Myself raised the Dispute Transaction complaint on 19.01.2024 13.50 HRS vide Case REF [protected]-K5M9S4 upon receipt of transaction confirmation email / SMS from Mashreq Bank.
Transaction Amount (AED): 120.68,118.16,120.68,120.68,120.68 TOTAL AED 600.88
1. Transaction Amount (AUD): 47.00 at ROZITA RAHMANI MALVERN EAST AU ON 19.01.2024 TIME 12.07 PM - RECEIVED EMAIL AT 19.01.2024 TIME 1:24 PM.
2. Transaction Amount (AUD): 48.00 at ROZITA RAHMANI MALVERN EAST AU ON 19.01.2024 TIME 12.07 PM - RECEIVED EMAIL AT 19.01.2024 TIME 1:25 PM.
3. Transaction Amount (AUD): 48.00 at PRASANNA WIJEWARDENA NARRE WARREN AU ON 19.01.2024 TIME 12.07 PM - RECEIVED EMAIL AT 19.01.2024 TIME 1:25 PM.
4. Transaction Amount (AUD): 48.00 at ROZITA RAHMANI MALVERN EAST AU 19.01.2024 TIME 12.07 PM - RECEIVED EMAIL AT 19.01.2024 TIME 1:25 PM
5. Transaction Amount (AUD): 48.00 at PRASANNA WIJEWARDENA NARRE WARREN AU ON 19.01.2024 TIME 12.08 PM - RECEIVED EMAIL AT 19.01.2024 TIME 1:25 PM.
As per the the below mentioned from Mashreq Bank [protected]@mashreq.com, that their findings reveal that the disputed transaction(s) were performed under 3D Secure environment,
But, I didn't use my PIN or I did not get any OTP from the Bank or I did not use my card physically, All transactions happened in 1 minute, i Really don't understand how the transaction happened without my proper authentication. Even while trying to connect with Mashreq Bank Customer care i cannot connect without telephone banking activation code, but how such transactions happened without proper authentication.
It's purely an online scam / crime, when I noticed the email about such transactions, I was in my office and immediately within a few minutes called the Mashreq Bank customer service and raised the complaint and blocked my credit card.
We people always believe in bank security for our financial transactions, the below mail really makes me worry and I don't get a secure feeling of having an account / credit card with Mashreq Bank.
Considering the above fact, I request your team to re-investigate the case and refund my hard earned money immediately.
