solitaire credit card
I had subscribed for a solitaire credit card through one of the sales person
who mentioned that card is free for life time . However later I found through the website of the bank that card is chargeable and asked the card to be cancelled, before activating the same . However even after one month from making this request, I am getting messages stating that my request is under process and stating that complaint is registered . Please look into this matter and cancel my credit card and ask your sales personnel not to mis guide the customers.

No sense of responsibility and doesn't give a care to its client's concern! I followed the procedure/process of my request for 15 LONG WORKING DAYS but til today the 15th day I didn't receive my request! Followed with Pritti if retention department since she's the incharge of my concern but was just running around the bushes! Promised to call me on the same day at 2:30 pm but no call or any update from her and the bank regarding my request! Even before the said date I called the customer care and Pritti to make it urgent and a favor but to no avail!
Such a horrible banking experience with this bank! A waste of time dealing with people who doesn't care about their client at all after getting the business!

We have now left Dubai but on the 28th of Oct and 23rd of Nov My wife and I visited your branches to close the account. On the first occasion, we were assured that the accounts would be closed after we had withdrawn the remaining amount to create zero balance.
Then by chance, I visited the branch on the second occasion to discover that 2 AED needs to be paid to close the account. Again I was assured the account would be closed and we would be notified via text. I explained the number on the account was not activate I was advised to check online and the accounts would appear closed. Well to my surprise we have checked and they are open! So can you explain what one person has to do to close the account? I am in the process of contact the government authorities to raise a formal complaint. wire transfer / uncleared funds into fiduciary account since 3de september 2019
We made a wire transfer for lease/storage on the 3rd September 2019 from US Bank account to our Supplier`s fiduciary account held at Mashreq Bank UAE. Funds have not been received for a long period of time, where we had no other choice but the lodge official complaint to DFS to investigate the matter. After the formal complaint to the Department of Financial Services in the US, they had Mashreq bank New York confirm transfer have been completed and funds credited to the Suppliers fiduciary account held at Mashreq Bank UAE on the 5th September 2019. However 68 Days have since passed and still our Supplier claim they have not received the funds in their fiduciary account held at Mashreq Bank UAE. After multiple attempts we are not able to get any response from Mashreq Bank UAE (Head Office) to assist/resolve or open Bank to Bank communication to address the matter. This payment is holding up a large transaction and suffering financial and reputational losses daily. We ask Mashreq Bank UAE (Head Office) to assist us for we have exhausted all efforts.
pay protection insurance
Mashreq bank charged me Dh:484.11 for Pay Protect Insurance, they called me without explaining clearly about the charges (now they say its variable) which I thought would be free. When I made a complaint about it, they said they have cancelled the service but denied for reversal of the amount.
We are receiving every day several calls from sales promotion team when they say it's from bank naturally we will take the calls, they will explain in detail about the feature of the product and other things but they don't talk clearly about the charges.
After several calls also bank not ready to reverse the charges, I feel 0.99% per month on the outstanding balance is ridiculous.
I sincerely request please take an initiative to stop them from activating anything like this by verbal consent. It should be either by written or SMS request. And please support me for getting a reversal from the bank.

Now I have offer from dubai. I know bank already filled the case in police or court against me. I am humble request to withdraw the case I have planing to come and start payments. I am coming in mid of november 2019. So please with draw the case against me.

credit card settlement issue
my Self Mr. Praveen, i had Mashreq Novo (5241... 3483) and smart saver card (5241 ...5105) which both i have closed on April 2018. but now
also i am receiving statements which shows a minimum balance i have to pay and also now there is some additional
charges no showing in the latest statement as late payment fine.
Mashreq bank has already provided me the non-liability certificate in April which you can find in the attachment. i have given this details to the legal department of Mashreq and is being following up from that date but still there is no solution and i am getting statements with fines increased every month.

fraud happened to my savings account in mashreq bank

A fraud happened to my Mashreq bank account in UAE .
I would like to raise an issue to get my hard earned savings. I have been constantly requesting the bank to help me, but no one is responding properly.
I am disputing the transactions of AED 37, 500/- that were debited fraudulently to my account without my authorization. Following are the detail description of my complain regarding the fraudulent happened .
On 21/7/2019 :-My account has been debited with the sum of AED 37, 500 and the same day fraud of this amount has been reported to the customer care (Reference No-REF 3954125-P4R8N5).
I would like to bring your attention towards this and till date my Dispute Reference number 70211 has not been resolved.
On 21/07/19 :- Itself around 4 o clock (Afternoon) I visited Mashreq branch of Internet city but, the branch was closed .From there itself I called the customer care and confirmed them about the fraud happened and blocked the card at the same time .
On 22/07/19 :- I have visited your internet city branch again and have met one of the customer service representative at the branch and I have been told that don't worry madam all these amount are still showing unclaimed and you have already complained and blocked your card then the bank will not authorize the amount .
I have been advised by the customer service representative to call the Customer care and I did the same, the customer care confirmed about the fraud and told that somebody has tried to withdraw all the cash and the amount will be on hold and no body can take it since it is a fraud .
On 22/07/19 :- I have forwarded the dispute mail at 20:54 Dubai Timings to the email dispute@mashreq.com
On 23/07/19 I have sent the reminder to the bank at 09:45 a.m. Dubai timing and I didn't get any response.
On 23/07/19 I have sent the reminder again to the bank at 15:27 p.m. Dubai timing and I didn't get any response.
On 28/07/19 I called the customer care once again and I was updated that the merchant has claimed the money from the Bank on 23/07/19 and, I was suggested by the customer care again I have sent the same mail requesting for action at 21:23 p.m. Dubai timing.
Sorry to say but Its bit frustrating and I would like to raise the following issues with the bank.
• When I have reported for fraud on 21st of July (the same day fraudulent happened ), and I blocked the card then how can the Bank allow the transaction to happen on 23/07/19.
• It means the issues which I have addressed to the bank were not taken on priority basis and my request were kept in the Junks.
On 29/07/19 I visited the branch in Internet city again and expressed my concerns.
On 29/07/19 I got a mail from FRMUDisputeform@mashreq.com stating that they are in receipt of the form and the dispute reference No is 70211.
On 01/08/19 Visited the Internet city branch and I was told by the customer service representative to call the customer care center once again.
As a customer I would like to urge from the bank that this was the Fraud happened and it was all done online. And I was at my Workplace when this happened.
It might be a small amount for bank, but for me it was my hard earned money which I kept for my children's school fees. Cancelled my planned vacation due to loss of my hard earned money.
It's really alarming to a working lady that anybody can take the hard earned money from the bank thus making this whole secure system uncertain.
Customers need not to have faith and this miss-happening is thus spoiling the relationship between the Bank and the customer. It means our system and Money which are our hard-earned money can vanish with the Frauds at any time.
After all these I would like to make a humble request from the Bank to please take the necessary action so that I can get back my money which is a huge amount for me as I have saved this for My children's School Fee and the vacation. Due to this miss- happening we have cancelled our vacation.
I am struggling hard to get back my hard earned money .
Please help me to get my hard earned money to take care of my children's education.

I am muthuraman.I am having mashreq credit card.Every month in my statement 350AED charged for pay protection policy. Actually it is unwanted charge.Mashreq
representative never inform properly about this policy.They're very fast communication and explaination with customers.Customer can't understanding about the policy.It will be consider as cheating. Anyhow kindly cancel this pay protect policy immediately. Actually I don't have employment in UAE. Now I am in India.

I hold a Mashreq Bank Credit Card, While leaving dubai in March 2018 I placed a request to close my card. Executive at that time said it is life time free please don't close it.
At later i took some amount from card and successfully paid everything and stoped using the card.
Now i started receiving some VAT related Monthly statements on asking via email or Complaint portal no one ever replies.

In the past 3 months I have visited the Al Qusais Branch twice for a loan top up and my request has been rejected twice without mentioning any reason. I used to deal with Mr. Mohammed Arif, but since he was on medical leave he recommended his colleague Mr. Junaid who simply couldn't be bother to give me any details about the rejection. I told Mr. Arif that I am not happy with Mr. Junaid poor customer service and he told me he will speak with him. One application no is: 4365057 and the other one unfortunatelly I do not have it
Second time when I attempted for a loan-top Mr. Junaid was even worst than the first time as he couldn't even be bother to let me know the progress of my request and replied via Whats's up: "I am busy." and never contacted me again.
I have tried my best not to disturb your staff too much, but since it was more than 10 days and no updates about my request I contacted him to find out more information.
But he was simply too busy to be bothered to check my application.
Never in all my 11 years with Mashreq I met such a rude, unhelpful and unpleasant employee as Mr. Junaid. He is constantly frowning, extremely stressed and any interaction with him is so useless. A complete waste of time and energy.
I got so fed up with your rude staff that overnight I have decided to join Emirates Islamic.
When I went to visit Mr. Arif for the liability letter he told me that 11 years with Mashreq is not much since he is having faithful clients with 12, 15 and even 20 years .
I really fail to understand this ongoing rudeness and your staff delivers constantly. 11years with mashreq means nothing to you because you have older clients anyways?!
What do you hope to achieve with such a stupid comment?! Untill the last minute your staff will not get satisfaction unless they make a nasty comment. But how sad and mean can your employees be?
I asked Mr. Arif about the reason for my rejected loan top up and he told me because of scoring... I did not understand much but wanted to know why i was not informed that my loan was rejected and he told me its the Bank Policy. Meaning if the loan is rejected you simply cannot be bother to communicate to the customer and when I try to find out any updates the answer: "I am busy." can ever be considered acceptable?
I am really happy I shifted to Emirates Islamic and any other Bank anywhere in the world can deliver a much better customer service and has better train employees.
The way Mashreq employees treats its customers lately is simply despicable and unacceptable.
Although I will not be a Mashreq customer for long because of your rude and unhelpful staff I would really like to recommend you to improve your customer service by keeping a very clear and concise communication with all your customer at all times even if their request is rejected is still your duty to communicate not to let the client wonder what happened and also your front desk staff at least in Al Qusais branch should go under proper customer service training and understand that certain comments such: "I am busy." without any follow up is a total lack of interest and respect towards the client. And all other nasty, unnecessary comments will not help you gain clients or improve your relationship with your clients.
Your employees real need to polish their language skills and learn to address customers respectfully and keep an open and clear communication. It is the only way forward.

mashreq menace / eid holiday in june cost aed 1300
Uae government's generous gesture of offering 5 day holidays for eid ul fitr was an opportunity for the bank to get richer by aed 1300.
My card statement for may 2019 had a total outstanding of aed 2295.75 with a payment due date of 06june2019. As a sincere customer with an excellent track record and ontime payment for the last several years, I decided to remit the full payment on 02june2019 through the routine online banking transaction.
However, I was shocked to receive a whopping interest charges of aed 880 in july statement and another aed 400 in august. Little did I realize that even online banking goes on holiday during the eid period. Apparently the amount transferred on 02june was credited to the card only on 08june, 2 days behind the deadline thus leading to an interest charges of aed 1300 approximately.
While the customer service has refused to refund the amount, I hope the bank will consider this as a genuine case and refund the amount.
