ModernNursery Car seat false advertising

I purchased a car seat and cover only to receive a bill for about $200 in addition to what I already paid. They stated despite the fact that I had already paid they posted the wrong price so I owe about $200 more and I won't get the car seat cover I purchased either. They lure you in with good deals and then send an addition invoice. RUN from this company!

This is the second review that I'm writing as this website does not seem to include or delete negative customer reviews. I was very displeased with my experience with Modern Nursery and how they handled the situation. I LOVE THE CHAIR, BUT PLEASE DON"T PURCHASE FROM MODERN NURSERY! They have the same chair at Pottery Barn and other well reputable stores. I had purchased this chair and unfortunately the color was very different than what I had expected. I reached out right away to exchange the chair with another color and I was told that I cannot do so unless they reach out to Babyletto (manufacturer) to see if they'll take it back. Then a couple days later, I was told I can and that they would charge me or exclude the initial shipping fee of $136 that cost Modern Nursery to ship me the chair. Not only that, but I was responsible for shipping the chair back to Babyletter and that was going to cost me ~$480 (funny thing is I live in California and chair is being shipped back to a warehouse in California), but due to the size and weight of the chair that was going to be shipping cost and not only that I had to get it back to them within 10 days. Bottom line, Modern Nursery is not the place to shop. It looks like a "mom-pop" shop and seems like all communications are handled by a lady name "Cassie". Not sure if she is customer service or the owner, but definitely no help at all and doesn't care about customer service/satisfaction. So, bottom line I sold the chair on facebook marketplace and purchased another one from Pottery Barn (the color that I wanted). If I had to follow Modern Nursery's exchange policy I would've literally shipped the chair given back to them for free and had to pay an additional $~700 to exchange for another chair from them. This store/company does not have any RETURN or EXCHANGE policy and if they do there is a huge catch to it which you end up literally losing everything you paid for the product due to the fine print or other bogus charges for return/exchange they add to it. So, please stay away from this website and find your products elsewhere to purchase. This was by far the most negative experience being pregnant, spending so much on a chair, and trying to get a nursery completed!

ModernNursery worst buying experience ever!!

I went on the site to order my sister in law the doona car seat in marine navy, I paid and got an order confirmation email. Next day I get another confirmation email moving the shipping date to next month! I call and they can't find my order and have to call me back, I explain I am sending it as a gift and it wouldn't arrive before the due date so I would like to cancel. They call back and explain that they don't actually have the color in stock and that's why it would take so long, so I ask if they have it in turquoise sky, the woman says they have it but not at the warehouse it would take 3 weeks...she convinces me to get in gray and says they can ship it that day, I reluctantly agreed. I then get another call back from a different woman-she says "We can't ship it to that house because it looks abandoned" - I'm completely confused-"What?!" She again says the house I'm trying to send it to "looks" abandoned. My brother just bought the house I insist it is not abandoned that's ridiculous. I immediately ask for a refund (which I have still not seen credited to my account) I called my brother to double check the address it is right. They just bought the house and are doing renovations-Im assuming that the woman Google imaged the house and because it's a fixer upper she decided not to ship it, and didn't have any manners whatsoever. I ordered it from Albeebaby.com in the color I originally wanted and they shipped it an hour later no problem. This site was awful, difficult, and the customer service was extremely rude. They lost out on a $500 purchase and a customer.

ModernNursery Stay away!

I have ordered several items from ModernNursery about four months ago and never received anything! I contacted them many times and at first they promised me a refund, but then they just stopped replying. All these months I have bee trying to get my money back but it is a really hard thing to do since they decided to ignore me. I called my bank and they blocked ModernNursery, just in case they decide to steal more money from me. And now we are trying to think of a way how to get the full amount back.

ModernNursery I haven't received the whole order

I bought some items from the website www.modernnursery.com. I waited 3 weeks and got the order, but I didn’t get the all items. I sent tons of emails to the seller and asked about the remaining stuff, but the seller only told to wait and that’s all. I was really upset, so I wanted to warn other people. These people are scammers and liars, who take money and provide nothing. Please post your comments about this company.

ModernNursery Worst online shopping experience I have ever had

Worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I paid $300 for a crib set almost two months ago, but never received it. Called and emailed multiple times, and they finally gave me a ups tracking number which turned out to be a random tracking number that had nothing to do with my order. I cancelled my order two weeks ago, but I still have not received my money. Horrible experience! Very unprofessional.
