Good day.
In October 2023 I became the owner of 2024 Mazda CX-90 GT-P MHEV.
There were no particular problems, I like the car, everything suits me, but in December I started to smell something. That was the reason why I did the air quality test. I was shocked.
My car Mazda CX90 evaporates phenols and dangerous gases in the cabin; the content exceeds the permissible standards by 10 and 100 times. Please see the attached pictures.
Those numbers stay the same when I drive and when the car is parked overnight. I have opened a complaint in Mazda Canada, sent them all the pictures, videos and related information.
Mazda Canada does not hurry to take any action, despite that AHS does not recommend to be in the room (car) with such high concentration of phenol and dangerous gases.
It is also unknown how many other cars may have such a defect and kill their owners without a trace!
I cannot use my car while Mazda Canada does not take any actions because it is dangerous for me and my family. Also I use the car for work and cannot work right now.
Please see 2 videos I made with tests and measurements.
