I've been waiting for my stuff to be delivered for 15 days now
I've been waiting for my stuff to be delivered for 15 days now. I tried calling, but no one answered. And when they finally did, they were really rude and not professional at all.
Original quote was 1500$ and now I paid an extra 1400$ for an extra box and two small plastic stools
Original quote was 1500$ and now I paid an extra 1400$ for an extra box and two small plastic stools. The movers made me wait at home all day today and I missed work. Terrible service. The delivery service was rude.
This company did a bad job with their services
This company did a bad job with their services. They told me one price, but then raised it by $350. I still haven't gotten my stuff after 23 days. Nobody answers the phones or calls me back. Don't use this company.
I was kinda unsure about using Master Moving 'cause of the reviews I saw online
I was kinda unsure about using Master Moving 'cause of the reviews I saw online. But man, they moved all my stuff from San Diego CA to Knoxville TN and nothing got messed up, and they did it in just a week! I gotta give a big shoutout to J and the whole crew at Master Moving. And get this, it was only half the price of other moving companies. So stoked!
This company is not recommended!
This company is not recommended! They are dishonest! They gave me a price for 19 items, but on the day of pickup, they increased the price by $1400 for the same items. When I refused to pay the extra cost and asked them to remove my belongings from the truck, Juan called his boss. His boss instructed them to charge me $1500 to unload my things, claiming they couldn't bring them back upstairs. It's frustrating! I told them I would retrieve my own belongings, but they closed the truck door. In the end, they left with a bed, a dresser, a nightstand, and some clothes when I refused to pay the $1500. Avoid booking with this company. They stopped answering calls at the office, and when I requested a refund of my $619 deposit, he told me to take him to court.
I used this company to move across the country
I used this company to move across the country. When they came to pick up my stuff, they charged me an extra thousand dollars because they didn't calculate the items correctly. When my belongings were delivered, all of my glass boxes were broken. I also discovered that a very important piece of luggage was missing. I contacted the drop-off company, but they couldn't find it in their warehouse and told me to call Master Moving. I spoke to a woman named Lupe, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me that if I had an attitude, I should go somewhere else to solve my problem and just file a claim because they had no idea where my luggage was. Whenever I called them after that, they would hang up on me like I was a spam caller. They don't take responsibility for any damages because they simply don't care about the customer. It seems like they're only there to collect a paycheck. Now I've lost my luggage and it feels like they don't care at all. Even the person I spoke to about my claim has been ignoring me since the day of the pickup when I mentioned the extra charge. They blocked my number automatically! I will never use their services again. I've lost money, important items (which I can only assume they stole), and most importantly, my time.
You gotta make up your mind about Master Moving Inc
You gotta make up your mind about Master Moving Inc. They gave me an email quote for about $2300, door to door, using their own drivers and trucks. I gave them the exact weights and dimensions for my brand new furniture. But guess what? The final cost ended up being over $5500. Can you believe it?
I told them to pick up the furniture from a big warehouse in Ontario, CA anytime between 11 and 5, except for Wednesdays. But those pick up drivers couldn't follow simple instructions. The warehouse didn't even open until 11 am on Tuesday, and they had already left without getting the furniture. And let me tell you, the person in charge of dispatching was so argumentative. I had to pay $500 with Zell just to get them to come back. And guess what? They came back on Wednesday, even though I specifically said not to, and the door was locked. I had to shell out another $500 to get them to come back on Thursday. And to top it all off, they couldn't even find the loading dock at the huge furniture warehouse. They wasted an extra hour driving around the building. They're just plain incompetent.
And then they had the nerve to say they wouldn't pick up the rest of the stuff without a 70% check for the remaining invoice, even after I already made a down payment and paid an extra $1000 for the return trips. The original quote was $2300, but now the new invoice was $4800 for the full delivery, plus the extra $1000 in costs and the $1000 down payment. Can you believe the audacity?
Finally, when my furniture arrived in Seattle, it was 4 days late and they had subcontracted the driver. Luckily, the team was good, but they demanded $1800 in cash to release my furniture. Can you believe that?
Do not use this company!
Do not use this company! I called to hire them to move from CA to Texas. I was quoted a rate of $1945.00, but ended up paying almost $7000.00. I told them I had only 3 large items and the rest were small/medium boxes. Two days before, I even emailed them a video of all the boxes and furniture that I needed moved. Still, they did not tell me the price would be more. The next day, the gentleman that came was not from Master Moving and he said it would be way higher. I had to pay by check and had no choice but to pay. I packed all the items myself, except for my 65-inch TV that I even bought the packaging from them. When my items were delivered (mind you, I had to call and didn't get the items for 2 weeks and they had no idea where my items were), I had to pay cash before they even opened the truck. When I unpacked my TV, the screen was cracked and the TV was broken. My wine fridge is also broken and a few of my dishes are broken. I filed a claim with Anthem Claim and after 4 months, I got a letter denying any payment for the broken items and only paying $45.00 for a 65-inch TV that they packed! They are not even taking responsibility for the one item they packed and that is what broke. Can I buy a new 65-inch TV for $45.00? It's like a slap in the face. The quote that was given on the phone to what I ended up paying was so much more, and now I have to buy a new TV that was damaged by them. I'm so angry and frustrated that they are not taking any responsibility and taking care of my valuables. Does anyone know a lawyer?
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are crooks. I didnt even hire this company. I hired Cross Country Relocation (CCR) but Master Moving Inc. showed up to move my items from CA to IL. The head mover, Will acted like he had no affiliation with CCR, yet later when I started contacting both companies to try to understand why my binding estimate of $3378 ended up being $4,729, I was told the supervisor for both companies is Ben. I had communicated previously with Ben via phone and text who was very rude. He wasn't even open to discussing the discrepancy. He hung up on me numerous times and told me 2-3 times he was sending my stuff back to CA & to come pick it up at his office. Back to moving day, when Will told me I was exceeding my estimated volume and he was going to cut me some slack. Well that slack ended up being $4729, which I was told after all my stuff had been loaded onto the truck and I was to pay $2700 right then. At that point you are trapped. Mind you I am forced to pay a company I didnt even hire. My estimate did not disclose that CCR is a broker. Will tells me he is actually going to deliver my goods. ANOTHER LIE... Apparently, CCR contracted my job to Master Moving Inc. for pick up (which forged my signature on my Bill of Lading) & I am not sure what company contracted my job for delivery with Unlimited Moving & Storage (also a nightmare of a company). This has been by far one of the worst experiences of my life. I hope all 3 of these companies get shut down.
We hired this company for an out of state move
We hired this company for an out of state move. They we're scheduled to show up on September 25th but showed up a day later. We we're told that wasn't their fault because it's not a guaranteed date.We we're quoted 4750 and upon packing our stuff they told us that we would have to pay extra because it went over our cubic feet and when asked how much extra they said they couldn't tell us until everything was loaded on the truck.Once they loaded everything they informed us that it would be an extra 9000 dollars!I proceeded to tell them to take everything off and I will find another company. They then proceeded to call the "boss" who negotiated a lower price with us.While on the phone with the boss one of the "movers" was tossing our stuff because he became agitated.I stayed on the phone for about an hour going back and forth with the "boss" because they weren't trying to have us unpack our stuff. We then agreed on a price and let them finish our move because we had no time or leeway to find another company.Once we got to our new home in Ohio I called to see when we would receive our items and they said they didn't know because there was no delivery address which was complete bs because our delivery address was on the contract. Here we are almost 3 weeks later and we finally got our stuff just for multiple items to be broken and damaged.I reached out to them multiple times and left multiple voicemails and emails and still have not got a return call.We are extremely angry because the price we had to pay for this move and the handling of our items was not worth it!I am highly upset as well as my husband because his brand new grill is now broken.Reaching out to them doesn't help at all because of their horrible customer service!Do not use this company!

Quote to actual price
I was quoted $2600 for a long distance move. When the movers got there and took all my belongings outside they said it would be $5700! It was the exact same inventory. They more than doubled the price and I even had to leave some stuff behind.
I can understand a $1000 more at the most but double?
I feel like I got scammed big time. I'll never use them again.
Claimed loss: $2100
Desired outcome: Refund of at least some of the difference
Moving
The basic way of operating of this company is:
First a person from sales team calls you up and discusses how much it is going to cost for the move
Next we pay them about 20% of the amount
When the driver picks up and loads the stuff he says our stuff is taking more space and increases the rate
When we tried to discuss with the company, another person from "Dispatch team" talks to us saying they have no idea what that sales person said and they are not responsible for it.
The main problem here is the attitude if the employees at this company. One of the rudest team I have ever come across in this country. They outright lie to your face and talk absolute nonsense when questioned. They don't even let you talk in the first place and their response is disgusting at the least. My stuff was damaged and there has been no response from them ever since. DO NOT GO WITH THEM, ITS A WASTE OF TIME, MONEY AND MENTAL PEACE.
Desired outcome: REFUND, APOLOGISE
I hired Master Moving Inc to transport my belongings, but they wanted to drop them off at a random Walmart parking lot during a rainy day
I hired Master Moving Inc to transport my belongings, but they wanted to drop them off at a random Walmart parking lot during a rainy day. The reason they gave was that their drivers lacked experience in driving and couldn't complete the delivery. However, they still demanded an additional $500 to carry out the task.

We asked about moving across the country
We asked about moving across the country. They gave us a really cheap estimate. But when they got here, they tried to charge us more than four times the original price, saying we had too much stuff. We only had them move half of our things and put the rest in storage (which we still have to go back to California to get). Almost everything they moved for us got damaged in some way. The first estimate was $1888 ($7 for each cubic foot). But when they got here, they said it would be $8800. We ended up paying $3800 to move only half of our stuff.
Me and my Mom, M***, we hired Master Moving Inc
Me and my Mom, M ***, we hired Master Moving Inc. to move us from San Diego to Texas. They came to move us on 11/18/2022 and gave us most of our furniture on 11/23/22. We're missing some boxes and the screen for our Pelton. Also, they gave us someone else's furniture that ain't ours. We've been trying for the past 7 days to call, email, text, and send messages on their website to figure out how we can get our stuff back and return the other person's stuff. Nobody's calling us back and we just wanna fix this problem. Help!
October 10th, 2022
October 10th, 2022. I took pictures of all the things that would be moved. I discussed it with Melssia from Master Moving, and we determined the amount. This was an updated estimate and more realistic of what would be moved from California to Michigan. The movers came quickly and loaded half of our belongings. Then they said I had way too much and demanded an extra $3000. I told them that the amount of belongings hadn't changed and we had done a re-estimate 2 days prior. But he just said "no" and insisted I had to pay. I explained that I didn't have that kind of money, so I asked him to take our belongings out. At this point, I had already given the company (Bison relocation?) an $800 deposit and I thought I would lose it. But then the mover told me that if I wanted my belongings back, I had to give him $1600 in cash. I felt threatened and this seemed like extortion. So I called the San Jose police and they promptly emptied out the truck of our belongings.
We was first contacted by Certified Moving Solutions to handle our move
We was first contacted by Certified Moving Solutions to handle our move. They outsourced us to Master Moving. They started breakin' everythin' down and took our boxes. The head mover wanted to talk to me and told me we was underquoted for our move. I didn't realize that would fall on our end and we had to dish out another $1000 on top of what we was quoted for 'em to take our stuff. We had no other option but to since findin' a mover last minute would have been impossible. We reluctantly go to USPS to get another money order so they can finish loadin' our stuff. I date on the contract that we would be at our apartment 11/17/22 which I guess did not matter 'cause they showed up on the 21st. The twist is that it was different people than the ones who picked up our things. It was almost impossible to get in touch with 'em and they never reached out to us during the trip to give an ETA. After they didn't show up 11/17/22 we got a call from a dispatch from another company (My American Movers) sayin' that they would be our new point of contact. I would like a refund of the $2000 we had to dish out at pick up due to awful service, up chargin' and sourcin' us to yet another company to deal with. I would take this up with 'em directly if they would bother answerin' the phone. Mind you, we originally talked with CMS to set this up.
Master Moving Inc, Order # MM8***22, 10/31/2022
Master Moving Inc, Order # MM8***22, 10/31/2022. B4 I hired this company, their employee told me they ain't no broker and their own truck with their company name would come. But on pick up day, a diff company showed up without a name logo. When I asked who they were, they said Master Moving lied. Still, I went ahead coz they said I'd lose my deposit if I canceled. I gave a detailed list of my stuff and agreed on the price, but the company that came took off sofa cushions and loaded them. Then they said they couldn't take the actual sofas coz it'd go over the limit. I asked them to remove the cushions, but they said no. They charged me an extra $4,000 but wouldn't tell me how they weighed my furniture. I called and emailed Master Moving for updates, but no response. Then they called on the weekend and said I had to pay $4,600 cash only. Banks were closed. Master Moving lied about taking credit cards after the deposit. They said I could pay in full on pick up day, but no credit cards. This company is a scam, unethical, and doubles the charges. The owner threatened to throw my stuff away and called me names on arrival. When I asked about credit cards for the extra $4,600, he said they'd keep my furniture unless I paid cash. Many boxes missing, most came torn, and things were stolen.
Their responses to my emails were very acceptable and although we ended up not making the move that we had planned there were no questions asked when we had to cancel. Refund of deposit was received in less than 48 hours.
