calling the company to confirm some details, but unfortunately, I was met with a recording that didn't even mention the name of the company. This made me a bit skeptical, especially after seeing some negative reviews about their customer support online.
However, in my case, I had a completely different experience. The parts I received were of excellent quality and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Despite the initial lack of communication, I was impressed with the speedy shipping and the accuracy of my order.
Overall, I would recommend Marine Part Depot to anyone in need of marine parts. While their customer support may not be perfect, their products speak for themselves. I will definitely be a returning customer in the future.
Unresponsive and Unreliable: A Warning About Marine Part Depot
Our company was in dire need of a specific style of drain and we were lucky enough to stumble upon Marine Part Depot's website. We were ecstatic to find what we needed, but unfortunately, the part we received was mislabeled and turned out to be the wrong size. However, we were in a bind and decided to modify what we had been using for years to fit this drain.
Despite this initial setback, we decided to give MPD another chance and placed another order. We paid for our order, but to our dismay, we never received any confirmation. We were left in the dark and had no idea what was going on with our order. Frustrated and desperate for parts, we decided to order through Amazon as a last resort. However, even with Amazon, we were informed that the shipping date had been delayed, leaving us unsure if we would ever receive our parts.
To make matters worse, MPD has been unresponsive to our emails and calls. It's been a nightmare trying to get in touch with them and we've been left feeling like we're just another customer they don't care about. We strongly advise others to avoid this company as they have been a major pain in the a*** to deal with.
Warning: Scam Alert! Do Not Order from This Website - No Delivery, No Response, No Refund
This place is not good. When you order from their website, they send you an email saying your order is confirmed and your PayPal gets charged. But that's it. You won't get anything from them after that. I ordered almost $400 worth of whaler stainless items, but I never got them. I sent them many emails, but they never replied. And you can't even call them because they don't answer the phone. This is a total scam. The FBI should investigate them for interstate wire fraud. You should stay away from this place. I had to file a claim with Visa, and thankfully, Visa reversed the charges. Their website is just there to take your money. It's a total scam. This fraudulent commerce site needs to be taken down.
Hit or Miss Customer Service: My Experience with Marine Parts Depot
I've been a loyal customer of Marine Parts Depot for the past 5 years or so, and I must say that I've had a pretty good experience overall. I've made over 20 purchases from them during this time, and I've never had any issues until a few months ago. Unfortunately, I received an incorrect part in my order, and despite my attempts to contact them via phone and email, I was unable to get it corrected. In the end, I had to dispute the charge and was reimbursed.
Despite this setback, I decided to give them another chance and made 5 more purchases from them since then. And I'm happy to report that all of these purchases went smoothly without any issues. That is until last week when I placed an order for various parts worth $75. My credit card was charged, but I haven't received anything yet, and no tracking number has been provided. I've tried calling them multiple times, but all I get is a voicemail message saying "Mail Box is full - goodbye." I've also sent them 3 emails, but I haven't received any response.
It's been almost 2 weeks since I placed my order, and I'm starting to get frustrated. I've decided that if I don't hear back from them soon, I'll have to dispute the charges via my credit card. It's a shame because they offer good products at a fair price, but their customer service is really crappy.
Overall, I would say that Marine Parts Depot is a decent place to buy marine parts, but you need to be prepared for the occasional hiccup. They have a good selection of stainless parts, and their prices are reasonable. However, their customer service can be hit or miss, and you may have to be persistent to get what you need. If you're willing to take that risk, then I would recommend giving them a try.
Marine Part Depot Review: Quality Products at Affordable Prices with Possible Shipping Delays
I ordered some stainless rail fittings from Marine Part Depot on November 27th and received them on December 24th. The website said that the shipping would take 3 days with priority mail. The only negative thing about my experience was the delay in shipment. It was a bit confusing because my order was charged on November 30th and I was given a USPS tracking number at that time. However, the parts were not actually delivered to the shipper until December 20th. But, they were sent 3 day priority mail as originally stated.
Despite the delay, the parts I received were of high quality and the price was up to 50% lower than competitors. Plus, the shipping was free! So, if you're not in a hurry, it's a great deal. But if you need your parts fast, don't count on it! I assume it's a matter of what's in stock (if anything) and what has to wait to arrive by the slow boat from China.
I wasn't in any hurry, so I was quite happy with my purchase. I guess you save your money and take your chances. Overall, I would recommend Marine Part Depot for their quality products and affordable prices. Just be prepared for a possible delay in shipping.

Disappointing Experience with Marine Part Depot: Rusted Parts and Ignored Emails
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with my experience at Marine Part Depot. I ordered me some stainless steel parts - three of 'em to be exact. But wouldn't ya know it, two of those parts ended up rustin' on me. And to top it off, the third part was downright defective. Ain't that just my luck?
Now, I ain't one to give up easily. So I followed them instructions on the site and sent that defective part back to 'em via FedEx. I even got me a receipt to prove it. But here's the kicker - them folks at Parts Depot have been ignorin' my emails left and right. And to this day, I still ain't seen no refund for them defective parts.
I reckon it ain't right for a company to treat their customers like this. I mean, I paid good money for them parts and I expect 'em to work like they're supposed to. But instead, I got me a whole lotta hassle and nothin' to show for it.
So if y'all are thinkin' of doin' business with Marine Part Depot, I'd think twice 'bout it. 'Cause if my experience is any indication, you might just end up with rusted parts and a whole lotta frustration.
Disappointing Experience with Marine Part Depot: Wrong Parts and No Response on Returns
I recently made a purchase on Marine Part Depot's website for some parts that I needed for my boat. I spent a total of $185 on the parts, but unfortunately, when they arrived, they were all wrong. I was pretty disappointed, but I decided to follow the instructions on their website for returns.
It's been about 8 weeks since I mailed the merchandise back to them, and according to the tracking number, they received it in just 4 days. However, I haven't heard anything from them since then. I've been sending emails and calling them every day for the past 2 weeks, but I haven't received any response from them.
Overall, I'm pretty frustrated with my experience with Marine Part Depot. I would rate them a -10 if I could. It's really disappointing to spend so much money on something and not have it work out. I hope they can get back to me soon and resolve this issue.
Marine Part Depot Review: Scam Alert - Avoid at All Costs
I ain't gonna lie, I was pretty excited when I found Marine Part Depot online. I needed some boat parts and they had a good selection at decent prices. I placed my order and they charged my card right away, which I thought was a good sign. They even gave me a tracking number, so I was feeling pretty good about the whole thing.
But then, nothing. I waited and waited, but my parts never showed up. I tried calling them, but their mailbox was always full. I sent them emails, but they never responded. I was starting to get pretty frustrated.
Finally, I had enough and decided to file a fraud report with my bank. They were able to give me my money back, but it was a huge hassle. I wouldn't recommend Marine Part Depot to anyone. They're a scam outfit and you should avoid them at all costs.

Unreliable and Dishonest: My Experience with Marine Part Depot
I had a bad experience with Marine Part Depot. They sent me the wrong item and charged me too much for it. I tried to contact them through email and voice mail, but they didn't respond. It seems like they are not an honest company. When I tried to leave a message, their voice mail box was full. I don't recommend this company to anyone. Even though their prices are cheap, it's not worth the risk. I lost $20, but I know that many other people have lost much more. If you're thinking about buying from Marine Part Depot, read the reviews first.
Warning: Terrible Customer Service and No Delivery from Marine Part Depot
I bought some parts from Marine Part Depot on May 12th, 2020. It's been a long time since then, like 5 months, and I still haven't got my parts. I've sent them a bunch of emails, but they never write back. I tried calling them too, but their mailbox is full and no one ever picks up the phone. I'm pretty mad about it, 'cause I spent $34.00 on those parts and now it seems like I'm never gonna get them. I'm just glad I didn't give them any more money. I don't think you should buy anything from this seller, 'cause it seems like they don't care about their customers.
Unreliable Customer Service: My Experience with Marine Part Depot
So, I ordered some stuff from Marine Part Depot and it was pretty easy. No big deal, just a regular order. But then I decided to order something else, something smaller, and I never got it. I got a confirmation for USPS, but that was it. I tried to get in touch with them, but they never replied. I mean, come on, that's not cool.
But I'm not giving up. I'm gonna keep trying to get in touch with them until they talk to me. And once I have all their contact info, I'm gonna post it online. I mean, if they're not gonna reply to me, maybe they'll reply to someone else. And if they don't, well, at least other people will know what they're getting into when they order from Marine Part Depot.
Disappointing Quality and Lack of Communication: My Experience with Marine Part Depot
I've been ordering from Marine Part Depot for a while now, since they first started up back in [protected]. Back then, I was pretty happy with the stuff I got from them. But lately, I've been having some issues with the quality of their products. And when I tried to reach out to the merchant or the owner, Steven Lui, I didn't get any response at all.
The last time I ordered something from them was back in December of 2019. Unfortunately, I had to file a claim with PayPal to get a full refund because I just couldn't get any communication from the merchant or Steven Lui. It was really frustrating, and it made me feel like I couldn't trust them anymore.
I don't think I'll be buying anything from Marine Part Depot again. It's a shame, because I used to really like their stuff. But if they can't even bother to respond to their customers when there's a problem, then I don't see how I can trust them to provide me with quality products.
Terrible Experience with Marine Part Depot - Unresponsive and Unreliable
I had a really bad experience with Marine Part Depot. I tried to contact them multiple times, but they never answered my calls or emails. I even tried leaving a message, but their mailbox was always full. I ordered some parts from them and they debited my account, but I never received the parts. It's like they fell into a big black hole or something. I wouldn't recommend buying from them, but if you do, make sure to use a credit card or pay-pal so you have some recourse. These guys are a bunch of idiots. My order number was yhst***1828. Maybe if they see this review, they'll try to make it right, but I doubt it.
Mixed Experience with Marine Part Depot: Good for Small Orders, but Be Prepared for Hassle with Larger Ones
I gotta say, my first experience with Marine Part Depot was pretty good. I only spent $30, but everything came in just fine. But then, I decided to take a chance and put in a bigger order for around $200. And wouldn't you know it, they messed up a few of the parts. Like, they sent the right amount, but some of them were just not what I ordered.
So, I started calling and emailing them every week for like three months. I mean, I was always friendly about it, but it was starting to get pretty frustrating. Finally, they got back to me and made it right. But man, it took a lot of time and effort on my part.
I guess what I'm saying is, if you're willing to take a gamble and spend a lot of time on the phone and computer if they mess up, then you might be able to get some really good prices from these guys. But if you're not up for that kind of hassle, you might want to look elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with Marine Part Depot: Missing Item and Poor Customer Service
I made an order on October 31st for 2 double cup stainless steel holders with base from Marine Part Depot. Unfortunately, I only received one of the holders. I tried to reach out to the vendor, but their voicemail was always full, and I didn't receive any response to my three emails. I was so frustrated that I decided to drive 1.5 hours to the vendor's address, only to find out that it was just a PO Box!
I am very disappointed with my experience with Marine Part Depot. I paid $95 for two holders, but I only received one. I don't know what happened to the other holder, and I couldn't get any answers from the vendor. I feel like I have been scammed.
Steve Liu is the owner of Marine Part Depot, also known as Turqois Inc. I don't know if this is a legitimate business or a scam. All I know is that I didn't get what I paid for, and I had to contact my credit card company to get a refund for the missing item.
Overall, I would not recommend Marine Part Depot to anyone. Their customer service is non-existent, and their business practices are questionable. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reputable vendor for your marine parts needs.

This company accepted my order via website. They instantly accept credit card.
They then send an email with a USPS tracking number but do not ship the item(s).
Running the tracking number via USPS website, it states a shipping label was created and awaiting item. Days become weeks and the item never ships. Numerous attempts to phone and email the company, but absolutely no reply or response whatsoever.
Several hundred dollars have been taken from my account and I did not receive my items as agreed. This should be a felony and charges should be filed.
my order
I recently ordered several parts from the website. Nothing showed up. I received a text from an individual who said they showed up at his house in another state. I have tried repeatedly to email and call the company. No answer/No response. If you don't believe me PLEASE try to call them before you make an order. No one will answer! Still no resolution. Terrible company ethics.
I placed several orders with this company. Some arrived some did not. I too received an email stating USPS shipping label created but then nothing. Over a week later after several attempts to phone and email, I receive absolutely no response. The poor [censored] must have passed away. I suggest not placing any orders from this company as it's apparent they no longer exist.
order parts on 05/02/2018 - I have not received the parts. I have called x 3 and left a voice mail, also emailed with no response
I ordered several parts on 05/01/2018 ($46.68) from Marine Part Depot, order number [protected]-101931 with the correct billing and shipping address. I have not received any communication from Marine Part Depot, except a email on 05/08/2018 that a shipment details for my parts with the USPS. The tracking number is 940551169900744557047, which I have tracked and per the instructions it has not been submitted into the USPS. I have called several times and left a x3 voice mails. Most of the time when I call the voicemail box is full and cannot accept and phone calls. I have left a email and again no response. I was up in the area, and I tried to locate Marine Part Depot and I could not find the location, per my iPhone apple maps. I am frustrated with the lack of communication and no parts being delivered.

Good product selection and prices on their website, but appears to be a fraudulent website that takes orders and promptly processes charges but never ships the item(s). They fake you out by sending a USPS shipping number, but it is a pre-shipment notification only, and they do not subsequently ship. Does not respond to email or phone calls. Do not waste your time or money on these theives. Reported for fraud with CC company.

I can't contact the seller. I got wrong parts
Stay as far as possible from the company www.marinepartdepot.com. I have ordered boat parts from them, but all of them were wrong and wasn’t what I ordered from them. I called them, but there was only machine voice. I left messages, but no one called me back. I tried again couple of days ago, but the mail box was full and it was really impossible to contact the seller. Any ideas what to do next?
Fake parts, no refund
I ordered different parts for my house from the company Marine Part Depot/ Turquois Inc. All parts were defective or broken, so I returned the order back. The seller promised to return my money back, but it was lie and fake excuses. He never replied to my emails and phone calls, so I still haven’t received my money back. Maybe someone has any ideas how to return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.
Hi Folks...I have ordered from this company 4 times now and always received my parts in a very timely manner (like 4 days max).
The Pros: The quality of the parts is very good and attention to detail is also good. Shipping has always been free in my experience and they run many 15% off periods on already hugely discounted parts. You simply can't touch these parts for this price anywhere.
The Cons:That being said, the customer service in terms of communication sucks. I did receive some pelican lifeline hooks with the wrong thread and not as advertised. I tried to return them but communication was a flat zero and I don't simply return parts, I don't care what the policy is. I wound up with the parts for free not once but twice.
In summary...I wish these folks would get their act together as I truly would like to see them survive. I don't understand why people complaining on here simply don't file a dispute with their charge card company. Only one person gets hurt here and it is the company. As far as I can see I have nothing to lose as long as the quality is good which it always seems to be. ...I am happy to discuss my experience and I do NOT work for these guys in any way...
